Nelson Mendela, am ICON!
Nelson Mendela, an ICON!

The lost of Nelson Mandela is a great lost to humanity. Very few people in the history of the world would have been important in changing world opinion. Nelson Mandela was one of those along with Mahatma Ghandi and our beloved Fidel Castro.

In the heyday of the Cuban Revolution in the 1950s, there was only one outstanding humanist besides Nelson Mandela and that was Fidel Castro.

Fidel Castro fought against the corruption of the United States in the Cuban Revolution and for that fight he was arrested, charged and tried. He was sentenced. Castro was sentenced on October 16, 1953 during which he delivered a speech that would be printed under the title of History Will Absolve Me. Castro was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment in the hospital wing of the Model Prison (Presidio Modelo), a relatively comfortable and modern institution on the Isla de Pinos.

Similarly, Nelson Mandela, in fighting for world humanity in the 1950s and specifically for humanity in South Africa, which at the time was governed by an Apartheid Government, was arrested, charged and tried by an all white court; white judge, white prosecutor. During that trial, Nelson Mandela, like Fidel Castro before him, made an important speech. In which he stated “During my lifetime I have dedicated myself to this struggle of the African people. I have fought against white domination, and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons live together in harmony and with equal opportunities. It is an ideal which I hope to live for and to achieve. But if needs be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die.”

Fidel’s speech on October 16th, 1953 and Nelson Mandela’s speech in 1964 show the humanity of these two great men. One has left us.

During the period of Nelson Mandela’s struggle for the freedom of all South African people which included; Blacks, Coloureds, Indians and Whites, the leading Western Governments including the Presidents of the United States of America from Ronald Reagan to George H. W. Bush agreed on not sanctioning the South African Government and in that way, supported the horrors inflicted by a white Supremist government on all non white persons.

During the early Apartheid days in South Africa, non white South Africans had to be out of the urban areas and return to their townships by 9pm and that position was accepted by among other countries United States of America, France, Germany, Portugal and Spain.

Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in prison and not a word, not a white government moved to change the system in South Africa to allow all South Africans to be equal.

When Africa erupted in its search for freedom, from the 1960s no white country helped them. But in the 1970s, Cuba was of great assistance to the following countries; The People’s Republic of the Congo, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique and Benin. Cuban technical, educational and medical staff in the tens of thousands were working in even more countries: Algeria (Tindouf), Mozambique, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Ethiopia, São Tomé and Príncipe,Tanzania, the Congo and Benin. Up to 18,000 students from these countries studied on full Cuban scholarships per year on the island.

The reason for Nelson Mandela’s freedom is the great military assistance in Angola, in its resistance against the government of South Africa with the help of the Cuban military forces and in no small way the assistance by the government of Barbados in allowing Cuban military planes to land at Seawell Airport for refueling on their way to South Africa with Cuban troops to fight against Apartheid and to assist Angola and Namibia.

In the most important military battle of 1987 against apartheid in which the South African Defence Forces (SADF) fought pitched tank and artillery battles with the Angolan army (FAPLA, the People’s Armed Forces for the Liberation of Angola) and its Cuban supporters at Cuito Cuanavale the south Africans were defeated. That was the military end of the apartheid regime in South Africa.

Secretly the United States of America Government, the British Government and the French Government among others started to negotiate with the African National Congress:

1. A release of Nelson Mandela from prison

2. A transfer of government by democratic means in which all south Africans will have one vote each. This will ensure that the African majority will take over government and that Nelson Mandela would become President.

But there was an underlying position taken by the United States Government, that Mandela would not be released immediately but will only be released after the dismantling of the nuclear facilities in South Africa. The American Government then, as now cannot understand non-white people having Nuclear weapons on their own soil. It took years to dismantle the nuclear facilities in South Africa, and only after that had been achieved, Nelson Mandela was released from prison.

It is also important to note that after Nelson Mandela became President of South Africa, the first country he visited was Libya, to show his recognition of the financial and military help that Muhammar Ghadaffi had given to the African National Congress during all the years of struggle, then he visited Cuba.

To hear Western countries like the Queen of England, Prime Minister Cameron of England, President Obama of the United, President Holland of France now speaking of the greatness of Nelson Mandela in unbelievable but Western history has always had a way of distorting facts.

To the memory of Nelson Mandela and to the honour of Fidel Castro we of the Peoples Empowerment Party and the Clement Payne Movement of Barbados salute you.

It is hoped that the spirit and decency of Nelson Mandela will circulate around the world and help more people become like him. Go I Peace as you did in War.

  1. Cubans fought in Angola ergo they helped end apartheid; Cuban Doctors are all over the world so that makes Castro a Saint (if you educate all those Doctors what are you going to do with them?) and then there is this claim Castro was the only voice in the region that spoke out against apartheid which is bogus; one remembers Forbes Burnham banning English cricketers who toured South Africa and inflicting the same on Caribbean cricketers who toured Southern Africa.

However there is this “ And Castro himself did not want to go to Angola in the first place, as a manifestation of the rank racism in Cuba itself, an Iberian typology of racism that Castro never recognized and still does not”. To which I say “Amen”, white Cubans have the same perception of their black fellow citizens as their white counterparts 90 miles away. i.e. That black Cubans are more likely to be potential lawbreakers and societally inferior, blacks in Cuba are known for the Arts or Sports has any one here seen a black person occupying an important political position in Cuba?

BTW the non white population of Cuba is 34%

  2. @Jeff

Have been researching if there were public utterances on the issue of repatriation without success. What does it mean for his legacy? What does it mean for the credibility of the repatriation lobby?

