  • Even hydroxychloroquinone has side effects but it has been around and in use for decades.

    Tried and tested.

“Hydroxychloroquine may cause side effects. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away:
    headache.
    dizziness.
    loss of appetite.
    nausea.
    diarrhea.
    stomach pain.

  • The ‘vaccine” is not a vaccine. It is experimental gene therapy…New technology never before given to humans….Guinea pigs in the ongoing trials that due to end in 2023…Gene modification using MessengerRNA that will forever change your DNA. Moderna, the company, is shortened for Modified RNA…..All is available online for anyone to find…Few research for themselves. Once the patented technology is within your body, permanently, do you still own yourself? Patent = ownership.

If the above does not get you thinking critically, the perhaps the fact that a ‘vaccine’ was created in under 1 year when the usual time frame is a good 5 – 10 years…I mean, they skipped the animal trials for goodness sakes….And people want to put that Frankenstein cocktail in their body?????

One can’t be sure what is being given, re vaccine, to those in power….Just because they say they took it, and even if they show you on the ‘te lie vision’, you can’t be sure…They lie in case you’ve did not already know.

Few have eyes to see and ears to hear….

You have heard of technology moving on? You do realise that the above statement is untrue anyway, technically? The mechanisms in the various vaccines, being used to transport the active agents, have been worked on for years. They have been adapted for this virus.

However, your statement on the human DNA patent and owning ones body, is total hocus pocus legally. Pity that Amused is not around to voice his thought on that.

I cannot speak for him obviously, but suspect that after he has managed to stop laughing, he would put it right.

I think the vaccine is injecting dead Covid which enables body to build up resistance which sounds reasonably logical based on principle that people who have had Covid have built an immunity.

People may not have Covid but Countries do and Hospitals have many patients so it’s more about functioning at national levels.

  • Why can’t people just be REASONABLE?!

Critical Analyzer is right to question the efficacy and safety of the vaccine. It has been authorized for EMERGENGY USE because of the dire situation. Taking it must be a calculated risk. We must consider what is worse.

Since my son never leaves home now and I only do business twice a month, usually not at peak periods, I will be letting others go first. But I will probably take any vaccine offered eventually as it appears, at the very least, to stave off severe illness.

John Knox is also correct that it is mainly the co-morbidities that make this virus deadly. But these co-morbidities cannot be reversed overnight and some are too advanced to be reversed since the damage has already been done. He is also coldly correct in implying that survival of the physically fittest may benefit the country in some economical way by reducing our healthcare expenditure, for instance but that does not take into consideration what the physically “disabled” may contribute mentally and emotionally. That too has ramifications for our economy. No-one knows on which side the scale would come down. No-one can calculate the net value of these lives. Therefore all efforts must be made to preserve the lives of our mothers, fathers, grandmothers, grandfathers, aunties uncles and all vulnerable people. This includes the elderly as most in this category have reduced immune strength and co-morbidities. We cannot use the exception as the example. The odds seem to favour the vaccine for these people.

In the meantime, we ALL should eat healthy, get outdoors more in the daytime, exercise moderately and appropriately and if not allowed to work, take the time either to learn something new or upgrade our skills. This makes us feel less helpless and gives us less time to brood. It also makes us more useful and prepared for the future. And… helping those less fortunate also benefits us emotionally. That’s another thing we can do. We can also build community. That makes us ALL stronger!

Next, I think the authorities have acknowledged that early treatment is often critical. I don’t have a clue as to what therapeutics are safe and effective. I will leave that to the various experts. I am not going to argue on that. What would be the point?

Nothing wrong with putting the various theories out there but NOT ONE PERSON can speak with absolute authority. This is a new virus.

SO…. we should not be political here. The virus is apolitical.

What is so hard about being reasonable? I find it absolutely LIBERATING!

    Everyone should try it!

