2020 will be a pinnacle moment within the history of America. So much has to be decided this year don’t You think? We are All surrounded by History being made. The Black Lives Movement, Law Enforcement Reform, Who should run this place called America…the 1% or The People. Is Capitalism the answer or the curse? Can our economy benefit All? When will America take Climate Change seriously? Are all forms of Equality a mere dream? Can human charity win over the corruptiblity of wealth? Will Our Leaders care more about US them themselves?
With this destructive Pandemic upon US ALL, we have been forced to become Better, to change and to worry about others whether that be our family, neigbors, friends or  even strangers. Yet forces within US fight this charitable effort and refuse to protect others. We Fear the loss of something. We Fear any challenge don’t we? We like tradition, the status quo. Anything alien to Us can be challenging indeed, but also up lifting giving US the Power of Unity. Unite for the benefit of All. We are told by the authorities that We are All involved in this struggle against the Pandemic. That is true. Who cares where it came from. This Pandemic will totally ruin 2020 and pass into 2021 unless We take a stand and stand with Our Brothers and sisters, with All of America and the Globe.
America look how far You have come historically? America see what needs to be improved upon. I know there is a lot to consider, and the effort may seem to big to bare. Well don’t complain, don’t let the invisible forces of COVID-19 sway You from what is right.
When I hear the word “America” much comes to my mind. Freedom, The Promise of Equality and Fairness to The Masses. I see neighbour’s helping neighbours, while the many efforts to stop social evils such as poverty, racism, inequality, ignorance continue to be carried out by courageous Americans everywhere. America shines before me as an example of Righteous Power. America has the ability to want, dream, desire and do anything it cares to do.
You can be the Captain
and I can be the Cart.
Sailing into Destiny
Closer to the Heart
Closer to the Heart.
We Canadians look southward to Our cousins in America with hope in Our hearts and minds that America can be All that it can be. Be America the giver of life, the Torch of Freedom and the Hand of friendship.

  1. What nonsense! Rush and we presume it is Limbaugh can hardly save himself. For his innate racist nature is destroying him from within.

    None of this mek sense

  2. Pachamama,

Apparently he has advanced cancer. Hopefully his influence over American AND Barbadian mad people will soon end.

  3. MaDonna!

Yes, advanced, stage four, lung cancer.

All of our enemies are making their demise it seem. Good ridd.ance

  4. In some countries, like the US, dogs are better treated than Black people.

We are at this niggling issue again.

When has Limbaugh shown any level of humanity for his perceived political enemies.

For decades he has been poisoning the well of the demos with a White supremacist venom.

No, let this dog die and be exposed to the hottest but nonexistent fires.

    • @Pacha

The blogmaster is surprised you allow the behaviour of another to compromise what is humane. There is some work to be done with you yet. Will put up the under construction sign.

  5. David
We are generally open to personal reconstruction, always. But there are limits. For, like The Miller has said, some people cannot expect to rely on tender mercies after a lifetime of unremitting harm to Black people.

  6. Rush was diagnosed back in January.

He is receiving treatment and plenty prayers.

He is in the hearts of millions of well wishers.

The President gave him the medal of freedom shortly after the diagnosis at the SOTU speech.

  7. On 9th October 2020 Rush held the largest radio rally in history for Donald Trump, millions attended.

You can listen to it here!!

    • @John

Hopefully the many prayers being directed above on behalf of the Rush will have more currency than those offered by the Dr. Rev David Durant on behalf of late David Thompson.

  8. Rush Limbaugh is the most listened to radio talk show host among racist right wing wackos.

He is arguably the most malevolent force behind the perilous place black people in America and beyond find themselves in today.

You black people are too well-trained! Here it is that you believe you should have sympathy for the venemous human serpent who goes out of his way to poison you to death with his bite. I would have some sympathy for a real snake which has no brain function capable of altering his response. And even that snake does not go out of his way to strike.

The reason why white people know they can continue to treat black people worse than they treat their dogs is because they know that you are yet trying to prove yourselves human even to yourselves. By being more “humane” than they are.

But I have known my human status from birth. And I know that humans have a right to self-defence.

So, by the way, do dogs under the laws of Nature.

You may continue to be bound by the white man’s standards which he set for you without ever planning to abide by them himself.

    Not stinking Donna!

Killed a centipede this morning. Should I have allowed him to breed in my house so he and his offspring could terrorize me in my bed?

Nah, man! I kill he twice!

  9. His cancer, like David Thompson’s is terminal.

    He knows that.

Doctor’s reckoned he had 2 months to live back in January but the prayers and well wishes seem to be working.

Here is the most recent update on his cancer.

  10. As far as I was taught the prayers of the wicked have no effect with a good God.

If you believe in that sort of thing.

  11. @ David October 28, 2020 9:28 AM

The Miller does not judge or treat to people by the colour(s) of their skin; for
he knows the reason for the varying pigmentations found among homo sapiens.

You just cannot consider yourself a “Christian” and still be a racist.

  12. Most likely the best medical treatment his many millions can buy him. Just like Trump had the best medical treatment the taxpapers could buy him.

Money can buy time but death arrives eventually. Sooner for the poor and later for the rich.

It is definitely NOT any good spirit’s supernatural intervention that prolongs the terrible life force of this serpent.

