After listening to him during the presidential campaign, I did not “assume that behind closed doors he was a smart and able businessman, making tough decisions on the fly, handling many issues at once.” Trump came over to me as behaving and talking like an idiot, even against the background of those who tried pushing the argument that he is a successful business man.
A similar argument could be advanced for Leroy “Green Verbs” Parris. We all know Parris is a millionaire, but after listening to him speak, we often form a different opinion of him.

The United States have no ancestral lands. It belongs (ed) to the Cherokee, the Sioux,the Seminoles, the Mohicans, and many many other tribes.Who lived there hundreds of years before the white man landed.
He talks about Border security; obviously thinking only of the Mexicans, but all the other borders where Europeans get into the U.S. including Canada, are so located that he cannot build any wall. They tried to invade Canada at one time, and lost. One thing I discovered when I visited Cuba, some years ago. I travelled by COPA airlines, from Trinidad via Panama. When the plane landed in Panama, many many Cubans boarded. I discovered that they had been shopping in Panama, and later found out that the purchases they had made; based on the amount of luggage they had, the consumer goods normally found in Florida, they were able to obtain the goods they were being unable to buy in Florida,; because of the U.S. embargo on trade, were easily obtained in Panama.
Trump will discover that there is a world out there that can fulfil the needs of people who don’t want to trade with the u.S., and anything the u.S. can supply can also be supplied by others. Chad, the MEXICANS DON’T HAVE TO DEPEND ON THE U.S. FOR ANYTHING. N.A.F.T.A. WAS BORN OUT OF THE DESIRE BY AMERICAN INVESTORS TO MAKE USE OF “CHEAP” LABOUR. they expected, and have used this arrangement to increase their profits. Trump will find out what I SAID before. When one makes rules on the fly they are inviting disaster. Trump had a “hate-on” for Mexicans from the time he descended the elevator at his golden edifice and announced that he is running for President while describing Mexicans as rapists and criminals, and the country would be much better off without them. He continued his tirade against Mexicans throughout the campaign. As fate would have it an American judge of Mexican heritage ruled against him in a civil case and he went ballistic intimating that because of the juror’s background he would be biased against him (one can say with equanimity that because of Trump’s German heritage he is a Nazi) but I digress. The case that was “without merit” was settled by Trump for 25 million
Having promised to “build a wall” to keep Mexicans out of the country he had no choice but to try to keep his desperate group of supporters in his corner by signing an Executive Order authorizing the building of a wall. When his Republican Congress balked at the idea that the cost would be coming out of American’s pocket Trump at his most bellicose announced that Mexico would pay for it. When the Mexicans demurred as is their right he announced a punitive 20% tax on all imports from Mexico to punish the Mexicans.
Upon further review before one can say hola! thinking people were saying how does that hurt Mexico? it will hurt the American consumers who buy the imported goods and the US companies who in the main own the businesses in Mexico that export goods to the US. In this global economy as companies want to increase their earnings they out- source some of their manufacturing to lower costs and make bigger profits, it is part of the Capitalism model that has been around for years and no one knows this better than Trump whose branded clothing is outside the USA.
The captains of Industry in the US, those tasked with making healthy profits for their shareholders and whose remuneration depends on those profits will start to be resist when their bottom line gets smaller as a result of his policies and one or two may be brave enough to speak out at which time the floodgates will open.
Act in haste, repent at leisure.

If only the Native Americans, the real citizens of the US and Native Canadians, the real citizens of Canada, had thought of gopd fences and high walls a few hundred years ago, when the stragglers from UK, Germany, Ireland, Scotland etc had washed up on their shores….they would still be happy on their lands and not made to feel like strangers, by the strangers who stole it from them.
Let’s not forget the Aborigines in Australia and New Zealand….right Lawson.

These people just had another election foisted on them, without their participation, opinions or any discussion on their rights. Has any Native Indian, or representatives of their tribes been interviewed on ANY media outlet?