  • The fact that the Messenger RNA technology has been around has no bearing on the fact that it is not a vaccine nor does it change that it has never been used on humans before. This so-called vaccine does not work like the former vaccines…New technology never used and therefore they do not know what the long term effects will be. So yeah, wait until the trials are over…

The fraudsters have said, and you can find the information easily, even Fauci mentioned, that the vaccine will not prevent COVID. It will only minimize the symptoms. So….once you’re ‘vaccinated’ you can still get and pass on the virus…So…what is the point in getting the vaccine?

Tell me where is the cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease vaccines? How come they can’t produce one for these illnesses that have been around for decades upon decades yet they were able to create a vaccine for a this new type of virus?

This corona virus is very atypical…It lasts an entire year…even in the summer. Wow

Why don’t you look up the patent status for coronaviruses? Check out who owns what…The U.S. law supposedly prevents nature from being patented…Only man made organisms can be patented. So again…what is the coronavirus? Natural or man made?

You have yet to realize that mainstream media lies…..

“Why don’t you try to find out if the local “Closed Brethren” would be mixing to have themselves vaccinated against Covid-19”
I’m not understanding the logic….why would anyone force any religious group whose normal practice is to not accept “western medicine” to take a vaccine that is not mandatory. They normally accept the consequences of not taking medications and propose their alternatives to who they regard as “heathens” in the wider society.”
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

“DLP TV”, we are talking NOT about “logic” but the ‘illogicality’ of being ignorantly partisan by identifying a specific group of people for moral and political opprobrium.

A minority group which has been viewed as being on the fringe of the Bajan [backward[ society as demonstrated by the stupidity of Peter Wick Ham in his/her remonstration of that same ‘religious’ group whose mode of living is becoming more mainstream as clearly witnessed by the acceptance of the use of the marijuana plant as a medicine for the good maintenance and healing of the human body.

Why seek to demonize a specific group when there are other religious groups in Barbados which have ‘insulated’ themselves from the mainstream society on grounds similar to that of the Rastafarian community?

Why not also make reference, on the basis of being an equality rights campaigner, to the other ‘special’ religious communities who practise similar ‘isolation’ as part of the argument to counter what is perceived as an ‘’unscientific stance in the fight against the current pandemic?

And we are really relying on the ‘logical’ expectation that, you DLPTV, do not fall into such a myopic category of being unable to see the scientific approach to the vaccination forest from the Covid-infested tree of manmade religion(s).

It is interesting seeing the reaction of people to the Sars-Cov-2 (COVID-19) vaccines and vaccines in general. This is the normal skepticism people have to things they do not know anything of until they educate themselves of the object they are skeptical of. However and sometimes, even when people are being “educated”, they still have this fear because their minds are filled will fantastical lies that appeal to their sense of mysticism. Sometimes they don’t even develop that skepticism to things they should really have a fear of.
For example when a new drug is advertised, a whole pamphlet size list of side effects are rattled off, yet people still take these drugs with little skepticism, even less so when prescribed by a doctor. There is a surgeon’s general warning on most cigarettes and tobacco products stating that SMOKING KILLS but the tobacco industry is still one of the biggest money making industries selling a purely luxury product that is known to be carcinogenic.
The fact is that paracetamol, aspirin, voltaren, remdesivir, hydroxychloroquine, tobacco, alcoholic drinks etc . are comparatively MORE DANGEROUS to the human body than vaccines. As 555dubstreet stated, vaccines help develop an ACQUIRED IMMUNITY safer than if that acquired immunity came from being infected by the live virus. The WORST that can happen is that the immune system does not acquire that immunity and you become sick directly from the virus itself. Vaccine side effects are specific to individuals, and not as broad as drugs. This is why ALL the major pharmaceutical companies are developing VACCINES as opposed to DRUGS to combat the COVID-19 virus. They provide a safe targeted response to a specific pathogen using your own body’s defense mechanism using proven “technology”. It is also why PAHO and WHO are still endorsing the Oxford vaccine. It MAY provide a weaker response to the South African strain but it can still protect you from at least 1, and more likely multiple, strains of Sars-Cov-2. And due to the nature of COVID-19 every person WILL catch it in their lifetime (unless you live on some remote atoll and never had contact with any other civilization)

