Manifest Destiny claims the America’s territory

There’s no limit to what we can accomplish my friends

as long as we can go hunting once again

so heigh ho the dairy-o, a hunting we will go.

Our Marines, Naval Rangers and Army are so fine,

their guns and weapons made here and that is divine,

no other military can match our financial grasp,

so heigh ho the dairy-o a hunting we will go.

My names Trump, but you can call me President,

my names Trump but you can call me President,

when the chips are down we will send in the clown,

and muzzles flaring with spangle bright lights daring,

the hunts is on so beware my unfriendly frown

and heigh ho the dairy-o a hunting we will go.

  3. Venezuela will be absorbed into America’s Cone of Protection. That is what President Trump said. American Forces have taken the President of Venezuela and His Wife into custody for a singular purpose, that is to place on trial for various domestic and international crimes. Actually what is really happening here is a coup carried out by American Forces to establish a administration that is loyal to America and not other foreign entities. January 3rd, 2026 will show you a perfect method of replacing one administration with another. This has happened before but not on international and domestic television. We all see bombs going off in this far off land where your vehicles gas may actually come from. This coups purpose is clear. Allow America’s Texan Oil Cartels to take over Venezuela’s Petroleum Sector. Its all about corporate profits and allowing President Trump to shout out loudly “He is the King of the American Continent”.

So long as the oil flows Americans will not care about the Guerrilla War that will exist in Venezuela’s Jungles where Venezuelan Nationalists, Progressives and Foreign supporters will fight to the death. America has become in effect a occupation force once again. Oh, did Donald Trump not promise to make the same mistakes his predecessors did by getting involved in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan? What of the national sovereignty all nations enjoy? America simply carried out what is surely a criminal act against another nation kidnapping their leader and surely killing the soldiers who were loyal to him.

Donald Trump says America is proud of its service people on and all. Are you? Sure they carried out their orders just like any other soldier would but what they did, was it the right thing to do? And for who? Not the American People, but perhaps for America’s Corporate Elites especially their Energy Sector Guru’s.

Might makes right! Get used to that adage folks. The American Bully is back in town!

They all could as well withdraw their Embassies throughout the Americas. Sheriff Trump ain’t having none of that.

Perhaps we will soon witness the dissolution of Caricom and witness their integration within the USA confederation. Caricom is too poor, weak and vision less to aspire to greater heights.

What a ting!!!! White supremacy is back. Let’s be honest it never disappeared within our region.

  8. Did Delcy Rodrigues and vested interests sell out Nicholas Maduro and the Bolivarian Project last night?

Not a shot fired, low flying helicopters entering Venezuelan airspace, Russian warships in Venezuelan waters, the grave site of Chavez being bombed, stout air defense systems silent, the non-activation of any set of defense forces, Maduro aroused from his slumber and bundled on to an American helicopter.

Amid Russian, Iranian, Cuban and Chinese interests, satellite constellations, other eavesdropping systems, human intelligence agents on the ground and most of all contributors to Venezuelan security.

The Americans are not anywhere near this good. The answer to our question must therefore lie within the skullduggery of dark arts of the CIA, bribery, deception, kompromat.

We’ve been trying to rap ours heads around how American military criminals could have navigated layers of inner and outward security and kidnapped Maduro and wife in the middle of the night.

We understand the urgent motivations of the Americans, and it’s centered on the ‘control’ of oil but not limited thereto.

But this mental picture is still incomplete.

The Ukrainians may as well give up the ghost, the Americans claim the Americas as within their sphere of influence, so Putin is smiling because he claims the same for Ukraine, China which just conducted military exercises all around Taiwan may be singing hallelujah!

The Baltics have large Russian population so Russia may be tempted to annex those states, NATO be damned and we may see that what cannot be contemplated.

To answer your question, Rubio and the other old heads in Miami would probably like that, but if it happens it would be the result of economic pressure (think blockade), any other scenario will mean the spilling of American blood and that would be too much even for the octogenarian.

