Jesus explained that we only have two paths before us, namely, the broad way of irresponsible behaviour that most choose, and the narrow and more challenging way of responsible behaviour.  I believe that when we reach our individual ages of accountability, we are each given 3 virtual bags containing the good deeds, encouraging words and healings that we are to empty before we go to the great beyond.

Every one of us have plenty of opportunities to give out of our bags, but something holds us back.  Something tells us that if we meaningfully help someone else, or say an encouraging word, or speak a blessing, that we would be ridiculed.  Imagine that.  We have been deceived into thinking that being responsible is something to be ashamed of or embarrassed about.

We are to receive no earthly benefit for most of the good things that we do, because we are to do them in secret.  Jesus said that our good deeds must be so private that figuratively, our left hand does not know what our right hand is doing.

During this time of severe austerity in Barbados, we have many opportunities to give out of our bag of good deeds to help those in desperate need.  Let us resist the temptation to selfishly guard our time and other resources for our own use.  It would be tragic, for us, to squander such opportunities.

As we interact with others, we will be tempted to withhold our compliments, advice, and encouragement out of a fear of how they may be received – we may even cringe at the very thought of saying something nice.  How it is received is not our responsibility, emptying that bag is.  Therefore, tell your loved ones that you love them, compliment persons for their efforts, and encourage persons to do what is right.

All three bags are to be emptied together, so we must also empty the contents of that third bag – the blessings.  We will be tempted to avoid blessing others because it may appear awkward if the blessing is not realised.  Again, the result is not our responsibility, emptying the bag is.

I follow my own best advice that I freely give to others, so I am happy and content with reason.  Two days ago, I was thanking God with a heart overflowing with gratitude, while walking towards my car after shopping in Bridgetown on Christmas Eve.  I happily realised that if I could choose any car in the parking lot, that I would honestly choose mine without reservation.

I then realised that if I could choose any house on this planet, that I would happily choose the one we built.  I then reflected further – and gingerly.  I slowly contemplated that if I could choose any woman on this planet, that, after deeper and honest contemplation, and with God, who knows all of my thoughts as my singular witness, I would genuinely choose my wife.  I asked God that I not outlive her, and I have already put my house in order for that eventuality.

I continue to improve myself so that I can better serve others, which is why I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Engineering in addition to my other duties.  So, I write this blessing to every person who reads this.  May you be empty so that you may be full.

May you prosper financially during this time of severe austerity in Barbados, so that you will have abundance to assist those in desperate need.  May you be in good health and be healed of any and all diseases or ailments, so that your testimony may increase the trust others have in God’s love for them.

May you understand all information that you read, hear and perceive.  May your ability to analyse this information far exceed my own abilities (hence the reason for revealing my studies).  May you be filled with wisdom from above that may be applied to this analysed information so that the productive result will benefit you, your family, and everyone who follows your best advice.  All of this I write in the name of Jesus, our Messiah, the Son of God, Yeshua.

  1. Admit it yardfowl……yall did not even check to see if they violated anything anywhere,…it is called DUE DILIGENCE…..REAL governments practice it so it does not return to BITE THE COUNTRY LATER…like WUB…yall just like useless Ronald Jones……just like the lack of due diligence with Cahill….and even if ya had the INTELLIGENCE TO CHECK…yall would have HIDDEN IT FROM THE PEOPLE…

As thinks now stand…the PEOPLE NOW KNOW….and ya can’t undo that..

That is what really got yall discombobulated …lol

  2. Having such a SHORT MEMORY and an even SHORTER ATTENTION SPAN is a CURSE…yall hear..lol

  3. Freedom crier @ 4:37 p.m.

People listen to what Freedom crier who I believe has inside connections – has stated about this award to Haloute and who is pulling the strings.

I am beginning to feel that this administration would be a blight on this country.

Did Errol Barrow – the father of the Nation gave his sister the highest honour as Dame – if he had everyone would have agreed that she brought positive recognition to the island of Barbados and deserved it – but he knew that was not the appropriate thing to do.

Did Bree St John gave his wife Stella the highest honour – for her hard work with the fishing community and the fish festival at Oistins ?

Did Lloyd Sandiford gave his sister who worked at CBC or his wife who spent many years at the Community college the Nation’s highest award ?

Did Arthur gave his brother-in – law – the late Roy Byer for his sterling work in helping to advance calypso – a Knighthood ?

The answer is obviously ‘NO’ to all of the above.

