President Donald Trump

DECLARATION OF THE PEOPLE OF THE CARIBBEAN

(A Declaration that was authored by the Pan-Africanist and Socialist popular forces of

the Caribbean nation of Barbados at Bridgetown, Barbados on Saturday 13th January 2018, and

submitted to the people and civil society organizations of the Caribbean for their endorsement and adoption)

U S PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP HAS BEEN DECLARED

“PERSONA NON GRATA”  IN THE CARIBBEAN

We, the under-signed representatives of the sovereign people of the Caribbean, hereby declare that President Donald Trump of the United States of America is “Persona Non Grata” in our Caribbean region!

We further declare that as a “Persona Non Grata” President Donald Trump is NOT welcome in any territory of the Caribbean, and we hereby confirm that we – the Caribbean people – will petition our Governments, vehemently protest against any Trump visit, and engage in popular demonstrations designed to prevent President Donald Trump’s entry into any portion of the sovereign territory of our Caribbean region.

As sons and daughters of the Caribbean, we hereby affirm that the continent of Africa is the revered Motherland of a sizable majority of our people and that the Republic of Haiti — the seminal architect of the destruction of the system of chattel slavery that held our ancestors in bondage — is the foundational cornerstone of our Caribbean Civilization, and we therefore consider that any insult or attack that is directed at the African continent or at the Republic of Haiti is intrinsically an insult and attack that is directed at us as well.

We further affirm that we Caribbean people — in light of our history of experiencing, resisting, and surviving the most horrendous forms of enslavement and colonialism — consciously regard ourselves as champions and defenders of the dignity and fundamental human rights of all Black or African people, and that we are guided by an over-arching and non-negotiable principle of zero tolerance of any manifestation of anti-Black or anti-African racism or discrimination.

It is against this background that we, the people of the Caribbean, have determined that by describing the nations of Africa, the Republic of Haiti and the Central American nation of El Salvador as “shithole” countries, U S President Donald Trump has committed a despicable and unpardonable act of anti-Black, anti-African, anti-Brown racism that has served to further energize and fortify the vile White supremacy system that the said President Trump has self-consciously sought to champion and lead.

We — the sovereign people of the Caribbean– hereby declare to the entire world that we vehemently and unreservedly denounce President Donald Trump and the evil and inhuman White supremacy value system that he represents!

Lawson..note that the government is still shutdown…NYCs Coumo had to make the decision to open Statue of Liberty and State Park because they do not depend of federal employees to function…

….you still dont get, IQ45 cannot withhold CHIPS children healthcare, who will die if they do not fund the program…to have his way,

…..or DACA dreamers who pay over 11 billion dollars a year in taxes, hostage…so IQ45 can tief 18 billion dollars from taxpayers, talking about he is building a wall so that Mexico can pay for it….

The democrats have to break that retard’s back…he owes the russians too much money and is trying to find a way out, off the taxpayer’s back…he better swallow some pills and get rid of his problems.

Lawson, you do have a way with words….paddles and whores … you say.

Yes Schumer lost this round … but they all live to fight another day. So down today may be up tomorrow.

But re your boy tho, who likes whores and paddles whether in stormy or wintery weather more than he.

I notice that there is a certain devout evangelical Christian fella who likes being naughty too.

He says that charges of illicit sex between a porn star and his colleague Pres are baseless…. but I also recall that he said that he was proud to stand next to the them labelled “pupssy grabber” and likely is suitably enamoured that his buddy took his wife and girlfriend to the same Aspen holiday.

So your words suggest you like being naughty, too!😂😂

    IQ45…the name says it all..

“Democrats have reached a deal with Republicans to end the government shutdown, concluding a three-day halt in federal funding that was seen as a blow to President Donald Trump. “After several discussions, offers and counteroffers, the Republican leader and I have come to an arrangement,” said Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. “We will vote today to reopen the government to continue negotiating a global agreement”.”

    IQ45….

“In a few hours, the government will reopen,” Mr Schumer added. “We have a lot to do.”

In a speech on the Senate floor, Mr Schumer criticised Mr Trump, saying it was a group of 20 Republican and Democratic senators who hashed out a deal while the President “sat on the sidelines.”

The top Democrat had met with Mr Trump on Friday at the White House to try to negotiate an agreement.

“Since our meeting in the Oval Office on Friday, the president and I have not spoken, and the White House refused to engage in negotiations over the weekend,” Mr Schumer said in a quiet chamber. “The great deal-making president sat on the sidelines.”

  6. Donna you have reappeared from your sabbatical from BU?

  7. David,

Occasionally I check in but have not been moved to comment. I have been watching America unravel. I always thought of America as a shithole country. I cannot say that I am enjoying being proven right.

