donald-trumpDuring the Nixon administration John Dean walked into the Oval Office and told the president of a cancer on his presidency. The long-laboured elevation of the madman, Donald Trump, puts us in a far worse position. For it comes at a time when all the indicators, in all environments, suggest a nearing collapse of human civilization. The Executive Order is the main instrument of this madman, would-be-dictator.

We have here a man who has hardly been able to hire the thousands of political appointees needed to run government. In additional, thousands of civil servants have opted not to work under him or have retired early. What is clear is that Trump never had a plan if he won, gave no consideration to what winning was to mean. As a result the greatest country in the world, so-called, is currently being run like a one-door shop while the Doomsday Clock advances to two and a half minutes to midnight.

Trump talks about a ‘wall’. Building a wall on the Mexican border and having the Mexicans pay for it. Not the Canadian border. Not to keep out illegal Europeans, but Mexicans. Only a racist madman could process the thought of building a defensive wall, 2000 miles long, in 2017. Up to 1200 miles of which would have to be in the middle of the Rio Grande.

The Rio Grande, a river shared by both countries. Normal thinking would suggest that such a border can never be so protected and not since the Great Wall of China, constructed over many years and in parts, has such a feat been attempted. Moreover, environmental conditions may soon be driving Americans to Mexico and beyond, in their droves. If Trump were not insane he could be best advised to leave the ‘back door’ opened for this exit strategy.

He characterizes himself as a builder. He is not. He is better described as a developer. A developer who has no engineering skills. What he does, is to employ others (project managers, engineers, RE agents, general contractors, architects, etc) with a range of skills and he provides the funding to achieve project objectives. Most structural engineers agree that such a wall could be possible but give no guarantees that it would be fit for Trump’s purposes – effectively keeping out Mexicans and others coming from South America.

Trump has threatened executive action to hinder transfers from the federal government to major ‘sanctuary cities’. Cities which have clearly indicated they non-cooperation with his ‘undocumented resident’ policy. The truth is that major cities benefit greatly from the cheap labour of the undocumented. Even Germany tried this recently viz-a-viz Syrian ‘refugees’. Capitalism must have a pool of slave or cheap labour.

His policies will disrupt too many families containing both documented and undocumented members. What’s more, sanctuary cities transfer up to 20% more to the federal government than the feds return to them. They carry (financially) the mainly Republican, largely White, southern, central, mid-western states. Only a madman, power drunken as he clearly is, would challenge from such a position of relative weakness. Trump can only hurt his master race.

As the Economist’s Democracy Index downgrades the USA’s rating, Trump feels able to contend that 4 to 5 million people voted illegally for his opponent. Trump’s madness will not allow him to accept that most Americans did not vote for him, even in his electoral college victory. How could it not be possible for a man who could rise to the highest office in the land not know that 2 million people die between election cycles? What kind of narcissism would preclude Trump from empathizing with a human circumstance where deceased persons are not effectively removed from voters’ lists?

Trump’s executive orders seek to effectuate a promise to create a Muslim ban or registry. Even Madeline Albright, a woman who thought the illegal killing of 500K Iraqi children was ‘worth it’, has offered to be listed as a Muslim on this Schindler’s List. Trump’s order will selectively list the same Islamic majority countries disliked by Obama and Bush regimes.

The executive order does not list Saudi Arabia, the singular country from whence the Wahhabi/Takfiri/terrorist ideology flows. Instead we have countries like Syria, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen serving as stand-ins for the real enemy of us all. The madman, Trump, also leaves off countries like Afghanistan and Pakistan. Could this be the capriciousness of a lone madman or is the system itself insane? How can a country deliver this man to the highest office if that country is not as he is?

These impulsive, unpredictable madmen/women, and we must include his closest advisers and enablers who seem to believe that they can play with fire without consequences. We are especially thinking about Jared Kushner, the Zionist Jew, who has placed in the mind of the principle madman the idea that East Jerusalem could be formally annexed without consequences. They must know that even a madman with his finger on the nuclear codes could be made to see sense. That action may be seen as minor and as a favour for Jared Kushner’s Zionist friends in the Likud but will instead lead to the final battle of Armageddon, we guarantee you. And Pax-Judaica will not emerge as the world power you seek. Instead the work of Adolf may be properly completed.

We also must take umbrage at some people for whom we’ve had a modicum of respect. People who, with generally just cause, have been supportive of Trump. People like Paul Craig Roberts (PCR), Charles Ortel (CO) and others who seek to maintain a narrative that Trump is somehow the innocent one here.