“…and then there is this claim Castro was the only voice in the region that spoke out against apartheid which is bogus…”

And you forgot to add: ” and gave tangible support to the struggle”.
Do you think banning cricketers and any effect on the White regime in S A? Do you think the Botha regime gave a hill of beans about some West Indian black dude banning a few men in white?
Why didn’t other Black governments in Caribbean send some of their soldiers to join the black Cuban soldiers in the struggle? At least some materiel support would have had more meaningful impact than just a lot air gassing off at the UN.

  4. @Miller

Better yet why didn’t the US, Canada, UK and others lend tangible suport.

  5. @ Sargeant
…did Bushie not tell you that there are some issues that are above your rank and pay grade…?
    …ask Colonel buggy….!
    Yours is not to reason
Yours is but to do and die…

Do you think banning cricketers and any effect on the White regime in S A? Do you think the Botha regime gave a hill of beans about some West Indian black dude banning a few men in white?
    ************
Pressure came from many areas but if you think that banning Sportsmen who toured SA didn’t have any effect then you don’t know what part Sports played in the Afrikaaner’s psyche. The tiny trickle became a flood which swamped South Africa and helped to contribute to the dismantling of the apartheid system

    @Bush Tea
How are you today Rip van Bushie? Welcome to the 21st century, you may have been the smartest man in your time but the world has changed.

Pssssst here is a secret …… women have the vote

  7. @David
Your claims that Cuba is so successful in various spheres relative to the Cbean neglects to mention that Cuba is largest island by far, both geographically and in population.

So assuming you are correct about all of this WHY CANT they FEED the populace???
Answer: The masses dont matter because the Dictator CONTROLS them and who is going to change that? It is part of Castro’s wonderful image and Legacy that he accomplished so much externally for the causes?
(BTW I am arguing he did not help, just that his MOTIVATION was SELF-AGGRANDISEMENT!

  8. TO ALL
I thought this was about Tribute to Madiba? Unna forget about the Great One so quick?
    Cor blama!

  9. I too thought this was about the great black leader Madiba……..This is my first comment on Castro and i believe him to be in a class by himself….he had many fires to put out while trying to maintain order on an island that successive US governments were/are hellbent and intent on acquiring for various reasons, i don’t agree with some of his ideology but……….the point is, bajans and by extension other Cariibbean people (descendants of slaves) will always through ignorance prefer to align themselves with Britain, call it the stockholm syndrome or some other piteous excuse, but there you have it,.

  10. @ Money Brain

There are 108 comments here which, while congealing around the great Mandela, have sought through varied means to do credit to his legacy and/or impact.

I hope that I by this comment of yours one cannot presume what colour you are and that “the niggers have strayed from a little to far from the confined of their outhouse” and need to be brought back to where a certain ilk feels comfortable.

Soon one can expect the David Duke clan members to join in and castigate the Apartheid Secret Service for not having assassinated Nelson Mandela like they did Steve Biko. Which side will you take then, I wonder?

Who died and made your type king of blog tangent of thought?

  11. “Why didn’t other Black governments in Caribbean send some of their soldiers to join the black Cuban soldiers in the struggle? ”

Thank you Miller for pointing out this. We like to pay lip service and when time for action no one wants to volunteer. Castro should hold his head high and so should the people of SA. There is no other leader in this world that is deserving the highest honour other then Castro for his fight against apartheid in SA. Caribbean leaders lack BALLS all they are capable of is just alotta BULLSHIT! Look at what is happening in the Dominican Republic? Another human tragedy happening and the world looks on by the sidelines.

  12. @Pieceaduh ROCK HEADED
Only SIMPLETONS want to so easily classify someone into a convenient lil pigeonhole based on RACE! Regrettably for YOU life is far more complex than that.

What ILK are you talking about? Are you only capable of group think?
I clearly stated my respect for this great man early on or is that impossible for someone of my ILK?

If you had enough BRAIN Power you would have observed that several black members on here have chosen to do their best to DILUTE Madiba’s legacy. You would be better off attacking them. Further it is interesting that a blog regarding Rihanna garnered far swifter and 3 TIMES the responses!

You should have made these points instead of BUTTING your vacuous racist head in an area of GRANITE resolve.

People of my ability dont have to stand idly by, like some, and wait for anyone to die in order to make a cogent point.

  13. An interesting point has been made and can be seen throughout this blog that a number of older Bajans are holding onto race?/class as the fault for everything.

  14. @Vincent

Is it race class or distrust?

Did you read about the Mayor in a US City who refused to fly the flag at half staff?

Black people continue to be disrespected BUT we have made progress.

  15. @David
That Mayor claims it is because Madiba is not a US citizen and therefore is ineligible. While that maybe technically correct why cant an exception be made? Did any US Mayors object when Churchill passed?

  16. @MB

This is the point, it is why there is so much distrust by Blacks directed at the system. That anyone would go against a request to show deference to Mandela in death still speaks volumes. Are we there yet?

  17. taking a look at the caption photos, in one there are two photos identifying two men. one which can be categorize as a Villain (Castro) and the other Mandella a hero . however the article tries to portray both as heroes ,however history has already been written on both these men , giving credit where credit is due, Mandella story did not need to be interrupted with the appearance of Fidel Castro which for all intent and purpose was solely an attempt to redefine his character by joining him to a man of impeccable character MAndella The article content is misleading which forces the reader from focusing on the man of the hour Mandella while creating and generating more interest and response to the CUBAN dictator. the article is a pharce.

  18. Ac, you have to admit though, that without Castro’s help Mandela might not have standing beside Fidel Castro? Castro deployed a lot of his military might in the fight against European economic colonialism in Africa. Mendela, even when as far as saying to Castro, “That he could not have done it without Castro’s help.”

  19. @ David [BU]

Money Brain wags a stick re what he sees as the focus of this blog and we like obedient dogs wag our tails to do his bidding.

Just as a few of us are quick to give respect to the man, equally so a few have been quick to point out that he was not alone and an unstinting champion for other blacks to follow.

