Today, I thought it useful to examine Jesus’ parable:

“Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.

“But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared.  So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’

“The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’  But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them.  Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”  (Matthew 13:24-30)

What does this mean?  We can speculate and introduce unnecessary complexity.  However, it is better to let Jesus, who gave the parable, explain its meaning Himself.

“Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.”

“He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man.  The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one.  The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels.

“Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age.  The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire.  There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

“Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”  (Matt 13:36-43)

When we allow the Bible to explain itself, it can make a lot of sense.  The obvious question is, how do we know the tares from the righteous?  Jesus also provided an answer.

“Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit.  Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.  But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.  For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” (Matt 12:33-37)

Given Jesus’ warning, we should be careful of what we say/write, for we will be called to account.  The problem for the tares, is that they cannot stop speaking/writing evil things, “for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.”  Jesus explained this condition.

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.  You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?  Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.

“A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.  Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.  Therefore by their fruits you will know them.”  (Matt 7:15-20)

It is the believer’s duty to examine the words and actions of those who want to be their teachers.  Are they kind and helpful, or “ravenous”.  Jesus explained the end of the ravenous wolves who pretended to be sheep.

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.  Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’  And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”  (Matt 7:21-23)

We should all examine ourselves.  Are we practising love, kindness, helpfulness, or hate, rudeness and division?  We should try to change now, for later may be too late.

WHAT DO THESE CRACKS MEAN? (2012)
Visible cracks are a way that buildings communicate that they are under stress. However, not all cracks will lead to structural failure. If cracks are properly interpreted, then unnecessary remedial work can be avoided. The people who are best placed to notice building cracks are the building’s occupants. If an occupant does not understand the significance of a crack, then their response can range from unnecessary emotional distress over non-structural cracks, to an oblivious neglect of structural cracks. This is a practical guide to identify the importance of cracks in buildings.

  3. 10 Common Mistakes People Make When Reading Revelation
The book of Revelation is either the most exciting or the most frustrating book of the Bible to read. It can be exciting when you’re looking at prophecy fulfilled or frustrating when you’re confused about what is literal, what is symbolic, what is future and what is past. It can also be the most divisive book of the Bible because of differing views on interpretation.
Yet John, the writer of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, said “Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near” (Revelation 1:3, ESV).
How can you be blessed or happy when reading Revelation? When you avoid the common mistakes most people make when reading it – mistakes that can lead to confusion, fear, inaccurate predictions, disillusionment, paranoia, or end-of-the-world hype. Here are 10 common mistakes people make when reading Revelation.
    1. Failing to Start at the Beginning
When you read a story, would you start with the last chapter first? Yet this is what many people do when they read Revelation. They start at the back of the book, instead of starting at the beginning. The Bible is one book of 66 smaller books and the first part of the book (the Old Testament) sets the stage, introduces the characters, lays down the Law and provides the reasoning behind God’s judgment – and His deliverance – at the very end of the book. It’s common for readers of Revelation to ignore the cross references and not look at the context of the Old Testament passages that are quoted throughout Revelation. But there is a reason Revelation is filled with footnotes directing you to the beginning of the book – passages in Exodus, Deuteronomy, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel, just to name a few.
As you read Revelation, ask yourself “Why is John quoting Deuteronomy 32:43 in Revelation 6:10 and 19:2 when he talks about avenging the blood of His servants? Why is Jeremiah 3:1 quoted when John talks of the Prostitute or Great Harlot of Revelation 17:5-6? By going back to the beginning of the book and looking up passages quoted from the Old Testament you can arrive at Scriptural answers, rather than conjecture, when it comes to questions like “Who is the Harlot?” and other hotly-debated points.

    Forgetting the Original Audience
We tend to read the book of Revelation as if it’s written to Christians of 21st Century America so we can know what our future holds. Yet, the Revelation of Jesus Christ was a letter written “to the seven churches that are in Asia” (Revelation 1:4) to provide for them comfort in the midst of the persecution they were enduring and to strengthen them, as well as give them hope for what was soon to come.
So, every time you see the word “you” in a narrative, you must realize that “you” is not literally you. This letter written from prison to persecuted Christians in the First Century and delivered through the Roman Postal System used veiled language, at times (Revelation 13:18), that its direct recipients would fully understand. So, be a history buff. Brush up on what was happening in the First Century and why these words would be a comfort to them and why certain codes would be significant to them and quit trying to put yourself into the picture. There is room for application of God’s Word after you have first looked at what the text says by its original author to its original audience. The basic model of hermeneutics is to first ask What does the text say? Secondly, ask What does it mean, in light of who it was written to and the time at which it was written? The third and final question to ask is What does this mean to me and how I should live? Application is important, but keep first things first. Remember to whom it was written and read it through the eyes of a First Century persecuted Christian.
    Misunderstanding the Term “Last Days”
Christians today read about the “last days” and they get excited. They think in terms of Jenkins/LaHaye novels and Hollywood movies and immediately think “last days of the earth.” Again, if you start in the Old Testament, you will understand that most of the references to the “last days” – also referred to as “latter days” (KJV and NASB), and “days to come” (ESV, NIV and NASB) – are referring to the last days of the Old Covenant, not the last days of the world.
For example, in Acts 2:14-40, Peter starts his powerful sermon on the day the first Church was established by quoting Joel 2:28-32 in which he says “In the last days it shall be….” That wouldn’t exactly be a relevant sermon on Opening Day of the First Christian Church, if Peter was talking about the last days of the earth some 2,000 + years hence, would it? But when you realize that sermon is talking about the last days of the Old Covenant that God made with Israel, it suddenly makes sense that Peter would be letting the first Christians know that, indeed, the ending of the Old Covenant was finally upon them and the New Covenant was being ushered in. The New Covenant was with Jesus – the long-awaited Messiah – who had been killed and then raised from the dead and “God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you (remember the audience relevance?) crucified” (Acts 2:36). By the way, the term Old Testament and New Testament is another way of saying Old Covenant and New Covenant. Understand the meaning of the various uses of “last days” throughout the Bible and you’ll better understand Revelation.
Comparing Scripture with Headlines, Tweets, or Traditions
If you read Revelation and compare it with headlines on the evening news or in social media, you will have a completely skewed idea about what the book is about. Likewise, if you read it with the latest apocalyptic movie in mind, or the images in your head from the Left Behind series of novels, you will be reading into it what isn’t there.
Don’t compare Scripture with headlines or movies or even long-held beliefs going back to what you heard in Sunday School as a child. Compare Scripture with Scripture (both Old and New Testament Scriptures) and you will discover what is actually Scripture and what is merely conjecture, tradition, or hype from current events.
    Taking the Symbolic as Literal
Yes, you believe the Bible is literal. So do I. But certain portions of Revelation (and the Bible, for that matter) are meant to be symbolic, not literal. When John says “I saw a star fallen from heaven to earth, and he was given the key to the shaft of the bottomless pit” (Revelation 9:1) he obviously is not talking about a literal star falling from heaven and being handed a set of keys. That is a symbolic reference to Satan from Ezekiel 28.
Likewise, when John says in Revelation 9:16-17 that 200 million horsemen with heads like lions and fire and smoke and sulfur coming out of their mouths will line up in the Valley of Megiddo to kill a third of mankind, this is also symbolic of a massive battle but most likely not a literal 200 million horse-mounted demon-like soldiers akin to the machines in Terminator or Transformers! Know the difference between narrative, which is to be read literally, and portions of prophesy and apocalyptic language, which is to be read symbolically.

