George Floyd – Black Man Treated Like a Dog by White Policeman in the USA

The FBI is investigating the death of George Floyd, black man who was pinned on the neck by a police officer and later died in custody. Minnesota’s Attorney General Keith Ellison joins The Beat with Ari Melber’s breaking coverage on the latest from the FBI and the protests. While the officers involved have yet to be charged, Ellison argues a “quick arrest” might “make people feel better about justice” it is “important” for investigators to “take the time to make sure that these charges, if they are brought forward, stick.

    I am going to be most unpopular. Two wrongs do not make things right. Where is the protest when genocidal killing of blacks by other blacks occur? When ever there is an incident like what happened, there is invariably looting of stores and supermarkets and arson. Some years ago in the UK ,the same reaction was observed over the alleged wrongful death of a black man. The rioting went on for days with looting and arson. The funny thing is that in similar circumstances, the looting and arson take place mostly against the properties of people of the same hue as the looters. The latter is something that should be reflected on.

    So very right! Note that absolutely no reasonable person defends the alleged torture and/or murder of Barbadian suspects by any Barbadian police officer(s). This is another red herring in the particular discussion focused on white police officer(s) gratuitously killing unarmed blacks in the US.

    The alleged failure to remedy such injustices in Barbados, among other injustices, absent prompt, thorough, and independent investigation, is probably more evidence of Barbados’ status as a lawless, “failed state”, lacking any transparency and any accountability.

    But this issue of corruption in Barbados and non-working institutions is, logically, totally separate and distinct from the issue of white police ritually murdering unarmed blacks in the U.S.

    A close friend once served as Chair of the Legal Redress Committee of one of the state premier civil rights organizations here for several years. For various reasons, he attempted to obtain the National figures/statistics for white police officers killing blacks for decades. He consulted the FBI. He consulted other authorities.

    Such figures were never available.

    How does one move serious political, social and legal change on this small issue of murders, based solely on anecdotal reports?

    Context also: A bogus grand jury system (often refusing to indict a murderous white police officer) also guaranteed injustice.

    The black victim’s family was then left to file civil suit, where they were usually awarded/or settled for a pittance, when compared to the U.S $ 33 million awarded against O.J Dimpson and a similar amount awarded in Robert Blake’s (Baretta) civil case. How much money did Eric Garner’s Estate settle for? Trayvon Martin? Philando Castile? Freddie Gray? The going rate might have been US $1 million to US $6 million?

    The disproportionate settlements again illustrate, among other things, the relatively low value assigned to black lives and provides the raison d’etre for “Black Lives Matter” and other such activists.

    Without the underlying atrocities… just check the history including a police murder or two of blacks in NY in the 1950s, there would be no need for such groups.

    Floyd’s Murder, as he pleaded for his life, like Eric Garner’s “I cant breathe”, is deja vu all over again.

Let us agree protesters damaging property is wrong. Also let us agree the protest by Blacks and others is a manifestation of years of abuse against Blacks by the White establishment.     Re Black on Black crime, I have always found this an interesting “counter-argument”. Some time back, I saw Dr. Ben Carson, M.D, raise the argument.

    But how is Black on Black crime a valid defense against a charge that another white police officer unlawfully murdered an unarmed black citizen? (Cf. Walter Scott’s Murder in South Carolina as he ran desperately from the white policeman who repeatedly shot him in the back, dropped an extra gun, then claimed that he shot Scott in self-defense since he was afraid that Scott, despite running for his life, would turn around and assault him).

    Does it matter that near 85% of white victims, per FBI figures, are murdered by other whites?

    But what are the implications of this rather curious Black on Black counter-argument?

    Are its proponents saying that some deplorably ignorant, misguided and misdirected young blacks on the South Side of Chicago, or L.A, rather than kill off each other, should kill George Zimmerman, his family; the McMichaels in Ahmaud Arbery’s case; ditto the Police officers – e.g In Floyd’s case, et al – and those involved in the very many such unwarranted and unlawful killings? A sort of intra-communal “eye for an eye”, “a tooth for a tooth”?

