I will give you my gun when you pry it from my cold dead hands – National Rifle Association [NRA] bumper sticker
Philinte: Do you wish harm to all mankind?
Alceste: Yes, I have conceived a terrible hatred for them –Act I, Sc 1 -“Le Misanthrope” -Moliere [1666]
An apparent misanthrope, of a twisted mind and hell-bent on taking as many people as possible with him as he shuffles off this mortal coil, fortified by a bizarre official interpretation of a Constitutional amendment that ostensibly relates to a collective entitlement but that has been construed as permitting any lunatic with enough wherewithal to arm himself to the teeth with high powered weaponry, sends his girlfriend home to the land of her birth, rents a luxury hotel suite overlooking a concert venue in Las Vegas and proceeds to murder no fewer than 58 innocent souls assembled to enjoy the music, thereby giving the lie to the popular slogan that “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!”
The media will record that this abyssal conduct on his part was a new record for the most people ever murdered in a mass shooting in the US. The resultant “human cry”, as it is put in the Barbadian mondegreen, sounds like so much crocodile tears in a country that can place men on the Moon but that seemingly has not grasped the notion that permitting a near unlimited civic right to bear arms and thus to use them however might lead inexorably to these sorts of tragedies.
I have explored before in this space my own interpretation of the notorious Second Amendment that is utilized as the vehicle for this dubious and enabling right. According to the text of the provision;
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
Given that a militia does not comprise one individual solely, and given the primacy accorded that body in the structure of the text, one might very well be tempted to read the amendment as empowering the people to keep and bear arms purely for the purposes of forming the necessary well-regulated militia for protecting the security and freedom of the state. This, however, has not been the construction that has found favour with the Supreme Court charged with the overarching interpretation of the Constitution.
In its 2008 decision in District of Columbia v Heller, the Court, by a five to four majority, iterated that the Amendment protected an individual right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes such as self-defence. Further, they held that the prefatory clause in the Amendment that I rely on in my argument to control its spirit does not in fact limit or expand the second part whose text and history connotes an individual right to keep and bear arms.
The justices also made reference to the amendment’s legislative history, noting that it was the product of a response to the fears of the anti-federalists that Federal Government would disarm the militia in favour of a standing army or a select Federal militia. The Second Amendment was thus enacted to deny Congress the power to abridge the “ancient“ right of the people to keep and bear arms so that the ideal of a citizens’ militia would be preserved.
Moreover, although it did not form part of the ratio of the decision, the Court noted that at least three (3) states’ proposals had referred unequivocally to the individual and not merely collective right. The law seems to be settled given that the Supreme Court is at the apex of the system, unless a future Court ids minded to overrule this precedent.
As distasteful as it may be, the media have made much of the record number of those killed, a record that is likely to be inevitably broken so long as the status quo continues. An instructive WhatsApp post in one group last week, explored the illogic behind the individual right to bear arms whereby a youngster, thirteen years of age, is appropriately unable to purchase alcohol, cigarettes or adult magazines, but is nonetheless able to secure the supply from a dealer of a high-powered firearm intended for the sole purpose of ending a life, even if not necessarily that of a human being.
Veteran Congressman Steve Israel, in an op-ed piece in the New York Times last Monday, also addresses the issue of the likelihood of a reprise of the Las Vegas massacres. He puts it bluntly, “ In the wake of one of the deadliest mass shootings in our nation’s history, perhaps the most asked question by Americans is, and “Will anything change?” The simple answer is no. The more vital question is, “Why not?”
Israel recounts his failed attempt as a freshman to introduce legislation to require safety locks on certain guns when he failed to gain the support of a fellow freshman Democrat who begged off on the ground that “In my district we close the schools on the first day of hunting season”.
He relates too his disappointment after the murder of 26 children and adults at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012 and the image of President Obama with tears running down his cheeks. His thoughts that finally something would be done were dashed when the debate morphed into one over the rights of gun owners rather than the right to life of young schoolchildren. Some congressional colleagues, he writes, confided that any vote for gun safety would lower their NRA scores and increase the probability of their demise in the next election.
The identical scenario was to obtain after the mass shootings in the Orlando, Florida nightclub in June 2016 and the failure of a proposed amendment to prevent people on the terrorist watch list from purchasing firearms, opposed by the Republican chairman of the House Appropriations Committee on the basis that “in America, everyone is innocent until proven guilty.”
