israel-palestineAs the bombs rain down on the heads of women and children in Gaza…over 460 Palestinians have been killed, to be fair as well as Hamas fighters.  One is tempted to ask when will it all end, but before that question is answered we should ask ourselves when did it begin…I will not venture into Biblical history.  I am also aware of the Hamas rockets fired on the Israeli cities including Sderot and Ashkelon.

Regardless of the rights and wrongs of the situation –human beings are being killed – what cannot be denied is that after the Second World War the world disgusted with themselves for the treatment  the Jews suffered, sometimes with the acquiesce of some world powers and silence from others.  Sought to redress the wrongs suffered by the Jews, in so doing it was the Palestinians who had to pay… and they did with their land.  When the Israelis are asked how come you are entitled to these lands, they retort – God gave it to us, it is written in the Bible.  They are not many people today who can show title to land they hold by reference to the Bible in a court of Law…but that is bye the bye.

That Israeli is entitled to live in peace is so obvious that is is not worth stating but so are the Palestinians.

We have had so many Palestinian “bogey men”  who if they were killed or were out of the way all would be sweetness and light but they were killed or died…and there is no sweetness or light.

Do you remember Yasser Arafat, Ariel Sharon said he was an obstacle to peace and without his presence a settlement would ensue.  Arafat is long dead and new fighters and leaders have taken his position.  Do you remember Hamas Sheikh Ahmed Yassin the nearly blind paraplegic who was assassinated by an Israeli helicopter gunship in 2004 he was said to be an obstacle to peace he is gone and yet there is no peace.

The shrouds have been wrapped around babies and they entombed.  Mothers beat their breast and wail, the bombs rain down..there is no peace.

Conflicts have been settled and the world moves on, but I fear the Israeli Palestinian conflict will “grind” on for many a year.  There will be no peace for the price of that peace is an acceptance that the other side is entitled to live in peace and harmony; bold is he/her who will predict that they will see peace in their lifetime in the Holy Land…I fear I will not see it, however there are always surprises in war.

  1. As long as the Israelis have a friend in the USA that can veto any decisions by the toothless UN Security council, then they will continue to kill.

To think these are the same people who wanted the world to see what the Holocaust did to them , now perpetrating the same or worse type of atrocities on the Palestinian people.
All in the name of self defense against a Nation occupied by them……what a joke!!

  2. Maybe if the world switches to alternative energy i.e. non petroleum sources then the mid east will not be seen as so important. Then the US and Britain will have no need for Israel and it will then be a fair fight between them and the Palestinians. The Palestinians would probably win and there would be peace.

Ok I admit that I’m at a loss as to how this conflict can be resolved if ever.

  3. But it was a good try though …..

Uh? The world’s misdeeds? The world was launching rockets into Isreal? Isreal said this is why there are responding. Are they telling lies?

  5. @Anonymous

It would not be a fair fight. Israel has nuclear weapons and all the support armoury.

Another point is the action to escalate the violence on the eve of Obama’s Presidency. You make a good point about less reliance on fossil fuel and a shift to RE. This is what Obama has as a strategy for the exact reason you stated i.e. remove the geo-political importance from the region.

  6. The Israelis say the bombardment will cease when no more rockets are fired into Israel by Hamas.
Judging from the response of the western world, it appears that one Iaraeli life is worth at least 100 Palestinian.

  7. Please do not omit to say that the Gaza (140 sq miles) with nearly 1.5 million persons have been subjected to a suffocating blockade by Israel for over a year in response to the democratic election of Hamas. Israel occupied the Gaza from 1967 to 1994.

    ………………………………………………………………………..

Maybe you should ask …is it the truth?

Israel refuses to let journalists in to report even though the Supreme Court ruled against this.
…but that should not be a surprise as they have denied almost any organisations when it comes to looking at themselves.

