    To have mortgages like these there has to be substantial income to services these loans?? She not even claiming interest relief on these tax forms ???
    If I’m reading them correctly her only real income is from rrsp’s and her world wide income is zero which is not consistent with her high flyer lifestyle

    Congratulations to BU et al on REAL investigative journalism on a matter of major national importance. The local press should be ashamed that you are consistently beating them to it. Since they now have the information and documents courtesy of BU, one wonders if they will have the nerve to run with it. The ultimate embarrassment would be if the international press gets there first.

    She is paying (not paying) Ridgemount 17%, and thought that Cameron Stephens was ripping her off. What rate was Cameron Stephens mortgage if 17% is better?

    Gotta have another look at the Canada Revenue Agency forms; but first the emails.

    In her email at 11:44 AM on September 14, 2015, to Tim Gleason, (obviously in response to a phone call, text message, or email from Gleason immediately after the first court appearance at 9:30 AM on the same date), MECC said “I have no idea who Alvin Cummins is or what website he is referring to.

    This is in connection Alvin Cummins’ GOTCHA.

    She obviously knows the website he is referring to is BU, because:

    In her email to Philip and Bjorn she said “i can put up with the BS that Barbados underground is saying about myself and minister Lowe….”

    So she does know what website AC is referring to, but she is not providing Gleason with full disclosure. (What a surprise)

    Gleason has also told her he needs a retainer, and apparently that $10K would cover Gleason for representing her at the September 14 hearing and the September 21 hearing, which AC attended.

    It is not yet finished..There is a date in November mentioned. You will get your report from the sources who have the Written record

    Regrettably, DD does not have a report as to the outcome of the September 21 hearing.

    It is clear from her email to Gleason that MECC cannot summon the 35K to defend a motion; but it is not clear if she could come up with the 10K for a retainer.
    The email to Philip and Bjorn is bewildering.

    MECC says she has been telling the purported investors for over a month that she has been asking government for a date for them to visit, but has not heard back from Denis.

    And that the PM comes out a day after the MOF made a major announcement, and said that what Chris announced wasn’t necessarily true.

    And that the government had agreed to to start the King Grass plantations, but “in reality I did not think they could afford it” so she arranged for the investors to offer Minister Estwick to pay the 6-8 million to start them.

    What a way to instill confidence in potential investors in the integrity of the GOB.

    If the Four Ministers (and the Prime Minister) have not managed to destroy Barbados’ reputation as a place to do business, in her desperation MECC is driving the last nail in the coffin.

    Oh, and BTW, I did a reverse phone lookup on the CDN (Toronto) office phone number 416-929-0759, with the response “no listing found”

    The isssue/issues and those having knowledge being that of parties to or having information akin to legal matters connected to the Clare Cowan litigation must be fully aware that these matters can be litigated by variuos channels and therfore it is incumbent that All Facts be clarified and remained relevant so as not to involved those who have no knoweldge of or any type of information be drawn into a legal process.

    You guys are in the process of trying to destroy the individula Clare Cowan, But how does that removed or void the goal of the govt efforts on having the WTE plant built in barbados u might succeed in killing a messenger but the message and the goals remain the same cognizant of the fact that there are others with similar interest in mind to engage govt in building a WTE
    i meaning you guys might have done diligence sufficiently to hurt or damage one individual reputation but not sufficient enough for govt not to pursue with great enormity the goal of having a WTE plant in barbados,.
    i guess after all this fanfare and revelations and hard work u guys still have plenty work on the drawing board left to do ..Good Luck.

    again i say, that the goal is to have a WTE whether it be Cahill or any other investor , the goal/goals in mind remain the same . far from it for the govtto renege on its plans to save taxpayers billions in dollars in energy cost , it is not a matter of” if” but in all probability the stakes are very high for a WTE to be built in the near future a probability that will not be underestimated
    so i say to you the plans remain sterile and investors with the financial availability will be including in pursuing the WTE plant

    Dear Ms Cowan, not all persons in Barbados can be bought or are willing to rob the taxpayers. Unfortunately Denis, Darcy, Chris and Bjerkham did not tell you that bajans are socially restyled and very neck savvy. Bajans are tired of widespread corruption.Denis Lowe will not answer your calls for he is wishing he is dead for the kitchen hot as hell.