  17. Caine said that Trump gave the order to go at 10:46 p.m. ET Friday and that military forces arrived at Maduro’s compound by 1:01 a.m. ET Saturday. By 3:29 a.m. Saturday, Caine said, the military forces were back over water with Maduro and Flores.

Trump, who said he watched the operation unfold live from Mar-a-Lago, said Maduro “was trying to get into a safe place” made of steel as U.S. military forces stormed his compound.

People like you must try to consider more than one self-serving data point per nano-second.

Consider Juan Hernandez, a former president of Honduras, released from a US prison by this same Trump, two or three years into a 40 year sentence, Trump lionized by you as a most vicious imperialist. Hernandez, was convicted for trafficing tens of tons of cocaine into the United States. Maduro has no such history.

The American is impire is dead has yet another idiot is in charge. What we see is the rigor mortis of a dead empire. And it will continue the very violence which made it great ……………. until some one hits back. Venezuela might very well be the Vietnam of this hemisphere.

So a real criminal goes free but a duly elected president is kidnapped. And this is justice as supported by the likes of you.

    Perhaps Greenland is next.

Approximately two weeks ago, Trump reiterated his position that Greenland is vital to US defence interests, and appointed a special envoy to that country, Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry, who is supposed to “lead the charge.”

“We need Greenland for national security, not for minerals,” the US president said. “If you take a look at Greenland, you look up and down the coast, you have Russian and Chinese ships all over the place… We have to have it.”

  20. I AM NOT CONCERNED BY MADURO’S CHARGES OF BEING ALLEGED A DRUG TRAFFICKER.

I AM HAPPY FOR THE MANY OF MILLIONS OF VENEZUELANS WHO HAD TO FLEE THE COUNTRY BECAUSE OF THIS BUS DRIVING FOOL AND HIS CORRUPT REGIME.

I MET MANY VENEZUELANS IN FLORIDA WHERE I LIVED PREVIOUSLY AND WILL NEVER FORGET THE STORY TOLD TO ME BY ONE MALE WHO WAS A UNIVERSITY GRADUATE IN CARACAS WHO HAD TO FLEE. HE TOLD ME BEFORE FLEEING TO FLORIDA HE WAS EARNING US$24 MONTHLY AND WAS NOW EARNING US$20 PER HOUR OR IN AN 8HR US160 PER DAY MORE THAN 6 TIMES WHAT HE MADE IN 1 MONTH IN VENEZUELA IN 1 DAY. HE COULD NOW PROVIDE A BETTER LIFE FOR HIS FAMILY.

HE ALSO MENTIONED THE LIVING CONDITIONS AND SUFFERING MOST VENEZUELANS WERE EXPERIENCING HOWEVER UNDER MADURO WERE AFRAID TO SPEAK OUT WHICH WOULD LEAD TO EITHER PRISON OR OTHER CONSEQUENCES.

THIS SAME AS MADURO NEEDS TO BE DONE IN TANZANIA AN EQUALLY CORRUPT REGIME AND KILLER OF THEIR OWN PEOPLE BECAUSE OF CORRUPTION AND GREED.

  22. The idea an imperialist state can feel emboldened to remove any government is frightening.

The fact that in this case the country has the largest oil reserves in the world is instructive to understand the geopolitical implications. Bear in mind the USD is under threat with the emergence of BRICS.

What the US action yesterday has triggered is to feed the view in some quarters that Russia can have Ukraine and China take control of Taiwan if they feel inclined. The world will be carved into three dominions.

  23. Sad day for region, says Marshall

    By Shawn Greene shawngreene@nationnews.com

The United States’ military occupation of Venezuela has triggered sharp warnings from Caribbean academics, who say the action has shattered decades of regional peace, undermined international law and could have immediate security, economic and political consequences for Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean.

Professor Don Marshall has described the United States’ military occupation of Venezuela as “a sad day for the region,” warning that yesterday’s bombing in the heart of Caracas could trigger serious regional security and economic fallout.