As to how come a vaccine could be developed in a year? I will use this analogy. A car company will release a 2019 model car. On further investigation, it MIGHT be very similar to the 2015 model to the extent that most of the parts are interchangeable. But what all cars have in common to the Ford Model T is that they all use an internal combustion engine and use pneumatic tyres, technology that is over a century old. Most modern vehicles cannot run without gasoline\diesel and\or tyres.
It is the same with COVID-19 and vaccines. Sars-Cov-2 is a new model coronavirus (novel coronavirus) but it is still a coronavirus. It might have more horsepower than SARS or MERS but it can be stopped using the same basic vaccine “technology” patented over a 100 years ago. I HIGHLY DOUBT any major pharmaceutical company will make and distribute an “intentionally” defective COVID-19 vaccine knowing the risk involved. The amount of media attention focused on this particular disease, the possible permanent damage to their “brand”. and initial competition with the other vaccines mean they risk loosing billions if they did so.

Yes, prescription drugs kill 100,000s of people in the U.S. each year. Remember Vioxx??? I know how it works. The money making system.

We have everything we need in terms of our immune system. We were created with all that we need. We don’t need vaccines to help us do anything. We simply need a clean, natural environment to maintain health. You know…..real non gmo, no pesticide(poison) food, clean water/air/soil. Have you ever researched the history of vaccines and germ theory? People get injected with flu vaccines, for generations now, when our bodies can fight the flu. Ever read what is in the vaccines? Quite a lot of toxic, poisonous stuff…I am sure one can google the vaccine insert and read it themselves…However, I know that few ever do any research. My soon to be 3 year old grandchild has never been vaccinated and is doing very well.

Re smoking cigarettes, ever read the research that was based upon? If smoking cigarettes causes lung cancer, how do non-smokers acquire that cancer? How come many long term smokers don’t get lung cancer? I am not supporting the smoking of cigarettes, I am simply asking if those who parrot these statements ever go and check the studies, the original data themselves to find out if what they are being told is true? Very few do. I have though for over 40 years and counting.

I’ve read all about COVID, SARS…etc. Fact is, and has been true up until this ‘vaccine’, that a SAFE ‘vaccine requires 5 – 10 years which includes animal trials. This new type of so-called vaccine is untested. Skipped animal safety trials which take years to complete before being given to humans. From manufacture in under 1 year straight to human trials….An experiment really. What could possibly go wrong????

Common sense isn’t so common anymore.

