President Barack Obama labelled The Anti-Christ
Does it really matter who wins the next US election? Or is the President just a useful tool to implement the plans of his controllers, i.e. corporate America, which are often contrary to the best interests of the masses. Former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury and former Wall Street Journal editor, Paul Craig Roberts, says the two party system in the USA is a farce.
The Dispossessed Majority
The bumper sticker on the beat-up pickup truck read: “Friends don’t let friends vote Democrat.”
The driver was obviously not affluent. Yet, despite all the news about mega-trillion dollar bankster bailouts, mega-million dollar bonuses for financial crooks, and unimaginable compensation packages for corporate CEOs who have moved middle class jobs out of America, something made the down-and-out pickup truck driver associate with the political party of the super-rich.
As I wondered at this strange alliance of the dirt poor with the mega-rich, I remembered that in 2004 Thomas Frank wondered about how the Republicans had managed to convince the poor to vote against their best interests. Frank’s answer, or part of his answer, is that the Republicans use “social issues,” such as gay marriage and Janet Jackson’s exposed nipple to work up indignation over the threat to moral values posed by liberal Democrats.

The non-affluent who rage about welfare, medicaid, Obamacare, and public schools can’t seem to put two and two together. The $750 billion TARP bankster bailout, a small part of the total and ongoing bailout, would have sufficed to cover any holes in these budgets for a long time.. Instead, the money went to reward those who caused the financial crisis and threw millions of Americans out of their homes. As far as I know, the pickup truck driver is one of the dispossessed.
The same brainwashed Americans who rage against Obamacare and are lined up to vote for Romney are oblivious to the fact that Romney, while governor of the eastern liberal Democratic state of Massachusetts, had his version of Obamacare enacted at the state level.
The greatest irony about Obamacare is that it was written by the private insurance companies and diverts Medicaid and Medicare funds to their profits. It is socialized medicine alright, but it is socialism for the private insurance companies.

As Gerald Celente wrote in the July issue of the Trends Journal, americans “argue among themselves why their freak is better than the other freak. They will get angry with you if you call their freak a freak. They will actually fight and die to defend their freaks.”
It is extraordinary that millions of americans actually believe fervently that it matters whether Romney freak or Obama freak gets elected. If americans had any sense, they would stay home and not vote. The 1% control the country, and the 99% had just as well own up to it and stay at home. Nothing is going to change because of the ballot box.

The country’s resources are diverted to the pockets of Wall Street, the military/security complex, and to the service of greater Israel. The oil, mining, timber, and agribusiness companies control the Environmental Protection Agency and the Forestry Service, which is why regulation only pertains to the small individual, while fracking, mountaintop removal mining, and pollution of air, water, and soil run wild.
The oligarchs have succeeded in making americans a dispossessed majority in their own country. In November americans will again give their approval to one of the oligarchy’s two candidates.

yip. In many different ways. Makes you wonder if like the economic situation this has now become the norm.
The big talk in the USA today is that the Republicans never intended for Obama to success hence the vehemence with which they oppose his policies.
I think that the democratic foreign policy, while not being on ‘our side’ financially re the Caribbean, is less dangerous to world stability than the republican foreign policy, which has always been aggravatory and strongly biased to the ‘oligarchy wishes’.
That said, I think the biggest concern, moreso than which party wins, is the availability of scarce resources, beginning with food, over the next ten years and continuing.
We MUST become food self reliant. The drought in the US and other natural flood disasters worldwide, demonstrates the need to be less dependent on international food sources, particularly US, if only because of the hige inflationary pressure, but also other reasons.
Scarce Resources….the two big words for the next ten years.
As for the oligarchy of the wealthy, that manipulates world affairs, that is more true, than not. Be wary.

To me…until the parties begin to do what is right for the people and not for themselves…no it does not! Sad enough.
As a black person, i would have supported Mr Obama’s effort to become President of the USA and would have applauded his effort and similarly i hope he gets another term even against the background that the policies of the Democratic party are inward looking and harm the efforts of small island states like Barbados to implement policies to aid their development. The recent position of the Obama Administration vis avis access to loans from IADB by Barbados and some others is not therfore surprising given the belligerent position taken by the Clinton administration in penalising countries benefitiing from Off-shore business and and their unrelenting support for South American Chiquita banana company to the detriment of the Windward Islands Banana Association.