This principle is not peculiar to the US, but according to an October 2 article in the online newsmagazine Vox, there are 29.7 homicides by firearm per 1 million in the US people as compared to 1.4 in Australia and 1.6 in New Zealand, two jurisdictions that embrace the identical presumption.
Congressman Israel offers finally three reasons why nothing will change. First, he notes, the gun lobbies are now in a race to the bottom to see who can become more brazen and more extreme since more moderation means less market share. Second, the political right now adheres to the view that anything less than total subservience to the gun lobby is perceived as supporting gun confiscation, anathema to that sector. Third, there is the public inoculation to gun violence –“You’ll read this essay and others like it, and turn the page or click another link”, he writes presciently. You’ll watch or listen to the news and shake your head, then flip to another channel or another app. This horrific event will recede into our collective memory….”
Exactly what the gun lobby is counting on.

ANCIENT MOORS IN AMERICA | WE DIDN’T LAND ON PLYMOUTH ROCK BECAUSE WE WERE ALREADY HERE
BY Sharif Ali ☪ ✡ • 1:06 PM • 188 Comments
I originally wrote this on my personal Facebook page as a note but it’s very much applicable to this site so I thought I’d share it here as well. There is another article on here that talks about this subject and has a 400 year old book that talks about how America is the original Egypt. This was written in the 1600s by European explorers mind you. Here is the link to that article.
You know one of the biggest lies perpetrated is that we were all brought over here on slave ships from Africa. Seriously, it is a huge deal. Everything is hidden in plain sight too. They always act like the Native Americans are almost extinct, like they are less than 1% of the population.
When Christopher Columbus landed in the West Indies, he described the people on the islands as dark skin people like the Ethiopians. California was populated by black people as well. Europeans who sailed to America described and drew pictures of the people of America as a dark skin and copper colored with Afros, long hair, or wavy hair.
this is what the black californians look like
Black Californians
pharell native controversy Black people lived in North, Central, South America, and the Caribbean, before any slave ships ever arrived here which is why Columbus described the dark skin natives as looking like Ethiopians. Don’t fall for the fake outrage at people like Pharell Williams for embracing his Native American roots.
It’s ridiculous that white people masquerading as the true natives are able to do this. The last thing they need are so-called African Americans realizing who we are and getting some of the billions of dollars generated by the casino gaming industry.
There already are some black people that claim their roots and have been able to get into this lucrative industry and it pisses the fake Indians off. I’ll speak more on that in a different article but this runs deep. Trust me this is possibly the biggest lie perpetrated by this government and the lie is beginning to crumble down.
The Numbers Simply Don’t Add Up!!!
According to “Slave Statistics” by Hugh Thomas published in 1997 by Simon and Schuster somewhere around 500,000 Africans were transported to North America between 1619-1865. But because of the horrible conditions the Africans were packed in on the slave ships half of them died during the journey.
This means that the actual amount of Africans that made it to North America alive was between 250,000-300,000 over a period of 240 years. If so few Africans were brought over to North America why are there so many African Americans living here today? In 2013 US Census Bureau estimated 45 million African Americans in the United States. No other group in the US had a growth rate this high!
Statistics state less than 1% of all Indigenous people of North and South America are in existence as a result of European conquests. Ninety-five (95%) percent were massacred by Columbus and his European crews shortly after 1492. That quickly huh???
Around 1900, it was thought Native Americans were on the brink of extinction with only 250,000 left. Yet, there is actual physical evidence in the form of artifacts of dark skinned, curly hair texture natives. There are written accounts of the Native Americans being called Ethiopians by the European explorers and described as having the same features of the modern-day African American.
WW,
Regret not being able to communicate since this morning. U had me so scared that I have been sitting on the washroom for many hours, biting my finger nails and generally contemplating suicide! NOT! Was having lunch at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse.
I am not concerned as I know that sanity will prevail after the Collapse, when many will die! Hopefully it wont be more than a couple million Americans, but it makes weird sense to CULL the population so I could be wrong! While I do wish that things will improve for all the poor people, I have confidence resulting from those that own the vast majority of Nukes are American, additionally they have far more than half the Nuke subs positioned around the Globe, so superior advantage. Power comes from the Nukes. lol
Where is Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse…MoneyB….sounds like one of those eateries in St. Claire.