  9. Israel is geographically a small country (about twice the size of Jamaica). Detonating a nuclear bomb in Israeli land space would be the ultimate suicide bomb. Israel’s superiority is essentially based on air power. Planes need fuel to fly. No fuel no air power. Israel can be beaten on the ground as Hezbollah proved when Israel last entered Lebanon.

  10. The Baruba Post http://barubapost.com/ as a public service publishes in its entirety the text of a statement read yesterday by Prime Minister Sir Baldwin J. Scantlebury in his weekly radio address broadcast live on BarubaRadio 83.1FM and streamed over the Internet at http://www.barubaradio83.1.com

“My fellow Barubans. I’m just old enough to remember the catastrophic aftermath of World War II. As a young boy my father took me with him to Germany in 1948 as he collected material for his “Never Again” book documenting the horrors of German National Socialism.

“Today, watching the savage, cowardly invasion of Gaza by Israel I’m compelled to recall our visit back then to the Dachau Concentration Camp in the suburbs of Munich.

“How could human beings be so bestial towards each other,” I thought on that cold bleak day. And admit I have found no answer in the intervening sixty years.

“I raise the same question today. How can Jews who suffered so much inflict the same suffering on others.

“How can they seal off the most densly populated piece of Godforsaken land in the world, with no electricity, no running water, no sewage system, no food, no communications, no medical supplies and no friends.

“And then attack with America’s most modern weapons to destroy buildings in which women and children cower in cold, dark cellars. And then, with the supreme blind arrogance of people who claim there is a “God”, say ‘there is no humanitarian suffering.’

“I will not speak for long today. My heart is so heavy. But as I watch TV and listen to the radio about this genocide I accuse the Israeli and U.S.A. cowards – beholden to the almighty Jewish Lobby – of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

“Why do I also call them cowards? They’re following their own New #1 Rule of Warfare.

“Never attack and invade a nation or state you haven’t reduced to poverty, misery and impotence beforehand.”

  11. The point about Israel and the ability to use nuclear weapons is true to a point. Israel’s nuclear capability keeps the Arab world at bay and makes the odds one sided in the Jews/Arab fight.

BU’s position is the Israeli position is untenable. The will and spirit of the Palestinian people will never be vanquished.

  12. They do not need a nuclear bomb to contaminate Israel.

Hamas’ latest missiles have Dimona’s Nuclear Weapons facility and its associated reactor well within range.

A factor which must also be in the balance as to whether an attack on Iran’s facilities is wise, feasible or worth it.

It’s 2:15 p.m. in Barbados and the Israeli spin merchants realise the entire world is outraged by their Gaza invasion.

So they’ve added to their “talking points.”

From now on you’ll hear “we can’t allow Hamas to fire rockets at innocent Israeli citizens and SMUGGLE WEAPONS AND SUPPLIES THROUGH ILLEGAL TUNNELS.”

(Tunnels because Israel has sealed off Gaza completely.)

  14. Do the rest of the world realise what Israel has done to the Palestinians for decades??
Yes, they left Gaza but they have the final say as to what comes in or go out with the blockade both land and sea.
They destroy the infrastructure which will send the already desperate Palestinians even closer to the stone age.
Meanwhile the UN keeps on side stepping the real issues and continue to play with words just like the Rwandan affair.
We also have a jackass Bush talking shite and giving Israel the excuse to flatten Gaza.
I wish US elections were like ours…..you vote…..count…..next morning …out on your ass !!
Instead , he has lots of time to truly f#@k up the world as his departing gift to Obama.

  15. Can we question the effectiveness of Rice and soon to be Clinton as agents for peace keeping in the region? Do they not represent the USA who not too long ago pillaged Iraq?

    Where is the trust?

  16. Yardbroom wrote inpart………..
but before that question is answered we should ask ourselves when did it begin…I will not venture into Biblical history.
    ———————————————–
I have the highest respect for Yardbroom and his posts, but in this case we ought to venture into Biblical history, because that is indeed the issue. Arent the Palestinans saying that Israel should not exist as a state?