  13. Donna

Their book tell us that we must love our enemies. That if we serve the Jews our place in the afterlife is certain. What a load of ……

  14. David,

Do we not “judge” murderers and rapists?

You need to put that in context. A little bit of Bible is very damaging.

  15. David

For people like Limbaugh we are not only the judge. We are the executioner as well. The bible has no influence on our thinking.

  16. Pachanama,

Let us agree that if we still live, we shall raise a glass together on the demise of the lethal force that is Rush Limbaugh and say,

“The serpent is dead. Long may he remain so!”

  17. DonnaOctober 28, 2020 11:16 AM

As if Rush has a bloody choice!

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    Yes he does.

He doesn’t have to believe in everlasting life!!

    But he does.

  18. @ John October 28, 2020 11:12 AM
“Rush is cool with his situation!!”
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Then he needs to do like your mythical Paul on his way to Damascus and see the Light of his stupidity and, indeed, puerile ignorance.

He needs to repent and apologize publicly for being a ‘blackened’ racist, if you accept that all people of any colour are created EQUAL in the sight of the God of this planet and in the image of the rainbow.

You, Sir John, ought to take a leaf out of that racist book before it is too late.

  19. If there is eternal life of the kind that nasty mess claims to believe in I’m willing to bet he has not yet received his pass.

    Filthy racist pig!

  20. We know that Uncle Toms still exist and always make themselves available for use by the racists.

The racists use them to deny their racism. Stupid argument. Doesn’t work with most people.

  21. Yes Donna, of course

A few weeks ago the most distinguished and even consummate idiot here was arguing strongly that that no reputable newspaper would print an article with attribution, a named writer, meaning anonymously, as his way of making the point that people here should be stating their names.

Well, one could hardly get more reputable, in mainstream media, than The New York Times and they have since 2018 done just that, before and after too. We see these anonymous articles from time to time in leading newspapers but could not locate one at the time.

This is not just an article it is an op-ed! Of course, the real editorial board knows the writer/s but nobody else.

For the record, here is more damning evidence that the ugly man from England represents that part of the anatomy which is best washed after a dump.

  22. Let me walk the brain dead through something they do not understand. An anonymous Op-Ed will only be anonymous to readers, but not the executives on the paper, Idiot. You duck and dive and fail to admit that you were wrong. You have a brain problem.
If you have a grasp of the English language, plse re-read what I said. Cut and paste it. There is difference between that and an anonymous person writing a letter to a publication disparaging a third person and the author remains unknown to the publication. Such a letter would go straight in the bin.

Apart from the typos, I stand by every word. It is basic journalism. I repeat again so that it can penetrate your thick skull. Even if the the informant is referred to in the publication as ‘a source’, that person will be known to the reporter, even if not to the editor.
And, again, plse open your brain: there is a fundamental difference between an anonymous letter to the editor and a source for a news story.
Why is it so difficult to understand simple things? Is it my fault for not explaining it well or you are just stupid?

You must stand your ground. They are bullies and aby attacking you they hope you will drift away. It is the morality of a thug – an anonymous thug.
What started this discussion was the use of pseudonyms; no respectable UK or US publication will publish a letter from an anonymous source libelling or being obnoxious about another reader.
To equate that with an anonymous source for a news story shows how ignorant people are of how publications operate. They may appear in the publication as a source, but they are know to the author, who does not even have to tell the editor who they are.
But the editor can decide not to publish the story. In the UK the editor is legally responsible for everything in his/her publication, not the publisher.
I try not to discuss journalism with the BU hawks; they know about everything and know nothing. If they are so brave, why don’t they come out from behind their masks? I fear that readers will realise they are bluffers and many of them do not know as much as they claim.

The ugly man is such an assh#ole
We have a situation here where all the elements in his recent pronouncement are present in relationship to the Bidens but yet he continues with his sublime ignorance.
Like the dishonest person he has always been he does not even bring the precise quotation for readers to evaluate. What a journalist is this Halton Austin!
Instead, he resorts to the trick of the pen to rephrase the quotation. These simplistic political tricks should have no use for a former journalist.

I apologise, that in 2020 a Barbadian can be so semi-literate that he cannot even understand simple English words. Let me repeat in Bajan: no editor of a reputable publication will publish a letter from an anonymous person attacking anyone. They will put it straight in the bin. Understand, in the bin. Further, no editor, but no editor, will deliberately publish a libellous letter. Clown.
Further, even if the letter writer is known, and asked for anonymity, a respectable editor will still not publish a letter making a personal attack anonymously.
The author must identify him/herself or the letter will not be published. That is journalism 101. Common sense tells you that. If anonymous letters making personal allegations were allowed all newspapers would be like BU.
Here again is what you said: ““The ugly man from england has recently argued that no “respectable” newspaper would do such – publish an article without proper attribution, by-line”
Do not write about things you do not understand. A letter to the editor is not an article; you attribute claims and allegations in news stories; you source in features; and a by-line is something you give an author, a news reporter or features writer. A letter writer’s name on a letter is not called a by-line in journalism.
I know it is not the practice on BU, but if you do not know what you are talking about admit it.