Ya sure ya weren’t imbibing, since alcohol as been more or less deregulated…LCBO is no longer our only supply source….lol

What feud?
When Trump married his first wife, his current wife was SIX years old and living thousands of miles away. Clearly the current wife did not break up the marriage of the first wife. And I don’t know why the first wife, from whom Trump has been divorced since 1992 would be making a claim to the unofficial title first lady.
Look people. Marriages end. Get over it.

Another updated post on his website by P. C. Roberts re. the Las Vegas shooting.
PCR, as promised, has published the comments of other professional medical personnel submitted to him regarding the unusually quick recovery of some supposed wounded victims of the Las Vegas shooting. From their demeanour and behaviour while videoed recovering in hospital (as seen in some videos posted to you tube), it would appear that the wounds and injuries they suffered were not nearly as traumatic and severe as some medical authorities would have expected based on the type of high powered firearm(s) alleged to have been used in the attack.
This anomaly was first drawn to PCR’s attention by an anonymous Dr. KS who claimed to be a retired military surgeon with extensive experience in operating on and repairing damage in victims of high velocity bullet wounds and the associated traumatic injuries to surrounding bone and flesh that almost invariably accompany such wounds. Dr. KS also claimed he believed the alleged victims seen in the videos were probably incompetent actors playing a role for the camera and not real recovering victims of very recent gun shot wounds. You can read the original post with the letter from Dr. KS at: paulcraigroberts(DOT)org/2017/10/09/military-surgeon-says-videos-las-vegas-gunshot-victims-fake/
UPDATE: This from a UK trauma surgeon:
I write in full agreement with my surgical colleague in Florida, Dr KS.
A retired orthopaedic and trauma surgeon who served in our NHS. I have not dealt with high velocity gunshot wounds but I have studied the terrible injuries in Palestinians in Gaza caused by every type of modern weapon – there are many thousands.
I have a forensic inclination and took a leading part in calling for an inquest into the unnatural death of Dr David Kelly in July 2003 and more recently into unexplained features in the death of Jo Cox MP.
I agree with KS that the demeanour of the ‘patients’ does not fit at all with alleged HV bullet injury. ‘Ploughing’- destruction of soft tissue would be greater in some from ricochets which would have happened with most of the shots given the concrete plaza and the alleged thirty story origin.
Another comment:
Regarding hospital video: I agree an ICU patient is not going to be laughing. I also point out that the people “milling” around don’t seem concerned on the status of anybody. They seem to be putting in their time — much as a job. I can also point out that there is a sense of urgency in a trauma center when there is a massive influx of traumatized patients — that chaotic urgency is missing.

MB TELL MA THAT THE BELOW IS A LIE MURDAH
A gun is only a tool.
The person using it determines whether it is used for defense or to harm others. Focusing on controlling access to firearms is a counterproductive attack on our liberty and right of self-defense. Most gun deaths are either suicide or gang related, and since criminals, by definition, disobey laws, no laws restricting firearms access are going to reduce these deaths. Someone determined to commit suicide can do it without a gun.
The current background check system is a joke. Many of the recent mass shooters passed the checks, and those who knew they couldn’t, bought their guns privately or stole them. Some people have been denied firearms because of computer errors when they should have been able to buy them, and very few who fail the check are prosecuted for trying to buy when they were not legally allowed to. Some people have even died while waiting for their permit to own a gun. The deadliest cities in this country all have very restrictive gun laws, and violent crime statistics have been declining nationally as more states loosened up on concealed carry and open carry regulations.
Gun free zones tell attackers that nobody there will be able to quickly stop them, so they have time to build up the body count until somebody with a gun arrives to stop them. When an entertainment venue is gun free, the patrons either have to travel there disarmed, or leave their guns in their cars. Criminals love this because it makes it easy for them to steal those guns, and then you have that many more available on the black market.
We don’t blame the tool in any other situation where people are murdered. Did we blame the bomb in OK City at the Murrah Building? Did we blame the airplanes on 9/11 and try to ban them? Did anyone call for pressure cooker regulations after the Boston Marathon bombing? Prosecute the people who misuse firearms, but don’t disarm the responsible law-abiding citizens. Predators will always obtain the weapons they want. Disarming the rest of us only makes us prey.