  8. @Donna

Is it fair to judge the US based on the imbecilic behaviour of a few? It is a country of immigrants isn’t it? We all have our warts, even Barbados.

the CHIP kids had their program extended today to 6 years so they wont die from lack of healthcare because of sHitler….and the DACA dreamers can be taken care of next month, they have until march to extend the program and stop sHitler from deporting them.

the US has indeed devolved into a shithole, you have racists with barely double digit IQs bringing the whole country down.

  10. David, America as a whole has not come to terms with its history. It has a false image of itself as being a beacon on a hill. I have heard good people reciting this view even though they know and understand the history. This shit did not start with Trump. He just opened the toilet door. Almost half of America supports this vile creature. That is not a few people. By the way, they are winning at present.

Lawson….yall are child killers, yall wanted millions of small children to die from lack of healthcare and they could have died if the adults like Schumer did not take control of that situation.

while sHitler wants to stop babies from being born in their natural 9th month gestational period.

must have been all that white inbreeding from centuries ago now manifesting itself in latent illiteracy and stupidity…there can be no other explanation for these displays in this era.

  12. America unraveling double lol….you were all scared of isis Trump let the soldiers be soldiers and they are on the run….the economy is booming ,money is coming back to america wages are going up as is employment….The supreme court has stayed leaning conservative… you feel its okay again to have christian values again merry christmas by the way .. what is wrong with that.
WW you are hopeless you and your boyfriend share the belief that wolfe was asked up to the plains of abraham for a party to discuss how canada should be partitioned.
The dems overplayed their hand ..they thought the american people were deplorable and couldnt put two and two together. Shumer is more laughable than his chunky sad comedian cousin.

  13. Forgive me for being black and female. That is what is wrong with that. Besides, the economy was doing quite well when his vileness took over. As for those businesses that are trying to fool the public so as to keep his vileness in power, we will see how well they stick to their promises. A promise is a comfort only to a fool. Also, we shall see how the extreme deregulation his vileness is doing will work out in the long run. Greed has a habit of causing collapses.

  14. A white male seeing things only in terms of dollars. And that is why the world is where it is. Nothing new here.

  15. You are a fan of capitalism or NOT.

  16. The economy was not doing well but when you cant answer what is wrong with good things that have happened you try and change the narrative okay. Well the dems in hollywood have had this screwing women for job thing going cosby, weinstein, etc how do you feel about them. You seem to forget that it was republicans that freed the slaves in america, the dems have brainwashed your people into thinking you need govt and them instead of thinking for yourselves. Greed does cause problems but explain how people working for govt become extremely rich watters clinton etc it shoudnt happen. What amazes me is if you are a black bajan politician you are a thief or an idiot but if you are a black american politician you are beyond reproach.????

  19. Isis was on the run before his vileness took over. Unfortunately they will regroup because the idea is still in circulation and will spread even more swiftly because of current USA attitudes and policies. As for Christian values and merry Christmases, to even address that would be to dignify it.

  20. Statistics for growth of the economy show a steady rise over the last several years. Unemployment also a steady decline. Stock market was doing well. I don’t necessarily agree with Trump in many ways HOWEVER ALL ILLEGALS SHOULD BE KICKED OUT INCLUDING ILLEGAL BAJANS, much the same way the Guyanese were ran out when David Thompson first came in power 10 years ago.

    Bunch of shitty critics.

  23. @ David,

  24. It never ceases to amaze me how Barbadians all of a sudden are such expert commentators on everything that is happenning in the US.

Get over it all of you…………Donald J Trump won the election and is the President of the US. Not Barbados!

We spend so much time debating Donald J Trump and seemingly we are afraid or loathed to comment on the shiite going on in this country where we have to live.

Like him or not he beat the lying deceitful woman. She had just about all the media to cover up for her, she had the corrupt FBI and DOJ to cover up her scandals, she had the most money any candidate ever had and could not beat Donald J Trump. I wish more politicians would honour their promises.

    Get over it….she lost…..he won.

He is not doing nothing other than what he ran on. People here lauded the dead king when he kicked out the Guyanese but haters now have a problem with Donald J Trump deporting illegal immigrants…….and the favoured President Obama deported the most illegal immigrants in the history of presidents. But we did not care to comment because we loved our first black President.

Get over it peoples……she lost, he won!

President Obama allowed the muslim terrorists to expand expeditiously and we can only wonder why…..he called them a JV team. The terrorists were allowed to spread all over Asia and Africa.

Candidate Trump promised to bomb the shit out of ISIS and as President he has allowed the generals to do just that. President Obama and his muslim loving advisers tied the hands of the generals thus allowing the terrorists to spread like the disease they were.

  29. What matters most is what the economic and other indexes are showing, the “restart” of the government after “some deal” was brokered showed the precariousness that looms in the very near future.