Let me first posit that the USA is not a country like for example Great Britain, or France or Germany or Russia or Greece but a conglomeration of immigrants from other countries who displaced the indigenous natives from their birth place and developed the land into what it is today by wheeling and dealing . In other words corruption upon which countries like ours thrive when the crumbs fall from the tables of corruption.. Hence, despicable agencies like the Stock Market and the Mafia has thrived with gay abandon. I once told an influential friend some years ago that the whole world was a hoax and mere mortals like us were only playing a part whether it be as a terrorist, a communist, a capitalist, a boy scout , a buller, a priest, a samaritan, a teacher, a Prime Minister of a banana republic as countries like ours are viewed on the world stage, a Governor- general and the list goes on. In the play, we are allowed the liberty of lulling ourselves into a false sense of believing that what we do matters. The President of the USA does not even has as much power as Mr Stuart. Other than the crumbs countries like ours have little to gain irrespective of who is President of the USA.

Foreign policy, at a time of scarce resources, becomes VERY important, if not to the voters, to those who rule the coffers.
Hence, the last twenty years work in the Middle East and the ‘urgent need’ to rid the Middle East of the two most (that may be questionable however) ‘independent and volatile’ leaders i.e. Hussain and Gaddafi, who both controlled a huge portion of oil reserves.
Brazil has ‘become’ ultra important to this group as well, now that it has identified a huge reserve of oil.
IF we in Barbados discover, for example, a large field off the ast Coast, then we will become suddenly very close…albeit we also become controlled directly.
As for Afghanistan, was that about attending to the moral issue of getting those responsible for the bombing i.e. Bin Laden, or more about ensuring much was spent on weapons, rations etc, so some could profit, as per Iraq.
As one gets older one gets quite cynical. We see greed in governments, businesses even, contrary to the hope we have as children growing up, families i.e. those who have or have been given much, want more and more and more.
As Rosemary says, they must have a way of taking it with them when they translate to the next level, seem not to have the same understanding of this mortality, that we do. So I say, ……let them ga long.

I hope that you’ll look beyond Barack Obama and see the bigger picture. The powers that be were happy to trash out the name of George W. Bush; but Bush was just a poster-boy for a criminal syndicate which has taken over the United States.
Obama was placed into office with a plethora of newsmedia hype, praise and worship; but the first year of the Obama Presidency has accomplished more evil than all the 8 years George W. Bush spent in office. Already, Obama has increased the national debt more than any other U.S. President in American history. Something is very wrong with that. It’s all a big deception. The corporate-controlled newsmedia has led the masses in praise of a politician who is selling us out.
I am a CITIZEN of the United States. As such, I love my country. I do not hate anyone; but I hate evil as God commands all believers to do (Psalm 97:10; Ephesians 5:11). There is not a more vile evil in America today than the Socialist policies Barack Hussein Obama will implement over the next few years in America.
Respectfully, Obama has lied repeatedly to America and works for the New World Order elite, who hate America. They hate the God of the Bible, Christianity, patriots and the traditional family. Obama promised not to raise taxes; but he did. Obama promised not to propose any laws without first notifying the American public; but he has been secretive about many news laws. Obama broke his campaign pledge not to hire Wall Street insiders; but he has. Obama promised to bring the troops home; but he has sent more. Just like many politicians, Obama promised the rainbow; but delivered something very different. Obama promised change for the positive; but we are experiencing change for the worse.
Some have questioned whether Obama is a Communist or not? I can tell you by definition of the word “Communism” that HE IS. One of the definitions of the noun Communism is “a socialist who advocates Communism.” Obama is an Anti-American, God-hating Communist wrapped in a smile. Obama was not elected; he was chosen and placed into office. I am not saying that Barack Obama is the Antichrist, but it is a Biblical teaching that high political positions will be given by Satan in the End Times… Revelation 13:2b, “and the dragon [Satan] gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.” The Antichrist will have great authority. It is very interesting that President Obama is the FIRST U.S. President to ever be made chairman of the United Nations Security Council (a violation of the U.S. Constitution). CNN reported that Obama has been called “The President of the world.” Certainly, the overwhelming international public support of Barack Obama is arguably a form of worship.

