The doctrine of the Trinity is foundational to the Christian faith. It is crucial for properly understanding what God is like, how He relates to us, and how we should relate to Him. But it also raises many difficult questions. How can God be both one and three? Is the Trinity a contradiction? If Jesus is God, why do the Gospels record instances where He prayed to God?
While we cannot fully understand everything about the Trinity (or anything else), it is possible to answer questions like these and come to a solid grasp of what it means for God to be three in one.
What Does it Mean That God is a Trinity?
The doctrine of the Trinity means that there is one God who eternally exists as three distinct Persons — the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Stated differently, God is one in essence and three in person. These definitions express three crucial truths: (1) The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are distinct Persons, (2) each Person is fully God, (3) there is only one God.
The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are distinct Persons. The Bible speaks of the Father as God (Philippians 1:2), Jesus as God (Titus 2:13), and the Holy Spirit as God (Acts 5:3–4). Are these just three different ways of looking at God, or simply ways of referring to three different roles that God plays?
The answer must be no, because the Bible also indicates that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are distinct Persons. For example, since the Father sent the Son into the world (John 3:16), He cannot be the same person as the Son. Likewise, after the Son returned to the Father (John 16:10), the Father and the Son sent the Holy Spirit into the world (John 14:26; Acts 2:33). Therefore, the Holy Spirit must be distinct from the Father and the Son.
In the baptism of Jesus, we see the Father speaking from heaven and the Spirit descending from heaven in the form of a dove as Jesus comes out of the water (Mark 1:10–11). In John 1:1 it is affirmed that Jesus is God and, at the same time, that He was “with God,” thereby indicating that Jesus is a distinct Person from God the Father (cf. also 1:18). And in John 16:13–15 we see that although there is a close unity between them all, the Holy Spirit is also distinct from the Father and the Son.
The fact that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are distinct Persons means, in other words, that the Father is not the Son, the Son is not the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is not the Father. Jesus is God, but He is not the Father or the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God, but He is not the Son or the Father. They are different Persons, not three different ways of looking at God.
The personhood of each member of the Trinity means that each Person has a distinct center of consciousness. Thus, they relate to each other personally — the Father regards Himself as “I” while He regards the Son and Holy Spirit as “You.” Likewise the Son regards Himself as “I,” but the Father and the Holy Spirit as “You.”

