Someone like Mr Ralph Jemmott ought to pen the story of Ms Akela Jones”s remarkable and resilient life thus far. Titled “A triumphant rise from the Ashes”; it would be food for thought for those of us particularly the young who blame our failures on everything but ourselves.

Indeed, hers is a story that should be part of a mandatory course for study by every Bajan student….especially the spoilt, mendicants that we have been producing since the 80’s…
Suffice to say that she represents a MUCH better investment for government funds than ANY of the other shiite on which our politicians have been so quick to lavish our tax funds and for which they have been quick to impose new shiite taxes….
But Bushie would not expect brass bowls to appreciate such a perspective….