    Halton Austin, yuh cunthole!!
This represents proof certain. The above was penned by you, a stinking dog, less than two weeks ago.
Maybe, you could tell us where we have ever ‘cut and pasted’ anything without attribution of the sources. Give us one fucking example.
We have never pretended to have any expert knowledge about professional journalism, it has never so interested us, beyond as consumer/observer, but you have.
However, nobody here would recognize you as such.

You are a cretin and you get away with it. You create myths and try to force them on to others. You fabricate and back up your stories with your violent, foulmouthed crap. Sadly, the not so bright often agree with you.
As they say on BU, you are now shifting the argument. Here is what you said: “The ugly man from england has recently argued that no “respectable” newspaper would do such – publish an article without proper attribution, by-line”
Bring the evidence. Prove it, you mental defect. I am aware that those on BU who cannot debate resort to hitting below the belt. It is learning by rote, ignorance, the rum shop.

The ugly man from england has recently argued that no “respectable” newspaper would do such – publish an article without proper attribution, by-line. But for some conservatives The Post is indeed “respectable”.

The point being that if you are powerful enough you can bend media to your will. All these socalled standards mean nothing.

Separately, we have seen the NYT, as well, not be so blatantly corrupt in this way, but attribute authorship to a group of scientists and so on.

    We await their ugly justifications.

  25. I can’t believe that an entire column is devoted to Rush Limbaugh of all people. I will feel insulted should I die of cancer, the same type of cancer that is taking this bigot to his (hopefully not) resting place. The sooner we see the back of this racist bastard, the better.

  26. Why am I in moderation for cutting and pasting what a previous contributor said? Certainly it cannot be the language he used?

  27. Uh-oh! Pacha, I told you before you are missing what the man said completely. Do as I do and seperate the man from the comment. Then read it again.

  28. Donna, I am not waiting until the bastard dies. After reading your comment, I went to the cupboard and poured myself a brandy……just in case I pop this earthly body before he does. Then, i will roam the universe like all the spirits I see and the one who has taken up residence in my house.

  29. Dame Bajans,

  32. Today’s Nation Editorial.

    Politics and justice
THE UNITED STATES Supreme Court in Washington, D.C., is thousands of miles away from Barbados and its decisions are of little interest to people on this island trying to contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and get the economy firing once again. Yet, what happens in the superpower neighbour to the North garners interest even if it does not impact us.
Such is the situation with the elevation of Amy Coney Barrett to sit as one of the nine justices on the highest court in the US. Her name has become recognisable internationally if only because of the contention surrounding her selection and the partisan politics involved.
We must be extremely elated that Barbados can appoint a new Chief Justice, Patterson Cheltenham, who takes up duties on November 1 following a process which was not reduced to a farcical comedy, as the recent spectacle surrounding Justice Barrett’s selection.
We find the words of former Chief Justice Beverley McLachlin of Canada, on the appointment of judges to the Supreme Court in her homeland, resonate with what we expect of judicial appointments. That they appear “to respect the dual requirements of choice based on merit and preservation of judicial independence, in my own view, the goal should be to appoint individuals who embody the most valuable judicial qualities of competence, impartiality, empathy and wisdom”.
What we have been witnessing in the US is the elevation of partisan politics into the heart of a branch of the government which was always intended to be free of political influence.
There is no separation of the conservative and liberal political stands which have been so very polarising and destructive in that republic. Perhaps this approach by the Americans lays bare the idea that judges, like other men, are not divorced from politics.
Fortunately for the Americans, there have been some openminded justices on the Supreme Court who have not always blindly followed the political ideology of the presidents who nominated them, but have rather been guided in their decisions through well thought out interpretations of the law.
The political slant of the US Supreme Court is not the only thing our judiciary has been spared. The life tenure the justices in Washington enjoy is not only unique, but in effect allows a select few people to hold extraordinary power in our view for far too long. The time a judge at the highest level serves should not be a topic of discussion only for legal scholars
and politicians, but average citizens who must have an interest in ensuring the law works to their benefit.
Barbados’ system to fill the post of Chief Justice, Court of Appeal justices and High Court judges is now a transparent process, guided by a recruitment and selection policy that gives qualified applicants a fair chance. In such circumstances, our judiciary should not be toxic, but treat all people equally, and deliver just and timely decisions.

  33. “Barbados’ system to fill the post of Chief Justice, Court of Appeal justices and High Court judges is now a transparent process, guided by a recruitment and selection policy that gives qualified applicants a fair chance. steuppppsss

wait until people start givimg the MO of that one everywhere…as was done before…

  34. @ WURA
Yet everybody knew who the Chief Justice was going to be. I don’t care what they say about CJ Gibson , he was never accepted by the inner circle and while I’m not defending his tenure, I find it strange that he was supposed to come in just so, and clean up a justice system that has been essentially out of whack for a half century before he came.
We are as transparent as a bottle of Guinness.

  35. @wura
You focused on the last paragraph.
I thought it started wrong And ended wrong.

“THE UNITED STATES Supreme Court in Washington, D.C., is thousands of miles away from Barbados and its decisions are of little interest to people on this island trying to contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and get the economy firing once again.”

Small point, but we are interested in all things American even founding fathers

    • We have commenters on BU living in the USA, why should we not discuss world affairs? Do we live in a bubble?

  36. If world war 3 starts we can shout, “Count me out!” Didn’t work with Hitler.

Man, America is the world’s superpower . What happens in America concerns us all!