Speaking on the issue, Marshall, a professorial fellow at the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies at The University of the West Indies, said the action marked a decisive break from what had long been considered a stable geopolitical environment.

“As a Caribbean person, I’m very disheartened to learn that the peace that we have enjoyed for close to 34 years, since 1989 with the removal of Manuel Noriega and I think a little later after that with the removal of Aristide from Haiti, we’ve been enjoying relative peace,” he said. “It’s fair to refer to the region as a zone of peace. That’s shattered now.”

    International law

Marshall argued that the US action could not be justified under international law.

“There was no international law that can uphold the action of the United States under Donald Trump at this moment and the defence for this action is also very weak,” he said.

“So however you look at it, the justifications are quite narrow, except, of course, if you look at the question of who controls the largest reservoir of oil. It would have to be the United States, seeing that they are now militarily occupying Venezuela as we speak.”

He said the occupation signals a broader breakdown in global norms.

“So in terms of an understanding of the geostrategic significance of this, basically what we see is that international law has been set aside,” Marshall said.

“The ‘Trump-quake’ keeps getting more and more unstable. If we have to measure it on the Richter scale like we do earthquakes, we would say it’s almost off the charts and I’m not being outlandish when I say this.”

Marshall compared the situation to past US interventions in the region.

“Because, when you go back to 1989, we saw a similar action when the United States took out a similar leader in a similar fashion – an abduction, a kidnapping,” he said. “And if you respect law and order and respect sovereignty, you couldn’t support this action.”

Marshall warned that the effects of the occupation were already being felt across the Caribbean, including Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago.

“The reverberations of this have been felt right away in terms of flight travels to Venezuela and any business arrangements that we have with Venezuela comes to an end,” he said. “ . . . travel of Venezuelans across the region is now also fraught with uncertainty.”

He said Caribbean states would now face heightened security challenges.

“There’s going to have to be heightened security at our various ports of entry relative to fleeing Venezuelans or Venezuelans who will be on the move because of the uncertainty created by the ousting of its regime.

“So right away there’s going to be a security crisis, an imminent situation of trade and business relations with Venezuela throughout the region until some kind of normalcy can be restored.”

    Repercussions

Marshall expressed particular concern about potential repercussions for Trinidad and Tobago.

“A country, Venezuela with 28 million people, how many of them will feel aggrieved about the role of Trinidad and Tobago?” he asked.

“And you know it only takes a few people sufficiently radicalised to believe that they must engage themselves in all kinds of ways of critiquing and tuning out Trinidad and Tobago for its role in what is now a toppling of a certain regime.”

He cautioned against dismissing the possibility of regional instability.

“It’s a sad day really for international politics. World order has been delayed,” Marshall said. “And then I really don’t want to raise the boogeyman about skirmishes and that sort of thing that can occur if a sufficient number of Venezuelans feel that Trinidad and Tobago would have played a direct role in facilitating its degradation of authority.”

“I shudder to think that we can completely rule that out and I also shudder to think that that can be a reality facing Trinidadians and persons looking to travel to Trinidad,” he added.

Political consultant and director of the Caribbean Development Research Services (CADRES), Peter Wickham, said the unfolding situation could also have implications for domestic politics, including election timing.

“The only concern I have now is the extent to which this Venezuela situation could impact on the Prime Minister’s [Mia Amor Mottley] decision to bring forward the election date or, alternatively, to hold it back. Because that is an evolving situation and depending on the extent to which the United States wants to continue this action.”

Wickham said unresolved issues could influence political decision-making.

“But I do feel there are lots of answered questions that I think might have an impact on the Prime Minister’s decision to call the election,” he said.

Political scientist Dr George Belle declined to comment on the situation when contacted by the Sunday Sun, noting it would be premature for him to do so at the time.

Opposition Leader Ralph Thorne declined to comment.