Come March, many things will unravel, Just maybe it will be the final and total collapse of the “American economy”, not in its true sense, but targeted at the removal of the FERDERAL RESERVE where the root cause of many ills exists and its clandestine ops ceases.

Prepare for an entirely new initiative where fiat money ends and the new system of gold backed currency begins that will benefit all humanity. The time has come.

  32. lawson January 22, 2018 at 6:05 PM #

“..….the economy is booming, money is coming back to america wages are going up as is employment….”

    @ lawson

Are your above comments are based on Trump’s boasting to reporters in November 2017 re:

“The reason our stock market is so successful is because of me,” the president said. “I’ve always been great with money, I’ve always been great with jobs, that’s what I do. And I’ve done it well, I’ve done it really well, much better than people understand and they understand I’ve done well.”

Or on his numerous “self praising tweets,” such as: “At least we can all agree the economy is better under President Trump.”

In other words, Lawson…. you (and Trump) are essentially suggesting employment in the US and the economy is on the rise because Donald Trump is president.

I believe people should exercise some caution and be rational in their thinking, rather than rushing to accept whatever an individual says is true, simply because they are fond of him/her.

According to Trump, between January and December 8, 2107, 1.9M jobs were created by the economy.

However, if one examines the corresponding period in 2016, the US economy allowed the creation of approximately 2.1M jobs. Taking into consideration Trump took office on January 20, 2017, whereas between February to November 2017, the economy created 1.7M jobs………

…………1.96M jobs were created during the period February to November 2016.

Therefore, if one makes a comparative analysis of both periods under review, the job market under Trump is actually underperforming.

Additionally, it would be somewhat ludicrous for anyone to attribute any improvements in the USA’s economic environment specifically to Trump, without first considering the complexity of the US economy and the effects of decisions made by households and businesses.

And the effects of government policies are not immediate..….because they will obviously take some time to work in the economy. As such, it will be a bit unreasonable to expect that, having been on office just over a year, Trump’s policies have immediately worked through the economy. Therefore, the US economy may be progressing due to the policies of the Obama administration.

  40. antax are you denying stock market is up are you dening money is being repatriated and creating jobs are you denying many people have been given bonuses, are you denying minimum wage has risen in many states, are you denying the economy has recorded over 3 percent growth in last two quaters , are you denying us home sales are highest in 10 years. please tell me which ones are untrue

  41. Well Well & Cut N' Paste At Your Service Avatar
Well Well & Cut N’ Paste At Your Service

Minimum wage was in the works to be raised to 15 dollars for years…Obama was the one raised it,…jobs have been a constant for 6 straight years, it only just started dropping with massive layoffs, stock market is now on a wing and pray, many people were given bonuses and promptly lost their jobs, companies took the tax cut and shut shop or laid off everyone.

In my experience with US…that is always a sign that the economy will dive in another 8-12 months….the intelligence and skill will lay in bringing it back to Obama levels, I will not hold my breath, but you could hold yours.

Lawson…you are living in your own parallel universe, your brain is frozen, wait for the thaw.

@Lawson, no one need deny any truths related to the US economy (or world economy , for that matter).

Artax objectively explained that an economy actually also moves independantvof whose face graces the WH oval office.

So to repeat, it is ridiculous to presume that the US President can claim credit for all the upward movements in the market and just as equally ridiculous to blame him for all the problems…..so let’s cut to dat chase.4

YES … the stock market is up. BUT it has been moving upwards continually for last several quarters under Obama. It has definitely reached a record high in the DOW….but that’s the nature of the beast. It also reached a then RECORD high back in 2015.

YES, money is being repatriated and supposedly creating jobs. BUT strangely enough those job metrics that this pres called PHONY when they were at a low 4.8 per under Obama are now very REAL at similarly low levels because it’s his watch.

YES, many people have been given bonuses… BUT again strangely enough many of these companies were enjoying wondrous profits for the last several years but REFUSED to spread the largesse to their employees. As an example Apple was (is) earning profits of over $400K for each one of their 100,000 plus employees. And the behemoth Wal-Mart has enjoyed profits annually around $20 Billion over recent years. It is a beautiful gimmick that Walmart NOW indicates it will increase wages when for many many years it was well known that their wage levels were absurdly low.

AND that leads to your minimum wage. That’s a well worn case as WWC notes. So that you and Trump would claim props on that following the intense action by Sanders and others is amazing…sounds like a Kellyann Con… alternative factoid, to me.

YES the economy has recorded over 3 percent growth in last two quaters …. but cue drum roll…….. It was that in a few quarters before Trump took over… there was a 5.2 highest.