Besides, who can take their eyes off a crazy madman’s antics????

  37. Things in barbados dread so expect to see more articles of this kind all heading down tge rabbit hole
The economic news dire however we got a PM spending hundreds and thousands of dollars on a bi- election
One would think that govt. would be sensitive to the plight of the people of SGN and resist Politricks of a financial kind which can backfire in PM face
Today Barjam blames Mia for the failure of three of the candidates to debate
Stating that her big mouth sent a wave of speculation and perceptions in the minds of many that she had much influence in the staging and preparation of the debates

  38. WURA,

It seems the latest police killing of a black man with a knife was a case of mental health issues. They called the ambulance. The demons turned up first.

The mentally ill man who killed Nation photographer, Kristoff Griffith and chopped the Guyanese site worker to pieces is still alive in the Psychiatric Hospital.

These American police turn up and shoot to kill. Always fearing for their lives, these big, beefy men.

  39. Donna..people have been avoiding calling the police for that reason, problem is if you call one emergency service, they all turn up..including killer cops.

“Stating that her big mouth sent a wave of speculation and perceptions in the minds of many that she had much influence in the staging and preparation of the debates”

that one really backfired, no one saw it coming, a result of mimicking negatives instead of positives from bigger countries..

  40. “Yet everybody knew who the Chief Justice was going to be”

and everybody know all about him too, it’s no secret in Barbados what he has been doing for years, it was even a months long debate on a social media platform, people still have all the information that came from a very credible source, the horse’s mouth….

No one expected Gibson to clean up fully the corrupt supreme court without help, which he was never going to get from the same corrupt people who installed him to begin with, but he could have been more forceful and asked for outside help, it’s not like he was trapped in Barbados, but he has learned the hard way, that when you do their dirty work for them, they make sure your reputation takes a big hit so you cannot talk or be believed., successfully muzzled.

  41. Theo…i only focused on the last part because the individual has so much to hide and it was amazing who exposed him before…it was quite the show…

“Load of crap! Man was handpicked. But he seems to have a good reputation”

no he don’t, personal injury claimants will tell you, when they finally find out, he also works for the same insurance company that they have in court and he said not a word to them, someone else always have to tell them what he’s doing…..some old criminal activity against injured people, the elderly, etc..
it should come as no surprise even to you who believe they have redeeming qualities, i assure you they have NONE…

  42. We have commenters on BU living in the USA, why should we not discuss world affairs? Do we live in a bubble?…(Quote)

Right. Does this mean people who do not live in Barbados are allowed to comment on Barbadian affairs?

① ② ③ the best thing that come out of Amerikkka is the black coloured thread that is weaved into the tapestry of his story of slavery, segregation, jim crow and institutional white supremacy racism manifestations is the Afrikan Soul Muzak riddims found in blues, bop, jazz, soul, disco, house, R&B, rap and reggae carried away from caribbean and also present in the American songbook of the European styles as blacks are musically versatile in fine style. The slavemasters took away the african instruments that the slaves used but they didn’t take away the african rhythms of their heart which beat to the sound of the afrikan drum and is embedded in their dna code and part of their physicality mentality and spirituality. There is one black white chap mixed up half chat who said slaves were happy but he was well wrong. When you listen to lyrics of all the blak singers and players of instruments dancers and artists who are dead and gone already from spanning greats like Josephine Baker, Bessie Smith, Robert Johnson, Billie Holliday, BB King, John Coltrane, Nina Simone, Quincy Jones and many many more of the plethora of individuals who paved the way and who are unumbered like the stars in the sky, they all had one thing in common, that they suffered the wickedness of racism.

  45. Fwd: From a Virginia State Police sergeant who had to work the Trump visit in Newport News, VA
    October 30, 2020 at 9:50:47 AM EDT

A good read for those whose searching for real answers to a sickening and complicated environment in the USA.

    Difference between good and evil.

From a Virginia State Police sergeant who had to work the Trump visit in Newport News, VA and his upfront and very close observations

I attended the President’s rally in Newport News, yesterday. Not like I wanted to though, I was deployed there in my official capacity. Got the word late Thursday night, and answered the call.

I’m exceptionally thankful for this experience because I got to see oil and water, SIDE BY SIDE. Literally a few feet apart. I’m now even more absolutely certain that I support the correct side. I’d like to tell anyone that wants to hear it, what I saw.

The first half of the assignment I was overwhelmed by the community support! While moving to our staging point, the citizens were phenomenal in their vocal support of us. American flags/blue line flags/Trump flags were waiving, people were thanking us, praying for us, letting us know how much the “silent majority” supports us and how they will be heard on Election Day. Contrary to what the media and the left would report, I saw THOUSANDS of beautiful, patriotic blacks, Asians, Latinos, whites, and everything in between, being respectful and conducting themselves with the utmost decency. They said they loved us and were praying for us. You would have thought that this event was a parade to honor the police. I cannot lie to you, I teared up more than once. You can listen to the media garbage if you like, but something real is happening just like it did 4 years ago.