  24. The blogmaster found the Adrian green piece in today’s Sunday Sun to be on point.

Consciousness of the people is powerful

In 2002 there was an attempted coup in Venezuela. Then President Hugo Chavez was captured. His captors produced a document, allegedly signed by Chavez, saying that he had agreed to step down as president.

A new president was installed and almost immediately, practically the entire Western government and media apparatus was celebrating and congratulating a new government of Venezuela. The coup lasted less than two days. Large throngs of civilian protestors took to the streets to demand and achieve Chavez’s release and return to power.

Had it not been for the will of the Venezuelan people, there would have been regime change in Venezuela a long time ago.

Nicolas Maduro is not Hugo Chavez. The Venezuelan people of today are not necessarily of the same mind as the Venezuelan people in 2002. How they respond in the aftermath of the bombing of Venezuela and the kidnapping of President Maduro and his wife will be a key factor in the future of the country.

What happened in Venezuela in 2002 was a key factor in leading me to the conclusion that ultimately, the only real protection a nation has is the consciousness of its people.

I made this statement on the radio in 2021, during a discussion about Barbados’ transition to a republic. This and other statements made on the radio programme were misunderstood and misrepresented by two renowned UWI academics. In another segment of the Press they wrote, “How does the psyche of a people limit the real and legal powers of the Prime Minister as accorded by the Constitution of Barbados?

Rules are required to limit the powers of a Prime Minister.” They totally missed the point. The point was that no matter what powers are legislated on paper, it is the mindset, the consciousness and the culture of the people that matters most. The Venezuelan people proved that in 2002. They reversed what was not only written on paper, but was also backed by the gun.

One of the two critics, Dr Ronnie Yearwood, became the leader of the Democratic Labour Party. He got a first-hand example of how and why the consciousness of the people is so important when he was removed as leader and expelled from the party in what many considered a kind of political coup. At the time he said about the expulsion, “It is clear that it was not above board.” Hoping for a reversal of the result of the coup, there were calls from Dr Yearwood’s side for the membership to “rise up and make wrong things right.” It did not happen. He did not have the protection of the consciousness of the people in the rank and file of the party.

This is a mistake academic, political and corporate elites in nations like ours tend to make. In a nation with relatively law-abiding citizens, who are generally accepting of the status-quo, they may think that their knowledge, position or capital are sources of power that reign supreme.

Through decades of public apathy and complacency, the consciousness of the people comes to be seen as a non-factor only to be invoked around election time. And it is often invoked in the most detrimental ways.

Around election time strategies for raising the consciousness of the people tend to focus on jolts of scandal, insult, spin, and other forms of negative campaigning. Even if successful in getting or keeping a party into power, these strategies cause problems for the winning party down the line.

They will deal with a culture of everincreasing general levels of apathy, suspicion, and disaffection. The nation is damaged and made more vulnerable in the process.

Academic, politically aligned and corporate elites may be fine with that as long as their own sources of power and protection remain intact. Until greater powers from outside come to take over. Then they either roll over and acquiesce, flee or bawl for protection from the people. However, if the people themselves have not learned to appreciate, organise and practise their own power, God help us all.

If criminally charged in NY, he will be freed in days – based on the USA’s Laws.

REGIME CHANGE @ THE END OF MISSILES, BOMBS, GUNS & BULLETS *NEVER* WORKS – FOR THE MONROE DOCTRINE IS THE ASININE, JACKASSERY OF FEEBLE, ANEMIC MINDZ WHO BELIEVE THEIR CRAP DOES NOT *STINK* TO HIGH HEAVENS

According to academic analysis, attempts 2 “IMPOSE DEMOCRACY AT GUNPOINT” are overwhelmingly ineffective & more likely to reduce democracy & increase repression in the targeted country!!!

A “STUDY OF 28 U.S. REGIME CHANGE CASES”, found only [3] resulted in lasting democracy & those (Germany & Japan, post-WWII) had unique, favorable preconditions…

The historical track record of “AMERIKKKA-LED-REGIME-CHANGE” is complex, with its success varying dramatically depending on the definition of “WORKED.” Looking at this history is crucial for assessing the current situation in Venezuela, where the U.S. has just removed President Nicolás Maduro from power!!!

