  1. If the goal of the ‘god-fearing’ white man was to bring ‘Christianity’ to the ‘uncivilized’ natives why, then, were Africans bought and transported to the same ‘untamed’ lands of the wild Caribbean and Americas?

    +++++++++++++++++++++

Maybe it was God;s goal, the smart “God-fearing” white man was just a tool in His Hand!!

Maybe after 700 years of having all of their manly parts removed in the trans Saharan slave trade male Africans breathed a sigh of relief at being transported west.

As I said before, given a choice of being in the consignment of goods their leaders were shipping east or in the one going west my ancestors were probably relieved to be on the ship west.

Porey Spring outlet to the sea is via the Hole in Holetown.
Little Bristol/Speightstown has water at less than 6 feet underground.
In fact all along the south and west coast water is available a few feet underground.
Beckles Spring by the Bay Mansion.
Springs at Amity Lodge just north of the Graeme Hall Swamp.
So, multiple sources along the coast.”
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

You purposely forgot to mention specifically an important site of major springs’; that of “Spring Garden” which was the site of a large settlement of the original Bajans decimated and destroyed by the Christian Englishmen.

It was also a source of fresh water for the trading vessels in that ghastly Atlantic Triangular Trade especially for the early Jewish Portuguese.

Isn’t it strange how the same underground water in the garden of springs could turn out today to be the saviour of modern mainly-black Barbadians by providing a humongous amount of their potable water needs?

Your list of the various sources of ‘underground’ water aka ‘springs’ ‘exploited’ by the early white settlers for their water needs is merely reinforcing my argument.

Which do you think the smart god-fearing ‘men’ from England (those trading Jews who converted to Christianity) fleeing from some perceived religious persecution would prefer as a place of refuge?

A haven with underground (spring) water with natural health-giving properties?

Or on the banks of the ‘contaminated with human waste’ rivers of Babylon in the West Indies?

And to see that all this brutal exploitation and enslavement of the black man occurred right under the vigilance of your omnipresent all-knowing Yahweh?

One is left to wonder what black people have done to deserve such punishment from Yahweh.

Is it because they are considered by the white (and those passing for white) religious nutters like you to be the descendants of Ham whom Yahweh cursed upon a recommendation from Noah?

But hell, why are we surprised at this turn of events for the poor African?

After all, the same white man’s book of indoctrination makes it abundantly clear what kind of loving being Yahweh really is.

For blacks are clearly not Yahweh’s favourite (chosen) people.

But that’s what happens to blacks when they disown and disregard their own Creator which gave them their black skin and go ‘a whoring’ after people’s mock gods.

“If my people [children of the Sun] who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

  5. Spring Garden —– Ionics.

But, Belle and Codrington extract much of the fresh water heading there underground.

Ionics processes brackish water and not from a spring.

Go check Ionics and tell us if it isn’t at Spring Garden.

Development in the Warrens, Cave Hill Area would make any Spring in that area down right dangerous.

You need to study the topography of the island!!

    @ Miller at 10:03 AM

Why do you persist in putting words into the ?mouths ?of other people’s gods that they never uttered nor can utter?

  7. MTA

Your beef isn’t really with the white man it is with the white man’s God.

Christianity is really the issue as far as you are concerned.

  8. @ Vincent Codrington August 29, 2019 10:13 AM

Taken straight from the same book that depicts Apep the Egyptian god of Chaos (aka (Apophis) as a talking serpent.

Let’s regurgitate what your favourite version (the KJV) said about your equally anthropomorphic without any further edification or redaction; i.e. verbatim:

2 Chronicles 7:14 King James Version (KJV)

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Maybe I should put words in the mouth of Aaron and teach black people how to pray:

“The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.”

  9. @ John August 29, 2019 10:14 AM

How can the MTA have a “beef” with the white man? The miller doesn’t have any with Mongoloid, Indians or even blacks, so why whites? Don’t all of them belong to the same ‘primate’ family tree?

What the MTA has a bee in his bonnet with are the lies and deception promoted in the Jewish story book of plagiarized myths and legends promoted as the Word of some universal god and which must be applied lock, stock and barrel in order to be accepted in paradise.

What you ought to do is to go into a synagogue (Jewish place of worship) and look around at the stained glass window or dome to see ‘what’ is depicted as the real invisible god that Jews worship and adore.

  10. Dorian could be largest Hurricane to hit Central Florida in 30 years.

    https://www.orlandosentinel.com/weather/hurricane/os-ne-hurricane-dorian-florida-threat-20190828-gw3b7npcxvfs5ca5cly2s5gdma-story.html

“Right now the storm is fairly tight with hurricane-force winds only extending out 15 miles, and tropical storm force winds extending out 90 miles, but the warm waters of the Atlantic as Dorian approaches the northwest Bahamas should allow the storm to grow in both intensity and size, according to discussion on the NHC’s website.”

It isn’t near to “300” miles wide as the digitally processed image may suggest.