Not long after the sun set, BLM showed up. I do not support this Marxist organization, but I do have to protect their free speech. I stood in the two feet between them and the passing rally participants. I am absolutely convinced of a demonic influence in the group. I (we) have absorbed a lot over the last 3-4 months, but last night was exceptionally evil. I listened to BLM tell us that our mothers should have aborted us, they called us bastards, pigs, racists, bacon, etc, etc. I even saw a guy dressed like Satan trying to stare a hole through me. Once they realized we were not fazed by their garbage, they turned it on the rally participants. Respectful and peaceful men, women and children of all shapes, sizes and colors, were then getting the vitriol that had been hurled at the police. I expect this garbage because I wear a badge and I am the symbol of what they hate. But these innocent people did not deserve any of it. Even amongst the most vile comments being shouted at them, most of which I will not repeat, many rally participants did not hesitate to continue thanking us and praying for our safety. When BLM could not get anyone to “bite their hooks,” They moved to the city streets. We spent the rest of the night keeping them from impeding traffic.

I lost track of how many times someone threatened to “beat my ass,” but I recall how quickly a particular male (I won’t say “man,” because he was clearly a coward, and not worthy of being referred to as a man) shut his mouth and backed up when I promptly stepped over the line that he indicated would result in my ass-beating. 50-60 humans with their cell phones, megaphones and whinny voices, and not one honorable man or woman among them. Just foul-mouthed garbage, yelling factually incorrect media lies, all night. At the end they were indicating that they were not tired and could go all night. It was near midnight when they almost immediately dispersed. I guess they were actually tired and hungry, and needed to get back to their parent’s basement. I know this group does not represent the entirety of the left, but I believe the Democratic Party has been high-jacked by evil, and they are turning our young people into useful idiots.

The blue line, each of us clad in nearly 60lbs of gear matched them step for step, and held the line until the cowards dispersed. I serve with some truly amazing and honorable people!

  48. One week away from Election Day and President Trump could not have gotten better news regarding the economy if he had written the script himself.

President Trump actually got two pieces of good news, both of which should make voters hesitate to pull the handle for Joe Biden next week.

The United States GDP grew by 33.1 percent last quarter as well as jobless claims being far lower than expected.

    Great News for Trump
The gain in the GDP is very significant, as it shows this economy is rebounding far sooner than expected.

The annualized pace of 33.1 percent was the single most significant increase in the GDP in the third quarter EVER.

Right now, the economy is only behind its pre-COVID level by 3.5 percent.

This is all growth that will be stunted if Joe Biden takes over and decides to shut down the country again.

Jobless claims were also down significantly.

For the week ending October 24, claims declined by 40,000 over the previous week and were about 7,000 less than expected.

Even though this number can fluctuate rather dramatically from week-to-week, the rolling average is also down, which is a great sign that people are starting to go back to work.

The next week will be a challenge for Trump, however, as airlines are expected to announce massive layoffs due to no stimulus help as of yet.

Additionally, many restaurants around the country were taking advantage of the warmer weather to keep customer counts up.

As colder weather starts to seep in, it will be curious to see how creative the restaurant industry gets to remain open and keep its employees working.

  49. Ingraham: Trump ‘likely saved us’ by resisting ‘unproven strategies’ for fighting pandemic

    By Charles Creitz
Ingraham: GDP numbers more proof of ‘the Great Trump Recovery’
Laura Ingraham compares Trump’s economic record to that of the Democrats on ‘The Ingraham Angle’

Thursday’s announcement that the U.S. GDP grew at an annualized pace by more than 33% in the third quarter shows President Trump has overseen an economic recovery from COVID-19, Laura Ingraham argued.

“Today’s third-quarter GDP report is astounding, 33.1% on an annualized basis,” the “Ingraham Angle” host began. “And remember, it wasn’t so long ago that the ‘experts’ had a different GDP in mind.

Other pundits, Ingraham noted, downplayed the numbers as “the easy part” of the recovery.

If that’s the case, she asked rhetorically, “if President Trump’s stewardship of our economy was so obvious, why is it that every other country in the G7 is doing much worse?

EUROPE CORONAVIRUS CASES CONTINUE TO SPIKE AMID CALLS FOR SECOND LOCKDOWN

“The Wall Street Journal survey of economists has us only down 3.6% for the year, markedly better than what the IMF estimates that every one of our European counterparts [will see],” Ingraham continued.

Meanwhile, she said, Biden and his team would have put American in a far worse place, an allusion to Democrats’ acceptance of and support for more draconian lockdown measures and dire warnings.

“President Trump, having seen what a media superstar Dr. [Anthony] Fauci had become, he couldn’t just let Fauci decide everything from when it is safe to get on a train to when your kids can play t-ball again,” Ingraham said. “The media would’ve loved that, all those daily COVID briefings, all the talk of shared sacrifice as they headed off to the Hamptons to blow off steam on the weekends.”

“In Florida today, Biden claims that the president endangered the country by not listening to the experts,” she concluded. “No, Joe. Trump likely saved us by resisting their unproven strategies that somehow, someway, always lead to more power for them and less freedom for us.”

    • What does encouraging people to wear masks, wash hands regularly and social distancing got to do with lockdown?

  54. Trump Heads Into Election Day with an “Ace Up His Sleeve”
    by Joseph Curl

Previous post-World War II record was 16.7% growth in 1950. After its worst quarter in history, the U.S. economy just posted its best quarter in history.