However from 25th May 2018 we have been saddled with a number of firsts – and negative Firsts at that

    For the first time in the history of Barbados – a sitting Prime Minister extended official invitations to 5 known drug lords to attend the opening of parliament;

For the first time in the history of this our beloved land – a Prime Minister defaulted on paying our debts

For the first time in history – this same Prime Minister – using the power of her majority – changed the Constitution of Barbados to allow 2 persons who did not meet the Residency Requirements – to be able to come in under the stipulated time and become Senators of Barbados

For the first time in history a Prime Minister uses her power to give her father – a man of no extraordinary contributions – the highest award in this country – a Knighthood.

For the first time the Government Printery was shut down and the work contracted out to a member of the Cabinet

For the first time the official Communications department of Government – The Government Information Service was shut down and the Political Party Campaign Strategist (of the BLP) was given a position as a civil servant -and put in charge of all communication (MORE LIKE PROPOGANDA AND SPIN) for the Government.

For the first time someone was plucked from a position as weather presenter and placed in Government as a Deputy Permanent Secretary.

    Wow.Wuhloss

    More to come people.

    More to come.

  4. David why is my comment awaiting moderation ?

  5. Simple Simon did i not say i do not listen to brass tacks
Therfore i take your question to be nonsencial since i cannot answer as to any topic that is being presented on that media outlet

  6. Before we go round and round on knighthood and other honor can someone describe the process to make the queen’s honor list.

Is it made up by Mia, an independent committee or the GG
What role, if any, does Mia has in the process
I would agree with others that ‘the optics’ are not good, but if it is a process that is independent of Mia, then we need to hold our fire.

  7. FC@4.37 pm
This will not happen often but for once I agree with you, notice the write up in the media doesn’t mention Federal Racing Service where he really started and where many Bajans lost their shirts but Gambling is frowned upon in beautiful Barbados (except for the daily lotteries of course).

BTW will this Gov’t allow gambling when the cruise ships come acalling?

  8. That may be so Enuff, but those schools have not been charged with deceptive practices, misleading and misinforming students, false marketing, etc. Those other schools are all well respected. None have had to change their names and move off shore. Being accredited is one thing, being crooked is another. Pleeeeeease.

  9. Allman, the real estate man got one. An I live abroad.

  10. Enuff, are you for real? mariposa is not this dense.

    @TG, It is a Cabinet decision…

With the permission of the relevant government, the UK Government can recommend Commonwealth citizens for UK honours. The recipient will usually receive their honour in their home country by their Governor-General (The Queen’s representative in that country). However, they can also request to attend an investiture at Buckingham Palace

  12. Are Bermuda and Belize not still British? If so, why could they not have conferred the honour on him. What has he done for Barbados apart from being born there?

  13. I am surprised at you Hants. You are smarter than that.

  14. @ T. Inniss

this Mugabe regime is truly painting an UGLY PICTURE irrespect of the “optics” that you look at it from

    A real UGLY picture

    https://imgur.com/a/ammgOJJ

  15. “A real UGLY picture”

Judging from the BU representatives, there is still a whole lot of ugliness to go, they are showing that they KNOW NO BETTER…that is ALL THEY KNOW..

And it is quite obvious that just like Fruendel and his circus of clowns, Mia is showing she is no different…they do not have what is required to do any better..

  16. The electorate will have to be very strong AND send a serious message come 2023…another generation cannot allow themselves to be dragged into DOWN INTO another quagmire by useless leaders who do not POSSESS what is necessary to UPLIFT the majority population on the island.

  17. Every thing OSA said about Mia is coming true from her aristocratic megalomania attitude to her sickening attitude of entitlement

  18. The Fact of the matter Mariposa is that your DLP people were extremely incompetent AND HAD TO GO.

You were the epitome of incompetence and one more term and the country would have died.

    Mugabe IS AN EXPERIMENT.

Her regime will EITHER MAKE PEOPLE WAKE UP TO THE REALITY OF TYRANTS and cause them to move away from the DUOPOLY to a responsible process of government OR WE WILL END UP WITH THE TYRANT THAT OWEN SAW.

Owen’s problem was that his hands were tied OR SO HE FELT.

His reasoning was that if he had exposed what he knew about Mugabe the results would have been that it would have caused his party to loose.

He made the wrong choice AND AS OPPOSED TO HIS PARTY LOSING he lost his party!!

Sometimes you have to realise when it is time to let the viper go.

The issue here is a very simple one, BAJANS HAVE TWO OPTIONS.