Sometimes the Personhood of the Father and Son is appreciated, but the Personhood of the Holy Spirit is neglected. Sometimes the Spirit is treated more like a “force” than a Person. But the Holy Spirit is not an it, but a He (see John 14:26; 16:7–15; Acts 8:16). The fact that the Holy Spirit is a Person, not an impersonal force (like gravity), is also shown by the fact that He speaks (Hebrews 3:7), reasons (Acts 15:28), thinks and understands (1 Corinthians 2:10–11), wills (1 Corinthians 12:11), feels (Ephesians 4:30), and gives personal fellowship (2 Corinthians 13:14). These are all qualities of personhood. In addition to these texts, the others we mentioned above make clear that the Personhood of the Holy Spirit is distinct from the Personhood of the Son and the Father. They are three real persons, not three roles God plays.
Another serious error people have made is to think that the Father became the Son, who then became the Holy Spirit. Contrary to this, the passages we have seen imply that God always was and always will be three Persons. There was never a time when one of the Persons of the Godhead did not exist. They are all eternal.
While the three members of the Trinity are distinct, this does not mean that any is inferior to the other. Instead, they are all identical in attributes. They are equal in power, love, mercy, justice, holiness, knowledge, and all other qualities.
Each Person is fully God. If God is three Persons, does this mean that each Person is “one-third” of God? Does the Trinity mean that God is divided into three parts?
The Trinity does not divide God into three parts. The Bible is clear that all three Persons are each one hundred percent God. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are all fully God. For example, it says of Christ that “in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form” (Colossians 2:9). We should not think of God as like a “pie” cut into three pieces, each piece representing a Person. This would make each Person less than fully God and thus not God at all. Rather, “the being of each Person is equal to the whole being of God.”[1] The divine essence is not something that is divided between the three persons, but is fully in all three persons without being divided into “parts.”
Thus, the Son is not one-third of the being of God, He is all of the being of God. The Father is not one-third of the being of God, He is all of the being of God. And likewise with the Holy Spirit. Thus, as Wayne Grudem writes, “When we speak of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit together we are not speaking of any greater being than when we speak of the Father alone, the Son alone, or the Holy Spirit alone.”[2]
There is only one God. If each Person of the Trinity is distinct and yet fully God, then should we conclude that there is more than one God? Obviously we cannot, for Scripture is clear that there is only one God: “There is no other God besides me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none besides me. Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other” (Isaiah 45:21–22; see also Isaiah 44:6–8; Exodus 15:11; Deuteronomy 4:35; 6:4–5; 32:39; 1 Samuel 2:2; 1 Kings 8:60).
Having seen that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are distinct Persons, that they are each fully God, and that there is nonetheless only one God, we must conclude that all three Persons are the same God. In other words, there is one God who exists as three distinct Persons.
If there is one passage which most clearly brings all of this together, it is Matthew 28:19: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” First, notice that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are distinguished as distinct Persons. We baptize into the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Second, notice that each Person must be deity because they are all placed on the same level. In fact, would Jesus have us baptize in the name of a mere creature? Surely not. Therefore each of the Persons into whose name we are to be baptized must be deity. Third, notice that although the three divine Persons are distinct, we are baptized into their name (singular), not names (plural). The three Persons are distinct, yet only constitute one name. This can only be if they share one essence.
Is the Trinity Contradictory?
This leads us to investigate more closely a very helpful definition of the Trinity which I mentioned earlier: God is one in essence, but three in Person. This formulation can show us why there are not three Gods, and why the Trinity is not a contradiction.
In order for something to be contradictory, it must violate the law of noncontradiction. This law states that A cannot be both A (what it is) and non-A (what it is not) at the same time and in the same relationship. In other words, you have contradicted yourself if you affirm and deny the same statement. For example, if I say that the moon is made entirely of cheese but then also say that the moon is not made entirely of cheese, I have contradicted myself.
Other statements may at first seem contradictory but are really not. Theologian R.C. Sproul cites as an example Dickens’s famous line, “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.” Obviously this is a contradiction if Dickens means that it was the best of times in the same way that it was the worst of times. But he avoids contradiction with this statement because he means that in one sense it was the best of times, but in another sense it was the worst of times.
Carrying this concept over to the Trinity, it is not a contradiction for God to be both three and one because He is not three and one in the same way. He is three in a different way than He is one. Thus, we are not speaking with a forked tongue — we are not saying that God is one and then denying that He is one by saying that He is three. This is very important: God is one and three at the same time, but not in the same way.
How is God one? He is one in essence. How is God three? He is three in Person. Essence and person are not the same thing. God is one in a certain way (essence) and three in a different way (person). Since God is one in a different way than He is three, the Trinity is not a contradiction. There would only be a contradiction if we said that God is three in the same way that He is one.
So a closer look at the fact that God is one in essence but three in person has helped to show why the Trinity is not a contradiction. But how does it show us why there is only one God instead of three? It is very simple: All three Persons are one God because, as we saw above, they are all the same essence. Essence means the same thing as “being.” Thus, since God is only one essence, He is only one being, not three. This should make it clear why it is so important to understand that all three Persons are the same essence. For if we deny this, we have denied God’s unity and affirmed that there is more than one being of God (i.e., that there is more than one God).
What we have seen so far provides a good basic understanding of the Trinity. But it is possible to go deeper. If we can understand more precisely what is meant by essence and person, how these two terms differ, and how they relate, we will then have a more complete understanding of the Trinity.
Essence and Person
Essence. What does essence mean? As I said earlier, it means the same thing as being. God’s essence is His being. To be even more precise, essence is what you are. At the risk of sounding too physical, essence can be understood as the “stuff” that you “consist of.” Of course we are speaking by analogy here, for we cannot understand this in a physical way about God. “God is spirit” (John 4:24). Further, we clearly should not think of God as “consisting of” anything other than divinity. The “substance” of God is God, not a bunch of “ingredients” that taken together yield deity.
Person. In regards to the Trinity, we use the term “Person” differently than we generally use it in everyday life. Therefore it is often difficult to have a concrete definition of Person as we use it in regards to the Trinity. What we do not mean by Person is an “independent individual” in the sense that both I and another human are separate, independent individuals who can exist apart from one another.
What we do mean by Person is something that regards himself as “I” and others as –You.” So the Father, for example, is a different Person from the Son because He regards the Son as a “You,” even though He regards Himself as “I.” Thus, in regards to the Trinity, we can say that “Person” means a distinct subject which regards Himself as an “I” and the other two as a “You.” These distinct subjects are not a division within the being of God, but “a form of personal existence other than a difference in being.”[3]
How do they relate? The relationship between essence and Person, then, is as follows. Within God’s one, undivided being is an “unfolding” into three personal distinctions. These personal distinctions are modes of existence within the divine being, but are not divisions of the divine being. They are personal forms of existence other than a difference in being. The late theologian Herman Bavinck has stated something very helpful at this point: “The persons are modes of existence within the being; accordingly, the Persons differ among themselves as the one mode of existence differs from the other, and — using a common illustration — as the open palm differs from a closed fist.”[4]
Because each of these “forms of existence” are relational (and thus are Persons), they are each a distinct center of consciousness, with each center of consciousness regarding Himself as “I” and the others as “You.” Nonetheless, these three Persons all “consist of” the same “stuff” (that is, the same “what,” or essence). As theologian and apologist Norman Geisler has explained it, while essence is what you are, person is who you are. So God is one “what” but three “who’s.”
The divine essence is thus not something that exists “above” or “separate from” the three Persons, but the divine essence is the being of the three Persons. Neither should we think of the Persons as being defined by attributes added on to the being of God. Wayne Grudem explains:
But if each person is fully God and has all of God’s being, then we also should not think that the personal distinctions are any kind of additional attributes added on to the being of God. . . . Rather, each person of the Trinity has all of the attributes of God, and no one Person has any attributes that are not possessed by the others. On the other hand, we must say that the Persons are real, that they are not just different ways of looking at the one being of God . . . the only way it seems possible to do this is to say that the distinction between the persons is not a difference of ‘being’ but a difference of ‘relationships.’ This is something far removed from our human experience, where every different human ‘person’ is a different being as well. Somehow God’s being is so much greater than ours that within his one undivided being there can be an unfolding into interpersonal relationships, so that there can be three distinct persons.[5]