For July, August, and September, the gross domestic product (GDP), which measures total goods and services produced, grew at the record-shattering pace 0f 33.1% on an annualized basis. The previous post-World War II record was the 16.7% growth in the first quarter of 1950. The new burst came after a 31.4% plunge in the second quarter.

“This record economic growth is absolute validation of President Trump’s policies which create jobs and opportunities for Americans in every corner of the country,” President Donald Trump’s campaign said in a statement. “The President built the world’s best economy once and he’s rapidly doing it again, proving that cutting taxes and reducing regulations and red tape clear the way for American ingenuity and our entrepreneurial spirit to thrive.”

“We have regained more than half of the jobs lost to the global pandemic in less than six months, while it took more than two years to regain half of job losses from a recession while Joe Biden was in charge. President Trump will continue to safely reopen the country, while Biden is the candidate of lockdowns, inviting another economic shutdown which would devastate working people and cause even more health problems above and beyond what the coronavirus has caused,” the campaign said.

The Trump campaign also blasted Trump’s opponent, Democratic nominee Joe Biden, saying he “has been an economic disaster for nearly five decades in Washington, backing disastrous trade deals and putting China’s interests ahead of American workers. Biden’s plans for a $4 trillion tax increase and Green New Deal regulations on every person, business, building, and farm in the nation would kill this recovery while it’s already in full swing. For voters, the choice is simple: It’s a Trump boom versus a Biden depression.”

Larry Kudlow, director of the United States National Economic Council, also lauded the numbers. “We’ve never had anything remotely close to this,” Kudlow said Thursday on Fox News. “And let me add, this thing was kicking on all cylinders. Automobile production, for example, up over 1,100 percent in the third quarter, big numbers on consumer spending, big numbers on housing, big numbers on capital equipment machinery and manufacturing and so forth.”

Kudlow also said that inventories are depleted, “so inventories are going to be rebuilt. This quarter the momentum is going into the fourth quarter and will go into 2021, assuming policies are good. This is not a one time in fact this is going to go on. It’s a strong, strong recovery. The V shaped concept that I coined a while back, looking pretty good right now.”

Kudlow said by late this winter or early spring, “we will regain all of the Lost output that we suffered during the terrible pandemic contraction, this past winter, and the first half of the year. So it’s an optimistic view.”

The 69-year-old firebrand said he’s receiving treatment for the cancer but did not provide further details. “There are going to be days that I’m not going to be able to be here,” he said on his show Monday. During a discussion with a caller to “The Rush Limbaugh Show” back in April 2015, Limbaugh denied second-hand smoke was a danger and said it takes 50 years for smokers to get cancer.
The caller was questioning Limbaugh’s logic that society should be thankful for smokers because of the tax money generated from the sale of tobacco products.

  57. Black Support For Trump Now At Game-Changing Level
    by John Nolte

The daily Rasmussen Reports poll that tracks black support for President Donald Trump shows the president sitting at 31 percent as of Thursday, just five days before the election. In 2016, according to exit polls, Trump earned just eight percent of the black vote, compared to 88 percent for Hillary Clinton.

So if Rasmussen is wrong, let’s say by a factor of two, if support from likely black voters ends up being just half of what the pollster found, just 15 or 16 percent, Trump would still end up doubling his 2016 share of the black vote, which would mean he won more black support than any modern Republican presidential contender. Bob Dole won 12 percent of the black vote in 1996 and that was considered a big deal, although he still got drubbed.

Rasmussen has also been tracking Trump’s job approval with black Americans and has watched it creep up to as high as 46 percent as recently as last week. While this is an outlier poll, it is not the first one showing increased support for Trump with, not only black voters, but also Hispanic voters. In 2016, Trump won just 28 percent of the Hispanic vote, which was right in line with Mitt Romney and John McCain, but well below George W. Bush’s 44 percent in 2004.

A recent IBD/TIPP poll shows Trump’s support with Hispanics at 36.5 percent and his support with blacks at 15 percent. In the most recent IBD/TIPP poll, Biden only earns 79.5 percent of the black vote, well below Hillary’s 88 percent. Trump earns just nine percent of the black vote, but has 36 percent support with Hispanics. So what do we know for sure…?

Well, it seems that Trump has juiced his black support either a little or a whole lot, and hasn’t lost any ground despite a 24/7 corporate media propaganda campaign meant to smear him as a racist. It also seems as though Trump has definitely increased his share of the Hispanic vote, which makes you wonder about the early vote returns we’re seeing in states like Nevada and Arizona, where the race is going to be close.

Did black and Hispanic voters who support Trump change their party affiliation to Republican? Since we only know how many Republicans and Democrats returned their ballots or voted early in person, this could mean there are more Democrat early votes for Trump than what’s expected when those ballots are opened and counted on Election Day.

There’s no question that, unlike any Republican I can remember, Trump has spent considerable time and political capital reaching out to the black community and producing in the form of record low unemployment, criminal justice reform, and an openness to serious dialogue.

This is one the primary reasons Democrats and the corrupt media have spent so much time and energy lying about Trump being a racist. If the Democrats lose even 25 percent of the black vote, they are finished as a major American party.