    I read somewhere that the late, great Marcus Mosiah Garvey, faced with the KKK atrocities in the early twentieth century, proposed black self-defense militias? Are the critics/proponents of the black on black crime, as a defense, suggesting that Blacks stop killing each other, organize and respond, instead, to the aggressions initiated by a sometimes bigoted officer of the law? After all, there are already tons of armed white militias in these here United States?

    There is to my mind no valid reason for pursuing this curious argument. I once encountered a similar argument decades ago when it was argued that 90%+ of crimes in S.E London (Brixton, etc) was committed by Blacks.

    It merely seems to represent another form of handwringing amid the desperate pathology which continues to afflict blacks throughout the Diaspora.

But common sense is a scarce commodity, as it has long been. In the USA this is a demographic reality, as most Blacks and Hispanics generally , or largely, live apart from Euro-Americans.

    We are therefore forced to conclude that ROBERT LUCAS and his fellow travelers are modern day negroes whose very existence depends on hatred of self and an uncompromising obeisance to White anti-human thinking. He therefore is well worthy of death from their continuing thought crimes against Black people.

    There is another layer of pseudo-sophisticated Blacks who seek to engage in White apologetics. Though less visceral more obsequiously dangerous in content.

    To them, this writer recognizes no grey areas. Another lie which only serves to justify a misbegotten sense of reality for them.

    They try to argue that all Whites are not the same. That they have personal and long-lasting relationships with some White people as if to again colour or distract from the fundamental issue at stake here.

    Even this writer’s live is intersected by White culture but the question of systemic racism as the most vicious social system ever invented will never take a backseat to familial or other ties.

    This officer in Minn. also has over 15 prior complaints…. But it’s fairly well understood that guys like him become emboldened as they get ‘over’ continually and thus it’s just a matter of time before they go too far… Also a fact if life that there are many more like him who abuse their authority in his police department and ours right here and in EVERY dept world over.

    Thus, to read educated folks conflate the ineffectual police discipline or discriminatory justice practices towards disadvantaged/poor litigants in Bim with this level of US police criminality is absolutely ridiculous.

    Across the US and surely in UK or Canada the episodes of lengthy (unconscionable) remand of the poor on trivial crimes or special treatment for POs accused of crimes is WORST than Bim in sheer number of cases, egregious nature of the cases and too the depraved corruption/indifference fueling the cases.

    I have cited here previously the case of a just out-of-his teens Black youth who was sent to NY notorious Rikers island on remand for over 2 years (unable to post the bail) … His great crime: allegedly stealing a backpack.

    Young Kalief Browder was literally abused and effed up by the system and two years after being finally released (all charges were dropped for lack of proper evidence) when the young man spiralled into grave depression from his too painful ordeal and hanged himself one can meaningfully and truly say he had a suicide by cop/system.

    One deeply troubling case of the MANY across the US justice system and yet we have educated folks making ridiculous comparisons to Bdos’ inadequacies…. SMH.

    Your ref. to Mark Fuhrman and the O.J Simpson case is a bitter-sweet twist of the ‘disadvantaged Black in justice system’ narrative.

    As to criminal charges … There is a point at which the police officer, kneeling on Floyd’s neck for approximately near minutes, (as his lifeblood ebbed away), where the officer’s intentions and the criminal charges escalate to first degree murder.

    A serious prosecutor might then want to frighten the sh—- out of him, seeking capital punishment if available under current MN Criminal Law, or at a minimum life imprisonment without parole.

    The other officers, in addition to being fired, also need, at a minimum, to serve maximum sentences under the MN criminal code.

    Obviously, the apologists for these depraved murderers will begin their typical assassination of the victim’s character.

    Interesting Perspective Could This Have Been A Staged Event?

    These officers were involved with something, I’m not sure exactly what, but something is just not adding up.

    I think there is at the very least the “possibility”, that this was a filmed public execution of a black man by a white cop, with the purpose of creating racial tensions and driving a wedge in the growing group of anti deep state sentiment from comon people, that have already been psychologically traumatized by Covid 19 fears.