What is the basis for our belief in the Trinity?
There is but one True God – Isaiah 44:6; James 2:19, etc.
There are 3 Persons that the Bible reveals to be True God (i.e. God by nature). We are therefore driven to the conclusion that God is a Trinity. It is not something that we have dragged in from Paganism or the Roman Catholic Church as some who attack our Church like to suggest. The Trinity is a Biblical doctrine and we believe it and teach it because this is so. We are compelled by Scripture to accept that the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are all God but there is only One God by nature.
The Father
No one disputes that He is God so we will not investigate His credentials further.
Jesus
Jesus is identified as God in both the Old and New Testaments: See Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1; 20:28; Romans 9:5; Titus 2:13, 14; Hebrews 1:8; Philippians 2:6, etc.
Jesus claimed the Divine Name “I AM” which Yahweh used when He revealed Himself to Moses at the burning bush: John 8:58 compare Exodus 3:14.
In Jesus dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily: Colossians 2:9.
Jesus is “The Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End” – Revelation 22:13 compare Isaiah 44:6; 48:12.
Jesus shares the glory of God: John 17:5; Matthew 16:27 compare Isaiah 42:8; 48:11.
Jesus is the Creator: Yahweh says He made everything by Himself – Isaiah 44:24. The New Testament states clearly that Jesus was the Creator and that He made everything for Himself – Colossians 1:16; John 1:3; Hebrews 1:10. Quite clearly Jesus is Yahweh God.
Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords: Revelation 17:14; 19:16 compare Deuteronomy 10:17 and 1 Timothy 6:15.
Jesus is Eternal: Hebrews 7:3; Micah 5:2 compare Psalm 90:2; 93:2.
Jesus accepts worship: Worship is for God only – Exodus 34:14; Matthew 4:10; Acts 10:25, 26; Revelation 19:10; 22:8, 9. Jesus accepted worship – Matthew 28:9; Luke 24:50-52; Hebrews 1:6. To “call upon the name” is related to worship – Genesis 4:26; 12:8; Psalm 116:17; 79:6; Jeremiah 10:25; Zephaniah 3:9; Joel 2:32. This phrase used with reference to Jesus – Romans 10:13; Acts 9:14; 9:20, 21; 1 Corinthians 1:2; Acts 22:16; 2 Timothy 2:22.
Jesus hears prayers: Acts 1:24; 7:59, 60; 2 Corinthians 12:8, 9; John 14:14; Revelation 22:20.
Jesus is Omnipresent (Everywhere present at the same time): Matthew 18:20; 28:20.
Jesus reveals God to us: John 1:18; 14:9; Colossians 1:15; Hebrews 1:3. No mere man can reveal God – only God visible could reveal the invisible God. Jesus was both God and man – John 1:1, 14.