  60. Top Republican Confirms: Biden Is Out Of The Game
    by Patriot Edition

The media has been scrambling for weeks ever since the bombshell story of Hunter’s emails hit the world. Evidence suggests that both Hunter and his father were colluding with foreign entities to enrich themselves, all the while Joe Biden was vice president. Biden and the left have tried to discredit the revelations. But a top Republican congressman just spoiled their day.

Once again, a top Democratic candidate has been foiled by emails. It’s almost eerie to think how similar this is to 2016. Hillary Clinton was accused of wrongdoing, but got off thanks to a corrupt FBI head. But right before the election, a laptop was discovered with emails that forced the agency to reopen the case. Today, Biden has been running from allegations that he was comprised as vice president because of his son’s business contacts. But there was little evidence to prove it. But just before the election, a laptop was discovered containing emails that suggest Biden was actually working with his son to cash in.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg of what was on that laptop. If the DOJ bothers to investigate this bombshell, Hunter Biden might go away for a long time. And his daddy won’t be far behind.
Democrats and their hounds in the media have claimed all sorts of things about this laptop. Adam Schiff claimed (with zero evidence) that it was Russian disinformation. Some news outlets (like NPR) said they wouldn’t even talk about it—they must have been really scared.

But now a top Republican is blowing the lid off this case, saying the emails are as “real as real can get.” Emails from Hunter Biden’s alleged laptop detailing his business dealings with foreign entities and other matters are authentic, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) said earlier this week…

“Maria, they’re as real as real can be. We have the eye-witness [Tony Bobulinski] who said these are authentic, these are real. The ‘big guy’ in one of these emails does in fact mean Joe Biden, and he himself had spoke to former Vice President Biden. So, this is as real as it gets,” Jordan said. “And here’s the fundamental question: why won’t Joe Biden say they’re not real? If they’re not accurate, if these aren’t accurate emails, why won’t the Biden’s say so?” [Source: Daily Wire]

We’ve seen from notable sources confirmation of this laptop and the emails it continues. Heck, there were pictures of Hunter and Joe on the laptop—where did those come from? Director of National Intelligence confirmed it wasn’t Russian disinformation. The FBI also confirmed that. Then, a former business partner of Hunter’s, Tony Bobulinski, apparently provided documents that proved the accuracy of the emails.

Now Jordan is also confirming that everything we’ve hearing is real. He also points out the glaring fact that neither Biden nor his campaign has clearly stated that the emails are fake. Now, why wouldn’t they do that? They might fear that if they come out strongly denying the emails—and they’re proven real by the feds or others—they’re caught in an obvious lie.

They are counting on the media to bury the story, so Joe doesn’t have to cop to the truth. Much like Hillary did when she refused to talk about her illegal email server, pay-for-play deals at the State Department, and ailing health. Now Joe Biden is trying to hide from his son’s shady laptop, accusations of payouts as vice president, and his ailing health.

How, history does really repeat itself, doesn’t it? Much like the situation with his health, Biden and the Democrats are ignoring the reality of these emails. They hope that Americans will be too stupid to see the writing and the wall and blindly vote for a man accused of a mountain of corruption. A man promising to undo the prosperity of the Trump administration and drag us back into the Obama dark age (and worse). But something tells me this will all blow up in Joe’s face.

CAN ALL THESE THINGS BE TRUE?

  66. Joe Biden’s Wife Knew There Was a Problem When She Saw Him in This Condition HE HAS BEEN IN FOR MONTHS

Joe Biden’s handlers have stashed the former Vice President away in his basement out of fear the public will learn the truth about Biden’s condition. But now they have a big problem on their hands. And that’s because Joe Biden’s wife knew there was a problem when she saw him in this condition. Joe Biden’s declining mental state has been obvious to many Americans.

It’s one of the main reasons Biden’s handlers don’t allow him to run a traditional campaign schedule and try to keep him sequestered in his Delaware basement.
But the Biden campaign is once again confronting questions about the candidate’s mental fitness after a shocking video of Biden on a virtual campaign event exploded virally across the internet. In the clip, a dazed and confused Joe Biden forgot who he was running against and twice referred to President Trump as George W. Bush. Biden’s wife Jill can clearly be seen whispering “Trump” to correct her husband.

This disturbing video followed footage of an out of sorts Joe Biden wandering around clearly having no idea where he was or what he was doing while his wife spoke at a campaign event in Pennsylvania. As the few remaining undecided voters make up their mind about who they want to support, footage that will only enhance suspicions that Joe Biden is senile will surely cost him votes.

  68. Poll predicts electoral college victory for Trump
    October 29, 2020

Traditional polls have President Donald Trump losing the general election next week. As we learned in 2016, however, traditional polls can’t be trusted. So, let’s look at a non-traditional poll.
The University of Southern California (USC) this week has published a poll – a poll that in 2016 outperformed traditional polls – suggesting that President Trump is going to be reelected.

The poll is the USC Dornsife Daybreak poll, which is different from USC’s standard poll. USC’s standard poll, by the way, has Biden easily winning, 53 to 43 percent. Not so much with the Dornsife Daybreak poll.

The difference between the two is in the question that participants are asked to answer. Traditional polls ask participants who they intend to vote for. The Dornsife Daybreak poll, instead, asks a “social desirability” question. The particular social desirability question that pollsters asked here was “Do you think your friends and neighbors are voting for Trump?”

