Press Statement Issued by Dr. Maria M. Agard M.P.

Dr. Maria Agard, Christ Church West M.P.
The Annual General Meeting of the Christ Church West Branch of the Barbados Labour Party, held September 20th 2015, was suspended on the instruction of the Political Leader Ms. Mia Mottley, who commanded the abortion of the Election of Officers mid process as a result of charges […]of discrepancies in the Membership List.

In opposition, by calling off the branch elections without consulting the MP, Mia is showing the stuff that DICTATORS are made of. She is not yet Prime Minister as many of you expect and is behaving in this manner, heaven help us.

Look here man, everyone in Barbados knows that she is the laziest MP in all of Barbados. She does not work in here constituency and cannot get on with her branch. Its very simple, in the last election Maria Agard got less votes that DePeiza and Abed (combined). Had it not been for the split of the DLP vote, which is a BLP fortress constituency, Maria Agard would have been defeated by Verla DePeiza.

It is clear that the Mia is not prepared to go into her first, best and only election seeking to be PM with Ch Ch West not nailed down with a certain candidate. Also that situation is made worst by the fact that they don’t seem to like each other much and allegedly runs to OSA to seek comfort and guidance in everything she does.
SHE CANNOT SURVIVE.

@ Mr. Caswell,
This has been, IS and WILL ALWAYS BE the ole man’s perspective of Mia Amor Mottley – DICTATOR IN THE OFFING.
Under the guise of “brilliant ORATOR” and all of the dogshyte that many of the BLP supporters, and the change agent promoters, suggest, EVEN NOW, in 2015, we are seeing the signals of “Absolute Despotism” on the horizon, the promise of what yet is to come, EVEN PRIOR TO getting into Bay Street.
This is what Owing Arfur has feared, and continues to fear – the very real and present danger of Idi Amin Mottley, gestating and metamorphosing BEFORE OUR VERY EYES!!
And here’s the thing Mr. Caswell.
In the vein of so-called good governance, even now, this problem of assigning the property of one duly elected representative to a cuntstituency IS BEING ABROGATED at the whims and fancies of our Next PM!
Power hungry, a David Thompson to the nth degree!! wishing to reward her androgenous Jerome, with a seat where he can affix his bottom tenderly, WITHOUT having to wuk for it (almost said “wuk it”)
Every day this cuntry is going further and further down into this mess and cess pit and men like you Caswell sit on the outskirts and comment prettily and sagely as we go further and further into the morass.
Observe how Membership Lists that “were identical, having been prepared, verified and issued solely by the Secretariat of the Barbados Labour Party specifically for the AGM…” were whimsically set aside because “the woman who would rule Bulbados” made confident by the DLP Dufus Primate Primus inter Pares – Froon Froon Fumbles and his tribe of monkeys, have given the spoils of war to Idi Mottley.
Only the hand of GOD or the invocation of the ** or the arising of a mindset of Bajans to change this “Pathway to Despotism” can avert this Pol Pot awaiting us.
But dese is only de rantings of an ole man reading the tea pot leaves of a man who sees the Storm Brewing in ” a voter’s list (that was) limited to six persons, four of whom made no protest….”

Honourable Blogmaster I am aware of the referenced blog and its contents and to some degree its genesis.
I recall well how “Kevin” was aghast that the Cahill matter was attracting so much attention while the affairs of local politics which held Dr. Agard prisoner within the same organisation and political party that is preaching “We, the BLP, are the Freedom of Bajans from the Yoke of Oppression of the Democratic Labour Party”.
We the Fourth Estate? speak nobly and eloquently of jettisoning the old way of politicking yet “which of us will Bell the cat?”
Who is the Greatest Authority? You would do well to answer GOD, JEHOVAH, ALLAH or whatever is your theosophical want.
In this temporal state, we are encouraged to “render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s and unto God, the things that are God’s”.
Man is often fooled to believe that the judiciary, the courts, the body politic, the “government” etc are collectively the highest authority in the land and that we cannot appeal to anyone or anything above it.
But we live in an age where “the appeal” that we are now capable of making, via the ubiquitous presence of the internet makes quick work of injustices and overlord attitudes doled out on the erstwhile weak and un-faired masses.
The same way internet bullying is able to make people take their lives, like the viral video with the RBPF officer sitting in the other man’s lap, so too do these tools crafted well, like this letter from Dr. Maria M Agard
Note the statement of fact
“…The intervention to prevent the disenfranchisement of six persons, SIMULTANEOUSLY DISENFRANCHISED over one hundred verified members who had ALREADY CAST THEIR VOTE, or were waiting to be issued ballots, and WHO FULLY EXPECTED THAT THEIR WISHES in electing a new Executive would be respected…”
As are they all “statements of (emotive) fact”, written in Spinozain-like format, for those of us on the outside, whether we be DLP, BLP or NO-BOD-Y supporters the stench of filth assails our nostrils
They will hate the BU Household – specifically you that host and moderate this, even more

The irony eh..the same bloggers who applauded the late David Thompson’s dismissal of workers regardless of their legitimate employment status are now mortified at the prospect of a political party refusing to renew the contract of a candidate. Owen Arthur gave good service for the most of the 14 years he was PM and the public decided not to renew his contract in 2008, in the process he was misquoted, vilified and demonised. Owen returned in 2013 after a dismal performance by the DLP, suffered even more vilification and again the public refused to offer him a new contract. I simply do not understand the faux outrage.

Theirs is a belief that “Superior Deity” has spoken and consequently the creatures of its creation MUST OBEY.
I use the adjective “superior” in the stead of “megalomaniac” for how else could you describe the issue of this list? be it regular or irregular.
This is a Machiavellian plot – for one to issue a list for use at an AGM and then, in the middle of said AGM, to personally stop the meeting’s proceedings because of “irregularities on the same list that you issued”.
An idiot like ** or ****** could understand that.

Owing Arfur was given a mandate for 14 years. The contract was not renewed and a few people demonized him.

There was a call towards the end of today’s Brasstacks,Dr Agard to David Ellis.I did not hear the entire discussion but gleaned that the person who “engineered” the halt to the voting process does not live in the ch ch w constituency any longer, indeed his name appears on the voting list in another riding and therefore he had no locus standi in the proceedings. That the voting was underway and 70 members had already cast their votes when a called was made by the party leader to stop the proceedings and that the presiding officer Cynthia Forde did as told. That after members had dispersed another vote was taken, that is,in the absence of many who had left, therefore it was not a proper process.Dr Agard posits that the list used was legit and the objection by the “disenfranchised”voter should not have given rise to cancellation of the proceedings, since it could be proved that his name is listed on the current list of electors in another constituency, but for reasons unknown the party leader called a halt.Perhaps someone can post a more accurate assessment of the call to David Ellis.

From 1994-2001, David Thompson lead the DLP with a free hand to do as he saw fit. Did we not end up with the unusual act of the people of Barbados voting against the opposition in 1999?
Where is the IMF letter supposedly signed by Owen Arthur which was to be produced in Queen’s Park?
Where is the St John Development Plan?
Why was there a mass exodus of several of the candidates who ran in both the 1994 and 1999 General Elections under the leadership of DT?
Why would a number of former candidates who are still members never want to take part in an election again under the leadership of DT?
Why was a BLP member Delisle Bradshaw presented to the DLP as a candidate instead f Undine Whittaker in St Michael South East in 1999?
Why was Patrick Todd not permitted to run in the City as the preferred candidate in 1999?