  4. Taking the Literal as Symbolic
You’re right, this process goes both ways. Some phrases are meant to be symbolic and not taken literally and some of the prophesy is meant to be read literally and not symbolically. For instance, the churches in Asia that John is writing to in Revelation 1:4 are seven real churches that existed at the time the letter was written. That doesn’t mean it was written to the seven “ages” of the church through the past two thousand years. Nor does it mean it was written to and about the seven “types” of churches or the different conditions of the church that exist in America or around the world today. While practical application can be made from the condition of the seven churches (such as the lukewarm Laodiceans), don’t make the mistake of making something literal completely symbolic.
Another example of this is in terms of numbers. When Revelation refers to a “thousand-year reign” is that a literal 1,000 years or is it symbolic of a very long time? Likewise, when John says the time is near (Revelation 1:3), and the events he has described “must soon take place” (Revelation 22:6), is that literally near and soon or symbolic for a distant date in the future? Know the difference between literal and symbolic and simile and metaphor when you read Revelation.
    Ignoring the Time References
This also becomes a literal vs. symbolic question. But it is significant that there are more than 100 time statements in the New Testament. Do you know the different Greek words/phrases used for “time” in each of these references? It takes research to demonstrate the differences and when you compare Scripture with Scripture, you will find that they progressively become more imminent the closer you get to the Book of Revelation. Since the letter was written to the First Century Church undergoing persecution, and they are being told the events are “near” and Jesus is quoted as saying “I am coming soon” (Revelation 20:20), there is an undeniable sense of imminence.
Again, in reading the time references, refer to the Old Testament cross references. For instance, in Daniel 8:26, the Prophet Daniel is told to “seal up the vision, for it refers to many days from now” and in Daniel 12:4 he is again told “shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end.” Daniel was to seal his prophecy because it wouldn’t come about for another 400-600 years. Yet in Revelation 22:10, John is told “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.” Did God think 400-600 years for Daniel was further away than 2,000-plus years for John? Or does “near” actually mean “near” and “far” actually mean “far”? The Bible doesn’t contradict itself, so that problem can be solved through a proper understanding of time references.
    Not Understanding “Apocalyptic Language”
Throughout the Bible “apocalyptic language” is used to describe the devastation of God’s wrath and judgment against his enemies. In Second Samuel 22, after God spared David’s life from the hand of King Saul, David penned a song about how “the earth reeled and rocked; the foundations of the heavens trembled and quaked, because (God) was angry. Smoke went up from his nostrils, and devouring fire from his mouth; glowing coals flamed forth from him” (verses 8-9). David is describing God as a fire-breathing dragon who “parted the heavens and came down” (verse 10) and laid bare the foundations of the world at the blast of breath from his nostrils (verse 16). But that is poetic imagery to describe God’s might and power, not a description of God as a literal dragon levelling the earth.
The same type of language is used by John, particularly in Revelation 6:12-14 when he says “The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.” John was using apocalyptic language similar to Jesus’ words in Matthew 24 when He was describing God’s judgment. This type of language is foreign to us, which can cause us to look at Revelation and expect literal events from the apocalyptic language. But the First Century Jews understood this language because they were familiar with the Old Testament Scriptures.
Trying to Put “America” into the Scriptures
If you’re like me, you might have grown up looking at the Bible egocentrically, believing we (and this country) are at the core of everything God is doing. That type of approach to Scripture causes us to scour Revelation to find out where America fits into all of it and that can cause people to inaccurately – and repeatedly — predict the “next date” the rapture will happen, and attribute national storms and disasters to fulfilled apocalyptic prophecy. But the United States wasn’t around when John wrote this vision to the First Century churches. So, you’re not going to find your President, your political party, or your country in the Book of Revelation. Taking into account audience relevance, it would’ve been meaningless to the First Century church for John to tell them what would happen a couple thousand years hence to all of us here in the USA. So, don’t waste your time trying to find out which president or world leader is “the Anti-Christ”– a term not even used in Revelation, but according to 1 John 4:3 is a spirit of rejection of Christ and was “in the world already” at the time John wrote the Book of Revelation.
We so want to believe we are “in the mix” and we will see these events in our lifetime that we convince ourselves we’re in there somewhere. In doing so, we fail to see Christ in the book and the vision of His glory.
Forgetting it is a Vision of Christ, Not a ‘Topic of Debate’
Imagine having a dream or vision so vivid, so inexplicably glorious that you have a difficult time describing it in detail to others. John’s vision of the Revelation of Jesus Christ was something unlike anything he’d ever seen or imagined. He was no doubt at a loss for words in how to describe the glorified Christ’s presence as evidenced in phrases like “His eyes were like a flame of fire, his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar of many waters” (Revelation 1: 14-15, emphasis added). John was given a peek into the spiritual realm to see what no man has seen before. Thus, in his limited vocabulary and human existence, he did his best, with the inspiration of God, to give us a glimpse of heaven.
If you don’t fully understand the Book of Revelation, you’re certainly not alone. Its interpretation has been debated by Bible scholars for centuries. But rather than allow it to become a book of divisiveness, ask the Holy Spirit for His guidance as you look at Scripture and read the book for what it is – a book of worship and the Revelation of Jesus Christ – rather than a book of argument or debate. Whether you find yourself an amillenialist, premillennialist, or post-millenialist, and whether or not you subscribe to the pre-trib, mid-trib or post-trib view, make sure what you believe is grounded in what Scripture says, not what everyone else is saying or guessing.