    Historically, in election years and in politically contested areas or in groups, racial or gun violence incidents are becoming common place. Considering the rising approval rating of President Trump in the black community, an event like this was unfortunately “Predictable”. Consider these points and contrast them to every other police brutality incident you’ve ever seen.

    The filmed portion of the incident was about 10 minutes long. In that amount of time, three officers are holding one handcuffed man down. You only know that because of the pictures taken from across the street. You can’t see the other two officers in the video because they are behind the vehicle. During 8 minutes of the entire video, the officer has his knee on George Floyd’s neck, which is not taught or approved by any law enforcement agency.

    Additionally, other than the Asian officer speaking occasionally to the crowd of bystanders, there is no communication from any of the officers to Mr. Floyd. No talking, no shouting. When have you ever seen a police brutality video without police shouting?

    Additionally, the police had no goal. They weren’t trying to subdue him for arrest, he was already handcuffed and all they needed to do, was place him in the back of the car. There is no plausible explanation for taking him to the ground and having three men on top of a handcuffed man, a knee placed on his neck. Mr. Floyd presented no threat and was not resisting. The only goal that there appeared to be was exactly what happened: “To be filmed brutally killing a black man”.

    Think about this, these officers did not care about being filmed, in fact the officer stared into the camera with soulless eyes and an emotionless face, reminiscent of an assassin, as he knowingly killed an American Citizen.
    None of the officers spoke among themselves or did they speak to Mr. Floyd. They did not respond to his pleas for life. They just sat and kneeled on him until he was passed out and then waited an additional 4 minutes after Mr. Floyd lost consciousness to ensure that Mr. Floyd was dead and could not be revived.

    The bystanders are verbally communicating to the officers, that he isn’t breathing. Unlike any other similar incident, you never see the officers getting on police radios. You never see or hear them calling dispatch for backup. No other police units arrive on the scene and strangely enough, the crowd does not seem to grow either.
    The scene does not end until an ambulance arrives and they unceremoniously flop him on a gurney. At no point does anyone in a uniform ever check his vitals. “As if they aren’t remotely curious about the situation they are in” BTW. who called the ambulance and for what reason? Because if the reason was that Mr. Floyd was having a medical issue, they wouldn’t have still been crushing his neck.

    Shortly after the video went viral, a fake Facebook page supposedly belonging to the officer, at the center of the murder appears and pictures are uploaded that say “Stand your Ground” and “Trump 2020”. A picture of the cop with a red ballcap that says “Make America White Again”. A friends list populated with obvious sock accounts and people clearly not his friends. This is the same kind of fake Facebook stunt that happened with a group made to look like support for the men involved with the Ahmed Aubrey case.

    Is it mere coincidence that this happens the week after “race” becomes a major political issue after the Biden “You ain’t Black” gaffe, started to threaten the black vote the Democrats so desperately count on?

    Additionally, there is substantial video evidence to arrest at least one officer now. Why would the local authorities not charge him immediately, unless there was a political advantage not to!

    Is it mere coincidence that this happens right about the exact moment the COVID-19 fear campaign falls apart, and after it has psychologically traumatized the entire country and got everyone at each other’s throats and suicide attempts are spiking? Is it mere coincidence that this happens after the Auhmed Aubrey case… Which somehow eluded the mainstream media completely until two whole months after he was killed? When has that ever happened? Timing issue? Is it mere coincidence that Supreme Race Baiter Obama was making videos a couple weeks ago connecting COVID with “Systemic Racism”?

    FINALLY….‼️‼ This entire scene plays out with the cop car and license plate that says “POLICE”. The plate was perfectly framed for maximum subliminal impact. This also means he was literally just 1 foot away from the back seat of the police car and these cops thought it was smarter to kill a black man on camera, than to pick him up and move him one foot into the back of the police car.

    You can draw your own conclusions, but this appears to have all the earmarks of George Soros. Please open your eyes!!!!