Some, influenced by people such as “Jehovah’s Witnesses,” have been led to believe that the New Testament reveals that Jesus was less than the Father by nature. A close look at the texts concerned reveals that Jesus was less in position not nature. We must not fail to notice that the Trinity is revealed to us in the context of the plan of redemption (covering the whole Bible). Jesus accepted a subordinate position to the Father as the Messiah. The above evidence clearly shows that He was not less than the Father by nature. (His Divinity was veiled while He was a man – He did use it on occasions – but never for His personal comfort or purposes).
The Holy Spirit is a Person
We do not learn much of His personality in the Old Testament, however, revelation is progressive (Romans 16:25, 26; Ephesians 3:5, 6) and the Old Testament also leaves us in doubt as to the nature of “the Word” (e.g. Psalm 33:6) but the New Testament makes it quite clear that He is a Person and is in fact God – John 1:1-3, etc. We cannot understand much about the personality and nature of the Holy Spirit for He is far different to us. However, the following references insist upon His personality.
He performs personal actions in association with other persons: Matthew 28:19; Acts 15:28; Revelation 22:17 – NB The Holy Spirit is a separate person from the Father and Jesus – Matthew 28:19 etc.
He takes the place of Jesus: John 14:16. Could an impersonal force take the place of the Divine Jesus on earth? The Greek word translated “Comforter,” “Helper,” or similar here is parakletos. This New Testament Greek word is never applied to other than persons.
In John chapters 14- 16 Jesus many times over deliberately broke the rules of Greek Grammar and referred to the Holy Spirit as ” He, ” ” Him, ” etc. Noted Theologians such as Leon Morris and J. I. Packer have pointed this out.
He exhibits qualities which evidence personal existence: Mind – Romans 8:27; 1 Corinthians 2:10, Will – 1 Corinthians 12:11, Foreknowledge – John 16:13, He speaks – Acts 1:16, Commands and Forbids – Acts 8:29; 11:12; 13:2, 4; (In these verses just mentions He refers to Himself as “me” and “I.”) 16:6, 7; 10:19, 20, Appoints – Acts 20:28, Vexed and Grieved – Isaiah 63:10; Ephesians 4:30, Works Miracles – Acts 2:4; 8:39, Can be insulted – Hebrews 10:29, Blasphemed – Mark 3:29, Loves us – Romans 15:30.
The Holy Spirit is God Go to top
Most, even those who deny the personality of the Holy Spirit, will admit that He is God in some way.
He is clearly referred to as God: Acts 5:3, 4. Compare 1 Corinthians 3:16, 17 with 6:19 and also 2 Corinthians 6:16. Compare 1 Corinthians 12:11 with 12:28.
The Holy Spirit is Yahweh: Compare:
Jeremiah 31:33, 34 with Hebrews 10:15-17.
Psalm 95:7-11 with Hebrews 3:7-11.
Isaiah 6:9, 10 with Acts 28:25-28.
2 Samuel 23:2 with 2 Samuel 23:3.
The Holy Spirit is Eternal: Hebrews 9:14.
Because the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are all the One God in Triunity (Trinity), what one does has the value of them all doing it. When the Holy Spirit comes to us it is the same as the Father coming to us, or of Jesus coming to us, or of the whole Three coming to us. The Holy Spirit is sometimes referred to as the Spirit of Christ – Romans 8:9, 10; Galatians 4:6; Philippians 1:19, etc. Luke 21:15 says Jesus will tell His followers what to say in time of trouble while Mark 13:11 says it is the Holy Spirit Who will do this. This is where some dissidents have become confused. They think that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are the same Person or that the Holy Spirit is some force that comes from Jesus and the Father. The truth is that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are the same God – not the same Person. Remember the baptismal formula of Matthew 28:19, 20 where they are spoken of as separate Persons.
John 14:18 tells that Jesus will come to His followers – Verse 23 says that both the Father and the Son will make their abode with believers. Verse 26 indicates that this will be through the Holy Spirit – see also verse 28 first part. There is no need for confusion – there are Three Persons all working in perfect harmony as One God.