We are to believe that Trump is the one who comes to give us freedom from an over-bearing government. Yet, especially White men like PCR and CO (both Republicans) would seek to have Black people exchange a history of the deprivations of White supremacy to blindly buy into some newfangled narrative having a madman at its centre. We say to PCR, CO and their White friends, F**k-off!

Today Dr. Guy McPherson masterfully condensed all the climate changes that have been occurring, largely unnoticed, and has concluded that we may have less than 10 years left. Most times, we are too focused on singular climate events but McPherson has estimated what these changes, together, mean for life on planet earth.

He postulates that climate changes will severely impede our ability to grow grains, enough to feed ourselves. Grains have been central in the development of mankind. And instead of facing up to this terrible possibility, we are to deal with a madman who is more confident in his own ability to complete the task of the annihilation of humans sooner than the induced consequences of climate change.

  1. Donald Trump is a f++king idiot.

Anybody who has argued differently is one as well.

This is a man who knows nothing.

But because he has a few dollars he is to be a genius

He is not the only ignorant one with money.

The USA is replete with people like this.

Simply ignorant people with money who continue to destroy the country and our world

Like they have done from the very beginning

Pacha…Trump’s only option left to perpetrate mass deportations illegally is to suspend the US constitution to delete the Judicial branch of government. …ah can’t wait for him to try that one, they will be writing books and making movies about him for centuries after.

What is vexing is that the US is a land of immigrants built on lands stolen from the Natives, using them and black slave labor to build the couutry, none of these mentally ill, psychotic racists have any legal right to the country. ..none of them, it’s all in their crazy heads and in the forged documents they themselves created centuries to steal ownership….it cannot and will not end end.

Lawson…again, you nothing about constitutional law, she does, I do or I would say nothing, the US is bigger than a president who only has minimal control over the executive branch of government and can fire at will….

…..the judicial branch of government is the real actor and all final legal decisions are owned by that branch…..trump and his dummies underestimated the powers of the judicial arm of government, since they initially tried to delete it….you and John should stick to not knowing what you do not know…lol

The US government is not a reality tv show.

  4. Sally Yates is a 30 year veteran of the DOJ, she has served under Republican and Democrat Presidents doubtless she knows more about legal matters than the Johnny Come lateleys desk jockeys that populate the WH. A former version of these paper tigers were responsible for advocating for the Iraq war. Ms. Yates is certainly familiar with the Nuremberg Defence and realizes that she couldn’t in good conscience bow to pressure from the WH and follow an order that she knew was unconstitutional. The phrase “ I was just following orders” didn’t work at Nuremberg and it won’t work today.

The Administration of GW Bush tried to pressure his Atty. Gen Ashcroft to sign off on the Domestic Surveillance program which the Justice Dept. had ruled was illegal and WH Counsel Gonzalez and Chief of Staff Andrew Card visited Ashcroft in intensive care in hospital and asked him to sign off on papers they had brought, to his credit he refused. The Bush WH was adamant and refused to back down but Bush overruled his Staff and peace was restored but Ashcroft, his Deputy, FBI Director Mueller and his Deputy Comey (there’s that name again) and their aides all were inclined for a mass resignation.

Interestingly in 2015 when Yates was up for confirmation for her last position she was asked by Senator Jeff Sessions if she would bow to pressure from the Obama WH, her answer was “No”. That question should be posed to Senator sessions at the ongoing hearings.

“He is merely pandering to campaign rhetoric without considerations of the realities of proper and careful governance.”

    @ dpD

I am forced to agree with your comments, as well as your other contributions on this topic.

The reality of the situation is Trump has been spewing his anti-immigrant, “America first” rhetoric without considering the implications of his actions.

Trump plans to propose, in the 2017 budget, US$14B more in Defense spending than is currently allowed under the Budget Control Act, in an effort to increase the size and strength of the US military. He said a strong military is “more important” than a balanced budget, thereby signaling his willingness to use deficit spending to fund the Pentagon.

It was reported that in 2016, the US spent US$622B on the military, which accounted for almost 40% of the global total defense budget. Trump’s plans “include 350 new Navy ships, 1,200 aircraft, equipment and weapons for at least 65,000 new Army soldiers and at least 13,000 more Marines. While there is no indication of how much all this will cost, defense analysts estimate it around $90 billion per year in spending increases.”

Trump signed two executive orders directing the construction of a wall on the US-Mexico border, increase the ranks of Border Patrol forces by an additional 5,000 agents and 10,000 new Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers to carry out deportations. Unfortunately, Trump did not say how he would finance the triple in the ICE deportation force.

How much will his immigration rhetoric cost US taxpayers and how will he finance these programs, especially against the background of promising to “massively cut taxes” and that tax cuts are subject to arbitrary congressional budget rules, which stipulates every tax cut has to be offset by a tax increase of spending cut somewhere else?