WW,
A really good excuse for the KKK?????????????????
Planted by the Devil?
IQ was in short supply in that area?
Water is tainted???
I dont and would never associate with extremists.
GP,
Major gun control in TO, nearly all murders here are by drug gangs, who have illegal guns and surely not giving them up anytime soon.
Bloody City clowns here placed barriers on the Danforth Bridge to prevent suicides at a cost of $10mn++. So now they jump in front the subway instead, psychologically damaging other people!
Humans shoot people not guns. ISIS figured that out and the new strategy is very effective.
Americans love guns. They sure hate politicians, dont trust them so they have no intention of giving guns up–not going to happen. I am all for restricting guns, magasine sizes, automatics etc but all this talk is a wasre of time.
Check the murder rate in Japan. Check the number of guns per thousand compared to the USA. What lessons can be learned?
The police in Japan have to now look for work to do, they have hardly have crime…..it just goes to show that the circulation of illegal guns is malicious and deliberate to create murders and ioher crimes…it’s multi purpose…..and nit enough is being done to stop it, the reason why it’s epidemic,
http://ow.ly/yz1R30fOcxS
“As crime dries up, Japan’s police hunt for things to do
There was just one fatal shooting in the whole of 2015
Print edition | Asia
May 18th 2017 | TOKYO
THE stake-out lasted a week, but it paid off in the end. The tireless police of Kagoshima, a sleepy city in the far south of the country, watched the unlocked car day and night. It was parked outside a supermarket, and contained a case of malt beer. Finally, a passing middle-aged man decided to help himself. Five policemen instantly pounced, nabbing one of the city’s few remaining law-breakers.
Japan’s cluttered streets are not always pretty but they are remarkably safe. Crime rates have been falling for 13 years. The murder rate of 0.3 per 100,000 people is among the lowest in the world; in America it is almost 4 (see chart). A single gun slaying was recorded for the whole of 2015. Even yakuza gangsters, once a potent criminal force, have been weakened by tougher laws and old age.”
David,
After Fukishima the Japs were very orderly, they are a totally different mindset and society to the USA. Jap is one of the most homgeneous societies on Earth, indeed they wont even accept immigrants even though due to their Demographic spectrum it is very obvious from 30 yrs ago that they should. JAP economy is in deep structural trouble as a result of no immigration.
It should be obvious to anyone with an IQ over 90 that if we could just snap our fingers and all the guns in private hands would disappear from the USA it would have a drastically reduced shooting rate. America never got away from their Cowboy/ Wild West self image. Which other country had such? If they intended to change, with all the shooting deaths they have had, they surely would have by now. Canada is very similar in many ways to the US but no real Wild West mentality historically.
Americans just dont trust Govt, especially in the last 20-30 yrs as their living standard has declined precipitously. They will not give up their gun rights as they feel any sign of weakness will be a slippery slope to total gun ban.
It would be much more productive to have Town Halls etc on ” How to Solve Race Relation Problems in the USA” Straight honest discussion with sensible, practical solutions.
@MB
Japan has an immigration policy just that it is strict?
https://www.quora.com/Why-does-Japan-not-allow-immigrants
Your other point has merit, it is a culture thing with the US and guns. Even the Yakuza punishes it’s members if they use guns.
David, it’s a culture thing called wealth and money.
The language of the second amendment ensured one thing: a robust and continued armaments industry.
MB’s and the Doc’s argumentation is the standard talking points re a gun defense…. the same can be said for liquor or automobiles vis that it’s the person and not the tool which causes the damage.
Yet for various reasons the US has placed serious bans on aspects related to alcohol consumption and also how autos are used on roads…one can argue that rules and restrictions there are more draconian than with guns….
So sentiment we can put aside and recognize that the US gun culture is really more about the billion $$ gun and related weaponry industry … plain n simple.
Dribs,
There is no doubt that weapons and the Military Industrial Complex are exceedingly powerful.
Why you think Barry expanded Afghanistan? Scared to become JFK 2.0? He did not want to go heavy in Vietnam! These Deeep State/ Pentagon types love $TRs Budget and want to keep ENEMIES! Russia can never be friends no matter what. Bogeyman required.