A person who claims the doctrine of the Trinity is false because the word “Trinity” is not found in Scripture is as foolish as someone who claims 3½ inches, or, say, 5¼ centimeters do not exist because his ruler only shows whole numbers. The doctrine of the Trinity is presented in Scripture clearly enough for spiritual people to recognize, and solidly enough for unspiritual people to stumble over.

I am one who believed in the Trinity, GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON AND GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT.
I however too have had the same question as Brother Bush Tea NOT BECAUSE I WOULD WISH TO QUERY THAT UNERRING FACT OF THE TRINITY but because it needs reconciliation in the ole man’s head.

The Second Adam comes and gives HIs Life for All beings BUT AND HERE IS WHAT I BELIEVE TO BE THE CRUX OF Bush Tea’s query, IF I believe that JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD, who put off his Divinity to be incarnated or is that born of a woman, and to suffer as man and die on the cross, even the death of the cross, did part of the Trinity DIE, or did man die?

I have always left the reconciliation of the duality of THE SON OF GOD in that instance of DEATH TO THE MYSTERY OF OMNISCIENT GOD IN ITS TRIUNE BEING but because I have beleived that Jesus came as man and suffered as man SO THAT WE MIGHT HAVE LIFE ABUNDANTLY, I do not think that HE “stacked the cards in his favour” ergo His Tears at the Garden of Gethsemane” and His request to the Father to take the “Cup away from HIm”