Either they move towards responsible and accountable government OR THEY WILL CONTINUE TO WALLOW IN THIS FILTH that will progressively get worse than the knighting of her father.

Watch the Sedition Act of 2019 and the Changes to the Voting Mechanism that will follow very soon.

And with each act of increasing TYRANNY DE GRANDSON WILL RENDER A STOOPID CARTOON and de ole man will post it

  19. Piece

I feel as though I am the Watchman on the wall sounding the alarm and the people inside are drinking and eating and making merry – and ignoring the alarm.

Mugabe and her agents are reading and watching to see how people react – and once she realizes that with the help of Ellis and those at the Nation and now Barbados Today post Kaymar Jordan – that the people are still in their drunken stupor – she will do more and more – and it will get more egregious.

Notice how some ignoramuses instead of discerning what this action portend – chose instead to talk about who cares about a knighthood – or this body or that body got an award too – steupes

I too and others as well – felt that Owen should have come full out and do a service to the country by telling the people in greater detail what he knew about this Mugabe.

Although you would note that when he tried to do so -at the last pre elections press conference he gave this year – when he spoke on how secret deals were made to give the father a tax write off and the same to Fcibc – some of the party yardfowls were sent to rise up against him.

Again when Owen raised the matter of his phone while he was prime minister – was tapped – along with the then Opposition leader David Thompson and others – this at a time when Mottley was Attorney General with responsibility for the police and Dottin was the Commissioner of Police – then too her stool pigeons like in the instance above – sought to give the impression that Owen always seeking to pull her down .Even though he was the one responsible for elevating her in the first place.

Notice how in this matter of the Father’s knighthood – none of the BLP agents even touched it bar one (Enuff) – and he/she did so just in passing. In this I will not even include the raw mouth idiot who want noticing.

Right now I too am wishing for a brand new set of persons to represent us – with fresh thinking – but I don’t know if that is possible in Bim – where everyone wanting to enter politics ( with a very few exceptions) – seems to drink from the same dirty chalice.

It is all about waiting their turn to put the screws in the little people.Sigh

We are truly swimming in shark infested waters..

  20. Is it worth it though – trying to have these discussions – maybe as Georgie says we should just come and laugh and have sport in de rum shop.

  21. As per “Regional Justice”

    “It is a Cabinet decision”

The above tells us nothing about the selection process: Are the names submitted by a committee or a committee of one? Does the Cabinet meet and is a presented with an Agenda item e.g. Recommendations for Queen’s New Year honours etc. Are the names pared down from a larger number? Is the list of achievements itemized or is the wording general? Given the relationship of one of the recipients to the PM did she declare a conflict of interest and absent herself from the selection process?

Ah mean I can ask questions all day but I don’t expect answers, but one question I would like someone to answer; did they ask anyone in Bermuda?

“Former Government minister Donville Inniss is still facing three counts of money laundering in the United States.

But the United States Justice Department has removed a theory within the indictment which would have formed part of its prosecution of the Barbadian businessman.

In another section of the press last week, it was reported that the Eastern District of New York had dropped one of the charges against Inniss, but public information officer for the US Department of Justice, John Marzulli, is contending otherwise.

“No counts are being dismissed,” Marzulli stressed to THE NATION from his Brooklyn, New York office. (BA)

  24. I too and others as well – felt that Owen should have come full out and do a service to the country by telling the people in greater detail what he knew about this Mugabe.”

Owen should have told the PEOPLE WHO PAY HIS PENSION..years ago what he knew about Mia…that is why I NEVER take him seriously. ..what he did to the people was a total DISSERVICE…..and typical of the useless politicians and their SECRET PACT…….of covering up each other’s crimes against the people …in this case KEEPING secrets for Mia.

It is NOT TOO LATE though..but I will not hold my breath.

  25. “Notice how in this matter of the Father’s knighthood – none of the BLP agents even touched it bar one (Enuff) – and he/she did so just in passing. In this I will not even include the raw mouth idiot who want noticing”

    Very aptly described…lol

  26. I would advise those in the parliament with their WICKED INTENTIONS…ya may not be quite as lucky as Donville…WHOSE LUCK OBVIOUSLY RAN OUT.

    OH WHAT A DISGRACE…

    http://www.nationnews.com/nationnews/news/227651/-wait-continue

Just look at the condition of the buses the DLP left….but yet millions of dollars are unaccounted for at TB…the equity of the bus company is TIED UP in CGI/Peter Harris’ backlogged personal injury cases all STUCK in the Supreme Court that neither Mia nor any of her clowns are addressing the matter..O LOCKING UP THE CULPRITS…..it will not end well.