Now another individual professing to be a trauma surgeon has reported to Paul Craig Roberts that the videos of the Las Vegas shooting incident and the videos of cheerful and garrulous victims making remarkably quick recoveries in hospital just two or three days after allegedly being shot do not appear to be realistic.
The letter to PCR starts as follows:
(Note that Paul Craig Roberts is an economist with a PhD, not a medical doctor)
Dear Dr. Roberts:
This note is in response to your invitation for medical professionals to comment on the LV shootings with respect to the authenticity of the publicly available videos and whether they prove or disprove that actual victims were injured or killed. I am a retired surgeon with experience in managing patients with massive blood loss in an operating room setting and in other in-hospital cases of marked hemodynamic instability from hemorrhage.
The retired surgeon from Florida made many excellent points already and I will try not to repeat them. Here are some additional problems with the scene as presented in the publicly available videos:
You can read the letter in full here [replace the (DOT) with a “.” in the URL] :
paulcraigroberts(DOT)org/2017/10/11/american-trauma-surgeon-responds/
This all brings to mind a curious incident from the Boston bombing terror attack which caused another individual with medical training and experience in dealing with blood loss inducing injuries and medical trauma (he trained and worked as an EMT) to see on that previous occasion what appeared to be role playing crisis actors rather than genuine victims of a bomb blast and flying shrapnel.
“No blood. No blood. No blood. Where is the Blood?” A video of the Boston bombing aftermath.
@MB, you obviously enjoy your posting mirth moments as at 5:56 PM. Obviously, yours is a jump ball style to let the ball fall where it may…
As David said in another context your theorem is archaic…. the US does not need Russia as any bogeyman… but your happy analysis can be excused based on your other disjointed posts!😁
What I look forward to you and Chad et al posting about is the rather clearer perspectIve that a sitting US president may be removed from office as unfit.
This leader has been called a moron by his Secretary of State, accused of needing adult day care guidance in the WH by a senior Senator of his party and has threatened war against another sovereign nation.
He again threatens idly to suppress the free press and meanwhile more high ranking officials are rumored for imminent firing or resignation.
Can we start an illegal wager here on whether he lasts until this time next year? I offer $100 that he isn’t. Let David hold the pot.
WHILE GANGS HAVE ALWAYS existed in Barbados, they have become more organised with a “complex and sophisticated network”.
What unsophisticated nonsense, which passes as the kind of crypto criminology that informs policy. Where is the evidence? Who are the members of these organised gangs, the boys on the block?
We must look at the social and geographical bias in these bogus claims. Young men (and women) at the prime of their lives (aged between 16 and 24), with no quality education, no skills, no jobs, left to drift at street corners and playing dominoes all day.
Are these the threat to our national security as officials claim, or is it the ‘big boys’ who live in the gated communities, who import their commercial tat in containers in which they hide their semi-automatic guns and ammunition?
Who are the organised gangsters, the senior civil servants, politicians and business people who organise to get their children and their friends’ children jobs and training in what is meant to be a meritocratic society?
Who are the organised gangsters, the teachers who fail ordinary working kids in formal schools then arrange for parents to send them to exorbitant private lessons?
Who are the organised gangsters, ministers who can arrange for police who shot and killed their neighbours while off duty to get bail and not face the wrath of the courts?
Who are the organised gangsters, those within the criminal justice system who conveniently ‘lose’ files belonging to top criminals allegedly for a fee?
It is the role of critical thinkers to avoid the group thinking that dominates Barbadian public life and dredge below the surface nonsense of these statements and get to the bottom of what is really undermining Barbadian society.
From Brasscheck TV, brasscheck(DOT)com :
Major changes to the official Las Vegas timeline
The ridiculousness of the original official story is unraveling.
Now it turns out hotel security knew there was a man firing a gun on the 32nd floor INSIDE the hotel SIX FULL MINUTES before he started shooting out the window.
It also turns out that Paddock was permitted to use the freight elevator, a perk only given to VIP guest.
In the interview we ran yesterday, Steve Wynn, casino owner, implied that this was the case and then backed off it, meaning there are at least two narratives going on: one for insiders and one for the rest of us.