Did someone give Money Brains a script and the sole authorship of what we must all follow when we write or can we comment on the fact that EWB allowed Cuban planes to land here, or Joe Slovo and his wife Ruth were part of the ongoing struggle.

If we were all to parrot what he and other demi-gods were to command us to say, do or write then we would all be created in the image and likeness of the MB.

The fact is that Mandela, like Jesus, has had critics some of whom claimed that he abdicated when it came to negotiating an end to apartheid with white South Africans and left the black majority in poverty, outside the ring of enfranchisement, abandoned in the doldrums of the SA economy.

Dissent is healthy when, in spite of variances of opinion, someone can put up a counter to your position or what would happen, so as to ensure that we stick on topic, the blogmaster can delete non congruent material from the blog.

David [BU] there are more David Dukes that are their Slovos in this world and yes, if some of us slip into the profiling mode it is because like Pavlov’s dog we are adopting the norm rather than the exception.

MB issued the edict of deference to Madiba Mandela on this blog and all must boy their heads and give “Selahs” to Money Brain.

Next it shall be that MB comments in concert with AC in support of Fumble and anyone who counters that kingly conscript shall be forthwith put to death.

    @ MB

Churchill was white and Americans, certainly the power bearers of that day would, as descendants of British criminals exiled to the New World, have found a common genetic bond to accord Churchill, one of their own, that half mast civility, notwithstanding 1776.

Rick Clark of South Carolina not only does not think that Mandela was a noted citizen of this world, he also like many of his compatriots is showing his disrespect for Obama.

Note that I say Obama as do many of the Americans when referring to this black President. Even if they disagreed with George W Bush not one of them EVER CALLED the Great White Bull, Bush.

I tell it like it is, racism is alive and well @ Dec 8th 2013 and we will do well not to forget that it still lives.

While there is a role for the Ghandis and the older Mandela of this world, there is a role for the young Mandelas too.

  20. @Pieceuhderock

Don’t worry, make your point and onlookers will form positions.

  21. @David
Did you read about the Mayor in a US City who refused to fly the flag at half staff?
    *************
This is nothing new but I haven’t heard of a Mayor I heard of a Sheriff who is probably being toasted by the White pride movement as we speak. A few years ago the then Gov. of Arizona Evan Meacham cancelled the MLK holiday but he was such a bozo that the citizens of the State impeached him for the issues and he was removed from office.

  22. @Piece
I am shocked that you would state that “dissent is healthy” I just made an observation that Castro/ Cuba was not the focus and you went on a rant. Why? I never said that you or anyone else MUST OBEY or else the Gestapo or KKK would pay you a visit.

Piece you just want to rough me up because I am White and obviously you did not expect that i could take care of myself.Skippa i guarantee you that I have spent more of my days on this Earth around people of other races (my wife isnt white, my Cricket Team was Black/ Indian etc. etc) than most of you on this blog.

  23. Maybe just maybe-cue the conspiracy theorists the Afrikaaners achieved their objectives when they commuted Mandela’s sentence to life in prison. Perhaps they realized that they couldn’t keep the system afloat indefinitely without the use of massive human capital (read white) and without barb wire fortresses.

Then after 27 years when they have extinguished his fire let him loose on the country where he is so malleable that he allows them to keep their fortunes while they retreat to their gated estates to enjoy fine weather, food and wine and let him worry about Buthelezi and the Blacks clamoring over each other for a bit of the “good life”.

  24. Castro didn’t care about apartheid one way or the other. And he didn’t send Cubans into Angola or anywhere else in Africa to help put an end to it. Castro was Russia’s cats-paw. He sent Cubans to Africa to spread communism with the full support — in terms of finance and armaments — of Russia. Do you folks really believe Cuba’s economy could have supported these campaigns?

Russia wanted to destabilise vulnerable African countries by exploiting tribal differences. Pick a side and give them all AK 47s. The winners will be so grateful to Russia that they will grant her mineral rights that were being enjoyed by Western companies and scare the bejesus out of the US. Simply put, most of Africa was ripe for revolution and that was pretty well what the Russians and Castro excelled at.

  25. Despite the fact Mandela is regarded as an Icon if we are to judge by the minor change in media programming in Barbados…

  26. No White Government did anything for Black Rights in Apartheid South Africa or Rhodesia, Black Men Woman and Children had to fight for their rights against ignorant racist white pigs and many died fighting

This is the State of Africa
    Whatever Black may die..
    Yes, that’s what I’m asking..
Yes, that’s what I want to know

  27. Mandela and the Papacy

Nelson Mandela and the Duke of Gloucester, at the Knights and Dames Investiture on November 23, 2004, at St James’s Palace, when the Duke invested Mr. Mandela as a Bailiff Grand Cross of the Order of St. John.

The Maltese cross is a common feature of the Pope’s garments, reminding us that he is the head of these Orders.

A Protestant branch of the Knights of Malta is the Order of St. John of Jerusalem. Queen Elizabeth II is the Sovereign Head of the Order of St. John, iii as we can see from her costume in the photograph.

The Queen’s participation in this Order, which brings with it required obedience to the Pope, is an example of how King John’s ancient concession of the crown to the Papacy is still in effect today.

The Roman Catholic Church uses military-like orders or societies to carry out their aims and protect the Church. Using these societies as a secret army to do the Church’s bidding protects it from scrutiny and bad press. For example, in the Middle Ages, the Knights Templar was an order that fought in the crusades on behalf of the Papacy. Templar Knights were given the ability to ignore many laws, taxes, and authorities, but had to obey the Pope.

Note: Elizabeth is the Sovereign Head of the Order of St. John, a Protestant arm of the Knights of Malta.

  28. The Order of St. John is a “Protestant arm” of the Knights of Malta. Both are controlled by the Vatican.

Nelson Mandela was an official member of the Vatican’s Order of St. John

What is the Order of St. John?