  6. Trump is a salesman and has demonstrated his “salesmanship” skills by creating “worst case scenarios” to successfully convince many Americans and his media friends in FOX News to accept his “hard-line immigration policies.”

Firstly, he plans to increase the Border Patrol by recruiting 5,000 additional officers. However, certain information suggests he would be continuing a 10 year expansion of the agency, even as the number of illegal border crossers has decreased dramatically. According to the National Border Patrol Council, the number of Border Patrol agents has more than doubled since 2002 and the 2013 Senate Bill proposed a larger increase in agents than what Trump is currently proposing. Presently, there are over 20,000 Border Patrol agents and the 2013 Senate bill would have increased the number in excess of 38,000.

Secondly, the Pew Research Center indicated more Mexicans left the US than those who entered between 2009 and 2014. Also, although there was an increase in Border Agents patrolling the borders, apprehensions of illegal immigrants decreased by 79%.

Thirdly, statistics provided by the U.S immigration and Customs Enforcement indicated deportations of illegal immigrants increased during Obama’s first four years in office, reaching a peak of 409,849 in 2012. Since then, deportations have been dropping to a low of 235,413 last year. In all, about 2.8 million have been deported under Obama.

“She insisted she had simply acted like most Germans by not resisting the regime. “Those people nowadays who say they would have stood up against the Nazis – I believe they are sincere in meaning that, but believe me, most of them wouldn’t have,” she told the Guardian in her last interview in 2016.

She described how, after the rise of the Nazi party, “the whole country was as if under a kind of a spell. I could open myself up to the accusations that I wasn’t interested in politics, but the truth is the idealism of youth might easily have led to you having your neck broken.”

Pomsel’s health had deteriorated rapidly following a fall in the months since the film’s release at Munich film festival last July.

During the last months of her life she was interviewed further by the film-makers for a book to accompany the documentary. “Her attention span had waned, but she was still up to date with events in the world from Turkey to the USA,” Weigensamer said.

“She was very proud that the film was made about her, even if parts of it were very unpleasant for her, but she thought it was important that she left something behind which will be shown in schools,” so as to educate young people on the dangers of dictatorships.

Speaking about what she called the “ghastly developments” in world affairs, Pomsel said she only hoped “the world doesn’t turn upside down again as it did then”.

Although she called herself an “apolitical person, who has never fought for anything”, she had followed current affairs closely in old age. She said recently: “Hitler was elected democratically, and bit by bit he got his own way. Of course that could always repeat itself with Trump or Erdoğan.”

I was never big on Ashcroft but he has a wonderful legal mind, which I benefitted from through certain studies, he was not going to violate any constitutional laws and neither should Yates.

    @ dpD

I once again agree with your comments.

The Trump supporters are sending “subliminal messages” in which they are presenting Trump as some sort of mystical saviour

On December 25, 2016, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus and Co-Chair Sharon Day released the following statement celebrating Christmas:

“Merry Christmas to all! Over two millennia ago, a new hope was born into the world, a Savior who would offer the promise of salvation to all mankind. Just as the three wise men did on that night, THIS Christmas HERALDS a TIME to CELEBRATE the GOOD NEWS of a NEW KING. We hope Americans celebrating Christmas today will enjoy a day of festivities and a renewed closeness with family and friends.”

Trump and his supporters have decided to wage a war with the media, accusing it of reporting “fake news” and having a biased against Trump. If you listen to Conway, Sean Spicer and the hosts of FOX News, you would go away with the opinion they dismiss facts and. similarly to Trump, invent their “own realities” according to the situation.

During an interview with FOX News on Sunday, January 29, 2017, Trump’s senior advisor Kellyanne Conway compared President Trump and his staff to Jesus.

Additionally, as was suggested by “Politicus USA,” these people “are believers, not in God, but in Donald Trump as their almighty political messiah.”

“Kellyanne Conway is truest of true believers, and she just couldn’t help herself from coming a bit unhinged to defend her boss on Fox News Sunday. This White House appears to believe that they are on a mission to save America through the gospels of Trump. Their loyalty is to Trump, not the American people.”

It is also interesting to note that, despite the USA, Europe, Israel and the UK having superior weapons, equipment and soldiers, they have been unable to completely defeat terrorist organizations.

“Still, he said, the First Amendment says “Congress shall make no law” establishing a religion or prohibiting the free exercise of it. “So, it’s a prohibition on congressional action and presidential action.”

Addressing speculation Trump would fire Yates, Dershowitz said that, too, would be a mistake.

Instead, he said, Trump should ignore Yates for the next few days and ask for appointment of a special defense attorney to defend his order.”
