It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of a cherished member of the BU family. His comments were always thoughtful, balanced, and informed – stripped of the hyperbole – especially at the height of the COVID-19 period , when his professional insight guided many of us through that uncertain time. His weekly analysis posted to BU’s Sidebar was very much appreciated,

Marcus Aurelius wrote, “It is not death that a man should fear, but never beginning to live.” He lived fully through service and sharing his wisdom to humankind.

Rest in peace, Brother Small aka ‘Are we there yet’.