According to the pollster, “in all five of the elections in which we tested this question, the social circle question predicted election outcomes better than traditional questions about voters’ own intentions. These five elections were the 2016 U.S. Presidential election, the 2017 French Presidential election, the 2017 Dutch Parliamentary election, the 2018 Swedish Parliamentary election, and the 2018 U.S. election for House of Representatives.”

The pollster also noted that “data from the social-circle question in 2016 accurately predicted which candidate won each state, so it predicted Trump’s electoral college victory.” So, what’s the prediction this time around using this social desirability question? According to the USC, although Democratic President Nominee Joe Biden is ahead in terms of popularity, by four to five points, “it’s looking like an Electoral College loss for Biden.”

The question that has to be asked is “why has this polling approach been getting more accurate results?” A hint may lie in a study that was conducted by CoudResearch and released back in August. That study found that almost 12 percent of Republicans were unwilling to honestly tell pollsters who they were intending to vote for. The corresponding number for Democratic voters was about 5 percent. This means Republicans are more than twice as likely as Democrats to lie during a poll. The reason for this is obvious: being a Republican these days is difficult. It could cost you your job, your property, and even your safety. Better to lie to the pollsters, and be honest on election day.

We’ll have to see if USC’s approach is right once again.

  71. McCarthy: ‘we don’t know’ if Biden could ‘legally’ stay in office if elected
By Christine Favocci on October 30, 2020

The media may be trying to ignore the scandal about shady foreign business transactions Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and his family were possibly involved in, but the problem won’t just go away if he wins on Election Day. On Fox Business Network’s “Lou Dobbs Tonight” Thursday, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) hinted that Biden could be removed from office if he wins next week because of apparent corruption and physical and mental unfitness.

While speculating on President Donald Trump’s re-election prospects, McCarthy touted the GOP incumbent’s enthusiastic supporters who show up to rallies across the nation by the thousands as a positive sign. He juxtaposed that with Biden whom he hasn’t seen “having any rally more past a few hundred people” coupled with his consistent inability to get out and campaign signaling Biden’s poor health.

“The interesting part here is, Joe Biden, for those who know and those who are sitting out asking, they know he cannot sustain that job as a president,” McCarthy later said. “So, if Joe Biden cannot sustain it, one, for the activity we’re finding out now with Hunter Biden and himself — so we don’t know if legally he could stay in the office. You don’t know from his capacity if he has to put a lid on it, almost every other day, from a physical point of view to do the job. But Kamala Harris taking the job of presidency?”

Meanwhile, the president has been able to accomplish so much with “just the number today, 33.1[%] for GDP,” McCarthy continued. “That’s not a good number, Lou, that is the greatest number this country has ever seen in its history. This is the leadership of this president and what the future holds.”

The Biden family is embroiled in a mess that the mainstream media have downplayed and social media suppressed. A cache of private emails revealed how members of Joe Biden’s family allegedly traded on his name and political position to make deals oversees. Tony Bobulinski, one of son Hunter Biden’s former business associates, has gone on the record saying as much and confirming it may have also happened with Joe Biden’s knowledge and consent.

“There’s a possibility that Joe Biden is actually compromised by the Chinese Communist Party,” Rep. Dan Crenshaw, (R-TX) said on Fox News’ “Fox and Friends” Wednesday. “Here’s why,” he continued. “We know for a fact, this is undisputed, that Hunter Biden has gone around the world getting sweetheart deals because of his family’s name.”

Crenshaw, McCarthy, Dobbs, and anyone else paying attention can see that Joe Biden is the most problematic presidential candidate in modern times. Had he not benefited from the assistance of the liberal media in cahoots with Big Tech to run interference, the 2020 presidential race would be a blowout for Trump — and it just might be in spite of that anyway.

Stating that her big mouth sent a wave of speculation and perceptions in the minds of many that she had much influence in the staging and preparation of the debates.”

Can you explain why BARJAM chose to go ahead with the debate?

  73. Thursday on FNC’s “Fox & Friends,” former star NFL running back Herschel Walker sounded off on his efforts in the African-American community to have black people to look at supporting President Donald Trump.

Walker said “a lot of the African-Americans” are researching Trump’s policies that he has delivered on, and “they are starting to switch.” “What I have heard is a lot of the African-Americans are starting to look at the policies that Donald Trump has delivered, and they are starting to switch,” Walker emphasized.

“You know, one of the most interesting things that happened to me a couple of days ago, I happened to come upon a couple of African-American women after coming out of bible study. They were watching Barack Obama make a speech, and they was totally upset because they said that he told some things that wasn’t true,” he recalled. “And they started flipping the channel around, and they came upon Fox, and they noticed that Fox was doing the Barack Obama speech as well. And they flipped back to whatever channel they were watching, and they said that they never showed Donald Trump’s speech. And they figured something was wrong, and they started researching. And they said that for the first time in over 20-plus years they are going to vote Republican.”

The former Heisman winner went on to explain that 2020 Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his team are pandering for black Americans’ votes, which he called “sad.”

@William Skinner October 29, 2020 11:20 AM, “I find it strange that he was supposed to come in just so, and clean up a justice system that has been essentially out of whack for a half century before he came.”

And yet he chose to join a system that was “out of whack for a half century before he came”

    Can you explain why?