HAVE YOU EVER READ JOHN CHAPTER 8

8 Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.

2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.

3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,

4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.

5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?

6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.

7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

15 And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?

16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

20 The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee?

21 Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel.

22 Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man.

  8. The complicated connection between dairy and prostate cancer

The connection between dairy and prostate cancer
Dairy marketing has long convinced many of us that drinking a lot of milk is the express lane to strong bones. We’ve told that “milk does a body good.”

Turns out, that may not only be false but a downright dangerous statement that’s luring thousands of men to their early deaths.

Prostate cancer, which affects roughly 175,000 men in the United States each year, is the second leading cause of cancer death in men.

And like many cancers, diet plays a major role in the development of prostate cancer…

Researchers recently combed through the published data on the connections between diet and prostate cancer. The data revealed that dairy, more than other animal-based foods, is associated with an increased risk of prostate cancer.

And, conversely, a plant-based diet was associated with either an unchanged or a decreased risk of prostate cancer.

As this was a review of the scientific literature and not an individual study, the researchers offered no conclusions as to why this might be.

But another study, this one published in the July 2019 issue of the journal Nutrients, stated that “milk intake may increase proliferation [spread] of cancer cells through elevated insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-1), which is linked to an increased risk of prostate cancer.”

The data is there: too much milk and cheese can increase a man’s risk of prostate cancer. But not all dairy is created equal, as far as prostate cancer risk goes…

The one kind of dairy that’s good for reducing prostate cancer risk
Research shows that eating fermented dairy products, such as yogurt, Greek yogurt, sour cream, kefir and the like, could actually lower the risk of prostate cancer.

Fermented dairy is milk or cream that has been cultured using bacterial strains like Lactobacillus. Some products, like kefir, are fermented with both bacterial strains and yeast, like you would use to make bread or beer.

Fermentation adds probiotics, good bacteria that benefit your gut health, to the milk or cream. Having a well-balanced gut microbiome (i.e., lots of positive bacteria and little toxic bacteria) has been shown to reduce the risk of many kinds of cancer, including prostate.

Alternate sources of calcium and protein are less risky than dairy
Calcium is essential. Your body needs it to build strong bones, maintain a strong heart, and keep nerves and muscles healthy. Most people need between 1,000 and 1,200 mg a day.

While it’s true cow’s milk has calcium, it is NOT necessarily the best source of this essential mineral. Here are just a few non-dairy foods that are high in calcium:

Seeds like chia, flaxseeds, poppy, and sesame seeds
Leafy greens like spinach, kale and collard greens
    Beans, peas, and lentils
    Sardines and salmon
    Brazil nuts
    Almonds
    Rhubarb
    Figs
A lot of these foods are also high in protein, so you’re not sacrificing anything by getting your calcium from non-dairy sources. Plus, they have omega-3 fatty acids, which promote heart and eye health, positive moods and soothe inflamed joints.

If you, or the men in your life, are drinking a lot of milk and eating a lot of cheese, it might be helpful to eat more greens, nuts, and fish. If possible.

You’ll get the protein and nutrients that do a body good, without an increased cancer risk.

  10. 5 foods that give you prostate cancer

No man likes to read about how everything he loves to eat is going to give him cancer.

That being said, there are a few everyday foods that when eaten regularly could increase your risk for prostate cancer.

While some risk factors for prostate cancer are out of your control (such as genetics, race, and family history), what you put in your body is completely under your control.

You may be shocked to learn about the following five foods that give your prostate cancer.

    Red and processed meat

Red meat and processed meat is among the 10 worst foods for men, which is difficult for men to accept because these foods are very popular. Men who eat red meat the most often are 12 percent more likely to develop prostate cancer compared to men who eat the least amount of red meat. And the men who eat the most meat are 33 percent more likely to have advanced forms of prostate cancer. (Sinha 2009)

Processed meat includes deli meats (like bologna) and bacon. Many deli meats are from animals that have been injected with growth hormones, given antibiotics and living in diseased living conditions. Many processed meats have dyes, chemicals and sodium nitrate. Nitrites have been linked with certain cancers. The preservatives in the processed meats are associated with an increased prostate cancer risk.

    Well-done meat

As if meat was not bad enough for your prostate, eating it well-done makes the health risks even worse. Charred meat has cancer-causing compounds that may increase the risk of prostate cancer. When you cook meat at very high temperatures, compounds linked to cancer are formed. The riskier cooking methods include grilling, broiling and searing.

    Fried foods

Who doesn’t love French fries, chips, and doughnuts? Well, your waistline and your prostate don’t. These unhealthful foods have no nutritional value and contain a possible carcinogen called acrylamide. Acrylamide is formed by an amino acid that is formed during high-temperature cooking. These foods are also high in calories, which can lead to weight gain. Obesity is another high-risk factor for prostate cancer. Instead of these foods, choose nutritious, whole foods that are among the best foods for prostate health.

    Bread
This may come as a shock: Bread is bad for your prostate health. It seems so harmless, but white-flour products like bread, pancakes and crackers can cause inflammation in the body. Plus, there is an additive to bread called potassium bromate. Food experts are concerned about potassium bromate because it has been found to cause cancer in animals and is known to be toxic in human cells. One natural treatment recommended for men dealing with prostate problems and pelvic pain is a wheat-free diet.