“The Transport Board’s ageing fleet of buses will be running alongside electric vehicles in the next two years.

The board has invited suitable companies to supply “120 to 180 electric buses within 12 to 18 months on the signing of the contract”.

We will see who gets this contract…has the Barbados government…NO DEPARTMENTS THAT CAN SOUCE ANYTHING…I keep asking this…what use are government departments that CANNOT SOURCE anything…contracts ARE VEHICLES OF CORRUPTION…..yet they are still forcing CROOKS TO APPLY.

Michael Lashley brought in a Trini to sit at his desk on his ass ALL DAY to make calls to the US to source bus parts…any secretary or PS could have done that…the dude got over 20 thousand a month, plus housing, plus car and he did not even live full-time in Barbados…a clear RIPPOFF of taxpayers money…cause the bus fleet AND service degraded even further…..and it continues to degrade under Mia..

  27. And again we REMIND MIA…..January will be month 8 of her being ELECTED BY THE PEOPLE….no matter who FUNDED HER CAMPAIGN…she could not sit in parliament UNLESS ELECTED by the majority population….who PAY HER SALAY.

I think it was Malaysia…within weeks of a change of government, the prime minister was ARRESTED..for corruption AND THEFT…..although he tried to run…and he is STILL FIGHTING the case…but JUSTICE IS BEING SERVED..

Why are no DLP former ministers in custody…..except for Donville in US thanks to US…… for what they did to the MAJORITY POPULATION in Barbados…from 2008 to 2018.

  28. …..Mia could not sit in parliament UNLESS ELECTED by the majority population….who PAY HER SALARY.

I believe she needs to be reminded of this very often, short memories abound in that POSSESSED parliament.

  29. Cant Wait to see what will be govt next move in 2019 to keep the foreign reserves in good standing.
The money borrowed has to be repaired in a timely fashion
In the meantime Barbados infrastructure continues to rapidly decay.
And money must be found from some where to repair the ongoing damage
Also our social services like the psychiatric hosiptal and QEH continue to take a financial beating and cannot afford the necessary items to maintain a clean and sanitize enviroment for its patients which includes inventory
The long and short of this govt new policy seems to be a one sided viewed of an economic reality one that serves well to feed a few while the social enviroment of the coutry continues its leaps and bounds into final decay

    xxxxxxxcccccccccccvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv

An impressive win like the one the blp pulled off was not a simple call to arms from the average man on the street (although they responded) but required the managing control of a bigger force which was undetectable and hardly noticed by those outside the blp inner circle
Lest we be fooled that the average man on the street were the only ones who gave the big blp this big win
Just take a look at those who are being given their slice of the pie in awards and huge tax breaks while the average man is unilaterally forced to carry the weight of the debt laden wagon
Well come 2019 the average man must be prepared for giving more
What a way to end 2019
    Bring out the champagne

  31. Waru

Just for clarity – the raw mouth idiot I referenced is not Enuff.

  32. @T.Inniss December 30, 2018 12:52 AM “I too and others as well – felt that Owen should have come full out and do a service to the country by telling the people in greater detail what he knew…”

If Owen knew something that was of “a service to the country” why did he keep that person in his Cabinet? Why is he “holding secrets” instead of being of “a service to the country”

The fact that he kept that person in Cabinet tells me that he knew nothing of “a service to the country.”

I’ve voted for the DLP many times in the past. I still hope to vote for that party many times in the future.

I will pray for you too. I will pray especially for you.

The fact that nobody here can remember who got “national honours” at the beginning of 2018, should tell us how meaningless “national honours” are.

  33. Mariposa correctly predicted – around July when it was announced that Mottley had pushed at a CARICOM Heads of Government meeting to remove the visa requirement for Haitians – that there would be an influx of Haitians refugees coming to these shores.

She was immediately ridiculed by all the familiar ‘know-it-all’ BLP yardfowls who insisted that Haitians are fleeing by boat – and that it is easier to go to Martinique – and that if they come here through Immigration they have to have money.

    I agreed with Mariposa.

Now we are seeing exactly that happening as already scores of Haitians are turning up wihout money, can’t speak English and depending on the largesse of the Barbadian public.

All because of the hubris of Mia Mottley -pushed by her cousin Commisung – because you know Mia Mottley came in (according to this blog moderator) receiving loud applause from the other regional prime ministers at her first CARICOM meeting – because – well you know she is promising and demonstrating to get things done.