You are sadly mistaken if you think that mr Obama could have become President if he were not part of the statu quo. The keen observers would recognise how quickly Mr Obama jettisoned the initial agenda which captured the imagination of the marginalised and those disgruntled with the statu quo.

balance, in your list above you forgot to list the US Republican Party. Isn’t Romney, the Republican presidential candidate, a Mormon? Does Jesus save Mormons, followers of the false prophet Joseph Smith, practitioners of Masonic inspired temple ceremonies and holders of heretical beliefs – e.g. the belief that you cannot correctly interpret the Bible without the later teaching and revelations of the Joseph Smith provided Book of Mormon and, another example, the teaching that when they die on earth, faithful Mormon men will become gods and rule over other planets in other solar systems or universes where they will also marry multiple wives in celestial marriages?

Marc Faber, the famous investor and strategist, says that neither candidate in the upcoming U.S. Presidential election is worth voting for, at least if the goal is fixing the economy.
In fact, says Faber, the Thailand-based author of the Gloom, Boom & Doom Report, if you put a gun to his head and told him to pick a candidate to vote for, he’d say, “shoot.”
Why is Faber so negative on the two candidates?
Because he thinks neither Barack Obama nor Mitt Romney will have the balls to do what it takes to get the economy back on track, which, in his opinion, is significantly cut government spending AND modestly raise taxes. Rather, he thinks, both candidates will just focus on remaining popular.
Given that America will almost certainly choose one of these two candidates to be its next President, what is Faber’s outlook for the U.S. economy?

Faber’s outlook for the rest of the world, meanwhile, is even less encouraging. Europe is already in a recession, he says, and Asia’s growth has peaked and is starting to decline.
Interestingly, Faber is not running away from stocks as a result of this dour view. Rather, he is starting to buy some stocks in Europe, because the valuations have gotten so slammed that he now finds the risk/reward profile attractive. And, with almost every government on earth trying to print its way out from under its huge debt load, Faber still remains a big fan of gold.

DAVID ROSENBERG: The Last Two Times Export Orders Collapsed Like This, We Were In A Recession

Exports appear to be collapsing around the world. Data out of Germany this morning showed exports falling 1.9 percent, and South Korea, the canary in the coal mine has seen exports crumble.
Now, Gluskin Sheff’s David Rosenberg writes that soon we’ll find “that the U.S. prints a negative-GDP reading on the back of a negative export shock that does not appear to be in any forecast”.
He writes that 70 percent of real GDP growth since the “recovery” began three years ago has come from export volumes and inventory investment.
Then the declining pattern of ISM export orders – which declined from 59.0 in April, to 53.5 in May, 47.5 in June, and 46.5 in July – is naturally worrisome.
In fact, Rosenberg points out that there is an 81 percent correlation between annual growth in U.S. exports and ISM new orders, and that this level of new export orders coincided with the last two recessions as can be seen in the chart below:
Rosenberg writes that with exports declining, slowing spending by corporations, which should impact the housing recovery, and slowing consumer spending the U.S. could see zero percent growth as early as the fourth quarter.

Been to Cuba 4 times in locations spread far and wide, talked to locals on the beach, far away from hotels and I assure you that they are NOT happy, fulfilled etc. Workers of all types make $20/ mth and you receive coupons for meat, fish etc which are always in short supply. Bajans are FAR BETTER OFF! Detailed comparison would be totally unnecessary/ useless!