In the long term, such interventions have frequently & spectacularly failed to achieve stated goals like democracy or stability, & often come with significant “UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES”!!!

Trump believes that he has had #ImmediateSuccess, but the seeds of “LONGTERM INSTABILITY” has been sown & though the regime has been quickly removed, this could easily lead to prolonged civil conflict, humanitarian crises, and/or a failed state – (Examples: Iraq (2003), Libya (2011), Afghanistan (2001)!!!

#ReplacementAuthoritarianRule has been historically endemic wherever regime change has raised its “NASTY HEAD” – where hostile leaders are replaced with an *AMERIKKKAN*-friendly, but (ANOTHER) repressive dictator – (Examples: Iran (1953, Shah Pahlavi), Congo (1965, Mobutu Sese Seko), Chile (1973, Augusto Pinochet)!!!

The “HAWKS” in the war-room in Washington may have had a minor strategic success in Venezuela, but history has proven a catalog of failures with legacies of even greater fractionalization!!!

    #LetMeExplain

Military operations may achieve core U.S. strategic goals in a contained area like Venezuela, but example like Panama (1989), where removing Manuel Noriega secured the canal & led to a democratic transition, though it remains a controversial act of intervention!!!

Nothing is to be gained from war in Venezuela – other than “COMPLETE FAILURE”, where overt or covert attempts to overthrow any GOV* will eventually fail spectacularly. Some examples are Cuba (1961 Bay of Pigs), & multiple attempts during the Cold War!!!

The operation to capture President Maduro on Jan 3, 2026, has achieved its immediate, narrow goal – however, the long-term outcome is highly uncertain & fraught with risks that will mirror most historical failures!!!

U.S. forces captured Maduro, who now faces narcoterrorism charges in New York. President Trump stated the U.S. would temporarily “RUN THE CUNTRY” to oversee a transition & “GET THE OIL FLOWING”, framing the action as counter-narcotics enforcement – “WHICH WE ALL KNOW IS A DAMNABLE LIE”!!!

My sister-in-law is stuck in St Vincent, after her XMAS* break & “VIRGIN ATLANTIC” has written to them saying that flying THEM* home to Barbados cannot be facilitated this week, due to several, unexplained uncertainties!!!

    WHAT A CROQ!!!

QUESTION: WHAT IS THAT GONNA’ DO 2 THE TOURIST TRADE???

Anyway, a battle 4 another day!!!

With such significant challenges ahead, & no clear transition plan, “UNLIKE” the Panama operation, there appears to be no agreed-upon roadmap for a stable, legitimate transfer of power within Venezuela…

The U.S. has recognized Vice Prez #DelcyRodríguez as acting president, but she has condemned the operation as an “ILLEGAL KIDNAPPING” & the Bolivarian Armed Forces commanders are “UP” for a fight, which will “DRAG” the “ENTIRE REGION” into a “HELLSCAPE”, as “LATINOS” relish guerilla “WARFARE” – as it is in their blood!!!

Then, as political scientists et al have observed – the risk of “POWER VACUUM & CHAOS” raises its “UGLY HEAD”, Venezuela is vastly larger & more complex than Panama, & neighbouring countries have a “HARD-ON” 2 take on the “AMERIKKKAN BULLY” head on, knowing that this could very well be his Vietnam!!!

#SocialAnalysts are warning that without a meticulously managed transition, the country could descend into chaos, with various armed factions, including Colombian guerrillas & “OTHERS”, fighting for control & this is what many expect will happen given Venezuelan vast resources!!!

Adding further insult, is the geopolitical & legal backlash that we are seeing one day in, where Trump’s actions has been widely condemned as a violation of international law & sovereignty, by countries including China, Russia, Iran, North Korea and many other regional neighbors, setting a dangerous precedent for “ALL OUT ESCALATION”!!!