I am humbly inclined to think that Divinity being set aside that Jesus the Son of Man died and while it will attract the cries of heretic from all and sundry, HE took back up Divinity, post such travail.
I do beleive that He Arose from the dead and as such, TRIUNE GOD, caused THE SON TO QUICKEN FROM THE DEAD.
Other than that it makes mockery of man’s travail IF THE SON DID NOT DIE.
Of course then comes the heretical statement “CAN GOD DIE” to which I would (incredibly??) answer no BUT I DO BELIEVE THAT TRIUNE “dissociated” so that the second Adam could come and suffer and die.
This is why He says, no one cometh to THE FATHER BUT BY ME, and the FATHER SAYS OF THE SON, “This is my Beloved Son, hear ye Him”
It makes sense to me but then again de ole man ent read deeply in these eschatological, epistemological, existentialist, metaphysical treatises DEM so forgive me for treading where “angels fear to trod”

I am not asking any highfaluting scholarly question ..very simply gentlemen…what is it that makes the concept of the Holy Trinity so anathema to your Christian dogma due to the physical death of Jesus?
In simple terms – like a fisherman casting net to catch the fish level of simplicity – the omnipotent Christ and Son and Holy Spirit are one indivisible. The human form of that Spiritual entity ceased to exist as all human forms do at death but clearly the immortal spirit of Jesus Christ was forever alive and at one with God.
That MUST be so if one believes in the immortal, omniscient Creator. How can the spirit of the Son of God die ?
If you argue that the physical death dissolved part of God or His power/presence or the concept of the Holy Trinity then why hold on to other constructs of the God thesis that are equally faith based and defy normal logic?
He is the Son of the Immortal God and his death was symbolic of man’s sins being washed away; not of his Spirit being defeated or dying.
At least that is the simple non-intellectual, non-scholarly message that I grasp from the story of Christianity.

The “duality”of simultaneous existence which you allude to, would present a situation where The Son was with the Father, all of the time, simultaneously, even while, Jesus the Son was travailing on earth those 33 years, and while I repeat that ALL IS POSSIBLE WITH GOD AND nothing exists outside of GOD, I humbly suggest is that it would negate the purpose of the Birth of the Christ Child, if there was a dualist state.
You would seem to be presenting an situation where, as opposed to an actuality of Death of the CHRIST, that there was now a “symbolism” of Death which borders on the ludicrous as if GOD, with errant angels and errant man, was incapable of resetting the system, AS HE SO CHOSE, through the total sacrifice of THE SON, HIS SON, ERGO THE SON’s UNASSAILABLE PLACE AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD.
TOTAL OBEDIENCE AND BELIEF IN THE FATHER which, while it would seem outside of the ken of man’s logic’, underscores “THIS IS MY BELOVED SON, HEAR YE HIM.
When Jesus the Christ thereafter says in John 14:6 “”… I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me…” this speaks to the sole path (for those of us who believe in the Christ) BECAUSE OF WHAT HE DID!!.
I do not know if we truly understand what Genesis 3;24 means when it says “So HE drove out the man; and HE placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life..”

The last sentence is the alpha and omega of any discourse on God: ‘Notwithstanding nothing is impossible with GOD.’ That is one of these little truisms where you state that as Rule one. And the last rule is always “whenever there is any discrepancy revert to Rule one”
I am not presenting anything different or new; just stating a fact. Jesus is the Son of the Immortal God and his death was symbolic of man’s sins being washed away; not of his Spirit being defeated or dying.
Symbolic meaning exactly what it’s supposed to as representing man’s sin being absorbed by God. Not that the death was fake or smoke and mirrors.
Was there a virgin birth ? Is that not something that is outside all human understanding of normal conception (or was that a la David Copperfield too; really Pieces!).
Why then is His physical death so difficult to rationalize as an act that also conforms to our human norms when it too is completely outside our scope of true comprehension?
Why would the immortal Jesus not be sentient outside his human form even in death.