I will now quote this prophesy from Psalms 1;1-5 and set you fellows wild at me, but it wont stop me from my beliefs.

2:1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, [saying],

2:3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

2:4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

2:5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

This prophecy is certainly now coming to pass, dont you think?

Also there is a need for one to really read up the history of the “land” from AD 70 until 1948, and one will see that the Palestinians did not occupy the land in this period of time.

Hall Lindsay has written on this issue.

Ok fellas, you can riot on me now. But its going to get worse in the “Fertile Crescent” soon, especially when Israel hit oil. Then all hell will really break loose……………..ARMAGGEDDON. The whole wrorld vs ISRAEL. Then the LORD JESUS will return at the second phase of the second coming.

  17. To be honest, Yardbroom, I think we should be more concerned with the problems of our own little, country than of some far-off land, don’t you? I don’t think they’d be too, bothered about us, if the shoe was on the other foot!

Let’s worry about our own people!!

  18. Trust BU to derail my New Year resolution to pursue without shame a life of decadence and hedonistic focus.

I shall put aside concerns about the mid east, health care, utility rate hearings, care for the elderly and all other such cerebral issues as I resume my pursuit of wild passionate sexual orgies, gluttanous consumption of vast quantities of food, drink especially alchohol and narcotic substances, mindless inconsiderate, very loud playing of music, slovenly uncouth behaviour as I trash home and the public places, conspicuous consumption of unneccesary goods, total disregard for fellow citizens unless they are young, pretty and female (and more than a bit immoral), a greedy money grubbing cavalier attitude to work and the extolling of anti-intellectualism as a virtue. I seek thus to be the perfect post modern self absorbed North Atlantic male in all of his narcissitic despair.

    What mid-east crisis what!

OK what I’m suggesting that if we behave opposite to the behaviour described maybe we will be able to contribute to the solution of such problems instead of facilitating their continuance.

  19. @ Georgie Porgie…..

With all due respect, Hal Lindsay is a Christian Zionist, would you expect anything else??

Does Israel in the Bible, describe or mean the state that we know now, or is the name symbolic like most things in the good book?
The state of Israel came about in 1948….Israel in the Bible was way before this time. Are they the same? How is that possible…..enlighten me please.

  20. Criticising Israel is the easy, option and the one favoured by people with mouth than cerebrum!! I don’t blame Israel for its reaction at all, and, hopefully, if another country attacked Barbados in the way in which Hamas has attacked Israel, we would respond in the same way!!

I would take up arms for Barbados!!

  21. You will soon get your wish 199…..

If we dont enforce a good and working immigration policy soon, Bajans will living like refugees in an occupied land too.

  22. @ Technician
Re With all due respect, Hal Lindsay is a Christian Zionist, would you expect anything else??

All true believers in the Bible are in a sense Zionists . They believe that the Abrahamic covenant is the central promise of Scripture, and that this is fulfilled through Christ (Galations 3:8).
The Israel in the Bible does refer to the state of Israel reborn in 1948. As far back as Genesis 15 and Deuteronomy it was prophesied that Israel would be displaced from the
“land” twice, as was fulfilled in 506 BC when the Babylonians sent them into exile. About 20% of those who went into exile returned under Ezra and Zerrubbabel. The second fulfillment concerning a dispersal occurred when Titus of Rome besieged and conquered Israel in 70 AD.

There are countless scriptures in the Psalms, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and some of what we call the Minor Prophets that prophesy about the regathering of the people of Israel. This prophesy started to be fulfilled in 1948 and has been an ongoing process since.

The good book is not to be interpreted symbolically but literally. If the Bible is to be interpreted symbolically it would make little sense. It is a myth from the devil that the Bible must be interpreted symbolically. Why should all other literature be interpreted literally, and the Bible interpreted symbolically?