    RESTLESS AND HOMELESS SHOPLIFTER NABBED
Two days after the news of the closure of the Barbados Alliance to End Homelessness’ shelter due to discovery of a COVID-19 case, one of its clients appeared in court on a stealing charge.
Today Shawn Anthony Butcher, 35, told the court that he had been at the shelter since February last year. However, he said he left last week Wednesday (February 3) as he was still using drugs and felt “restless”. He is awaiting the results of his PCR test.
One of the places Butcher visited since leaving the centre was a Savings Plus supermarket. On February 11 Butcher went into the store and ended up being charged with stealing four packs of biscuits.
Prosecutor Victoria Taitt told the court that around 9:40 a.m., Butcher was kept under observation by security while in the supermarket. On entering the store, he made his way to the area which displayed the oreo biscuits. He then went to the back of the store where he was seen fidgeting with his pocket.
The security personnel approached him but Butcher managed to escape. The camera footage, in the store, showed Butcher putting the items in his pocket before leaving.
Butcher returned to the store around 2:45 p.m. the same day and was eventually detained by security. After police were informed, Butcher was interviewed and admitted stealing and eating the biscuits. He also told officers that he had stolen items previously and returned for more.
Addressing Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes, Butcher said he last appeared in court in 2018 for possession of cannabis. He told the court that he was sent to Verdun House in respect of that charge.
During his nine-month stay at the rehabilitation centre, he said he left “prematurely”- a month before.
When asked why he left, Butcher admitted that he was still using drugs.
“Why are you homeless?” Weekes questioned.
“Because of my problem with stealing Sir…my mum doesn’t want me home Sir,” he responded, adding that he and his mother were experiencing problems at home.
Butcher also said he had a cocaine problem and sought help from the Psychiatric Hospital.
“I sought to go to Psychiatric Hospital for help Sir and they told me that the situation has changed there since COVID was introduced and they don’t allow any walkins nor they don’t admit you for the detox programme anymore,” he explained as the magistrate commended how articulate he was.
The court heard that Butcher had attended one of the island’s top schools and had eight CXC’s and two A’ levels.
Butcher also revealed that he had been a part of the programme headed by Kemar Saffrey since last year.
“I had left the shelter last week Wednesday because as I said I was still using drugs and felt restless being in the shelter because you couldn’t come outside,” he told the court.
Butcher said he was tested on Monday along with other clients and staff of the shelter but he was not sure of the result. It was reported that a few clients had left the shelter after the testing.
The magistrate told the No. 1 District “A” Magistrates’ Court that he couldn’t have Butcher “roaming around” and remanded him until March 23 pending the court’s decision as well as his test results. The prison has quarantine facilities in place.

@Miller I actually listen to Peter Wickham response to the Rastas stance on Brass Tacks. And even though his response was VERY crass, many people would share his basic sentiment that Rastafarians would “do what they want to do”. I don’t think many people demonized Rastas now as compared to when the religion first appeared. I mean far more people accept parts of their lifestyle into everyday living now than before. Peter is a known atheist and doesn’t care if he expresses HIS OPINIONS in a crass manner, or if his opinion is “offensive”. Naturally one who strongly believes in one’s faith \ opinion would seek to “demonize” the other. The Rasta stance is just that, one stance/opinion on a subject. Jehovah Witnesses, Christians, Muslims, Jews, Closed Brethren have their stances it doesn’t not make them superior or inferior, it is just different. Over time religious groups modify and “modernize” their stances.
Rastafarians made their opinion on the COVID-19 vaccine public and it falls in line with their general opinion on “Western medicine”. Nobody is forcing any group bound by religion, gender, age, nationality to take any medication but I can guarantee you some people will “break ranks” from what is the “general opinion” within that group and do what is in their personal interest if a particular situation necessitates them to do so.

A very well argued and convincing piece in ‘interest’ of illumination and ‘science’.

But there is one element that ought to be ‘further’ highlighted.

The question the average layman might ask is:
If the vaccine is based on a ‘common’ formulary why are there so many ‘producers’ of a vaccine to fight Covid-19?

What has become of the concept “economies of scale”?

Why incur so much ‘fixed’ costs by so many different ‘manufacturers’ in different countries all of which have to be recouped (including an ongoing reward for their immeasurable efforts) from the poor taxpayers and ‘frightened’ consumers?

Isn’t this similar to the competition found among oil companies retailing the same basic petrol for the same ICE-powered vehicles but under a different brand name?

Commonsense and Science always override religious bigotry in the race for survival unless an outlier like the Jim Jones brand of brainwashing appears on the scene.

But from what one can garner, Peter Wickham is not a full-fledged atheist but an ‘agnostic’ or ‘indecisive’ atheist who takes great umbrage (quite rationally so) to the concept of the omnipotence and omniscience of the Jewish god called Yahweh or Jehovah Jireh or even “Jah”.

He, Wick Ham, on the other hand seems to have a leaning towards the Hinduism brand of religion(s) embracing, like the Greeks, a pantheon of gods and goddesses based on the concept of ‘poly-deism’.

Maybe Bajans, on the ‘circular’ reasoning of Wickham, should learn to embrace Shiva with his unbroken trident instead of holding on to a fast disappearing age of Yahweh through David through Yeshua through Muhammad.