The business width is 90 miles at the moment for storm force winds, 15 miles for Hurricane force winds.

If we go by Deighton Best the northern sector will contain the strongest winds.

So come Sunday it looks like, Central Florida may be cut in two.

Those 15 miles (or more) on either side of Dorian’s track will feel Hurricane force winds but those on the northern side of the track will be hit harder.

… and then there is rain and possible flooding!!

That could possibly extend to the width on the digitally processed image.

We see a State of Emergency declared by the Florida Governor days in advance of Dorian’s arrival and know a step by step process will be followed as the situation develops.

    FORECAST POSITIONS AND MAX WINDS

    INIT 29/1500Z 21.4N 67.2W 75 KT 85 MPH
    12H 30/0000Z 22.9N 68.1W 85 KT 100 MPH
    24H 30/1200Z 24.5N 69.6W 100 KT 115 MPH
    36H 31/0000Z 25.6N 71.4W 105 KT 120 MPH
    48H 31/1200Z 26.3N 73.4W 110 KT 125 MPH
    72H 01/1200Z 27.0N 76.9W 115 KT 130 MPH
    96H 02/1200Z 27.5N 79.8W 115 KT 130 MPH
    120H 03/1200Z 28.1N 81.5W 65 KT 75 MPH…INLAND

Looks like the wind speed could get up to 130 mph.

Possibly stronger than Janet and expected to be in a position to do major widespread damage, unlike Janet when it passed Barbados which mainly affected the south of the island.

  11. We are watching Florida respond to a real threat.

We responded to a perceived threat …. what if Dorian strengthens AND goes south exposing us to the strongest winds?

    Neither happened.

  12. MTA

People spread as agriculture spread through the fertile crescent after the flood.

Eventually it reached the Nile and progressed up the river.

It isn’t necessary to be a genius to realise that people sharing common ancestors will also share common beliefs!!

There is only one God, He whom Paul in Acts 17:23 referred to as the unknown God ” this “unknown God” the biblical God, the Creator of heaven and earth, who does not dwell in temples made with hands. Actually, God is the Source of life for all nations, and He is really the One they were worshipping. Paul goes on to say that God is near; in fact, “in him we live and move and have our being”

The people would have breathed an even greater sign of relief if they all remained at HOME, hunting, fishing, planting, harvesting, making love to their spouses, raising their children and worshipping God.

How did Paul become a Christian?

    Wasn’t he struck blind?

    Who struck him blind?

  16. What do you understand by unknown?

Didn’t God identify himself to Paul, or rather Saul?

  18. Next few weeks are the real McCoy

Central Florida may be reprieved as predictions have Dorian veering north.

Roughest weather will be on the Atlantic side of the hurricane so if it does make the turn north, this will help Central Florida.

Same principle as Janet and Ivan and any that pass us south and expose us to the business side.

  19. Hants

It has a predicted northward component so we could be safe from this one.

After September 15 to early October is the time we are most vulnerable.

Conditions tend to reduce that northern component of velocity and also allow for formation closer to us in the Eastern Atlantic.

  20. @ John

Dorian is now a category five hurricane with sustained winds of 175 mph. Note the similarities to Janet.

  21. I see.

    Fueled by the warm sea.

Slowed down too … bad sign.

Now, if Miss Mockley were the Governor of Florida ……!

  22. Trying to predict the path off Florida!!!

  23. Evacuation orders given in parts of Florida.

Here is the plan unfolding according to the situation.

  24. We owe it to our Dear Goddesses Oya and Bim and their envoy Mia Mottley that once again nothing happened to us.

May the Holy Wrath of the Gods strike the traitors who have criticized our government for their precautions. Their Christianity will not protect them against the order of the universe.

  25. Tron u need some seriius help. In what way did Mia prevent Dorian from devastating barbados?
My question to u after seeing the devastation in the bahamas do u think that the preparation that Mia is being highly praised (for) would have been enough for the country
The bahamas have more resources in aiding there preparation but the powerful force of the hurricane overmatched their preparations

  26. all the preparedness in the world could not stop Dorian devastation

  27. @ Mariposa September 2, 2019 6:29 AM

The problem is that you and all the other DLP grandees only believe in material values like bribes because you come from low social backgrounds and have plundered the whole island like rioting servants.

You better believe in supernatural powers.

  28. Tron but u still did not answer the question

  29. @John…..Dorian just didn’t make that sudden shift to the north. Those at the NHC were forecasting that west north westward shift as it approached Barbados.
The Coriolis force does not steer Systems.Systems are steered by UPPER LEVEL HIGHS,TROUGHS and LOWS.
Systems don’t normally strike the Florida panhandle from that direction….they normally strike from the GULF of MEXICO

  30. Dead bodies in the streets of Abaco, in the Bahamas. Ii know Grand Bahama and love it. We must extend our sympathies to our fellow Caribbeans.