Why must we always seek recourse in religious debates that because God is omnipotent and omnipresent therefore nothing is impossible. Should it not make sense to those struggling with their faith? The logical in me has struggled with these issues for some time.
I am not being contentious here, I sought and still seek to see if another denizen had come to a firmer understanding that the ole man’s logic could reconcile.
The fact is that I too had come to that place of “comfort” that I said “nothing” is impossible” and had reverted to Rule #1 because, in leaning on one’s own understanding, all else DOES NOT make any sense or seem illogical and constrained by reasoning that seems heretical.
I believe that GOD knows the hearts of all men and will realise that I sought only clarity where there is obvious confusion.
The barb re Thompson lies in the pronouncement of a certain “apostle” who said, as if he were omnipotent, Thomson would not die under his watch” I only sought to make the point that man proposes, even these men of the cloth, and GOD disposes, for such is HIS WILL and as such I consign this issue of “duality” to the Sea of Forgetfulness until He Answers it for me because WE can’t

The belief in God is one of His omnipotence. Ipso facto, nothing is impossible and conversely all things are possible.
To debate that basic tenet is to engage in the creation-evolution discourse. So good luck on that.
When we are racked with stage 4 cancer or our seven year old is killed with a stray bullet in a restaurant eating fries and a coke on a lovely summer day or an 18 wheeler jack-knifes and crushes the family on their trip home some of us definitely struggle with faith.
At the end of the day however after all the counseling the salvation still becomes God’s omnipotence and that looking forward all things are possible.
How else can a follower exist!

A church not started by a horny king but “hijacked” by said horny king and used for his own purposes still does not belong to him. Eventually it frees itself of such influences and returns to its rightful owner. You will be hard pressed to find persons of the ilk of those who were complicit in the deeds of the hijackers among today’s leaders of the Anglican Church in Barbados. Hey, I got a good story!
There was this chick,lets call her Sharmaine,who was keeping company with this carpenter guy, lets call him Shawn. They just good friends, nothing else going on,even if Shawn want to!
One night Sharmaine looked into the rum jar too often and she go for a few hours of sweet loving with Eddy, who has smoked far too much good weed and shit.
Some weeks later Sharmaine find she pregnant. She don’t want Eddie so she tell Shawn that she been loved by an angel and she still a virgin and she going to have gods baby and he got to marry her.

I sometimes wonder, usually in the very early hours of the morning, if Religion is an absolute inner characteristic of mankind born from a necessity for us to explain our origins in circumstances where we have no absolute knowledge of where it all started and I wonder if the various clues to those origins that are not immersed in dogma, are from dreams and in built feelings that some Godlike beings or entities must have started it all.
I wonder if it all started in some desert or cave setting long long ago before recorded history, when some nomads looked up at the skies and realised in their heart of hearts that something Grand must have been involved in our being here on Earth. We culdnt mek weself.
I also wonder if in those chaotic, catastrophic times when there were periodic semi-global extinctions and upheavals, if the progenitors of the priestly castes did not seize on the idea that God caused these catastrophes because of the “sins” of mankind and devised the use of human sacrifices as a measure to appease that God or those Gods and to postpone the occurence of such events.
I wonder if that barbarity was deemed by God to be anathema and that the antidote for it was revealed to receptive humans who were the progenitors of the Christian Church
I wonder if the central dogma of the Christian Church, that Jesus died as an atonement for mankind’s sins, was born of that imposed revelation that has removed human and other sacrifices from the armoury of the priest castes as it is now recognized that these sacrifices are no longer necessary since Jesus has paid the supreme price and removed that necessity from the consciousness of modern man
I wonder if Christianity, was revealed to mankind and indeed assisted in surviving as a doctrine, because it was the time for such a doctrine to be revealed and that it has done much to move mankind forward towards Point Omega, a new blossoming of Mankind and his capabilities that will move us closer to the Godhead.
I wonder, because of the many internal contradictions in that doctrine, if there was ever a “Trinity”. I wonder if that was a construct of the Nicenean church fathers, created to provide a rallying belief structure for the relatively new Christians and brutally enforced in the interests of the perceived good for all.