“The Order of St. John [Ed. Note: which later became the Knights of Malta] was founded before the taking of Jerusalem in 1099 by the armies of the First Crusade [Ed. Note: by Roman Catholic Crusaders, and in accordance with the proclamation calling for ‘Holy Crusade’ by Pope Urban II]. It began as a monastic community dedicated to St. John the Baptist, which administered a hospice-infirmary for pilgrims to the Holy Land. Originally connected with the Benedictines, it became, under Blessed Gerard (1120), an independent organization. By the [papal] Bull of 15 February 1113, addressed to Gerard, Pope Pascal II approved the confraternity of the Hospital of St. John, placed it under the protection of the Holy See, and ensured its right of freely electing its heads…without any interference from other ecclesiastical or any lay authority. In virtue of this [papal] Bull and of subsequent Papal acts, the Hospital became an exempt Order of the [Roman Catholic] Church.

VATICAN CITY (AP) — The Knights of Malta, one of the most peculiar organizations in the world, marked its 900th birthday Saturday with a colorful procession through St. Peter’s Square, a Mass in the basilica and an audience with Pope Benedict XVI, himself a member of the onetime chivalrous order drawn from Europe’s nobility.

  29. Cornel West Warns Against Making Mandela Into a “Huggable Old Man with a Smile” – December 8, 2013

As journalists and pundits begin framing Nelson Mandela’s life and deciding how he will be remembered, many, if not most, have omitted Mandela’s willingness to employ whatever tools were available to free black South Africans from apartheid. In America’s Civil Rights struggle, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. embraced nonviolence as his tool of choice against racist segregationists. Nelson Mandela was not Dr. King.

“Nonviolence is a good policy when the conditions permit,” Mandela once said. And in the aftermath of Mandela’s death, various rewritings of Mandela’s life have caused Dr. Cornel West to warn against what he calls the “Santa Claus-ification” of the South African leader.

Appearing on CNN, Dr. West called Mandela a “spiritual giant, moral titan and political revolutionary,” but then went on to say that we are all witnessing the “Santa Claus-ification” of his legacy. “We turn the revolutionary into an old man — a huggable old man with toys and a bag, smile on his face, no threat to anybody, domesticated, tame. And no longer really full of the fire,” West explained to host Jake Tapper.

West went on to describe Mandela up until the time of his death as having “militant tenderness and subversive sweetness and radical gentleness, tied to refusing to be fearful or intimidated in the face of a vicious white supremacist apartheid regime.”

“I started to make a study of the art of war and revolution and, whilst abroad, underwent a course in military training. If there was to be guerrilla warfare, I wanted to be able to stand and fight with my people and to share the hazards of war with them,” said Mandela. It is this Mandela that the rewriters of history are attempting to ignore.

  30. @ Anon

This classic shall be one of my beacons until i depart this world You found this gem and I quote “we are all witnessing the “Santa Claus-ification” of (Mandela’) legacy”

    Cornel Ronald West, pricessless.

We must not forget lest others feel that they can do it again by the many other means that are now available, e.g. disproportionate incarceration with longer sentences for blacks, less qualified teachers at our schools, entrenched banking practices that discommode blacks, the digital divide, EOE practices that satisfy quotas but limit access to the higher positions etc how many of Kiffin Simpson’s directors are black, irrespective of the manager count, “thus far and no further”

The Cornels of this world don’t walk around preaching kill whitey, like David Duke does in his destroy non-whites during his now global anti-semitic campaigns. Duke recently was deported from Cologne!!

Among the things that the Cornels try to do is to “keep it real”, lest we should ever forget or falter at the inalienable wheel of self determination.

When the jews do their remembrances on the horrors of Auschwitz and other instances they are lauded but let one black man get up and mention the middle passage and the barrage that they face thereafter about this chapter of our history continues to puzzle me.

And yes, to all of the ilk that would say “thar he blow agin” on this sacrosanct platform devoted to Madiba’s memory, I can be assured that Cornel too will draw the ire of the Uncle Tom’s who prefer the Santa-Claus Mandela version and do not want to mention the Johannesburg Railway station bombing lest discerning minds seek to explore why the young Xhosa would have been disposed to such acts during our ongoing war

  31. So what the solution to the black problem? Would you suggest that BLACKS in the America’s move back to Africa? Of course not, because Africa has her share of problems as well right?

  32. The intelligence service, using an agent inside the African National Congress, provided South African security officials with precise information about Mr. Mandela’s activities that enabled the police to arrest him, said the account by the Cox News Service.

    http://www.nytimes.com/1990/06/10/world/cia-tie-reported-in-mandela-arrest.html

  33. @ANON

Let us go for the argument that Mandela was a Knight of Malta, break it out for the lay people.

  34. @ Security Man
You ought and must get your hands on a copy of Mandela’s book: “The Long Walk To Freedom”. (That is if you have any further interest in the personal affairs of this man’s life) Because all that you have described above is already written in Mandela’s book, and it is what I would described as common knowledge.

  35. @David (BU) “Let us go for the argument that Mandela was a Knight of Malta, break it out for the lay people.”

Are you asking for seed capital from the VATICAN ARCHIVES? LOL

After 900 years – what has evolves is a powerful VATICAN mandated & run organization (just like the JESUITS) who basically infiltrate every sector of society and they “RUN” governments, law firms, print/visual media, banking, NON-PROFITS, religious institutions- you name it, they are there in the vanguard calling the shots everywhere on this strife-torn planet!

But there is a more sinister side to the Knights of Malta –

FACTS that will be posted shortly…

  36. “The Knights of Malta are the militia of the Pope, and are sworn to total obedience by a blood oath which is taken extremely seriously and to the death. The Pope as the head of the Vatican is also the head of a foreign national power.” -”Encyclopedia of Freemasonry and Its Kindred Sciences” by Albert G. Mackey 33rd degree Mason, published by the Masonic History Company, Chicago, New York, & London, 1925: (Volume One, pp. 392-95).