    The response of the white men on this blog so accurately tells the tale of why these things continue to happen. One calls it a distraction from real issues and the other makes a racist joke.

    Some of these bloggers live in the USA and many others have many friends and relatives who live there. I have an uncle and numerous cousins and friends there.

    No empathy with us at all at all. They can only see the world through their white man’s eyes and condemn us for violence which we know has its roots in the violence of the likes of them.

    Let me put this in a personal frame to make it easier.

    Here’s the thing, If I am not to LIVE in the place that I have helped to build, if I present video evidence of myself helping to build it to the judicial system and at every level they refuse to acknowledge my claim then, one hot night as i sit in my hovel, I know that I would become mad with anger to the point of real insanity and I would arm myself with any incendiary device available to me and burn the effing place down before I let a tiefing white man live in it and smile in my face every time I pass by.

    Anybody who is reading this who has figured out who I am here does not have any doubt at all that I WOULD DO EXACTLY AS I SAY.

    And that is why they call me “the mad woman”.

    And that is exactly who I told the police to ask for if they wish to find me at my address!

    We have some serious problems to fix in this country with respect to our judicial system. But I had that police station in an uproar and walked out ALIVE! I am more than willing to march any day of the week if somebody will join me. I doubt that we would have another 1937 death squad to shoot me down.

    But to those white Americans who think they can continue to kill those black Americans and then lock them up for a lesser crime, the new mantra I saw is –

    “No lives matter until black lives matter!”

    The verdict and sentencing have been hailed as a victory for civil rights groups in the U.S., which say that black men are killed far too frequently by white police officers, who seldom face prosecution for such incidents.

    3) A Texas jury this week convicted former officer Roy Oliver for murdering 15-year-old Jordan Edwards and sentenced him to 15 years in prison.

    Any rational person knows that police brutality is colour blind… it is irrational, unreasoned apologists of all hues who repeatedly attempt to deflect the rampant disdain of white cops for Black lives who would bring up this standard garden variety police ‘brutality’ and attempt to equate it to a brutal police assassination. BS!

    If news media were to highlight the number of times a cop – black on black or white on white, or across races – simply aggressively manhandled a suspect we would have no room to discuss anything else.

    Perspective:There were over 13.7 million arrests for all offenses in the United States in 2002 according to one report…. that’s a whole lot of possible instances where an officer had to exert some direct action to take a suspect into custody.

    Thus although workable stats on police brutality (and general malfeasance) are very hard to find as@Pilgrim noted, yet review that data in context of a US Justice Dept. report from 06 which showed that in 2002 from just “5% of agencies and 59% of officers” reporting that “26,556 citizen complaints” were made re excessive use of force…and just about 7.5% (2,000) were found to have merit.

    So in rough context if 5% of agencies used a ‘bit of brutal force’ in ’02 gives us that#…then 100% (mind you but only 59% of officers reported/analysed) would be about 530,000 incidents. And with the 7.5% standard of merit that gives us about 42,000 incidents of police brutality or about 100 per day… and still NOT ALL officers reporting!

    And we can be assured that in the hoods and Black naves in Chicago, LA or Newark,NJ that the daily ratio of brutal police force to arrests trends MUCH higher!

    Police brutality HAPPENS … but COPS are not SUPPOSED TO become SOCIOPATHS (sticking a broom-handle in a man’s anal passage) or killers as some wondrous extension of their power trip of force… and we cannot excuse their mental deficits!

    Just another juicy tit bit for the those who would condemn the black “thugs”.

    At the press conference yesterday the prosecutor who is making the decision on whether or not the murderous white THUGS for police officers will be charged asked for the “rioter” to trust hi that justice will be served. He held himself up as the only prosecutor his position to have secured a conviction of a police officer for murder committed in the course of duty. This, he said, is why they should trust him.

    The conviction he obtained was of a BLACK SOMALI AMERICAN police officer for the killing of a WHITE AUSTRALIAN WOMAN.

    He is lucky he wasn’t pelted down at that point! I think the people were in shock. I knew that things were gong to get uglier.

    WTF!