A good rule for Biblical interpretation is IF THE PLAIN SENSE MAKES COMMON SENSE SEEK NO OTHER SENSE BUT INTERPRET NORMALLY UNLESS THE CONTEXT DETERMINES OTHERWISE. This is exactly what we do when reading all other literature. Isnt it?

  23. @ Technician

Note that Hal Lindsay has studied the Word since 1956 and is a graduat of Dallas Theological Seminary.

Now unlike you, who asked a question about what you did not understand, you will get some BIblical illiterates to come on the forum to challenge the Biblical view to the current conflict who have not studied the BIble at all.

But when I listen to Lindsay, I find that he rightly divides the Word of truth by relating current events to the prophetic scriptures and to the history and geography of the “Fertile cresent” of which Israel is a part.

  24. Thanks for the explanation GP.

I will leave my other questions for another thread (trust me …they are some burning ones I must ask) but right now the thread is about the Israeli / Palestinian conflict.

My views are not biblical, just plain old common sense and reasoning.
No justice or equal rights = war.

  25. @ 199 January 4, 2009 at 3:45 pm

With respect, I am about human beings. I have made comments about blacks in Zimbabwe, whites in the Eastern Block, Palestinians in the Gaza strip, blacks and even the poor and needy in Barbados.

That is the person I am of course your path is yours to follow; we can leave it at that.

  26. @GP, So does the Bible give Israel the right to bomb the shit out of the Palestinians in what is a most disproportionate response?

  27. 199 is like a ship without a port.

  28. Fair enough Technician

Just imagine you owned two houses side by side in the village, and you gave me one for peace. But then I started throwing big rocks pun your galvanize roof every night when you sleeping what would you do?

It is noteworthy that Israel gave up the Gaza strip in 2005, having been forced so to do by the USA. I remember seeing distraught Israelis leaving thier dwellings by force of thier own army. All in the name of peace.

That same morning Katrina passed over Fort Lauderdale as a nice tropical depression and dropped a few showers in South Florida before going into the Gulf and developing into the major hurricane that devastated New Orlans and the contiguous areas. The USA had reaped what it had sown by its anti-Semitism, and in accordance to the tenets of the Abrahamic covenant.

  29. Now that you have been banned by BFP…….again. Why not go back to the Bimbro handle? Done away with the name massa give you man…..you are free!!
    RLMAO !!!

  30. Tech….. Peace! Don’t stop!
Isn’t it interesting how Hamas are “firing’ these rockets into ‘israel’ and hardly anyone is injured. Its apparent that someone other than Hamas is firing with victimless precision. The motto of the Mossad is ‘By way of Deception thou shalt do War’ or words to that effect.
Who in hell are these beings that call themselves jews and israelis? They have no more right to Palestine than Shaka Zulu have to Iceland. Read up on the Balfour Declaration and you’ll see how these criminals took over Palestine. They are corrupt, they are liars and they are killers. Look for PALESTINE on a map today you can never find it. They are bleeping furious that they can’t attack Iran like they were successful in getting the dumb US to demoralise Iraq so in their thirst for more blood they revert to the slaughtering of the Palestinians. But the Palestinians will never, never give in to this filthy, bloody cult who wants total domination of the world. Hamas was democratically elected by the Palestinian people to be their representatives but the bogus beacons of democracy like the US refuses to acknowledge Hamas. But Right always find a way of kicking the ass out of Might and one day the Palestinians will triumph just like Hezbollah kick their filthy arses out of Labanon two summers ago. And for all you israeli lapdogs and christian armageddonists I pity you esp. if you are black. The same aparatheid system that was funded and supported by these same zionists to dehumanise blacks in S.Africa is the same system that is being implemented against the Palestinians. This is the same criminal gang that controls the media, mis-education, infotainment, business, banking …. in the US and the same gang that controls BaRat Obama and that same gang that is taking down the US today. But woe unto to you with eyes that can’t see and ears that can’t hear!

