    What is the relevance of the back and forth with Durbin and the Sec. of DHS? This is a woman who said she didn’t know that Norway is a predominantly “white” country.

    Although absolutely different I’ll make a leaping comparison to suggest that the NUPW’s failure to ‘shutdown’ govt on this occasion shows similarly how complex these political matters always are.

    The only tenuous apparent here of course is the term ‘shutdown’… but the conflicting agendas of the liked minded groups which drove the complex disagreements leading to public failure are very similar too.

    There seems little intent in Washington or Bridgetown for honest assessment of facts or even truthful utterances of a meeting recap and all due to political posturing. It’s virtually impossible for us to achieve meaningful compromise.

    I should also thank you for the forum (again) as it allows us to see just how bluntly disingenuous and basically hard-wired biased so many of our educated elite in Bim really are.
