If the late great Gladston Holder were alive he would take the opportunity to remind us that it does not matter who is elected to the White House, it the wealthiest families in the USA where the power is located- the Vanderbilts, Rockefellers et al. That said many will agree party colours aside, Trump’s legacy will be remembered as being one of the most bigoted and divisive.

Let it be no secret this blogmaster cannot wait to see the back of the man. He has disgraced the office of president of the USA and by extension the human race.

  2. @ Donna

Why bother? There isn’t anything you can do, if some people focus mainly on criticisms, insults, nitpicking and continually whining about what someone called them……… and promoting themselves as some ‘intellectual demigod.’

  17. Conservative paper fact-checks Trump campaign spokesperson after he posts ‘doctored’ front page

A top official for President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign shared a “doctored” newspaper front page Sunday in an effort to accuse the news media of calling the election incorrectly, leading the outlet to fact-check him on Twitter.

Trump campaign has asserted he won the election, despite outlets’ projections of a Biden win, and the president and his campaign have accused the news media of erroneously declaring Democrat Joe Biden the winner. Biden secured the 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency on Saturday.

The campaign’s communications director Tim Murtaugh posted a picture on Twitter of what he said was the front page of the conservative Washington Times declaring Democrat Al Gore the winner of the 2000 election instead of Republican George W. Bush.

“PRESIDENT GORE,” the headline supposedly read. Murtaugh, the campaign’s communications director, posted pictures of the alleged front page, plastered over a refrigerator and cabinets. The post read “greeting staff at @TeamTrump HQ this morning, a reminder that the media doesn’t select the president.”

There was just one problem – the Washington Times never printed a front page calling Gore the winner.

Those “health experts in the UK ” must be damn good to diagnose a patient without a conversation, without a review of his medical notes, without a conversation with the person’s previous health experts, all the while from 4,000 miles away.

Or are you making up things including “health experts” as usual?

  19. I would bet anything the real health expert Dr. GP does not think that way about Trump.

  28. @ Hal November 8, 2020 4:09 PM

I am curious. Do you remember the George Bush /Al Gore affair of 2000? Do you recollect that it took thirty-seven days before a court settlement was reached? I am trying to understand why the same is not being done in this case. The media back then waited for the court process to finish. The difference now is that the media want to dictate what people can think and are trying to influence them along a certain line. In my first post for some time, I alluded to the Orwellian nature of the proceedings censoring things that certain people disapproved of and remarked at how concern I was about it ,more so than about the out come of the election. You know, you were the only person to reflect and seemingly understand the import of my concerns. It seems that “BIG Brother” is taking control of our thoughts and actions.

  29. @ Roberts
I am sure you are familiar with the |BU predators by now. They prowl like hyenas looking for a kill. It is the psychology of the baying mob, and of people like yourself who can be analytical.
I too have had my detractors. One insane person called me a Roman Catholic, for no good reason; even though I have huge respect for the Roman Catholics, I am not one.
Another called me a Marxist, even though I pointed out I was not, she ( the person identified as a woman) kept on calling me a Marxist, a Halarxist, all kinds of names. Another called me a financial adviser, a polymath, an intellectual demigod, all kinds of weird nonsense. Previously he talked about hate and a liar and other such things. Others just use obscenities.
You get called names as a defence against the alternative of having to put forward a proper argument, which they are incapable of. You will notice that people who can just about write their names question your knowledge as a microbiologist. That is the Bajan Condition.
The lesson is do not become too familiar.

  30. @Dr. Lucas

You need to brush up on the history of what occurred in Florida with the hanging chad affair. It is incorrect to compare it to what is unfolding now.

  31. @Hal Austin November 8, 2020 6:20 PM. “You will notice that people who can just about write their names question your knowledge as a microbiologist.”

No. We do not question his knowledge as a microbiologist.

    We question his politics.

He can be perfectly right as a microbiologist.

And at the same time perfectly wrong in his politics.

  32. @Hal Austin November 8, 2020 5:50 PM “There is no Daily Mail newspapers on Sundays. There is the Mailonline, a different publication, or the Mail On Sunday.”

    The British nitpicker strikes again.

    Lol!

  33. @Hal Austin November 8, 2020 6:20 PM “I am sure you are familiar with the |BU predators by now. They prowl like hyenas looking for a kill. It is the psychology of the baying mob”

Oh dear. We have been demoted already. This didn’t take very long. No longer are we Bajans toddlers. We Bajans have become sub-human animals again:

    ONE: Predators
    TO: Prowlers
    THREE: Hyenas
    FOUR: Killers
    FIVE: We bay

All our native son Hal has to add is the hungry dingoes thingy.

  34. Wasn’t there also a pregnant chad…

too busy working to keep up at the time but am sure there was a pregnant chad…🤣🤣

  35. “@ Waru,
You have demoted “Dubstreet55” – BU’s resident DJ to the recycle bin! Bobbi Wine and Buju Banton performing life – what a marriage.”

things are moving, no more comfort zones.