I – and other thinking persons – could see through all this -bull shitting they were giving her .Get things done what ! They were going to push Barbados in front to honour these commitments and they sit right back – just as Jamaica has been doing with those Haitians migrants – treating them like Garbage – yes our said black CARICOM brothers and sisters that they talk about.

But Mia is the Saviour they were waiting for – at least in her eyes – and some of her sycophants here and elsewhere – so now we have to look for accommodation for these Haitians who seem to have arrived on a one way ticket – because I don’t understand why this government has to purchase return tickets for them. – and get accommodation – which the salvation army has offered to provide.

This is the modus operandi of Mia Mottley – do everything in a big rush for the Public relations effect.

Call press conferences – where no journalist is allowed to question her.

Do Nation wide media interview with her favourite Toady – David Ellis – and just bullshit right through “the interview”.

Rush and remove the road tax and implement a gasoline tax promising a refund – up to now no one received it.

Remove Visa for Hatians – now this sudden influx

The worst of all – rush to send home public servants – then some places have no cashiers like at the Magistrates Court,at Customs,at other Revenue collecting sites etc – and worse of all the people didn’t get their severance package as promised when they were dismissed.

I think I am on the side of Hal Austin – this will all end in tears here in Barbados.

  34. ah know ya meant Lorenzo ah saw the post, but just for clarity…both Enuff and Lorenzo are …ONE AND THE SAME…lol

  35. Simple Simon.dont worry OSA and others in the “know” will be forced to speak when they have seen enough of the cream being floated to the top for the few and the hard working poor continues to get the shitty end of the stick
Those who got honoured in 2018 names would hardly be remembered as their names does not conjured ‘up” thoughts of corruption and deceitful practices and doubt
Lest we forget Elliot Mottley name was associated with tax waivers in the millions of dollars which represents a failing of his financial duty to country
Now given a knighthood for what? A rightful question which should be asked of any patriotic barbadian
Elliott Mottley owes it to his country and country men to say NO rather than to be seen and perceived as a person who was given special favour by his daughter MIA.
We already have Mia cousin who had tongues wagging as he was awarded. Ambassador
Now this govt is leaning ever so closely to corrupt practices by giving and extending special favours to family members in knighthoods and Ambassadors

  36. “Lest we be fooled that the average man on the street were the only ones who gave the big blp this big win”

Mariposa..not to take away from your concerns…BUT..that is one of the mistakes Bajans have made for decades…and to their own DETRIMENT…

    again…for the 50th o 60th time I have been posting this…

Barbados has a population of a little less than 300,000 people..

The majority Black population that yall so love to call small man and poor make up the MAJORITY POPULATION IN NUMBERS..at least 265,000 people.

the minorities, white shadows, white crooks, Indian shadows, Indian crooks, Syrian shadows, Syrian crooks etc…make up a mere MAYBE 9,000 PEOPLE….they are MINORITIES…the smallest numbers in the population.

EVEN IF…Mia took 50 million dollars of money, stolen from the people, by these minorities for her political campaign…and since we know that number is exaggerated and the only amount she would have gotten is maybe 25,000 each from these crooks to fund her political campaign…cause according to Bizzy…that is all they give to political campaigns ….so she can owe them later and reward them with contracts…just like DLP did….she could have NEVER BEEN ELECTED WITHOUT THE OVER 100,000 BLACK MAJORITY VOTERS… and that is the reality..none of them could have been elected to parliament in the last 53 YEARS…without the black majority…none of them will ever ..BE ELECTED TO parliament without the black majority..

ya know why…they do not have the number of people required to make it possible…ya can’t spin it enough to change that….

And it would be in yall best interest to say what ya know instead of hinting without much info…like foolish Owen.

  37. There is a former magistrate who is doing wonderful work for children. Has she been considered for a damehood?

  38. Besides…DLP government ministers were so damned corrupt…the majority population had enough, they just could not take it anymore and saw their own IMMINENT DEATH APPROACHING …if they had not gotten rid of Fruendolittle and his circus of clowns.

  39. T.Inniss
Most likely Commissiong along with this govt had plan to allow them easy entry which would allow govt to use the Hatians to redevelop our agriculture industry
What these duffus fail to realise that most of these Haitians which would come are very poor and would require govt assistance in terms of food housing and clothing
Giving the Haitians a chance to redevelop our agricultural industry by govt would cost the taxpayers millions of dollars which govt should have forsee
Most likely among the those Haitians who make it to barbados many would be poor and barbados at this point and time having to go through a tough economic climate cannot afford to expand its social basket
The Haitian people are not stupid and of they wanted to pursue a life in agriculture they would easily stay in their country

  40. Mariposa

Owen wouldn’t talk.I believe Mia has info on him too.