    Dairy
Milk and other dairy products can contribute to prostate cancer in several ways. According to one report, drinking large quantities of milk or eating a lot of dairy products may increase cell proliferation in the prostate. This can lead to prostate cancer.

The hormones in dairy can also lead to prostate cancer. Dairy products (and meat) contain a hormone called insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1) that may increase a man’s risk for prostate cancer. Studies show that men with high IGF-1 blood levels are up to 40 percent more likely to develop prostate cancer when compared to men with low IGF-1 levels.

If you cannot do without some dairy, choose fat-free or low-fat options, because drinking high-fat whole milk has been found to increase a man’s risk of progressing to fatal prostate cancer. Choose organic milk, which does not include synthetic hormones. Also, if you really are trying to cut dairy out of your diet, it is a good idea to read labels of your medicines and supplements. If you are shopping for prostate supplements, choose a dairy-free prostate supplement.

    Diet and prostate health

If you are concerned about your prostate health and preventing prostate cancer, there are many other lifestyle and dietary changes you can make. Be aware of the other foods to avoid over 40 as well as the best foods for prostate health. Instead of eating meat every night, experiment with adding some plant-based proteins and fish to your diet. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables, opting for organic when possible to reduce your pesticide exposure.

If you already have been diagnosed with prostate cancer you are probably interested in the best diet during cancer treatment. This involves eating a lot of cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, kale, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts. It is also important to regularly consume a significant amount of natural cancer killers that have been found to reduce the risk of prostate cancer such as cayenne pepper, green tea, tomatoes, pomegranate, vitamin D and more.

Whether you are trying to prevent prostate cancer or keep it from returning, knowing what foods to avoid and what foods to eat can help you lower your risk factors. In addition to a healthful diet, it is important to exercise regularly and watch your weight, as these will also help in fighting prostate cancer and managing other prostate conditions.

  13. 12 natural prostate cancer killers

Prevention and inhibition of prostate cancer can include a number of lifestyle actions, and one that men can engage in several times a day involves making certain food and supplement choices. More specifically, there are various nutrients that have been shown to be effective in protecting against prostate cancer and inhibiting its development or progression. Here are 12 natural prostate cancer killers you should include in your diet or supplement program.

AHCC. Active hexose correlated compound (AHCC) is a proprietary medicinal mushroom extract consisting of several species of Basidiomycete mushrooms, including shiitake. This supplement, which is marketed primarily for people who have cancer, was developed and mainly researched in Japan. In a study of AHCC in early stage prostate cancer, use of the supplement was associated with prolonged PSA doubling time. A case study of a man with castration-resistant prostate cancer showed an “excellent serologic response to AHCC,” suggesting the supplement may be beneficial against this form of prostate cancer.

The producer of AHCC recommends taking 1 gram daily for general maintenance of the immune system and 3 grams for specific conditions.

Cayenne. Chili peppers, aka cayenne peppers (Capsicum annuum) are a source of capsaicin, a substance that not only provides the hot, spicy trademark of these vegetables but possesses prostate cancer killing properties as well. In a recent study from Spain, researchers showed that capsaicin induced the death of prostate cancer cells. More specifically, capsaicin increased factors involved with autophagy, the natural destructive process of cells that takes apart dysfunctional components. A previous study from UCLA School of Medicine reported that capsaicin inhibited the growth of prostate cancer cells.

Cayenne powder is an effective way to take this supplement. You should begin with a small amount (1/8 teaspoon) mixed in water taken two to three times daily and increased slowly. Consult with your healthcare provider before beginning cayenne supplements.

Cruciferous vegetables and DIM. The wealth of variety in the cruciferous vegetable category makes eating these prostate cancer killers an easy habit to adopt. The broccoli, kale, cauliflower, Brussel sprouts, and other members of this group are rich in a phytochemical known as DIM (3,3’-diindolylmethane). DIM has been shown to be effective in inhibiting an enzyme involved in prostate cancer cell growth and cell suicide (apoptosis) while not impacting healthy cells. Cruciferous vegetables also harbor indole-3-carbinol (I3C), a phytochemical that protects DNA from damage, promotes apoptosis, and prevents growth of cancer cells. (24, 18, 20-23) If you choose to use DIM and I3C supplements, recommended dosages are 14 mg DIM and 80 t0 160 mg for I3C.

Curcumin. This bioactive ingredient found in the spice turmeric has been widely studied for its anticancer properties. Curcumin has been shown to fight prostate cancer on several fronts. For example, it induces cell death, reduces expression of receptors for sex hormones (which interferes with cancer growth), and inhibits the spread of cancer cells. Recent research published in the International Journal of Oncology noted that curcumin was effective in fighting cancer-associated fibroblasts, which are key in the malignant progression of cancer.

Use curcumin liberally in your food, including soups and stews, on vegetables and grains, and in smoothies. As a supplement, consider taking a highly absorbable form of curcumin as directed on the package.

Ginger. It’s only been a few years since researchers discovered that whole ginger extract can be helpful in the management of prostate cancer. In that important study, scientists observed that ginger inhibited cancer cell growth and tumor growth, promoted apoptosis, and inhibited cell life progression (cell cycling) in mice. Numerous subsequent studies have supported these findings, including a University of Texas at Austin study in which a team demonstrated how 6-shogaol, a potent compound in ginger, reduced survival, inhibited tumor growth, and induced cell suicide in both human and mouse prostate cancer cells.

Thus far there’s no decision about an effective dosage of ginger for men who want to help prevent prostate cancer. Based on what has been shown to be effective in mice, 648 mg per day may be suggested for a 176-pound man (8.1 mg per 2.2 lb).

Green tea. The polyphenols in green tea known as catechins inhibit the growth of cancer cells in the prostate, as demonstrated in both laboratory and human studies. For example, one trial showed that catechins in green tea were 90 percent effective in preventing prostate cancer in men who had pre-malignant lesions. (45) The men in the study took 200 mg of green tea catechins three times daily for one year. Numerous laboratory studies have pointed to the benefits of green tea and its catechins in prostate cancer, including a University of Toledo (Ohio) study in which the main catechin in green tea, epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), was noted to “provide protective effects against inflammation in the prostate and benefit prostate cancer treatment.”