“The painful saga of modern Arab-Muslim history evokes the battles fought in Crusades of the 11th century – when the Knights of Malta began their operations as a Christian militia whose mission it was to defend the land conquered by the Crusaders.

These memories return violently to mind with the discovery of links between the so-called security firms in Iraq such as Blackwater have historic links with the Order of Malta. You cannot exaggerate it. The Order of Malta is a hidden government or the most mysterious government in the world.” – Jordanian MP Jamal Muhammad Abidat, from an editorial in the United Arab Emirates daily Al-Bayan entitled “The Knights of Malta – More than a Conspiracy”. Abidat describes the role played by the Knights of Malta during the Crusades, and that the Order is playing a similar role in the Middle East today, citing the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Successor to Fascist Dictator Francisco Franco and Knight of Malta, King Juan Carlos, with Grand Master of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, Andrew Cardinal Bertie, 2000 Blackwater is more than just a “private army”, much more than just another capitalist war-profiteering business operation.

It is an army operating outside all laws, outside and above the US Constitution and yet is controlled by people within and outside our government whose allegiance is primarily to the foreign Vatican state. In other words, Blackwater is a religious army serving the Pope in Rome through the Order of Malta, which is itself considered under international law, as a sovereign entity with special diplomatic powers and privileges. Like Blackwater, the Order of Malta is “untouchable” because it is at the heart of the elite aristocracy.

The Knights of Malta is not merely a “charitable organization”. That’s just an elaborate front, as should become clear to you later. As the name Sovereign Military Order of Malta confirms, it is a military order based on the crusader Knights Hospitaller of Jerusalem and is interwoven with Freemasonry. Most people have never even heard of SMOM, much less that it is a part of Freemasonry. But that is the way the aristocratic elite like it.

One of the symbols of the military orders of the Vatican, the masonic double-headed eagle emblazoned with the Maltese cross, signifies omnipotent royal dominion over both East and West. The orb signifies temporal dominion over the globe of Earth, and the scepter signifies control over the spiritual and religious impulses of humanity.

This eagle symbol is used in the masonic rite of Memphis and Misraim, under which it reads, “Order Out of Chaos”, the Hegelian method of crisis creation. It is found on the seals of many European and Eurasian nation states including that of Russia, indicating direct Vatican control over those countries.

It symbolizes the desire of a predatory elite with virtually unlimited resources, to totally dominate the entire world under a New World Order global government system using secrecy, manipulation, coercion and terror with the ends justifying the means.

The two-headed eagle emblem of the Byzantine Empire (Roman Empire) on a Red Shield was adopted in 1743 by the infamous goldsmith Amschel Moses Bauer. He opened a coin shop in Frankfurt, Germany and hung above his door this Roman eagle on a red shield.

The shop became known as the “Red Shield firm”. The German word for ‘red shield’ is Rothschild. After this point, the Rothschilds became the bankers to kings and pontiffs alike, among the richest families in the world.

Ever since, they have financed both sides of every major war and revolution using the Hegelian Dialectic to engineer society toward their New World Order.

The Rothschilds and their agents, such as the Rockefellers, have been engineering America and its foreign policy almost since its inception. They and their Skull and Bones Wall Street partners staged and funded both sides in WWII, and out of that hellish nightmare was born their infant global government, the United Nations, and their tool of tyranny, the CIA.

The father of the CIA, “Wild Bill” Donovan, was a Knight of Malta. In order to be a director of the CIA you must be a crusading Knight of Malta and it doesn’t hurt if you are a member of Skull and Bones either.

In order to reach the highest levels in the Pentagon establishment, you must be an illuminated Freemason and/or a Knight of one order or another. Notable US military members of SMOM include top crusading generals such as Alexander Haig, William Westmoreland, and Charles A. Willoughby, an admitted Fascist.

Other notable members include: Allen Dulles, Augusto Pinochet, Avery Dulles, David Rockefeller, Edward Egan (Archbishop NY), Francis L. Kellogg, Frank C Carlucci, Franz von Papen (Hitler enabler), Fritz Thyssen (Hitler’s financier), George H.W Bush, Giscard d’Estaing, Heinrich Himmler (Nazi war criminal), Henry Luce, J. Edgar Hoover, Joseph Kennedy, Juan Carlos (King of Spain and Jerusalem), Kurt Waldheim (Nazi war criminal), Licio Gelli, NELSON MANDELA, Oliver North, Pat Buchanan, Phyllis Schlafly (Dame), Precott Bush, Jr., Reinhard Gehlen (Nazi war criminal), Rick Santorum, Ronald E. Reagan, Rupert Murdoch, Ted Kennedy, Thomas ‘Tip’ O’Neill, Tony Blair, William F. Buckley, Jr., William Randolph Hearst…

Such a list should make you sit up and pay attention, but it is only the tip of the iceberg unfortunately.

Then we come to another SMOM member, important to what is transpiring in Iraq. Educated at the Jesuit Georgetown University, former Pentagon Inspector General Joseph Edward Schmitz, Blackwater’s operations chief, is a member of both SMOM and Opus Dei.

Former Pentagon Inspector General Joseph Edward Schmitz quit in 2005 to work for Blackwater. He is a member of Opus Dei and Knights of Malta.

  37. The Knights of Malta in Iraq? Malta Star – Sep 29, 2007

An American investigative journalist compared the US firm Blackwater, the biggest security services provider in post war Iraq, to the Knights of Malta.

The company is currently in the midst of a controversy after some of its 20,000 personnel stationed in Iraq killed a number of civilians.

In his book, ‘Blackwater: The Rise of the World’s Most Powerful Mercenary Army’, Jeremy Scahill links the modern security firm to the Knights of Malta.