What are Romney’s issues? The candidate says that his first act will be to repeal Obamacare, a program that Romney himself first enacted as governor of Massachusetts. This will cost Romney political contributions from the insurance industry, which is thankful for the 50 million new private insurance policies that Obamacare, written not by Obama but by the private insurance companies, provides at public expense. It is not to the insurance industry’s benefit to have a single payer system like other western countries.
Romney’s other issue is to blame Obama for America’s unemployment caused by the offshoring of the US economy by Republican corporate CEOs. In order to enhance their compensation packages, the Republican CEOs sent millions of America’s best jobs to India, China and elsewhere. The lower cost of labor in these offshore sites means much higher earnings, which drives up share prices for shareholders and drives up performance bonuses for management, while wrecking US employment, GDP growth and tax base and driving up the deficit in the balance of payments.
America’s main economic problem–the relocation of the US economy offshore–is not a campaign issue. Therefore, the US economy’s main problem will remain unaddressed.
The real issues can nowhere be found in the campaigns or in the media. There is no mention of the Bush/Obama destruction of the US Constitution and its legal protections of citizens from arbitrary government power. Due process no longer exists for anyone who the executive branch suspects of being connected in any way to Washington’s chosen enemies. US citizens can be thrown into dungeons for life on suspicion alone without any evidence ever being presented to a court, and they can be executed any place on earth, along with whoever happens to be with them at the time, on suspicion alone.

US Attorneys Refuse to Assure Judge That They Are Not Already Detaining Citizens Under NDAA
In the March hearing, the US lawyers had confirmed that yes, the NDAA does give the President the power to lock up people like journalist Chris Hedges and peaceful activists like myself and other plaintiffs. Government attorneys have stated on record that even war correspondents could be locked up indefinitely under the NDAA. Judge Katherine Forrest had ruled for a temporary injunction against an unconstitutional provision in this law – after government attorneys refused to provide assurances to the court that plaintiffs and others would not be indefinitely detained for engaging in first amendment activities. Twice the government has refused to define what it means to be an “associated force”, and it claimed the right to refrain from offering any clear definition of this term, or clear boundaries of power under this law. This past week’s hearing was even more terrifying: incredibly, in this hearing, Obama’s attorneys refused to assure the court, when questioned, that the NDAA’s provision – one that permits reporters and others who have not committed crimes to be detained without trial — has not been applied by the US government anywhere in the world — AFTER Judge Forrest’s injunction. In other words, they were saying to a US judge that they could not or would not state whether Obama’s government had complied with the legal injunction that she had lain down before them.
To this, Judge Forrest responded that if the provision has indeed been applied, the United States government itself will be in contempt of court. Government attorneys also, in this hearing, again presented no evidence to support their position — and brought forth no witnesses.
I have mixed feelings about suing my government, and in particular, my president, over the National Defense Authorization Act. I voted for Obama. I even had an Obama dance; and I could not stop crying for joy and pride the night he was elected. I defended him for over two years.
But no longer. The US public often ignores his actual failings, and more importantly, entirely ignores how, when it comes to the “war on terror”, the US government as a whole has been deceitful, reckless, even murderous. We lost nearly 3000 people on 9/11. Then we allowed the Bush administration to lie and force us into war with a country that had nothing to do with that terrible day: we killed between several hundred thousand and one million Iraqi citizens, caused vast harm to our own soldiers and gutted this nation’s treasury for a war that never should have happened. Given these crimes, it is no wonder that Bush, Obama, and the US Congress appear now to be far more interested in enacting misguided, “boogieman in every corner” “war on terror” policies that distract citizens from investigating the truth about what we’ve done, and what we’ve become, since 9/11.
I, like many in this fight, am now afraid of my government. We have good reason to be. Due to the NDAA, Chris Hedges, Kai Wargalla, the other plaintiffs and I are squarely in the crosshairs of a “war on terror” that has been an excuse to undermine liberties, trample the US Constitution, destroy mechanisms of accountability and transparency, and cause irreparable harm to millions.