  31. 199

Please read the origin of the (and I can’t call it war) Israeli aggression against the Palestinians.

Nothing has changed and however it may look to you now, it is Palestinian land which Israel is occupying, on the basis of the creation of a state that left out the very people that owned the land.

They set out to create an elite state and has maintained it so as to keep out the Palestinians.

It will be interesting to see how Obama deals with this one. Quite frankly, I do not think there is further need for any protection of the Jews. That was a USSR problem. The day USA stops supporting Israel, that aggression will end.

  32. @ Juris
So does the Bible give Israel the right to bomb the shit out of the Palestinians in what is a most disproportionate response?
    ——————————————–
I dont know, what Israel’s response should be, or whether it is disproportionate………..nor do I care frankly. Thats not my prerogative. I am not on the throne. God is! All I have done is presented some Bible facts.

I could ask you a similar question that affects me, but you might answer just as I did.

  33. Georgie Porgie…… You are espousing unadulterated putrid. Don’t you know that these same people that you worship have absolutely no regard for your ‘lord and saviou Jesus Christ’ and by extension no regard for you. did’nt they call his mother a whore?

Picture a huge American football stadium just before the Super Bowl. The stands are filled with people.

Can you see it in your mind?

There is an ordinary book of matches in the very center of the field – so small that it can hardly be seen.

All the people in the stands want to destroy the book of matches.

The stadium is the Middle East and Northern Africa. The people in the stands are the Muslims of the region.

The book of matches is Israel and the 5 or 6 million Jews who live there.

  35. @ Hopi

Yes I know that the Jews who have returned to the “land” have generally done so in “unbelief” and that they “have absolutely no regard for my ‘Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ’. This has also been prophesied in the OT prophets, and is therefore to be expected. So I am not surprised at your observation. The Bible promises that those present at his ephiphany will weep when they see the one who was pierced for them

NO I do not worship the Jews. I worship God.

Re “did’nt they call his mother a whore?

YES I am well aware of this insinuation as described in John chapter 7.

  36. @View From Outer Space
You could not possibly give a better analogy of the situation. Go to the head of the class Sir!

  37. The cold history of the Middle East precludes a lasting peace. It maybe a pessimist view but realistic in the circumstances.

  38. David
There will be no peace in the Middle East until the Prince of Peace comes. Things in the fertile crescent have only just started to heat up!

  39. A few notes on the fertile crescent- the general area to watch as history unfolds.

The “fertile crescent” refers to an ancient area of fertile soil and important rivers stretching in an arc from the Nile to the Tigris and Euphrates. It covers Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, and Iraq. The Mediterranean in on the outside edge of the arc. To the south of the arc is the Arabian Desert. On the east, the fertile crescent extends to the Persian Gulf. This corresponds with where Iranian, African, and Arabian tectonic plates meet.

Three millenniums ago, where three continents meet, the most fertile land in the Ancient world was called home by hundreds of nomadic tribes seeking their place in the world. Their location was a curse and a blessing. The highly-desired land sandwiched between the Mediterranean and the Tigris and Euphrates rivers was a link to life: whoever possesses the land, would live; whoever did not, would perish in the unforgiving cycle of heat, drought and flood. The nine civilizations below did have their time in the sun. Each reached a level of achievement and made significant contributions to the western world.

This site notes the people that controlled this area over time. It is noteworthy that the so called Palestinians never did.

    http://lancefuhrer.com/fc_present.htm

  40. @GP..

While I respect your beliefs of the Bible, I can not see the analogy you try to show me.
    1. Israel did not give up the Gaza strip. They still have a tight blockade both land and sea around Gaza and they control the movement of the Palestinians.
    2. You saw people leaving their homes by the force of the IDF…….riiiight…..pray tell me …..how did they get to build their homes their in the first place.
3.After the 1947-48 war, the new state of Israel was created in 78 percent of what had been British Mandate Palestine under the League of Nations since 1922. The 22 percent that was left was made up of the Gaza Strip, a small piece of land along the Mediterranean coast abutting the Egyptian border, the West Bank, along the Jordan River, and Arab East Jerusalem. From the end of the British Mandate in 1948 until the June War of 1967, the Gaza Strip was controlled by Egypt, the West Bank and East Jerusalem governed by Jordan.