I have argued since last “SABBATH” evening when the “BOMBARDMENT” began that there is now a “GLOBAL PRETEXT” for “CHINA” 2 HIT TAIWAN”; #NorthKorea 2 strike Japan & #SouthKorea; “Russia 2 “SEMI-NUKE” Ukraine & end the war” & take the country over completely” pushing the EUROPEAN UNION into abject mutiny; Cambodia & Thailand “BREAKING THEIR TRUCE”; & most “VOLATILE” of all, for IRAN* to “NUKE” #IsraHELL* (BRINGING 2 PAST THE APOCALYPSUS SO LONG PROPHESIED IN THE WORD OF ELOHIM)!!!

    #WatchTheNextMovesInVenezuela

Firstly, the nature of the “NEW GOV”: Will it be seen as a SOVEREIGN, LEGITIMATE ADMINISTRATOR” or “TRUMP’S PUPPET”? Most importantly, can it unify the country???

Secondly, “WATCH” the humanitarian & stability metrics, given impending violence & refugee outflow increase or decrease & does the economy & oil production recover???

Finally, what is the long-term U.S. involvement & does it become mired in a lengthy nation-building or counter-insurgency project, or can it withdraw cleanly???

Based on my social historian penchant & knowledge, achieving a stable, democratic, & peaceful Venezuela through foreign-imposed regime change is an exceptionally difficult challenge – “IF NOT NIGH IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Maybe, the “PUNDITS” have another point of view but regional instability, mired in chaos & the coming “SHOCKS” to the “FUTURES MARKETS” et al will result in all kinds of monetary discombobulation!!!

    #StayTuned

WE ARE ONLY [4] DAYZ INTO THE NEW YEAR – GET OUT THE POPCORN FOLKS, IT GONNA’ BE A RIDE LIKE NO OTHER!!!

How is it different to the takedown of Gadahfi, Noriega or CIA operations to undermine Chavez, destabilize Guatemala etc?

The world currently is in the throes of “DANGEROUS POlieTICAL SEISMOLOGY”, but too many are complacent as to what is materializing before their very eyes!!!

Thank GOD*, Prez Ibrahim Traore is safe & sound & that his people are contained!!!

THE GLOBAL WORLD ORDER IS NOW IN ABJECT TATTERS!!! THE PALEOLITHIC MANTRA VOICED BY MID CENTURY MUSKATEERIAN NOTABLES – #All4One & One4All HAS BEEN A SIDE-WINDER MISSILE IN THE LAPS OF THE GLOBALISTS ILLITERATI WHO THOUGHT THEY COULD UPEND THE POLYTRICKS OF INTRIGUE BY HERDING MANKIND INTO DESPOTIC CAMPS OF ONE-WORLD UNIVERSALISM

    #GeeGollyBatman

An inaptly piece in “The Guardian, by one Julian Borger – entitled “The ‘Putinization’ of US foreign policy has arrived in Venezuela” cites a “BARAGE” of quips, anecdotes & innuendoes that is almost salient to the “MORBID” times we live in…

Borger asserts: “Donald Trump has been driving convoys of bulldozers through that increasingly fragile edifice (WORLD ORDER) since taking office nearly a year ago, and now it is mostly wreckage. The events overnight were preceded by airstrikes on small boats in the seas off Central America and the killing of their crews based on unproven allegations of drug trafficking, and the armed seizure of Venezuelan oil tankers on the high seas. It is not yet known how many people were killed in the capture of Maduro in the early hours of Saturday…”

He further opined: “Trump’s belief in his own global omnipotence, and his desire to grab the territory and natural resources of other countries has been held in check until now by his fear of entanglement in foreign wars. He claimed (falsely) to have ended eight wars, and his greatest ambition in 2025 seemed to be winning the Nobel peace prize. Less than a month ago he was brandishing a hastily confected substitute, the FIFA peace prize. That act of self-abasement by world football’s governing body looks even more absurd now than it did when Trump grabbed the gold medal and put it around his own neck…”