  31. Spare a thought for the Bahamians and the Barbadians living in the Bahamas.

  32. Destruction on Abaco

  33. I remember seeing a few Bajans whining about buying foodstuff and there was ‘no storm’.
I wonder if they still feel the same way.

This is a trick to get me back to Barbados.
This is almost as good as a no-show job.
    I coming to try-out
    I am on my way.

  35. https://barbadostoday.bb/2019/09/03/caught-in-a-lie/

Where do I go to get back my reputation.
It should not just end here.

    Probably not worth suing.

  36. The Coriolis force does not steer Systems.Systems are steered by UPPER LEVEL HIGHS,TROUGHS and LOWS.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The Coriolis Effect exists by virtue of the Earth’s rotation.

The natural movement of a depression, storm or hurricane in our neck of the woods is north, period.

That effect can be counter balanced or overcome by UPPER LEVEL HIGHS,TROUGHS and LOWS.

We saw and are seeing that with Dorian off Florida.

It went west until the High moved, thhen it turned north.

People will claim Trump steers hurricanes but it isn’t true.

There is no hurricane steering machine located at Mar A Lago!!

God chose to spare it the wrath of Dorian and in so doing spared countless thousands/millions in Florida.

Once again, and I repeat, Trump has no control over hurricanes, there is no hurricane steering machine at Mar A Lago!!

  37. The stronger a hurricane gets the greater is the Coriolis Effect.

All we see on the satellite images is the system, not the Coriolis Effect, not the UPPER LEVEL HIGHS,TROUGHS and LOWS.

We do however see the track!!!

That allows us to surmise how strong the system is and whether there are other things affecting its progress.

If we watch Dorian off Barbados it had little northward component.

Either it was weak or there was a High keeping it travelling west.

So the movement of Dorian spoke volumes as to its potential effect on Barbados.

We had no wind and very little rain which was always going to be likely given its track!!

It then intensified to a CAT 5 Hurricane.

Even now, its track reveals much about its strength.

It is going directly north which says it is strong AND there is nothing (or almost nothing) counteracting the Coriolis Effect.

    The Highs have moved.

… Trump did not, and I repeat Trump did not move them!!

  38. “Bahamas’ tourism could be devastated for a long time after Hurricane Dorian”

    https://edition.cnn.com/2019/09/03/business/bahamas-tourism-impact-hurricane-dorian/index.html

  39. The frequency of Hurricanes since 2011 could influence the re building process in The Bahamas.

    — 2011: Hurricane Irene, Category 3, made four landfalls in the Bahamas, causing widespread material damages but no reports of fatalities.

    — 2012: Hurricane Sandy, which peaked at Category 3, passed over the Bahamas before reaching the United States.

    — 2015: Hurricane Joaquin, Category 4, meandered over the southern Bahamas, battering its islands for over two days. Joaquin caused extensive devastation and its storm surge trapped hundreds in their homes. Offshore, the American cargo ship El Faro and her 33 members were lost to the hurricane.

    — 2016: Hurricane Matthews, Category 5, caused massive destruction in Haiti and damaged several islands in the Bahamas.

    — 2017: Hurricane Irma, Category 5, passed over Inagua and South Acklins islands where it downed power lines, knocked out communications and damaged homes.

    — 2019: Hurricane Dorian Cat 5.

  40. Besides Tourism what else makes up the economy of the Bahamas?

  41. “The Bahamas is the richest country in the West Indies and the third wealthiest country in the Americas. It is a stable, developing nation in the Lucayan archipelago with a population of 391,232 (2016) and an economy heavily dependent on tourism and offshore banking.

Steady growth in tourism receipts and a boom in construction of new hotels, resorts, and residences had led to solid GDP growth for many years, but the slowdown in the US economy and the attacks of September 11, 2001 held back growth in these sectors in 2001-03. Financial services constitute the second-most important sector of the Bahamian economy, accounting for about 15% of GDP.

However, since December 2000, when the government enacted new regulations on the financial sector, many international businesses have left the Bahamas. Manufacturing and agriculture together contribute approximately 10% of GDP and show little growth, despite government incentives for those sectors.

Overall growth prospects in the short run rest heavily on the fortunes of the tourism sector, which depends on growth in the US, the source of more than 80% of the visitors. In addition to tourism and banking, the government supports the development of a “2nd-pillar”, e-commerce. ”

  42. “Dorian’s centre is expected to move across central or eastern Nova Scotia on Saturday and pass near or over Prince Edward Island later tonight and then move near or over portions of Newfoundland and Labrador on Sunday. It is expected to maintain hurricane-force winds as it moves across Atlantic Canada through Sun”

Emera is going to be very busy after getting whacked in The Bahamas.

  43. DORIAN BECOMES A HURRICANE-FORCE ( cat. 2 ) POST-TROPICAL CYCLONE creating havoc in Nova Scotia.

Can’t compare to the destruction in the Bahamas but still serious.