In the 1967 War, Israel took over the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem, the last 22 percent of historic Palestine. Those areas are now identified as the occupied territories.
4.Israeli troops arrested 415 Islamists from the occupied territories, forced them into military helicopters and flew them into the hills of south Lebanon. There, without documents, without permission and despite rejection by the Lebanese government, they were abandoned on the snow-covered hillsides.

We can go on and on with the history lessons or with the sunday school lessons but until God returns, this problem is immediate.
Like I said before, if there is not equality and justice for everyone then there will be war whether it is prophesied or not.

  41. Hi ROK, thanks for the explanation – which I already knew – but, where then r the Jews supposed to live, and don’t say Bim, please!!

  42. Tech!! Any port in a storm!! – don’t laugh, David!! 🙂

  43. @ Technician
You are very correct when you state “if there is not equality and justice for everyone then there will be war whether it is prophesied or not.”

You wrote “After the 1947-48 war, the new state of Israel was created in 78 percent of what had been British Mandate Palestine under the League of Nations since 1922”

Tell me who authorized the British Mandate Palestine under the League of Nations since 1922? Who authorized the Balfour Declaration? Was there ever a Palestine prior to this? What is the origin of these so called Palestinians?

Was the act of Anti-Semitism committed by the British the reason why so called/ or formerly Great Britain, declined remarkably thereafter? And ever since? Was this act of Anti-Semitism the reason why the sun no longer always shines on the British Empire, as per the tenets of the Abrahamic Covenant in Genesis 11&12 ?

As you rightly opine, “we can go on and on with the history lessons or with the sunday school lessons but until God returns, this problem is immediate.”

You are so right Sir. Maybe the countdown has started…….immediately! Aint it exciting! Of course things will get harder for Israel during the Great Tribulation period, before the Lord returns at his Epiphany too. But by then the true believers will be watching from above. Now aint that exciting!

Oh by the way Sir. This info is not Sunday School lessons, unless you attend a very good Bible believing and teaching church with a very good Adult Sunday school class.

  44. In case anyone thinks the Gaza Palestinians are living in a Mediterranean paradise.

    http://www.un.org/unrwa/refugees/gaza.html

The Gaza Strip is unique amongst UNRWA’s five fields of operations as the majority of its population is refugees and over half of the refugees live in eight camps. Most of the people who fled to the Gaza Strip as a result of the 1948 Arab-Israeli war were from Jaffa, towns and villages south of Jaffa, and from the Beersheva area in the Negev. In all, some 200,000 refugees came to Gaza, whose original inhabitants numbered only 80,000. Such an influx severely burdened this narrow strip of land; an area of only 360 square kilometers. Over three-quarters of the current estimated population of some 1.4 million are registered refugees; representing 22.42 per cent of all UNRWA registered Palestine refugees.

The refugee camps in the Gaza Strip have one of the highest population densities in the world. For example, over 80,688 refugees live in Beach camp whose area is less than one square kilometer. This high population density is reflected in the overcrowded UNRWA schools and classrooms. More than 2,066 new pupils registered in the Agency’s schools for the year 2004/2005. In average, 81% of the camps houses are connected to sewers while total area of paved roads and alleys is 385,000m2 .

UNRWA Headquarters (Gaza) and the UNRWA Gaza Field Office are located in Gaza City. The Agency co-operates its humanitarian work with the Palestinian Authority, which was established in 1994.