Here’s the news timeline (as delivered by the police)
9:59 – “More than 200 rounds shot were shot into the hallway and the security guard was injured by a ricocheting bullet.”
The security guard who claims he was shot calls security immediately and reports the shooting.
10:05 – The shooting into the crowd begins
10:12 – Two cops make it to the 31st floor after “searching every floor” and say “they hear shooting on the floor above.”
10:15 – The shooting stops
10:55 – Police are still waiting in the stairwell of 32nd floor
11:20 – SWAT team arrives and blows the door of his room

“N.C. airport bomb suspect wanted ‘to fight a war on U.S. soil,’ complaint says
JOHN BOYLE | Asheville (N.C.) Citizen-Times
Updated 4:16 a.m. AST Oct. 11, 2017
ASHEVILLE, N.C. — A man who authorities say planted an explosive device that contained ammonium nitrate and fuel oil at a regional North Carolina airport Friday said he was preparing to “fight a war on U.S. soil,” according to a criminal complaint filed in federal court.
The suspect, Michael Christopher Estes, is charged with attempted malicious use of explosive materials and unlawful possession of explosive materials in an airport.
During his first appearance in federal court Tuesday, he waived his right to a preliminary hearing. A federal judge assigned an attorney to Estes, fin ding that he is indigent.
The criminal complaint, filed by FBI agent James A. Anderson and read in court Tuesday, states that Asheville Regional Airport police officers found “what appeared to be an improvised explosive device” early Friday morning outside the airport terminal.
More: Feds unseal charges in foiled NYC terror plot; concerts, subway targeted
After he was taken into custody, Estes waived his rights and agreed to answer questions, the complaint states. Estes “admitted that he placed the explosive device at the Asheville Airport,” the complaint states. “He also explained that he bought the precursor materials at Walmart and Lowe’s.”
That was the only way some news outlets got hold of the story to expose the cover up a day ago….so we can feast on the evil that resides in too MANY white people’s hearts.
Cleveland woman pulled a Gun on a barber as he was too slow cutting her son’s hair, just received 6 months in prison!
Some people real rass crazy and wunna geniuses trying to make out that POPO are so evil in the Garden of Eden that is urban life in the USA. The Urban Americans are very aggressive and the Police are under enormous strain as they know when they respond to any call it maybe their last call.
I have seen LIVE PD where the police are abused for nothing more than conducting their jobs eg speeding over 100mph on Arizona Hwy and leading on high speed chase until suspect comes off the Hwy and stops, under their law that speed is a felony and so the police takes the driver from the car at gunpoint as he has endangered lives.
Second Popo arrives on scene later and goes to the car to ensure that the woman and lil kid are alright, the female jumps out and screams at him and starts slapping him in the face. Policeman does a brilliant job trying to pacify her. Little did the woman know that the policeman had been shot in the face at a traffic stop 5yrs earlier, he could easily have had a flashback and shot up the car with her child in it. That my friends is wicked stress contained.

Think cat among pigeons, oppositionist for fun and elucidation, just reminding there are at least 3 sides to every story.
I do appreciate your ability to think though, even if not always correct. For me it is a method of keeping in touch with my Bajan roots. I seldom have or take time to present a case as if it is going before Parliament.

Well said, Hal!
Things are looking up as you fathom the depth of the social morass afflicting your innocently halcyon view of boyhood days in your former quaint and stupidly disciplined Barbados.
This is not a ‘stamp’ of any “validation” but simply a word of advice as to why so many people on this blog and on others are ‘socially’ forced to resort to the use of a moniker to hide behind a mask to veil their real identity.
They all share a similar deep-seated love and concern for Barbados and try to express it in their own way of patriotic fervo(u)r.
But very few like the eponymous Jesus (including you who are thousands of miles away from the arena of the local gangsters) are prepared to raise their heads above the local parapet of righteousness and end up being crucified and their family shot down in a hail of bullets from unknown but highly protected sources.

Jethro Miller,
The decision to use a pseudonym when posting on BU or any other site is understandable if the person is adding to our knowledge, or is a whistleblower, I have said this before. A pseudonym cannot be used, however, to be vulgar, obscene, threatening, repulsive or libellous. There is simply no excuse for such behaviour – especially from mature people.