The amount of EGCG in each cup of green tea can vary greatly depending on the brand, form of the tea, how you prepare it, where it was grown, and so on. You may get as much as 180 mg EGCG per cup, but don’t always count on it. Supplements for prostate health may be a better option if you don’t want to brew the natural tea.

Modified citrus pectin. Most plants, and especially citrus, have the complex fiber known as pectin. To improve the bioavailability of citrus pectin, scientists developed a modified version, which makes it highly water-soluble and able to attach itself to certain molecules that can inhibit cancer cells. In addition, a small study indicated that modified citrus pectin can increase the prostate-specific antigen (PSA) doubling time in men with prostate cancer who did not respond to localized treatment. Seven of 10 men in the study experienced the increase after taking modified citrus pectin for 12 months.

Modified citrus pectin supplements should be taken without food. A suggested dosage is 5 to 15 grams per day.

Omega-3. You may recognize cold water fish such as sardines, herring, salmon, and tuna as great good sources of omega-3 fatty acids, but did you know that these fats (especially eicosapentaenoic acid [EPA] and docosahexaenoic acid [DHA]) may be associated with a lower risk of developing prostate cancer? That was the finding of a New Zealand study involving 317 prostate cancer cases and 480 healthy controls, although not all studies of omega-3 and cancer have come to the same conclusion. Although research findings are conflicting, a recent Canadian review reported there may be an association between higher intake of omega-3 fatty acids and reduced prostate cancer mortality.

To take advantage of the cancer-fighting powers of omega-3s, you need to eat several servings of cold water fatty fish every week. You also can consider taking a high-quality fish oil supplement that delivers at least 700 mg of EPA and 500 mg of DHA daily.

Pomegranate. The pomegranate may be a challenging fruit to break into and eat, but it also has shown a tough side when it comes to fighting prostate cancer. A University of California Riverside review pointed out that pomegranate juice and extracts have been shown to significant interfere with the growth of prostate cancer cells in the cultures as well as in animals. Three components found in the fruit — ellagic acid, luteolin, and punicic acid — have demonstrated an ability to inhibit the growth and spread of cancer. In men with prostate cancer, pomegranate juice and extract were able to extend PSA doubling time.

Many men find it easier to enjoy pomegranate as a juice, although you should limit your intake because of its high sugar content. Pomegranate extracts standardized for punicalagins (a bioactive ingredient) are readily available. Suggested dosage for prevention of prostate cancer is 80 to 120 mg daily.

Quercetin. Fruits, vegetables, and flowers can thank the plant pigment quercetin for their colors. Studies of this flavonoid, which has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, have focused on laboratory and animal studies and thus far have uncovered its ability to reduce the growth of prostate cancer cells and put the brakes on substances called oncogenes, which can transform normal cells into tumor cells. Experiments using human prostate cancer cells have revealed that quercetin can induce DNA damage and the death of these cells.

Quercetin supplements are available as pills and capsules and frequently are combined with bromelain, another natural anti-inflammatory. A suggested dosage is 500 mg daily for preventive purposes and at least twice that amount as a complementary prostate cancer dose.

Resveratrol. You likely recognize resveratrol as the antioxidant found in red wine and red grapes and a supplement lauded for its antiaging qualities. But resveratrol also has demonstrated cancer-fighting abilities, particularly in the lab using human prostate cancer cells and in animal studies. In an early study, resveratrol was named as the most potent of four wine polyphenols against prostate cancer cells. Numerous subsequent studies have shown that resveratrol can inhibit prostate cancer progression, protect DNA, fight inflammation and free radicals, and reduce tumor development and volume.

Resveratrol supplements are available, but be sure to look for pure resveratrol. The suggested dosage is 20 to 250 mg daily.

Vitamin D. Cancer is caused by genetic mutations, so it makes sense to prevent such cell damage. Vitamin D is a substance that have an impact on at least 200 human genes that are involved in regulating cell proliferation, development, and apoptosis. Numerous studies have shown that vitamin D status has a direct effect on cancer risk. Men who have higher levels of vitamin D, for example have a lower risk of deadly prostate cancer. (25,26) Vitamin D is best obtained via exposure to sunlight and supplementation. Men should have their blood level of vitamin D checked and take steps to keep it within a healthy range of 50 to 80 nanograms per milliliter (ng/mL).

  16. IN JOHN CHAPTER 8 SOME RELIGIOUS RELIGIOUS LEADERS ( LIKE YOU, GPII, FREEDOM CRIER AND MANY HERE ON BU IN THE PAST) BROUGHT A WOMAN TO JESUS WHO HAD ALLEGEDLY BEEN CAUGHT IN THE VERY ACT OF ADULTERY —-ALL BY HERSELF IT SEEMS……..BECAUSE THEY DID NOT ALSO BRING THE MAN ALSO AS WAS REQUIRED BY THE LAW THAT THEY WERE CITING.

THEY THOUGHT THAT THEY HAD JESUS ON THE HORNS OF A DILEMMA

IF HE AGREED WITH THEM TO HAVE HER STONED, THEN HE WAS NOT DISPLAYING COMPASSION
IF HE DID NOT AGREE WITH THEM TO HAVE HER STONED, THEN HE WAS GUILTY OF BREAKING THE LAW THEY CITED, AND WHICH THEY WERE ABUSING, BECAUSE THEY DID NOT ALSO BRING THE MAN ALSO AS WAS REQUIRED BY THE LAW THAT THEY WERE CITING.

THEY WERE NOT JUDGING RIGHTEOUS JUDGEMENT AS REQUIRED BY THE TENET OF JOHN 7:24

SO IN JOHN 8:7 THE REAL RIGHTEOUS JUDGE SAID THUS

So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

  19. Dear All:

Since Jesus will judge us at the end of the age, it is important to understand how He will judge us, so that we can make the necessary modifications now. However, Jesus explained that there are some who are incapable of making such modifications. You will know them by their bad fruit (including their ravenous words).