  45. Life is a funny thing.

Bush Tea is predicting that this latest action by Israel (which I maintain is designed to strengthen the hand of the current government in preparation for upcoming elections – by being seen as ‘strong on terror’) will instead serve to build an unprecedented consensus among their Arab neighbours – resulting in an astonishing military complex – and their own demise.

The ‘west leaning’ governments of Egypt and Saudi Arabia are first to be particularly at risk….

…he that digs a well, shall fall in it…

  46. Bush Tea
You are on the ball- as usual. The result of the current events will cause the Arabs to strengthen thier resolve against Israel in keeping with the prophetic scriptures.

Things will actually get worst for Israel; but they will be saved in the nick of time when the Messiah returns to win the battle of Armageddon!

Things are warming up friends. He IS COMING SOON.

No more corrupt or incompetent BLP or DLP governments! Can you believe it?

  47. Seems as if the Messiah was not too successful in standing up to the Romans and Herod, but he’s back …..JC2 and this time he means it…. Hamas, Al Qadea, Sub-primes, Global warming and Bird flu vanquished.

Tell me all about it 1st Jan 2013.

  48. Georgie Porgie has given some brief, but accurate Biblical and historic facts regarding the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, that simply cannot be ignored if any honest, objective, logical perspective is to be had on this devastating reality, both to the Jews and the innocent civilian population in Gaza.

No greater ‘lie’ has been popagandized more thoroughly than that the Palestinian refugees had been settled for “millennia’ in this land which rightly belongs to the Jewish people, confirmed by the strongest Biblical and historical facts.

The definition of an ‘Arab refugee’ implied a direct contradiction of ‘legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to their homeland for a thousand” or “two thousand years.”

The issue, since the modern State of Israel was created in 1948, with the Arab people, HAS never been the ‘land’ area given to the Jews, BUT, their right to exist. Over and over again, declared and repeated from the heads of a number of Arab states, IS, that the Jewish people MUST NOT EXIST, therefore, the State of Israel must be destroyed, wiped off the face of the earth, annihilated, period!

As was said, “The people are in great need of a “myth” to fill their consciousness and imagination…” (Musa Alami, 1948).

This ‘myth’ was to create such utter distortion of the historical facts, concerning the reality of the Jews right to their Biblical land, confirmed by clear historic evidence, BUT, to make them, the Jews appear as though they are the ‘aggressors’ and the Palestinian people the ‘victims’ this has been the relentless objective of the PLO and all other Arab terrorists groups.

One of the only honest, objective Arab leaders of the recent past, to truly comment on this ‘lie’ was King Hussein of Jordan, when he said.

“Since 1948 Arab leaders have approached the Palestine problem in an irresponsible manner…They have USED the Palestine people for selfish political purposes. This is rediculous and, I could say, even criminal.” (King Hussein of Jordan, 1960).

Can you negotiate any kind of ‘peace’ with others who HAVE made it emphatically clear, that their ‘sole’ objective, whenever they get the military might, IS to annihilate you off the face of the earth? Hardly!

  49. Straight talk scoffs
Seems as if the Messiah was not too successful in standing up to the Romans and Herod, but he’s back …..JC2 and this time he means it….
    ===========================
Straight talk you have the right to scoff now, but the time will come soon when you will have to bow to the authority of the same Jesus Christ.

    Philippians 2:5-11
2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Thats when he chose NOT to fight the Romans. He chose to die for you and for me, because without the shedding of blood there is no remission for sin……and because he was/is the Lamb slain from the foundation of the earth for sin.

BUT THE SECOND PART IS GLORIOUS. Isnt it?
2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

    2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth;

2:11 And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

yes Straight talk Hamas, Al Qadea, Sub-primes, Global warming and Bird flu will all be vanquished.

    7:00 p.m. Barbados time.

    CNN reports 485 Gazans dead.

That would be the equivalent of 2,30o in Israel.

And 92,000 in the United States.

(Didn’t the U.S.A. invade Iraq for far less?)