Yeal Miller…who are the organized gangsters that robbed Bajan CLICO policyholders, oh we know, Leroy Parris and his sidekick David Thompson.

Keep that kind of information under cover. We just don’t want to confuse poor Hal, do we now?
From one side of his forked tongue he wants people to put their lives on the ‘open’ line and blow the whistle on those engaging in wrongdoing; but from the other side of slithering hypocrisy he wants decent people to shut up and put up where his pal Leroy Greenverbs Parris concerned even in the face of stark forensically-gathered evidence.
What can we do with that black slimy limey sailor so late in morning of reality in Bim?
Let him (Hal) use his investigatory journalistic skills and find out if Leroy Greenverbs is kosher as far as his income tax responsibilities are concerned.
He can check with Walter Blackman, el numero uno whistle blower, on this matter.
It was not the worst thing he ever said in his illustrious career but at the time as it jumped out at me and I thought my PM had disrespected himself and his office when he called the US president Reagan ‘that cowboy’ and later on a ‘programmed zombie’….but there was a clear context and he also lambasted other Caribbean leaders for in his view kowtowing to the US.
But all in all, tart tongue Barrow treated his office, himself, his colleagues and his opponents with due respect..they in turn attacked relentlessly but with some degree of respect as well…. that cannot be said of “that moron’ in the WH.
It’s amusing that the commander in chief can say some of those most puerile, petty, insulting words and can also lie pathologically but immediately he receives a crtique as a result of his disrespectful, unsavory behaviour there are folks who cry foul so loudly.
Look what the moron just gone and do now
President Donald Trump is trying to do with the stroke of a pen what Republicans in Congress could not — bring about the end of the Obamacare markets.
Trump will sign an executive order on Thursday directing an overhaul of major federal regulations that would encourage the rise of a raft of cheap, loosely regulated health insurance plans that don’t have to comply with certain Obamacare consumer protections and benefit rules. They’d attract younger and healthier people — leaving older and sicker ones in the Obamacare markets facing higher and higher costs.
It’s not yet clear how far the administration will go, or how quickly it can implement the president’s order. But if successful, the new rules could upend the way businesses and individuals buy coverage — lowering premiums for the healthiest Americans at the expense of key consumer protections and potentially tipping the Obamacare markets into a tailspin.
“Within a year, this would kill the market,” said Karen Pollitz, a senior fellow at the Kaiser Family Foundation who previously worked at former President Barack Obama’s Health and Human Services Department.

“What can we do with that black slimy limey sailor so late in morning of reality in Bim?”
As they reveal themselves..lol
So what would you suggest as a replacement for Obamacare?
In 8 years Clinton signed 364 Executive orders, GW Bush 291 and Obama 276. 45 has signed 49 so far and if the moron lasts 4 years he is on track for 325. This is a man who said Obama couldn’t get anything done so he had to sign Executive orders. The moron’s Party is in control of both houses of Congress but he is reduced to signing Executive orders weekly.
trump has 12 months left, tops….he is becoming irrelevant daily.
Manafort already rolled over on him to Mueller in their Russia scams, ya expect he would go down alone, oh please….so it’s just a matter of time…dahling.
The power of real history…..
“The last “EMPEROR” of Mexico (1466-1520) “EMPEROR” Muteczuma Rex ultimis a Aboriginal “Africa Black man” before the Spanish conquest of Mexico, before the present white and yellow Mexicans started appearing in that land it was rule by BLACK PEOPLE.
In them days Mexico included Texas, New Mexico California and Colorado so its safe to say he ran the majority of North America too. The picture above is Muteczuma. The last king of the Aztects is shown in a full African war dress, with a picture of part of modern Mexico City behind him. It was no cameras at that time so people drew pictures. This portrait is from map maker John Ogilby’s “Complete History of America”, one of the most influential and accurate works of the 17th Century.
The Aztecs had an advanced civilization that appreciated music and poetry; they also excelled in architecture, astronomy, engineering, and mathematics. The Aztecs worshiped many gods including the gods of the Olmecs, with the god of war being dominant, they sometimes fought with neighboring Indian tribes.