Jesus showed that these pretenders, who were actually deceiving themselves, were generally persons who were religious. Their aim was to distract people away from the simplicity of a relationship with God, into something complicated, burdensome and offensive.

It is useful to see how Jesus dealt with such religious people.

“You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” (John 8:44)

    He also explained their end.

“Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers’ guilt. Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell?” (Matthew 23:32-33)

So how should Christians respond to such haters? Let us see what Jesus instructed.

“A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household! Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.” (Matt 12:24-26)

So we should expect their hate, and not fear the haters. Jesus Himself will sort them out. As representatives of Christ, we should consistently behave properly; otherwise, we open the temptation to unbelievers to speak irreverently of God, our Father.

  20. Hi Forty:

Agreed. It is profound. It is also the way to grow efficiently as a human beings.

The Bible suggests that we are training while we are on this earth. There are responsibilities that we will receive following this life, and Matthew 5 to 7 is like a training manual.

Jesus explained that all of the teachings that religious leaders have complicated can be summarized as – love God with everything you have, and love your neighbour (including those in desperate need) as you would love yourself.

  21. GP:

Re: John 8 on the woman caught in adultery.

Please note that the religious leaders were trying to get Jesus to say something in conflict with Moses’ law, so that they could accuse Him. Jesus refused, and instead demonstrated His superior wisdom.

Jesus commonly demonstrated this superior wisdom. For example, the fellow who tried to justify not investing his talent, Jesus explained that he should have banked the money.

This seems to be done to show us that we should not waste our time thinking of excuses to tell Jesus, at the end of the age, why we behaved so badly, or irresponsibly while on the Earth. We will have give an account of every idle word we have spoken. So we should try to consistently improve.

After the woman’s accusers left, Jesus told her: “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” (John 8:11b)

  22. RE Since Jesus will judge us at the end of the age, it is important to understand how He will judge us, so that we can make the necessary modifications now.

RE However, Jesus explained that there are some who are incapable of making such modifications.
WHERE DID HE SAY that there are some who are incapable of making such modifications.

RE You will know them by their bad fruit (including their ravenous words).

BAD FRUIT IS ALSO SAYING WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR FROM ELECTORS THAT THEY DO NOT REALLY MEAN. BAD FRUIT IS ALSO SAYING LIES

Jesus showed that these pretenders, who were actually deceiving themselves, were generally persons who were religious. Their aim was to distract people away from the simplicity of a relationship with God, into something complicated, burdensome and offensive.
NO WE WANT TO EXPOSE YOU TO THE ELECTORATE.

RE It is useful to see how Jesus dealt with such religious people.
“You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” (John 8:44)

YOU WILL NOTE THAT THESE WERE THE SAME PEOPLE WHO WERE JUDGING THE WOMAN WHO HAD APPARENTLY COMMITED ADULTERY BY HERSELF.

LIKE YOU THEY WERE NOT JUDGING RIGHTEOUS JUDGEMENT THEY WERE JUDGING BY THE APPEARANCE

RE He also explained their end. BECAUSE IT IS HIS PROBLEM AND PREROGATIVE NOT YOURS
YOU ARE A SINNER LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE GRANVILLE
YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS IS LIKE THAT OF THE PHARISEES GRANVILLE

“Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers’ guilt. Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell?” (Matthew 23:32-33)

JESUS, AS THE JUDGE COULD SAY SO, BUT YOU ARE NOT A JUDGE AND RULER OF ANY ONE EXCEPT YOUR HOUSEHOLD AND WORKERS, AND YOU WILL NOT BE THE JUDGE AT EITHER THE JUDGEMENT SEAT OF CHRIST. OR THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT. UH LIE?

YOU ARE A SEEKER OF PROMINENCE IN BARBADOS NOT JESUS THE JUDGE

So how should Christians respond to such haters? Let us see what Jesus instructed.
“A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household! Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.” (Matt 12:24-26)

RE So we should expect their hate, and not fear the haters.
I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH HATERS ON BU FOR OVER 10 YEARS AND I EXPECT THAT Jesus Himself will sort them out.
NO ONE HATES YOU. WE JUST DON’T WANT YOU TO RUN THE COUNTRY AND IT IS OUR RIGHT TO SAY SO GRENVILLE FIILIPS!

RE As representatives of Christ, we should consistently behave properly; otherwise, we open the temptation to unbelievers to speak irreverently of God, our Father.
BU BRIMBLERS BARKERS AND BRAYERS speak irreverently of God, our Father REGULARLY. FOR YEARS I HAVE NEVER HEARD YOU CALL THEM OUT.

IS IT BECAUSE THEY DO NOT EXPRESS A DESIRE TO NEVER SEE YOU IN THE HOUSE OF ASSEMLY OR RUN THE GOVERNMENT?

YOU SOUND LIKE THE MINISTER WHO THROWS WORDS FROM THE PULPIT

  23. RE Please note that the religious leaders were trying to get Jesus to say something in conflict with Moses’ law, so that they could accuse Him. Jesus refused, and instead demonstrated His superior wisdom.

  26. Happy Guy Fawkes Day

Remember, remember the Fifth of November,
    The Gunpowder Treason and Plot,
    I know of no reason
    Why the Gunpowder Treason.
    Should ever be forgot.

Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes, ’twas his intent
To blow up the King and Parli’ment.
    Three-score barrels of powder below
    To prove old England’s overthrow;

By God’s mercy he was catch’d
With a dark lantern and burning match.
Hulloa boys, hulloa boys, let the bells ring.
Hulloa boys, hulloa boys, God save the King!
    –Traditional English nursery rhyme

Today is November 5, which means that it’s Guy Fawkes Day.
It doesn’t get a lot of press on this side of the Atlantic, and that’s really a shame. It’s the day that the English remember one of their most notorious villains — or one of their most celebrated heroes. It all depends on the celebrant.
In the early hours of November 5, 1605, Fawkes was found hiding under the House of Lords with a cache of gunpowder large enough to level the building. He had planned to take out the entire English government — king, ministers, members of parliament and all — during the State Opening of Parliament.
Or, as I like to call it, he planned to aggressively cut government spending!
Alas, one of his co-conspirators ratted him out.
Fawkes was captured and brutally tortured for two days. Though prior to his execution, he did manage to get the final laugh by jumping off the hanging platform and breaking his own neck, thus denying the king the pleasure of doing so.
Though ultimately unsuccessful in the gunpowder plot, Fawkes is remembered, in typical dry English humor, as “the last man to enter parliament with honest intentions.”
Today, the English celebrate Guy Fawkes Night with fireworks displays and by burning effigies of Fawkes or of contemporary political figures… but it’s always a little ambiguous as to whether they’re celebrating the foiling of the gunpowder plot or the spirit of rebellion behind it.

WHO MADE GRENVILLE A DETERMINANT OF WHAT IS AN IDLE WORD HERE?
ARE IDLE WORDS THOSE THAT SAY HE AND SOLUTIONS HAVE NO SOLUTIONS FOR BARBADOS?

RE Given Jesus’ warning, we should be careful of what we say/write, for we will be called to account.

ARE YOU SAYING THAT GOD WILL CALL ME TO ACCOUNT FOR SAYING THAT YOU AND SOLUTIONS HAVE NO SOLUTIONS FOR BARBADOS?

ARE YOU SAYING THAT speaking/writing evil things IS SAYINGTHAT YOU AND SOLUTIONS HAVE NO SOLUTIONS FOR BARBADOS? YOU ARE DRIVING ME TO TEARS OF LAUGHTER SIR

    RE Jesus explained this condition.

I DON’T OWN OR WEAR ANY sheep’s clothing SIR, NOR AM I A false prophet BUT I SINCERELY BELIEVE THAT YOU AND SOLUTIONS HAVE NO SOLUTIONS FOR BARBADOS

RE It is the believer’s duty to examine the words and actions of those who want to be their teachers. Are they kind and helpful, or “ravenous”.

IS “ravenous” SAYING THAT BUT I SINCERELY BELIEVE THAT YOU AND SOLUTIONS HAVE NO SOLUTIONS FOR BARBADOS
    .

RE Jesus explained the end of the ravenous wolves who pretended to be sheep.

“ARE YOU GETTING MEMBERS OF YOU PARTY OR CHURCH INVOLVED IN CLEANING UP THE GARBAGE IN ANY AREA OF BARBADOS AS THAT GUY DID IN BALTIMORE RECENTLY

CAN YOU MR ONE MAN SOLUTIONS PARTY GIVE US ANY REASONABLE PRACTICAL SOLUTION TO ANY CURRENT PROBLEM IN BARBADOS?”
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Yahweh and his opposite number Satan in the tag team of go(o)d versus (d)evil must be loving it to bits when the two field marshals in the war of religion square off in the battle over control of the land of hypocrisy.

Why should the G P No.2 dirty his hands in the collection of garbage when he can simply spew it on BU like the venom from a king cobra called ISO 9001 etc?

When we see GP the quick-fix engineer walking the byways and gullies to assist in the removal of the garbage carelessly disposed by the dirty Christians of Barbados then we know he has seen the Light which guides us to that perennially useful proverb that “cleanliness is next to Godliness”.

Despite all the engineering advice that poor GP No.2 (the chief of police in the bedroom spying business) has given to the government he still cannot get them to apply his ISO 9001 panacea to the filthy practice of leaving for weeks on end the unsightly and unsafe detritus and muck from the road gutters and drains in the same gutters and on the pavements on which pedestrians have to engage in an obstacle race with the motorized vehicles.

If he cannot get something as straightforward as that into action via his ISO 9001 cure-for-all how the hell is he going to convince the electorate he is the man for the job to bring “Solutions” to the myriad problems facing the country and become their Saviour in whom they ought to be well pleased?

    Hallelujah and Amen!

  38. I AM A SINNER NOT A CANONIZED SAINT

    @GP
Fair enough, No arguments with that reply based on Rom 3:23 and 1 John 1:19.

  39. dullard
Rom 3:23 is good but there is no 1 John 1:19.
perhaps you mean 1 John 1:9.

  40. dullard not only am I AM A SINNER I AM A CONFIRMED SINNER TOO SINCE 1963i

  41. BECAUSE OF ENVY ONE CAN BE INTOXICATED WITH RAGE LOOSING ALL SENSE AND SENSIBILITY AS DEMONSTRATED HERE BY GP…HOW DARE ANYONE HAVE A KNOWLEDGE OF DIVIDING THE WORD BESIDES THE FLAME THROWER THEOLOGIAN!

GP November 5, 2019 3:11 PM … RE You are disrespecting the man GP. NO HE HAS DISRESPECTED MY SCHOLARSHIP…

A GUILTY CONSCIENCE IS AS AN UNQUENCHABLE FIRE THAT BURNS IN THE SOUL! CONTINUALLY HE IS RELENTLESS IN TRYING TO DESTROY A GOOD GENTLEMAN’S REPUTATION…

16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. (Exodus 20:16)

A man’s reputation is his. He has worked his whole life, like he does for his material goods, to tarnish it or take it away by innuendo, lies, and outright deceit. It is akin to stealing that which is another’s and does not belong to you. A man’s reputation is more precious than gold because even after he dies his reputation lives on whereas his gold does not belong to him anymore. Be wary, be very wary of gossip, slander, innuendo, and all like it, you steal what does not belong to you. Lies in life can cost a man his life, be careful, be very careful. This act will remove you far away from the spirit.

“Who steals my purse steals trash; ’tis something, nothing; ’twas mine, ’tis his, and has been slave to thousands; But he that filches from me my good name robs me of that which not enriches him and makes me poor indeed.” Othello by: William Shakespeare

ONE OBSERVER WAS CORRECT TO DISCERN… @ Dr GP, “Do you apply the Word or only study it?”… To which he replied… “I AM A SINNER NOT A CANONIZED SAINT”.