National Media Pushes Vaccine Misinformation — Coroner’s Office Never Saw Hank Aaron’s Body

The Fulton County medical examiner said the coroner never saw Aaron’s body, much less conducted an examination. By implying that the Fulton County coroner conducted an autopsy, the New York Times and other media outlets deceived their readers.

    By Robert F Kennedy Jr.

    Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Late last month, the mainstream media attacked me in a regimented swarm “debunking” my quote in The Defender questioning whether Hank Aaron’s death might have been related to the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine he received 18 days earlier.

I never said that the Moderna shot caused Aaron’s death. I simply made the factual observation that “Aaron’s tragic death is part of a wave of suspicious deaths among elderly closely following administration of COVID vaccines.”

Among the apoplectic hive of “fact checkers” that condemned this statement as “misinformation” were Meet the Press, NBC, The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today, Chicago Tribune, Inside Edition and many more.

The Daily Beast headline summarized the media’s moral revulsion at my query: “RFK Jr. Stoops to New Low by Falsely Tying Hank Aaron’s Death to Vaccine.”

Shortly after this high-tech media lynching, Instagram permanently deplatformed my 800,000 follower account.

The New York Times, citing the Fulton County coroner’s office, assured the public that “the Covid vaccine did not kill Hank Aaron.” NBC’s national wire service reported that the Fulton County coroner declared that Aaron’s death was from “natural causes unrelated to the vaccine.”

Fact checkers falsely claimed the coroner exonerated the Moderna vaccine

Then once that person is in the gang their social media post and stance on the recent COVID crisis is totally in sync with that of the Government.” (BB Today)

It is obvious that my fair and balanced attitude is bearing fruit. Of course, we must vaccinate all residents. I know many vaccinated people, all of whom are doing very well and praise our dear Supreme Leader Mia Mottley as their savior. Anyone who speaks out against the AZ vaccine is acting unpatriotically and may be committing a crime under emergency legislation.

So if your neighbours criticise the vaccination campaign, you know what to do: report it to the public prosecutor’s office.

All of us are trying to put on our fortune teller hats but only the future knows whether the vaccine or any of the other measures will work or not.

What we do know for certain about the vaccine and this virus is
    1) Children have very little to no risk with this virus so they should be excluded from the vaccine.
    2) Long term vaccine side effects are unknown
    3) We can’t keep the country and economy on pause or increasing numbers of people will lose the roofs over their heads and their livelihoods spiraling them into the poverty hole.

Based on those above facts, One of Crusoe’s earlier comment is possibly the wisest comment on the way forward everyone should be able to agree on is:
    1) Exclude all persons under 18 from the vaccine
    2) Let all adults who want to take the vaccine register and prioritize distribution based on risk factors like number of comorbidities and age
    3) Stop isolating every positive case. Stop the mass testing and ONLY quarantine, test then isolate symptomatic people so they can be closely monitored until they no longer have symptoms.
    4) End the mask law, fully open up the country and let who wants to wear their mask or require it to enter their premises do so.

This is still supposed to be a free country where we take personal responsibility for us and our wards last time I checked.

    Crusoe February 12, 2021 2:57 AM

Based on the above, it is clear that there are many who do not think the vaccine is necessary. Therefore, the government needs to acquire and provide vaccine to all who want it, as soon as possible.

Then, open up everything fully and not shut back down at any cost. Who do not want the vaccine will then be able to see if their decision was right.

    Simples.

Alla wunna who not getting the vaccine agree? No one forcing it (except me and David pun John).

But everyone else who want it, should get. The faster to get back working , the better.

Problem solved, nuh lotta long talk.

Creating, testing and discovering the impact, i.e. results of testing, takes time. That is just the process. Again, if you are happy having a product with no quality assurance, for which processes were skipped and from which one cannot sue the manufacturer for adverse effects, injected in to your body good on you. Still does not change the facts.

The quoted material is very telling.