During the reign of Muteczuma the Aztecs were conquered by Spaniards under the command of Hernán Cortés (1485–1547). Even though the white man skin color looked strange to the black Aboriginal people of Mexico at that time, Muteczuma didn’t wage war against the white man he tried peace and welcomed him.
Excerpts from (The Conquest of Mexico) Cortes Meets Muteczuma November, 1519…………
“When the Aztec ambassadors brought to Tenochtitlan the news that Cortes, heedless of Muteczuma’s wishes, was already over the mountains, and moving across the plains to Mexico, the Emperor, beside himself with terror and anxiety, shut himself up and refused to eat, finally convinced that the Spaniards were indeed sent by the gods to overturn the might of his mountain empire, which had been so secure until these STRANGE WHITE BEING HAD INVADED HIS LAND.
Despondently Muteczuma summoned his nobles in council. Cacama, the King of Tezcuco, not knowing how he was to hate the white men later, advised the Emperor to receive Cortes courteously as ambassador of a foreign prince. Cuitlahua, the Emperor’s brother, urged him to gather his forces and drive back the white men before they set foot in the kingdom. Hopelessly Muteczuma disregarded both suggestions”.
Despite the warnings Muteczuma felt victim to the same thing the Africans in Kemet felt victim to when they first encounter the Greeks in 300 BC. “Even though they saw the white man as being different they saw him as a brother.” The black man meekness when dealing with the white man is his continuous weakness.
During the summer of 1519 Muteczuma tried to dissuade Cortés and his troops from coming to Tenochtitlan by sending messengers with gifts. When the Spaniards came anyway Muteczuma welcomed them, thinking that they were descendants of the Aztec god Quetzalcoatl. A week later Cortés took Muteczuma hostage as a strategy to gain control of the black Aztecs through their leader.
When the Africa black Aztecs rebelled against the Spaniards in May 1520, Cortés allowed Muteczuma to speak to his angry people.(by this time Muteczuma was considered a SELL OUT by his people because of the way he handled things in dealing with the Spaniards) The Emperor was wounded in the uprising, but historians are not certain whether his wounds were inflicted by the Spanish or the black Aztecs. Muteczuma died three days later. Although the enraged black Aztecs drove the Spaniards from Tenochtitlan, Cortés returned the following year and conquered the city, ending the Black Aztec Empire.
CONCLUSION.
Our history has been told to us by Europeans with a European point of view. We have until now, been given our historical facts in a “distorted manner.” Historians has come to understand that they must handle journals, government reports, sermons, books and all diaries written by Europeans about Aboriginal Black Native Americans CAUTIOUSLY, as artifacts of Europeans adjustment to cultural diversity rather than true guides of black Indian societies.
This European adjustment has given us a “distorted view” and has allowed many misconceptions and inaccuracies to be perpetrated. Case and point MOST PEOPLE still believe the existence of people of African ancestory in America began with the slave trade when the truth is most of us was aleady here..”
look what that mad moron gone and do now to the un-affordable care act

That @Simple Simon is the trillion $ question: “So what would you suggest as a replacement for Obamacare?”.
Give Trump props for the conviction of his promise to repeal. One assumes this edict was basically ready from day one but a legislative fix was deemed the thorough way to proceed… that failed so he has now acted.
Notwithstanding the legal hurdles from the various challenges one can say that the ACA has been exploded … effectively repealed as the average person can no longer afford it. Hooray for keeping a promise.
But what now… his new plans do not appear to provide any type of relief to the millions who will no longer have insurance. The ‘replace’ part is absent.
Fixing the US Health insurance industry has vexed the pols since the Clinton major effort of the 90s and of coure for many years prior to that, yet in one fell swoop this wise man presumes that he can craft a remedy by exploding a complex and flawed law with actions which are FUNDAMENTALLY counter intuitive for insurance success.
It is shocking the gross malfeasance displayed by the president and his team of advisers…so ACA is dead…but what about the many who will now flood back to emergency rooms for base care and those who can’t get coverage due to pre-existing ailments…. there will be many dead and dying there too.
One can only presume Mr Trump is ready for the blowback that his ‘replace’ options are not viable for the masses with no subsides …
But then again he never sweats details… as everything is so easy.
What a political mess he has wrought simply because of hubris and hate… this is not governance but merely self serving, narcissism under a Republican masquerade.
@GP
Dig two graves