I haven’t forgotten. I grow ever closer. Since my adult acceptance of Christianity, dear Hopi, I have acquired the antidote for most of that venom. My remaining problem, dear Hopi, was control in the face of personal attack. I have through your kind services demonstrated that I have acquired at least a measure of the antidote needed for that – at least on social media where I have the time to count to ten before I respond. Can’t vouch for in person, though. The jury is still out on that one.

Prior to ‘western’ Christianity’s removal of the woman from the Trinity, the Ancients comprehended the inner and outer structure and functions of the human anatomy. Prior to the ‘corruption’ by the christian church of the Trinity, the Ancients viewed the the human MIND, BODY & SOUL as well as the Brain, Heart and Reproductive system as the Trinity. What the Christians call Jacob’s ladder, the Ancients knew this as The Spinal Cord and saw it as the connection between heaven and earth. Your Christ is said to have lived 33 years corresponding with the segments of the spinal cord. Then there’s the 33* in freemasonry. The story of Cain and Abel were known to the Ancients as the two lobes in the Cerebrum which gives us balance. The so-called curse of Cain was known as the curse of unbalance and so for killing the spirit of equilibrium Cain became a wanderer upon the face of the earth. What is referred to as the Upper Room in the New Testament was known to the Ancients as the Brain and the convolutions of the Brain are represented in the Christian faith as the 12 disciples of Christ. These 12 disciples (convolutions) gather/form around the central opening in the brain which is referred to by the Christians as the Holy of Holies and from here the ‘Spirit’ ascends from Golgotha…which is actually the place of the skull (not the place of crucifixion). Its said that Helena mother of Constantine visited Calvary about 400 years after the ‘crucifixion’ and no one there ever heard of Jesus….yet some 2500 years later …….go figure. There’s a lot more interpretations and misinterpretations to establish the folly of this ‘belief.’
The christians brought this version of the Trinity to the ‘uncleansed’ in order to keep them looking outside themselves for the answers. Once you have the non-enlightened looking to you for guidance its quite easy to convert them to your way of thinking and eventually control their thinking. The motto is to NEVER LOOK INSIDE always look OUTSIDE for the Answers.

Well we can’t agree that there is only one truth, or at most in a limited sense.
But we also know that the truth you told is what all the lodges are based on. The very lodges which hide the greatness of Black people from their Black members. Black people in lodges don’t know these truths about themselves and are left to roam in an everlasting wilderness.
Especially the Scottish lodges. This writer was an adult before the truth that the innermost secrets in the greatest lodges on earth were about the power of Black people. At that time it could be believed that a search would end up pointing at us, in this modern world!

The Black Human Race
All Human Phenotypes, and all Human Genotypes, are Black and African in Nature and Origin.
The Human Race has three main Phenotypes:
Negroid, Caucasoid, Mongoloid.
The genotype of an organism is the inherited instructions it carries within its genome.
In the Human Race, the natural coloration of each of the three Phenotypes is ALWAYS Dark/Black:
Except in cases where there is Genetic defect. The most common genetic defect in each of the three Human genotypes is Albinism.
The mixture of Black phenotypes and Albino phenotypes, produces the worlds Mulatto phenotypes.
Note that for each and every facial feature, or body type, that we have been taught to think of as White (European), or Chinese (Mongol), there is an original and much older Black version of the same.
Colorations – such as Blonde hair or Blue eyes, are a function of Albinism .
Clearly both Europeans and Mongols have very little genetic diversity
That is because Europeans and Mongols are both derived from only ONE type of Black Human (for the most part). Europeans are mostly the Albinos of India’s Dravidians. And Chinese type people (Mongols), are a Mulatto Race, made up of the admixture of East African Mongol phenotype Black people, and their Albinos.

Africans have the highest phenotypical diversity on earth,
producing variants covering most features.
African peoples are the most diverse in the world whether analyzed by DNA or skeletal or cranial methods. Attempts to deny this are rooted in racism and error. African people, particularly SUB-SAHARAN Africans, vary the most in how they look, more so than any other population in the world.