The writer argues that “Blackwater’s employees… share the same religious zeal of ancient crusaders”, the Egyptian weekly newspaper Al-Ahram reported.

All the top Nazis in our government are connected in some way to the Vatican, Jesuits and Knights of Malta and have been for decades, as were the Italian Fascists and German Nazis of WWII.

After all, what was their favorite symbol after the swastika? The Maltese Cross of course!

    Catholic Nazi Connections

These SMOM knights are behind most of the trouble in the world and they must be exposed as the criminals that they are. They are not nice people helping the poor, though they use good people in the lower ranks as useful idiots.

    They are behind:

    Drug-trafficking
    Assassinations
    Most wars
    Communism
    Fascism
    Feudalism
    Theocracy
    Nazism
    Zionism
    Globalization
    Crime-syndicates
    Major terrorist events
    New torture inquisition
    Total information surveillance
    Economic collapses
    Social demoralization,

And they seek to completely enslave the human species in a global Big Brother totalitarian regime as they kill off the majority of us in the process.

In fact, all of it has either come to pass or is in the process of being implemented.

We are on the brink of WORLD WAR 3 which has been entirely staged by these profoundly evil men. Therefore, we have no time left for pussyfooting around.

But don’t take my word for it, do you your own research, find out and expose them yourself before these dirty Blackwater mercenary thugs are allowed to patrol American streets and confiscate guns during the next staged disaster.

We can’t let this happen in America.

Many knights of the Order of St. John and some of the Maltese nobility were Freemasons. In 1756, the Grand Master of the Order was a Freemason named E. Pinto de Fonseca.

De Rohan, who was Grandmaster of the Order of St. John between 1775 and 1797, is reported also to have been a Freemason, and is said to have helped the spread of freemasonry in Malta… This lodge noted in its petition that the most important members of the Order of St. John ranked amongst its membership.

The lodge obtained an English warrant as the Lodge of St. John of Secrecy and Harmony.

  38. The Rite of Misraïm

Since 1738, one can find traces of this Rite filled with alchemical, occult and Egyptian references, with a structure of 90 degrees.

Joseph Balsamo, called Cagliostro, a key character of his time, known how to give it the impulse necessary for its development. Very close to the Grand Master of the Order of the Knights of Malta, Manual Pinto de Fonseca, Cagliostro founded the Rite of High Egyptian Masonry in 1784.

He received, between 1767 and 1775, from Sir Knight Luigi d’Aquino, the brother of the national Grand Master of Neapolitan Masonry, the Arcana Arcanorum, three very high hermetic degrees.

In 1788, he introduced them into the Rite of Misraïm and gave a patent to this Rite.

The picture that proves ‘torture flights’ are STILL landing in the UK (and Malta). The European Parliament report describes these as shell companies operating as subsidiaries of Blackwater USA, ‘an important contractor for the CIA and the US military’ which bases the planes in Malta.

Tracking technology shows that the plane was en route from Canada to Greenland two days before it was sighted at Mildenhall: the internet software does not extend beyond American airspace, but the expert explained that its route would be consistent with a refueling stop in the Arctic – it only has a range of about 2,000 miles – followed by a further refuel in East Anglia, before heading to Malta.

    Malta ‘is Blackwater’s operational base’

A European Parliament working document drawn up by Giovanni Claudio Fava has claimed, “Malta is the operational base of Blackwater, the organizer of private military militia which are increasingly taking on more and more roles which used to be undertaken by US forces in Iraq and elsewhere”.

In 2004, Cofer Black passed from CIA to the State Department and thence became Blackwater’s vice-president.

While still in the CIA, Black was in charge of the “special extraditions” organizing the secret transfer of prisoners from Iraq or Afghanistan to countries less rigid against the practice of torture, such as Poland, Romania, Egypt, and so on. These planes, which traveled between Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo and Afghanistan often made stopovers in many European countries such as the UK, Italy, France, Germany and Malta many times without the countries themselves being informed what was going on.

Now the Swiss procurator Dick Marty has sent documents regarding the “CIA’s flying prisons” to the European Parliament and names two Blackwater subsidiaries:

    Presidential Airways
    Aviation Worldwide Services
Blackwater’s Owner Has Spies for Hire
Ex-U.S. Intelligence Operatives Dot Firm’s Roster
    Cofer Black

First it became a brand name in security for its work in Iraq and Afghanistan. Now it’s taking on intelligence. The Prince Group, the holding company that owns Blackwater Worldwide, has been building an operation that will sniff out intelligence about natural disasters, business-friendly governments, overseas regulations and global political developments for clients in industry and government.

The operation, Total Intelligence Solutions, has assembled a roster of former spooks – high-ranking figures from agencies such as the CIA and defense intelligence – that mirrors the slate of former military officials who run Blackwater.

Its chairman is Cofer Black, the former head of counterterrorism at CIA known for his leading role in many of the agency’s more controversial programs, including the rendition and interrogation of al-Qaeda suspects and the detention of some of them in secret prisons overseas.

    Bush’s Shadow Army

Blackwater has repeatedly cited Rumsfeld’s statement that contractors are part of the “Total Force” as evidence that it is a legitimate part of the nation’s “warfighting capability and capacity.”

Invoking Rumsfeld’s designation, the company has in effect declared its forces above the law – entitled to the immunity from civilian lawsuits enjoyed by the military, but also not bound by the military’s court martial system.

While the initial inquiries into Blackwater have focused on the complex labyrinth of secretive subcontracts under which it operates in Iraq, a thorough investigation into the company reveals a frightening picture of a politically connected private army that has become the Bush Administration’s Praetorian Guard.

    Blackwater’s impunity

Neither Iraqi nor U.S. laws apply to its contractors, so a controversial shooting may go unpunished.

“They can get away with murder” has been the cry of critics of hiring private companies such as Blackwater to provide security for the U.S. military and diplomats in Iraq and other war zones.