I wouldn’t bother with the home sales chatter… that ebbs and flows depending on tne influx of Russian big money buyers dropping some coin with your boy…. 😂😂.

Lawson…you are not racist, ya just drinking too much IQ45 koolaid, big difference.

Whatever racism levels you were raised with are now totally ineffective.

  46. Dribbler you are probably right obama is the architect of all these wins it is a pity non of it happened when he was in office, lol thank you for confirming what i said even if you have a different spin on it. Your first few lines may be correct but it would be ludicrous to think if the economy was going the other way ..the main stream media the dems. hollywood or maybe even you or antrax would be yelling its trumps fault.
Vanilla icecream is racist and i like it so therefore i am a racist you gotta love the left.

I’m sure you’re one of those individuals that agreed with the opinion Owen Arthur enjoyed a thriving economy during his tenure as PM, because the former Erskine Sandiford administration’s policies prepared a “good batting pitch” for the BLP……….

………..is it therefore unreasonable for us to conclude that a similar situation re Obama/Trump is occurring in the USA?

You are missing the point. I’m not denying any of the things you mentioned…….nor am I denying that some of Trump’s policies may be a contributing factor. And where did I mentioned they were “not true?”But for you to give credit specifically to Trump’s presidency as being responsible for those developments……… is beyond “rational reasoning.”

De pedantic Dribbler explained the situation perfectly…….

Recall during his “thank you” rally in Des Moines on December 8, 2016, Trump claimed that “the unemployment number, as you know, is totally fiction,” prior to his inauguration, he dismissed the UE stats as being “fake” and “nonsense”………… several times before his new found love for the BLS.

Trump has been continually boasting that the unemployment (UE) rate, which was recorded at 4.1% by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) in December 2017………….is at its lowest in 17 years.

One has to agree that the UE figure of 4.1% is the lowest in 17 years………..but one should view the information objectively, rather than “within a vacuum.”

To get to 4.1%, the UE had to be “progressively decreasing” over a period of time………..which is evidenced by the fact that the rate was 9.6% in 2011……. and by the time Trump was sworn in as president in January 2017, it had steadily declined to 4.8%. It is therefore obvious inherited low UE stats from Obama.

Under these circumstances, Trump has successfully convinced his loyal supporters that the previous BLS stats were “FAKE,” but now they are at 4.1% (using the same statistical measurements) the stats are NOW “GENUINE”……………Amazing!!!!

Donald Trump is a con man.

@Lawson, vanilla ice cream is just bland …can’t be racist to like that!

But if you strongly prefer cherry vanilla and refused all others land ike Tiger we saw just how many pints of vaniĺla cherry ice cream you actually consumed….THEN we may pose a question about your racial sensibilities…Lol.

Soooo, it’s certainyly not racist to like Trump’s policy…but to repeatedly and strongly defend his continuous wayward, divisive actions on race/ethnicity issues would cause probing questions of your race sensitivities. Just saying!

Your love for Trump seems “characteristic” of ac’s love for Freundel Stuart and the DLP…. to the extent that, similarly to the “consortium of yard-fowls,” the love erases your ability to think rationally and objectively. And you have likewise adopted the jargon…….ac refers to Stuart’s critics as “BLP operatives,” while you refer to Trump’s critics as “the left.” Why does Trump supporters characterize everyone who criticizes him as “the left?”

Lawson…….yuh watching too much FOX News….too much Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Judge Jeanine Pirro and “Fox & Friends…………where objectivity and rational thinking have “taken flight.”

Lawson, do you know since December 2016 the US$ has decreased by at least 10%…….. and in conjunction with an increase in Europe’s economic growth and the appreciation of the Euro, these developments create significant advantages for USA exporters? Manufacturing has increased worldwide, much more than global services… and since the USA is not on Mars or Venus…..they would obviously experience an increase in manufacturing. What does this “phenomena” has to do with Donald Trump?

    How about mining jobs?

“There is anecdotal evidence that some mining companies were encouraged by Trump’s rhetoric and deregulatory policies. But far more importantly, the GLOBAL RECOVERY has led to a GLOBAL ENERGY BOOM, particularly DUE to DEMAND from China. The price of coal DOUBLED in the first nine months of 2016. This has CREATED NEW DEMAND for mining contractors in western Texas and the swath of the country running from Utah through Wyoming into Montana and North Dakota. These contractors, working in what the Bureau of Labor Statistics calls “support activities,” have accounted for almost all the mining sector’s job growth.” [fact Checker Analysis].

    You forgot Ann Coulter.

This is a circular discussion, Obama took over at a time the economy hit rock bottom. Under his watch the economy stabilized and began to recover its pre 2008 level. Those who follow these events are aware that what occurred under Bush is part of an orchestrated cyclical occurrence to burn debt from the system etc.