AS ONE WHO IS SUPPOSED TO DIVIDE THE WORD CORRECTLY DOES GP PRETEND NOT KNOW THE FOLLOWING SCRIPTURE BUT MAKE EXCUSES FOR HIS BAD BEHAVIOUR SAYING HE IS A SINNER NOT A SAINT!

    Ephesians 5 (KJV)
    5 BE YE THEREFORE FOLLOWERS OF GOD, AS DEAR CHILDREN;

    2 AND WALK IN LOVE, AS CHRIST ALSO HATH LOVED US…3 ALL UNCLEANNESS, OR COVETOUSNESS, LET IT NOT BE ONCE NAMED AMONG YOU, AS BECOMETH SAINTS;

4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

9 (FOR THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS IN ALL GOODNESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS AND TRUTH;)

THEREFORE, BY THEIR FRUIT YE SHALL KNOW THEM… (Matt 7:15-20)

  42. Here we again.

  43. Here we GO again.

SHE TOOK ALL DAY TO JUMP IN LOL LOL

  44. FREEDOM WAS GIVING YOU ROOM TO HANG YOURSELF WHICH YOU DID QUITE EXPERTLY…

GP….A PERSON INTOXICATED WITH HATE AND RAGE!!!

  45. IF YOU BOIL A FUNNY BONE IT BECOMES A LAUGHING STOCK—-ABSOLUTELY HUMERUS!

  46. A final word from Jesus on this study. Jesus explained that we should expect the hate, but persevere in doing good – the haters will be sorted out.

“Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come!” (Luke 17:1)

  47. Romans 12:21 King James Version (KJV)

21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

  48. FELLOWS I HAVE BEEN OVERCOMING EVIL WITH GOOD MOST OF MY LIFE, AND I STILL AM

BUT I HAVE LEARNED TO LAUGH , AND
I HAVE LEARNED TO ENJOY THE PEACE THAT PASSETH UNDERSTANDING, AND
I HAVE LEARNED TO WALK WITH PATIENCE THE RACE THAT IS SET BEFORE ME

I HAVE BEEN PERSEVERING IN DOING GOOD AND YES THE HATERS HAVE BEEN SORTED OUT LIKE THE FELLOWS AT IMSA/JBGDL OR IUHS OR UHSA OR AIMU, ETC

THERE WERE LOTS OF OFFENSES BUT I LEARNED AND NOW I UNDERSTAND THAT GOD WAS DIRECTING THROUGH THIS ALL

WHAT I CANT UNDERSTAND HOWEVER IS
WHY IS GRENVILLE ACTING LIKE A BAPTIST PREACHER THROWING OUT WORDS USING THE BIBLE AS HIS COVER

I CANT UNDERSTAND WHY GRENVILLE DONT GIVE US SOLUTIONS FOR

    IMPROVING THE POLYCLINIC SYSTEM, OR
    FIXING THE HOSPITAL ISSUES OR
ON GETTING THE GARBAGE PICKED UP, AND WHY HE IS NOT GETTING MEMBERS OF HIS PARTY OR CHURCH INVOLVED IN CLEANING UP THE GARBAGE IN ANY AREA OF BARBADOS AS THAT GUY DID IN BALTIMORE RECENTLY

I CANT UNDERSTAND WHY GRENVILLE DONT GIVE US SOLUTIONS FOR
THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM OF BARBADOS OR
    THE TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM OF BARBADOS

I CANT UNDERSTAND WHY GRENVILLE’S ONE MAN SOLUTIONS PARTY CANT GIVE US ANY REASONABLE PRACTICAL SOLUTION TO ANY CURRENT PROBLEM IN BARBADOS

I CANT UNDERSTAND WHY GRENVILLE WONT GIVE ANY ANSWERS TO ANY OF THESE PRESSING QUESTIONS

IS IT BE CAUSE, LIKE THE REST, HE HAS NO REAL SOLUTIONS FOR BARBADOS

  49. ALTHOUGH APPRECIATING AND COMMENDING THE ACCOLADES OF HARRISONIAN’S ON BU, SOME GOING ON IN HIGHER LEARNING OF DOCTORATES IN THEOLOGY ETC. IT IS NOTED THAT A FEW WHILE ACQUIRING DATA AND KNOWLEDGE, DID NOT APPLY IT TO GAIN UNDERSTANDING AND SOME MAY EVEN CREDIT THEMSELVES GIVING NO LEEWAY TO THE SPIRIT OF INSPIRATION. THEY ARE SO MANY SO CALLED LEARNED PEOPLE LIKE GP WHO RELY PURELY ON ACADEMICS, WHICH BY ITSELF STANDS ALONE.

RE “WHAT I CANT UNDERSTAND” IS REPEATED 5 TIMES BY GP November 6, 2019 1:25 PM

PERHAPS IF GP APPLIED THE FORMULA SUGGESTED HERE AND ENGAGED HIMSELF TO UNDERSTANDING INSTEAD OF STAYING IN THE KNOWLEDGE DATA SETS OF EVERYTHING HE HAS LEARNED INCLUDING THE WORD, HE WOULD GAIN UNDERSTANDING!!

MOST PEOPLE WANT TO TALK ABOUT THEIR DATA, INFORMATION AND UNIVERSITY PEOPLE WILL SPEAK OF KNOWLEDGE.

REMEMBER, DATA IS NOT INFORMATION, INFORMATION IS NOT KNOWLEDGE, KNOWLEDGE IS NOT UNDERSTANDING, AND UNDERSTANDING IS NOT WISDOM”.

That said APPLIED Information leads to Knowledge…
    APPLIED Knowledge Leads to Understanding…
    APPLIED Understanding Leads to Wisdom.

WISDOM BEING THE GREATEST OF ALL…

PRINCIPLES ARE ROOTED IN UNDERSTANDING AND WISDOM. ONCE YOU HAVE UNDERSTANDING AND WISDOM EVERYTHING BECOMES CLEAR AND THAT ONLY COMES THROUGH THE INSPIRATION OF THE ALMIGHTY!!