Any doubt Americans may have had that Barack Obama is a Marxist should be alleviated now after hearing his rhetoric in a speech in Virginia over the weekend, top talk-radio host Michael Savage told his listeners last night.
Asserting that it is governments and not individuals who create jobs, Obama told entrepreneurs Friday: “If you’ve got a business – you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”
“You didn’t get there on your own,” the president said. “I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart.”
After playing the audio of Obama’s remarks, Savage offered a blunt assessment.
“So there’s communism,” he said. “That’s Karl Marx Obama. That’s Hugo Chavez Obama. That’s Joseph Stalin Obama. This is a very dangerous man.”
Savage, noting he has studied dictatorships, recalled that tyrannical regimes “begin with innocent remarks like this.”
“This man is the most dangerous, most divisive, most evil – I’ll use the word evil – president in the history of America.”
Savage acknowledged he was “stepping up” his own rhetoric, because the situation requires it, and no one else will.
“Things don’t start the way they end,” he warned, drawing lessons from history. “They start with the most innocent remarks like this.”
The elected Nazi dictator, Adolf Hitler, whose rhetoric originated with 19th century French anti-Semites, did not start with death camps but with relatively benign racial purity laws, and no one stopped him, Savage pointed out.
“The rhetoric Obama is expressing is not his own rhetoric,” Savage said. ‘This is what is deeply embedded in the man’s brain stem. He has been inculcated with hatred for the American way from the cradle.”
The Cambodian dictator Pol Pot, Savage recalled, “was a mild mannered professor like Obama” who went to Paris, studied Marxism “and came back a flaming communist.”
“It ended with a mountain of skulls,” Savage said, with some 2 million people slaughtered in Cambodia’s infamous “killing fields.”
Pol Pot, instituting what he was taught at Paris universities, unleashed his Khmer Rouge on anyone with an education – the productive people of society.
“What does this have to do with that nice man in the White House with such a nice wife and nice children?” Savage asked his “Savage Nation” audience.
“It starts with rhetoric like this,” he said. “It unleashes the genie in the bottle. It justifies any acts of betrayal, any acts of hatred, any acts of sabotage against the successful.”
He called Obama “the most hateful man who has ever plagued the White House.”
“Everything is at stake in November,” he said.
“Unfortunately, on the other side,” Savage added, referring to presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, “we have Mr. Peepers, Mr. Milquetoast, Mr. Checked Pants, Mr. Country Club, Mr. Nice Guy.
“I’ll remind you of something else,” Savage said. “Nice guys don’t finish last, Mr. Romney. They don’t finish at all.”
As WND reported last week, the new Talk Stream Live “Power 50,” which ranks the top talk-radio shows streaming on the Web, has Savage in the No. 2 spot.
Talk Stream Live says it sampled more than 1.2 million listeners during the first six months of the year to produce “The Power 50 Report” – the 50 most influential talk show hosts on the Internet and on mobile devices.
“We are proud to report that Rush Limbaugh is No. 1 and Michael Savage is No. 2,” said TSL. “These are the most listened to talk show hosts in the world.”

Vey much in agreement but may i respectfully add that these problems are not unique to Barbados and like moneybrain, i firmly know not believe that Barbadians are much better off than Cubans. and yes, Mr Miller, Barbados might be tired and rude but far superior to Cuba in relation to sanitation service. When i engage visitors from North America during my visits to Cuba asto their reasons for visiting , the usual responses are that they visit Cuba beause the cost of services is cheap and i would add the women are not only beautiful but responsive and friendly.

Not so long ago in Barbados, we could vote or transact business without photo id ; is that still the case? ponder on that .
Now because of my inherent racism iwould obviously wish for Obama to win back the presidency but the evidence is there to suggest or indicate that Democratic policies are more harmful to developing small countries like Barbados so there is a limit to my emotion.Americans in general both Democratic OR Republican Black or white care little about us bevause thay all view us as banana republics so i only get into the Democratic/ Republican political thing for balance not for sentiment.

Mr Sargeant , i never disputed your information that state legislatures or governorships under the control of republicans are seeking to introduce photo i.d to facilitate polling which is considered as a means to prevent a certain segment of the population from voting since it was not neceesary before. true, as some believe the change could predicated by an ulterior motive, on the other hand, it might not be but that aside, all i asked is if we in Barbados could presently vote or transact business without a photo i.d. Matter of fact, here, some businesses/ organisations even illegally photo copy your passport photo page and your national registration i.d.

and Mr Sargeant I have never lived in the USA and i have no intentions of livingthere so while i take a keen interest in what goes on in the world, i avoid partisan involvement in American politics but what i recognise is that Democratic policies are always harmful to small caribbean developing states perhaps because they satisfy the interest of those who vote for the Democrats and i would not have named the complex in St Joseph after Eric Holder but after Mr Lloyd Smith, the veteran and outstanding representative for the parish of St Joseph IN the House Of Assembly for a number of years.