    Here is what may possibly play out.
    1) Prime Minister fires ministers and calls early elections, we know he too selfish to take such action for power is sweet.
    2) Allow you to proceed and face civil disobedience which will make 1937 look like kids gloves especially with so many restless youth unemployed.
    3) Do not approve Cahill Energy Barbados.

    Dear ac: If government has to import used tyres (with Lord knows what mosquitoes and snakes inside of them) and grow king grass (instead of food) to feed a monstrous waste to energy plant that that is not a goal that any government should be trying to accomplish

    Government should.

    Get Bajans to recycle. If our grandparents managed to build the Panama Canal surely we can learn to recycle.
    Landfill what cannot be recycled.
    Step up our use of renewable resources. There are 5 billion years of energy left in the sun. We get sunshine everyday. Increased solar energy use has to be cheaper, cleaner and more efficient.
    Let the woman from the Great White North build the WTE in Canada.

    1) Clare is the first casualty end of that story.
    2) The second casualty is not a single casualty its is a series of casualties ensuing from this single one. I will elaborate and your tiefing colleagues will confirm as Pat confirmed that the cell phone number was/is Claire’s. The “Perfect Storm” speaks to a configuration of suck proportions that anyone or anything in its path is unfortunately going to be a casualty. Clare Cowan has, in one sweep, done what no opposition crafted marches along Broad Street could do, DESTROY THE CREDIBILITY OF THE DEMOCRATIC LABOUR PARTY ON THE WORLD STAGE!!!

    For the WTE or any other DLP led initiative to proceed and access any funding in the climate of “clare and clear corruption” and the blatant “administrative impropriety” of the ministers of this government, well that is not only proving to be impossible but, as is being confirmed by the prolific knee jerk taxes being propagated, becoming an unmanageable construct for your government.

    The reference to giving Estwick 6 million has to do with Cahill funding the elephant grass exercise. If you followed the discussion from Cahill there was an expectation by them that government would have funded.

    Ridgemount FS Ltd is a mortgage put on her Four Seasons apartment as a guarantee that she would honour her commitment to pay the CAD$1.5M payment due and payable immediately upon signing the Power Purchase and Implementation Agreements. She did not honour her commitment and therefore they are acting on the security.
    When she says these fellas/guys are ruthless I hope you appreciate she is talking about Bajan bribe organisers and takers.

    I originally thought the same thing; but am not so sure now.

    It was in March 2014 that Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs Chris Sinckler made the announcement in the House of Assembly during his near three-hour introduction of the 2014-2015 Estimates Of Revenue And Expenditure, that Barbados had finally signed off on the much discussed multimillion-dollar state of the art plasma gasification waste-to-energy project set for Vaucluse in St Thomas.

    He stated “A major international energy company out of Canada is proposing and will invest in Barbados at least a minimum of US$240 million with the potential to raise it to US$300 [million], and it portends massive spin-offs in the economy”

    I am assuming that the sign-off in March 2014 would have included the MOU, the PPA and the IA.

    If it was only the MOU that had been signed in March 2014, surely the PM would not have allowed the PPA and the IA to be signed.

    The $1,500,00 mortgage to Ridgemount FS Ltd, was registered November 27, 2015. and Ridgemount was incorporated November 25, 2014.

    Alex Iscoe, the Director of Ridgemount is/was an investment banker who appears to come from a well-to-do background, having attended Upper Canada College.

    I think that Alex Iscoe simply saw the desperate MECC as an opportunity to make a high risk/high yield (17%) loan secured by a second mortgage on the property for which MECC had paid $6,524,245, and was subject to a first mortgage for $4,000.000.

    You may be correct about the purpose of the $1,500,000 charge, but it was registered and (presumably)advanced months after the original signing of the agreement(s).

    BTW – your moniker is certainly appropriate to the matter.