This final quote, took the biscuit: “Trump’s apprehension over foreign wars seems to be waning. He was clearly thrilled by the drama of the Maduro operation, and the efficiency of the American soldiers who carried it out, declaring on Saturday he was “not afraid” of deploying ground forces in Venezuela to pursue his interests. For an ageing president, growing more petulant, irascible and incoherent with every day in office – facing diminishing popularity and desperate to distract attention from the Epstein child-trafficking scandal – a tightening embrace of military power is an ominous development…”

AGAIN, LET ME CITE REVELATION, CHAPTER 13, VERSE 4: “Who is able to make war with the ‘BEAST’???”

Well, #GuestWhat: The “MALEVOLENT GENIE” is out the bottle!!!

Critics, “HATERS” & “OTHERS” are now worried about their “RANTS” against Trumps & their social media “FIRE” posited against him & his “COLLAPSING IMPERIALIST EMPIRE”, as was seen regarding “NIGERIAN ISLAMIC CLERIC SHEIKH AHMAD GUMI” & his vitriolic post in recent months especially, given the US targeted strikes in Northern Nigeria against Islamic terrorists – where “INNOCENT” villagers died!!!

What is “LAUGHABLE”, is the “EUROPEAN UNION” dithering, side-stepping, slow dancing & obvious “SPIN” in the light of the US incursion into Venezuela & the “RIPPING-UP” of the rule book of international diplomacy & international law statutes – forcing many of them on to the back foot, as “LANCE GIBBS” would bowl an all-time “GOOGLEY” of historic proportions, down the barely turfed wicket of those who believe that they can “HOGTIE” mankind with chains & fetters!!!

What is so prophetic is how “THE MOST HIGH YAH” does not have 2 pick a fight with mankind – “HE ORCHESTRATES *EVIL* 2 DESTROY *EVIL* WITH SUCH CUNNING ALACRITY THAT MOST DO NOT WHAT HIT ‘EM!!!

Again, #StayTuned, we are into the #FirstNewWeek of a #YewYear in the #FirstDispensation of what is gonna’ prove to be the “UNDOING & UNRAVELLING”” of man’s created “DIABOLICAL SOCIOECONOMIC WORLD ORDER SYSTEM” – one strand at a time that will result in “UTTER COLLAPSE, UTTER DEVASTATION & UTTER ANNIHILATION” of all that men have ever “WORSHIPPED”!!!

  35. Do not compare Traore with the likes of Maduro for God’s sake. They are as different as night and day.

Traore from everything I have seen wants betterment for ALL his people. He is not a dictator seeking to enrich himself and his generals like Maduro was. From his road building expansion projects to the nationalisation of his mineral assets, so that his country benefits more from their sale, there is nothing this man has done that points to the likes of Maduro.

The growth of Singapore was also fathered by a dictator who operated without the blessing of elections. In the early 1960s Singapore had little, but it has grown into a financial powerhouse today. There is no doubt that what was done in Singapore has bettered the standard of living there for the masses as well.

In the case of Maduro he reduced the life of an average Venezuelan to that of a pauper. Basic essentials like sanitary napkins and aspirin were like gold dust for them to find. At the same time though the supermarkets for the chosen ones were full of ever item money could buy. While Venezuelans struggled to get a bus, the luxury car dealer in Venezuela were enjoying sales from the chosen ones.

For people who do not know what Venezuela was like under Maduro, seek out some of the Venezuelans living here and let them tell you the basic items they buy everymonth to send back home. For Venezuela and its people I wish them well going forward. Hopefully with the help of the USA they can get the oil fields going again and the supermarket shelves and pharmacies can again be well stocked. Let us hope for them that the days of there being 2 Venezuelas are over.

Who this offends that is a wunna problem not mine. LOL

“Your rant suggests that imperialists/hegemonists throughout history, call them what you want, will not pursue their narrow political interests. See the take down of Maduro for what it is. How is it different to the takedown of Gadhafi, Noriega or CIA operations to undermine Chavez, destabilize Guatemala etc?”