So the control group is getting a jab of meningitis…The control group will not be given a placebo…Interesting or at least it should be.

So what happens when the meningitis jab, in the control group, produces ill effect? How are the researchers possibly going to determine the effectiveness of the ‘vaccine’ if it is compared to results of a person injected with meningitis?

In the real vaccine process, the control group is given a placebo.

“The MenACWY vaccine is being used as an ‘active control’ vaccine in this study, to help us understand participants’ response to ChAdOx1 nCoV-19. The reason for using this vaccine, rather than a saline control, is because we expect to see some minor side effects from the ChAdOx1 nCOV-19 vaccine such as a sore arm, headache and fever. Saline does not cause any of these side effects. If participants were to receive only this vaccine or a saline control, and went on to develop side effects, they would be aware that they had received the new vaccine. It is critical for this study that participants remain blinded to whether or not they have received the vaccine, as, if they knew, this could affect their health behaviour in the community following vaccinatio, and may lead to a bias in the results of the study. “

My mother had to take the small pox vaccine when she traveled for the first time in 1971. When I started traveling I did not have to take it.

I decided to take the yellow fever vaccine once when it traveled to a place where there was a relatively minor chance of getting yellow fever. I didn’t want yellow fever messing with me since about 15% of people who get yellow fever develop serious illness that can lead to bleeding, shock, organ failure, and sometimes death.

I have not looked into the process by which the Small pox vaccine was created. I assume they followed the process. This new type of ‘vaccine’, gene therapy in reality, is not the same as conventional vaccines. Conventional vaccines do not impact DNA. They do not tamper with your genes, i,e, your DNA in any way. They do not modify you forever. One does not become a genetically modified organism with conventional vaccines,

I will deal only with your first link… here is text from the first link and it is clear that they do not take s firm position against the use of another vaccine. In fact it states “But there is a more generous argument to be made for administering the control group with a vaccine against meningitis: to give them something of value.”

The remainder of the first article
“So now we arrive at a particularly tricky example: a trial where, by all indications, a saline placebo should be used but is not. A team in the United Kingdom is conducting a trial of a new COVID-19 vaccine (charmingly called ChAdOx1 nCOV-19) and they are comparing it not to a saline injection but to a vaccine against meningitis. It has been reported as the only frontrunner for a COVID-19 vaccine that is not using a true placebo as a control. The World Health Organization’s expert panel on placebos used in vaccine trials does underscore the validity of using a different vaccine as a control (one whose safety is well characterized), but notes that it “may also be less acceptable to regulators or public health authorities and potentially delay approval or adoption of a new vaccine.” I reached out to the team conducting the UK trial and was told the reason they changed their mind from using a saline injection to using the meningitis vaccine was that saline injections don’t cause a sore arm, which might unwittingly reveal to the volunteers what group they are in. No soreness after the injection? You may have received a placebo, which could alter your behaviour and thus add a nasty variable to explain away the results of the trial.

This official explanation, however, is questionable. Injecting a saline solution into a muscle can be associated with side effects, as many vaccine trials have demonstrated. Also, comparing an experimental COVID-19 vaccine that has so far been shown to cause a fair amount of physical reactions (pain, fever) to a meningitis vaccine that can also cause these temporary side effects will certainly paint a kinder picture of the COVID vaccine. But there is a more generous argument to be made for administering the control group with a vaccine against meningitis: to give them something of value.

I wish the road to vaccine approval had clearer rules. What we are left with is a human system that has served us quite well in the past (with regards to vaccine safety and efficacy) but which is susceptible to excessive pressure. The bottom line is that, as far as COVID-19 vaccines are concerned, clinical trial data will be presented to regulatory authorities… but also to fellow scientists. And it will be scrutinized by good-faith researchers and by anti-vaccine activists alike. Only by interpreting the data in light of solid scientific judgment and not ideological denialism will we be able to make a sound decision”

I simply provided links to support my comment, a fact, about use of saline solution. I, at no time, referenced any other parts of the articles.