But he did in his own way – more than once -tried to warn us what a Mia Mottley led administration would look like – and it was not a pretty picture for sure.

  41. But is not that the same CONUNDRUM going on between the exiled from parliament DLP and the present Mia government…

They both have much info on each other re bribery corruption…and are DARING EACH OTHER TO SAY ANYTHING…publicly about WHO DID WHAT, WHO STOLE WHAT …etc…..or everybody will start spilling left and right ..lol

The problem they both have is….they all have OFFSHORE ACCOUNTS…so daring each other cancels out any surprises..

evabody already know what they did, so it will be in ALL THEIR BEST INTERESTS…to come clean, before everything takes an EXTREMELY NASTY TURN…for ALL OF THEM.

Besides…am here patiently waiting and if they let it all come out natural…I will be MERCILESS…

  42. T. Inniss well then if so. The water is filthy stink not only is it necessary to build a new Sewer system on the South Coast but also a re0lacement of those in Parliament
Cud dear the country is heading for a melt down doo doo style.

Btw i see tourist swiming in that poluuted water in Worthing it would just be a matter of time before some person gets gravely illl and send the govt a legal bill.
For sure the water will be a source of bacteria remanants of toxins from the sewer plant which would be washed up on the shores after many months of closure and exposed to those who travelled barefooted along the shoreline
This givt insist and persist with playing russian roulette with the lives of people.

  43. Mariposa

Remember how a reporter from the daily telegraph in the U.K. wrote an article – headlined Barbados Stink’ – which strangely and interestingly had all the talking points in that article – which had been recited over and over by the BLP opposition.

So was that article a set up ?

    Me think so.

Remember how all the BLP politicians and their yardfowls rushed to the media and spoke about diseases that the tourists were exposed too – despite the Chief Medical officer reassuring citizens that there is regular testing of the drinking water and the area in the sea open to bathing – and it was safe.

Remember when the U.S Embassy staff said that their water in the tank was contaminated because of the sewage system on the South Coast – yet when the BWA asked for the tests and their results – the Embassy could provide no evidence.

All sort of advisories were sent out by 3 embassies which in itself was highly unusual as regards the small area being dealt with – and the fact that this happened in developed as well as developing countries all the time.

Canada with its LGBT loving Ambassador, the Us Embassy etc were all influenced to join in the ‘Barbados Stink’ narrative.

Yet the BLP media ridiculed the C.M.O ‘s report that and continued on their agenda – to ensure regime change.

Barbados Tourism Product was therefore put in jeopardy despite the assurances from the health experts – and all to one end – that there could be public dissatisfaction -eventually leading to Mottley becoming the first female Prime Minister.

So Mariposa – now although they are pumping the shit out into the sea – the tourists are now encouraged to bathe in those areas of the South Coast – and nary a word from the BLP Media.

I once again co-opt Hal’s prophetic words – ‘ IT WILL ALL END IN TEARS’.

  44. Inniss…raw poop is dangerous when exposed to HUMANS…the countries who gave those advisories to PROTECT their people from diseases that can be found in raw poop …had all right…it is very easy for water to become contaminated..

as things stand, I will NOT bathe in the sea in Barbados…until a new sewage plant is built.

On the island I graduated from drinking filtered water…to distilled water..because it has been proven that filtered water is not guaranteed bacteria free.

People must protect themselves since Fruendel et al were trying to hide the truth and bullshit people with LIES..

  45. Waru

What was Freundel et al trying to hide re the South Coast sewage mess?

Freundel and government could not hide anything even if he wanted to because Mia made sure she had her moles holding senior positions in the civil service -dropping files off the back of trucks – and secretly undermining the last government.

  46. The former government was made aware two years before the matter escalated to the crisis it is today. If they preferred to ignore the message from the Opposition at the time there was a report prepared by your pwn Patricia Inniss, now fired. This matter was vigorously discussed on BU at the time.

  47. So if it was public knowledge then pray tell me what was Freundel keeping secret ?

  48. There is the view the government of the day attempted to keep a lid on the enormity of the problem. There is another view that it was a colossal fcuk up by a bunch of incompetents, The blogmaster is of the latter view.