  37. @John A

You are drifting from the central point of concern, the USA did not invade and capture Maduro because he was a dictator, we have many examples elsewhere in the world where similar scenarios exist and are ignored.

    Invasion
It’s okay to invade people of colour with their sun burnt faces as they don’t have individual personalities and life stories to report about in news media when killed.
Will Trump cross the line and invade Greenland and/or Canada like Hitler invaded Poland to start another World War.

  39. @ David

I was speaking from another standpoint where other leaders who could also be seen as dictators acted in the best interest of their country and people.

As for Trump going after Maduro, let us be clear and understand the want to see Maduro off the stage started years ago. Remember it was Biden who placed the initial bounty on Maduro. It is laugable to hear the Democrats now jumping up, when it was Biden who laid the first reward of $15 million on Maduro and they all supported it.

We will see how his trial plays out for Narco trafficking and other charges. Hopefully the Venezuelan people will now see a better life. Trinidad and Guyana can now also breath easier knowing he is out of it. After all they are both Caricom countries surely our leaders should be happy for them? LOL

Oh before I forget let me gongragulate our PM for taking a page from Trumps book and implementing laws to deal with domestic terrorism against our local gunslinger.

  40. @ David

I would like people to take a few minutes and watch this documentary on Youtube that was done on Maduro well before all this occurred. It features the actual statements from all involved over the past few years of Maduro’s dictatorship. You will see the efforts the Venezuelan people made to get rid of him that proved uneventful, with one of his own people even taking him to the Hague Criminal Court.

Venezuela from the inside: politics, people, and power

  41. @John A

In this case it is about entering a sovereign country and kidnapping the president without the backing of law. In the others cases the blogmaster’s recall is that there was congressional approval? We must not muddy the arguments.

  42. @ David

Under section 2 of the US constitution he does not need congressional approval as was already outlined by the legal minds in the USA. Trump did what Biden and all them tried for years to do but failed. If Maduro is found innocent of narcotic trafficking and the other charges, well I will be the first to say Trump was wrong.

You forget Bush went to war for weapons of mass destruction that never existed? Where was Congress then when they should have said ” we are not convinced these weapons exist?” Time alone will tell the outcome of this. Based on the response of Venezuelans around the world I would say it was what it’s people wanted.

  43. @ John A

The use of that section of the constitution is under dispute by some legal experts.

  44. Baje

If Barbados or America, itself, was under 20 years of brutal sanctions and all kinds of circuitous methods had to be found to even get Covid medicines the social impacts would have been the same or worse. This can only be because a single country, until recently, controlled the the SWIFT system and the international reserve currency.

Indeed, the results of what Venezuela was subjected to for all these years are no different than Cuba, Iran, Syria, Sudán, Somalía and the the nearly 40 countries illegally sanctioned by the United States for years. For sanctions have always been illegal except those imposed by the UNSC.

And the exclusive power of any one country to impose illegal sanctions is one of the reasons that the planet has entered a World War Three sets of scenarios.

On the one hand, America seeks to maintain financial colonialism. While on the other the same countries sanctioned, and more, are building robust alternatives to the dollar and SWIFT as they seek freedom from American hegemonic control. Currently, there are several alternatives. Indeed, a long list of countries are starting to use these alternatives many the empire desperate.

It is precisely for this reason, meaning the breaking out of the American financial architecture, that wars on Iran, Venezuela are being considered. And other countries like India, Brazil, many Afrikan countries, Russia, China, even European countries, are being threatened.

Maybe, you could consider the broader or structural issues instead of the anecdotes mentally implanted by mainstream media.

  45. The emerging alternatives to SWIFT are more politically driven with penetration into the global transfer market slow at this point.

With the ‘confiscation’ and direct influence of Venezuela’s economy it means the USA has bolstered the importance of the petrodollar aka US dollar.