Now it looks as though the critics may be right – and in the worst way.

    Knights of Malta

The Sovereign Military Order of Malta, also known as the original Sovereign Military Order of St. John of Jerusalem, is a closed fraternity of the Roman Catholic Church. Pope Benedict with SMOM Grandmaster Andrew Willoughby Ninian Bertie demand its initiated members must be Catholic and have served in the military. They participate in secret ceremonies and feudal ritual dress, and embrace a strong class/caste mentality as part of their initiation into Rosicrucian dogma.

The upper grades are fastidiously aristocratic and must be able to display a family coat-of-arms dating back at least 300 years in unbroken succession from father to son. The Sovereign Grand Master of the order is recognized as a head of state, and his authority is ensured by his secular ranking as a Prince, and his ecclesiastical ranking as a Cardinal.

Under international law this organization has independent Sovereign status, which assures nationalistic loyalty from its members, above and beyond allegiance to their own country – they also have Permanent Observer status at the United Nations. The current Grand Master, Andrew Willoughby Bertie, is descended from Mary Stuart (Mary Queen of Scots) which places him firmly in the Sion/Grail historical scenario.

The order and its members have been proven to be linked with the “Rat Run”, the post-WWII escape route used by high-ranking Nazis and death camp scientists from defeated Germany to the Americas.

Sovereign Knight of Malta passports were issued with false identities that allowed escape from prosecution for war crimes.

The privatization of security in Iraq threatened more than innocent civilians. The killing of 11 civilians in Baghdad once again put Blackwater on the spot. The US security firm first came into the public eye in early April 2004, when four of its personnel were killed and mutilated by mobs in Falluja. Although Iraqi religious parties denounced the attacks at the time, Bush gave the town four days to deliver the perpetrators before ordering an all-out attack, one in which thousands of Falluja inhabitants perished.

In his book, Blackwater – The Rise of the World’s Most Powerful Mercenary Army, American investigative journalist Jeremy Scahill links the modern security firm to the Knights of Malta, an offshoot of the Knights Templar.

Blackwater’s employees, he argues, share the same religious zeal of ancient crusaders.

US Theocons Fight Battle in Iraq

Many has been written about the privatization of the Iraq war, but in his new bestseller book Jeremy Scahill sheds much needed light on the ideological roots of the largest US private mercenary firm and its links to the theocons and the Christian militia Sovereign Military Order of Malta.

Prince, writes Scahill, shows how, “politically powerful Christian fundamentalists and Neocons are pressing forward with their battle for what they call ‘freedom’ and ‘democracy.’”

He has connections with conservative Catholic groups and funds right wing organizations through his Freiheit Foundation.

Senior Blackwater executives such as Joseph Schmitz do not only subscribe to the theocon ideology but are also members of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, a Christian militia that had a mission of defending territories the Crusaders captured from Muslims.

Schmitz, says Scahill, “comes from one of the most bizarre, scandal-plagued, right-wing political families in US history.”

The Sovereign Military Order of Malta began as a Christian charity in Al-Quds in 1080 to provide care for poor and sick pilgrims to the Holy Land. After the conquest of the holy city in 1095 during the First Crusade it became a Catholic Military Order. After the Muslims restored Al-Quds, the Order operated from Rhodes and later from Malta where it administered a vassal state under the Spanish viceroy of Sicily. The Order’s fighters, known as the Knights Hospitaller, helped the Crusaders in raids on Muslim countries near the coasts of Italy, including Tunisia, Libya and Morocco.

The Sovereign Military Order of Malta is now a state located in Rome and is recognized by 50 countries worldwide.

BLACKWATER CHIEF JOSEPH E. SCHMITZ – KNIGHT OF MALTA

Joseph Edward Schmitz is the son of the late John G. Schmitz, former California State Senator, Member of the U.S. House of Representatives, and U.S. Presidential candidate (1972).

Columba Bush’s sister is married to John P. Schmitz, a beneficiary of the fellowship programs subsumed under the Carl Duisberg gesellschaft and the brother of Joseph Schmitz, currently the head of the Blackwater security outfit.

John P. Schmitz has close links to the elder George Bush, the 9/11 milieu… Ex-Pentagon IG Joseph Schmitz At Prince/Blackwater
Joseph Schmitz is active in the Washington Lawyers’ Chapter of the right-wing Federalist Society, the same group with which the new Chief Justice John G. Roberts was affiliated.

Schmitz is also a member of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. Schmitz was accused of covering up several investigations into fraud, waste and abuse within the Rumsfeld Pentagon.

Joseph E. Schmitz: Georgetown, Opus Dei and Sovereign Military Order of Malta

Joseph Edward Schmitz is an American lawyer, former Inspector General of the Department of Defense and executive with Blackwater USA, a private contractor providing security services to the U.S. military.

Schmitz attended Catholic schools as a child and Georgetown Preparatory School while his father served in Congress. He is a member of Opus Dei and the Sovereign Military Order of Malta.

General Joseph Schmitz member of the Sovereign Order of Malta
In addition to Prince, “A number of Blackwater executives are deeply conservative Christians, including corruption-smeared former Pentagon Inspector General Joseph Schmitz, who is also a member of the Sovereign Order of Malta, which Scahill describes as ‘a Christian militia formed in the eleventh century [to defend] territories that the Crusaders had conquered from the Moslems,’” Chris Barsanti wrote in a review of the book for In These Times.

Blackwater USA is the brainchild of Erik Prince – a former Navy SEAL and son of Edgar Prince, a wealthy Michigan auto-parts supplier – described by Scahill as a “radical right wing Christian mega-millionaire” who is a strong financial backer of President George W. Bush, as well as a donor to a host of conservative Christian political causes.