  36. @WURA-War-on-U November 8, 2020 6:50 PM “Wasn’t there also a pregnant chad…”

No,no, no, Wura. Lol! It was a hanging chad, not a pregnant one.

  37. A woman is always the more practical thinker in these types of things, he can bluster all he wants, he knows the people have spoken and he don’t want them to pull up with a call to action.

  38. “It was a hanging chad, not a pregnant one.”

I didn’t hear about the dimpled chad but i remembered the hanging one and the pregnant one….that was 20 years ago….damn how time flies…lol

“In the 36 days that followed, Americans learned Gore had won the popular vote by 543,895 votes. But it’s winning the Electoral College that counts. As accusations of fraud and voter suppression, calls for recounts and the filing of lawsuits ensued, the terms “hanging chads,” “dimpled chads” and “pregnant chads” became part of the lexicon.”

  39. Look what is biting whom in their ass now…

    https://youtu.be/WhnbcAJWG_c

  40. Looks like the BU man lovers ran out of steam while the ones calling for fighting back may hust be fighting to stay out of prison…what a wonderful 2 months coming up…

“President Donald Trump’s inner circle is beginning to split over his ongoing refusal to accept the results of the 2020 election, as Jared Kushner and first lady Melania Trump advised him to come to terms with President-elect Joe Biden’s victory and his adult sons pressed him and allies to keep fighting.

Melania Trump et al. looking at the camera© Win McNamee/Tasos Katopodis/Getty Images
Kushner, the President’s son-in-law and senior adviser, has approached him to concede, two sources told CNN. The first lady, according to a separate source familiar with the conversations, has privately said the time has come for him to accept the election loss.

Meanwhile, Trump’s two adult sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, have urged allies to continue pressing on and they have pushed Republicans and supporters to publicly reject the results even as CNN and other news organizations projected the race for Biden on Saturday.”

  41. I remember calling someone a financial adviser, but I NEVER, EVER called anyone on BU a ‘polymath’ or an ‘intellectual demigod.’ So, on that note, I make no apologies in calling the individual who fabricated those things, a LIAR. They LIE consistently.

‘Speaking’ of being incapable of debating……… someone posted a contribution to BU, in which they mentioned remembering a time when Barbados was free of crime. I simply asked the individual to identify the year or period of time they were referring to.

Immediately after, a member of the ‘BU intelligentsia,’ came out uninvited, similarly to wild, rapid English bull-dog, frothing at the mouth, to inform the individual that he/she was “CORRECT, if crime was defined as the number of arrests and prosecutions and convictions.” It’s there on BU for all to read.

When REMINDED, the ‘cyber bully’ asked “who is the the idiot who said Barbados was crime free,” while informing BU “crime WAS WITH US SINCE the Garden of Eden,” as is evidenced by the “regular parade of handcuffed men walking in the court yard to appear before magistrates.”

They subsequently Googled and copied and pasted to BU, information from the ‘crime and justice.org.uk’ website, which was COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT to the ‘original discussion’………. and followed by the usual rants, abuse and personal attacks ( e.g. brain dead, silly, idiot, etc).
But, that’s to be expected. After all, if I may quote the experts, you’re called names as a defense against the alternative of having to put forward a proper argument, which the (abusers) are incapable of.

Could someone please help me understand how:
(a). presenting The Centre for Crime and Justice Studies’ definition of crime or,
(b). ‘saying’ “crime is a social construct,”
………… EXPLAIN someone remembering ‘a Barbados that was FREE of CRIME?’

What do they teach in UK schools?

  42. On reflection the world is full of shitty people like Trump and that is their racism white superiority manifesting,
there are many black copycats like the fools on BU who try to superior such as GP John Lucas who kowtow to whites and shit on other blacks the same way treating them like they are inferior.

Well that’s my two penny’s worth that you should think about when sizing up the creeps around you.

  43. So.. you have to stand up to all these bullies and put them in their place as all these bitches are little cowards and it blows their little minds when they are confronted back

    So, check your sources!!

You would think Sunday is a day too for the “Daily” Mail.

But seriously, did you know that Trump enjoyed more support from Catholics than did Biden?

    Evangelicals too.

Biden did do better than Hilary, probably because he was Catholic.

When do you think Bush become the President Elect in 2000, before the Court ruled or after?

  46. If it was after then you are correct there would be a major difference!!

  47. When was the court decision handed down? Did it occur before the electors of the electoral college was scheduled to meet?

  48. DavidNovember 8, 2020 9:02 PM

When was the court decision handed down? Did it occur before the electors of the electoral college was scheduled to meet?

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++

36 or 37 days after the election as noted above!!!!

  49. Same deadlines exist today.

Can Biden run around calling himself the “President Elect”?

    Is he really that senile?

Or is it just that all the world leaders are to dumb to realise the simple fact that he isn’t … yet!!