In the 1980s “the Prince family merged with one of the most venerable conservative families in the United States,” when Erik’s sister Betsy – nine years his senior – married Dick DeVos, whose father Richard, founded the multilevel marketing firm AMWAY!

The two families exercised enormous political influence both inside and outside Michigan. “They were one of the greatest bankrollers of far-right causes in U.S. history, and with their money they propelled extremist Christian politicians and activists to positions of prominence,” Scahill writes.

    Crusades and terror

Enemy bodies were brutalized for plunder, not pleasure; cannibalism was caused by starvation, not hatred; and crusaders happily had consensual sex with Muslim women in all the towns they captured.

  39. Anon, I am not surprised the least regarding the allegations associated with Blackwater…. Because most of the guys who worked for the Blackwater company are Ex-Military: Green -Beret, Delta – Force, Navy – Seals, Marine – Recon, USAF -Pararescue and members of the Ranger Battalion. You’re talking about Non- Conventional highly motivated, elite Military killer. I know this, because I had the pLeasure of supporting some of these guys when I was attached to the 10th Mountain Light Infantry Division at Fort Drum.

  40. Anon, I must state for the record that I did not agree with alot of the things the Bush Administration did in prosecuting the wars in Iraq and Afsghanistan. Irrespective of the collateral damaged that was obviously expected! Nevertheless, there had been a common consensus among the majority of Americans that a strong response was needed in response to the 9/ 11 attackes on America.

  42. “I noticed over the weekend that lists of quotes from Nelson Mandela had gone viral on the Internet.”

“None of the lists I saw included any of these – which say more about the man and the myth than you could have learned by reading all the reports in the international establishment press.”

    1) “If there is a country that has committed unspeakable atrocities in the world, it is the United States of America. They don’t care for human beings.”

    2) “Long live the Cuban revolution. Long live comrade Fidel Castro … Cuban internationalists have done so much for African independence, freedom and justice. We admire the sacrifices of the Cuban people in maintaining their independence and sovereignty in the face of a vicious imperialist campaign designed to destroy the advances of the Cuban revolution. We too want to control our destiny. … There can be no surrender. It is a case of freedom or death. The Cuban revolution has been a source of inspiration to all freedom-loving people.”

    3) “[T]he people of Asia and Africa have seen through the slanderous campaign conducted by the USA against the socialist countries. They know that their independence is threatened not by any of the countries in the socialist camp but by the USA, who has surrounded their continent with military bases. The communist bogey is an American stunt to distract the attention of the people of Africa from the real issue facing them, namely, American imperialism.”

Experience more of Joseph Farah’s no-nonsense truth-telling in his books, audio and video products, featured in the WND Superstore

    4) “Under a Communist Party government, South Africa will become a land of milk and honey. Political, economic and social rights will cease to be enjoyed by whites only. They will be shared equally by whites and non-whites. There will be enough land and houses for all. There will be no unemployment, starvation and disease. Workers will earn decent wages; transport will be cheap and education free.”

    5) “Yasser Arafat was one of the outstanding freedom fighters of this generation, one who gave his entire life to the cause of the Palestinian people.”

    6) “The cause of communism is the greatest cause in the history of mankind!”

    7) “Those who feel irritated by our friendship with President Khadafy can go jump in the pool.”

    8) “There’s one place where (Fidel Castro’s) Cuba stands out head and shoulders above the rest – that is in its love for human rights and liberty!”

    9) “The victory of socialism in the U.S.S.R., in the People’s Republic of China, in Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Poland and Rumania, where the living conditions of the people were in many respects similar and even worse than ours, proves that we too can achieve this important goal.”

    10) “Communists everywhere fight to destroy capitalist society and to replace it with socialism, where the masses of the common people, irrespective of race or color, will live in complete equality, freedom and happiness. They seek to revolutionize society and are thus called revolutionaries. Those who support capitalism with its class divisions and other evils and who oppose our just struggles to end oppression are called counter revolutionaries.”

    11) “In our own country, the struggles of the oppressed people are guided by the South African Communist Party and inspired by its policies. The aim of the S.A.C.P. is to defeat the Nationalist government and to free the people of South Africa from the evils of racial discrimination and exploitation.”

By the way, I did find one quote from Mandela that I really like. I don’t think he meant it. I do. In fact, if he got his wish on this one, the international media’s reporting about Mandela’s death would have been much different.

“A critical, independent and investigative press is the lifeblood of any democracy. The press must be free from state interference. It must have the economic strength to stand up to the blandishments of government officials. It must have sufficient independence from vested interests to be bold and inquiring without fear or favor. It must enjoy the protection of the constitution, so that it can protect our rights as citizens.”

    Amen to that last one.

You know what they say: Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

  44. Castro’s Cuba has distinguished itself as one of the most MONSTROUS HUMAN-RIGHTS ABUSERS in the World.

It is a FACT that Half a million human beings have PASSED THROUGH Cuna’s GULAG. Since Cuna’s total population is only around eleven million, that gives Castro’s DESPOTISM the highest political INCARCERATION rate rate per capita on EARTH.

  45. Yassar Arafat was the GRAND-FATHER on modern day TERRORISM, a LIAR and deceiver in a class by himself.

  46. Mandela admired these TWO vicious LEFTIST! Was this Mandela’s core ideology?

  47. what vicious right wing attack on a man whose only vision was to have his people free by any means necessary. what is so wrong with that, mandella star shines brightly because he was able to forgive those who had done him and his people wrong. those who had called him a terrorist .. while his star continues to shine his haters words would continue to fall on deaf ears.
    ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
Many of these right-wing attacks are offensive and extremely disrespectful to the memory of a truly great man, but they should not be so quickly dismissed as just the rantings of angry right wingers. These comments about Mandela are also echoes of what many said about him when he was alive, particularly before he became president of a free South Africa.

If there is one person that comes the closest to the moral ideals”preached” by your god and Lord Jesus Christ it would have to be Madiba by far.
