Not since the days of the Gladston Holder columns in the Barbados media have Barbadians been kept abreast of the occurrences which involve the Council for Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission or even the Bilderberg family influence on world politics. Barbadians, including the media appear to be very comfortable ferreting world news from CNN and the BBC.

BU like millions around the world have been enthralled by the new entrant to the White House. President Barack Obama is without question a departure from the old guard. Some say any perceive change should only be taken as token. Many of the appointments in the Obama government represent prominent individuals who have worked in Washington in the recent past and are regarded as part of the status quo. For example, there is the influential position of Secretary of the Treasury Tim Geithner, the former head of the Federal Reserve of New York. How can Geithner be responsible for changing Wall Street when he is a product of the system?

The video above is one hour and 53 minutes long and paints an intriguing picture of Obama and the shadow government which runs the US government. While BU is inclined to ask questions we are not sure we fully buy in to the positions expressed in the video.

    The only demon in me is me. You made the demons so they must be in you and for you to be walking around spouting what you know nothing about and what was concocted by man to deceive the world makes you the PUPPET!

    Everything you call me, you are and more. There can be no worse devil than one who is spouting lies, believing it to be the truth. None more ignorant than he who would not apply his/her intellect; for example, worshipping idols because that painting of Christ in every church building can be nothing more than idolatry.

    So what is it that you really doing? Show me where I am indulging in idolatry; as much demons as you think I got in me?

    Who exactly is Satan or the Devil? Just a concoction of an active imagination, designed to control people, not by God, but by man.

    In recorded history, mankind has alluded to thousands of gods.

    Mankind is made up of believers and non believers.

    The difference between believers and non believers is typically only one god (this is of course the case with the dominant monotheistic religions of today).

    Therefore one and all can only conclude that man has a tremendous inclination to invent gods.

    I can not agree with you more, and on both points.

    What you call the dominant monotheistic religions tend to purport that they adopt the Bible as their guide. The Bible teaches that there is only ONE TRUE GOD.

    With respect to your second point Romans 1:20-23 is particularly relevant as it describes the reason for the invention of several gods. This is the biblical view; one can accept it, or not.

    1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
    1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified [him] not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
    1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
    1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

    Tell me, who is this Rok that can determine that Zoe is a liar and that he has not clinically experienced demons as described in his studies of God’s Word or from his reading of books dealing with Demonology?

    The NT records accounts of Jesus casting out demons. There are many similar accounts in literature. I have heard pastors relate their encounters with demon possessed persons. I have heard Christian physchiatrists opine that some of the so called mental illness that is untreatable by modern medicine may well be really demon possession.

    The closest I believe that I have come to such an encounter is when dealing with a very bad behaved lad in a Church camp in Virginia. When I asked him why HE behaved as he did. He answered boldly, “Because WE want you to quit!”

    Zoe might be belligerent and aggressive and impatient, but your scoffing does not bring anything of substance to the table. Zoe’s writings clearly show that he has studied the Bible, and that he has read widely about Biblical matters. He most certainly makes much more sense than Rok, who is particularly erratic, and probably demon possessed!.

    God hates religion
    Religions are man-made attempts to come to God on man’s own terms.
    God didn’t establish any of the “religions.” Instead God sent His Son to pay a terrible price for your salvation and mine. Now you and I can receive salvation as a free gift, through faith. You MUST understand the difference between religion and Christianity, because Christianity is NOT a religion, even though there are a lot of religions that call themselves “Christian.”

    Religion is man trying to reach God or become God by his (man’s) own efforts. By contrast, Christianity is God opening the door for us to enter heaven by means of the costly sacrifice of His Son, Jesus, on the cross.

    All religions were started by Lucifer and his pride. As Isaiah 14 describes it:
    13 For you have said in your heart: I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north. 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.”
    God has always sought to have a loving relationship with you and me. God wants us to trust Him and walk according to His perfect plan for our lives. But from the very first, we humans have continually second guessed God. Adam and Eve wanted to do things their way, even though there was only one rule to follow. After they sinned, they invented their own religion (fig leaves) to cover their shame. God rejected the fig leaf religion and introduced the concept of sacrificial offerings as the proper way to cover our shame.
    You and I are no better than Adam and Eve. We always second guess God and want things our way. We always come short of His standards and His will for our lives (Romans 3:23).
    Fortunately we have Jesus as our Passover Lamb. Those of us who trust in the saving power of His sacrifice have applied His shed blood to the doors of our hearts. We still come short of God’s standards, but now the price for our salvation has been paid (Romans 3:24).
    By contrast, the mother of all religions is gathering its blasphemous forces in one last futile attempt to obliterate Christians, Jews and Israel from the face of the earth. Hopefully this lesson has helped you to understand the evil forces at work.
    Above all, remember that Jesus loves you, personally and passionately. His love and power are the best protection you have against the forces of darkness that will soon rise to power here on earth. His truth will make you immune to the seductive lies of the beast and the False Prophet and the harlot.
    If you disagree with some (or all) of my conclusions — GOOD! I’m pleased that you have the intellectual fortitude to think for yourself. Just be sure your arguments are based on Scriptural analysis that YOU have performed, not doctrinal positions that you have been taught. If you pray for wisdom and diligently study Scriptures for yourself, the Holy Spirit will guide you in all understanding.

    I can’t believe I am witnessing this. Hopi, Technician and others are presenting proof of an African existence that predates Constantines epiphany and thus the Christianization of Europe, and their thesis is being challenged with cliches from a book that was translated by King George. Whether it is genetics, linguistics, or archeology, the evidence is that all humans share a common African genesis, and that Judeo/Christian mythology was created in order to erase that history.

    The Bible which many of those beating on their chest and proselytizing in here are quoting as their authority advised them that only the truth shall set them free. That they gleefully exhibit and flaunt the chains that migrated from shackling their ankles to shackling their minds, is an indication that advice is lost on them.

    Do not cast pearls before swine Hopi. When the Hyskos were driven out of Egypt they created a myth of being enslaved there and building the pyramids. They usurped the local beliefs they had assimilated while they ruled Egypt, and presented an image that the early white invaders of the Euphrates Valley were responsible for all that is good in this world. And for the so called Christians in where flaggelating themselves in religious fervor, the Late Doctor John Hendrick Clarke advises that the only white people in the that part of the world when Christ was allegedly born were Romans and Greeks. And since he was neither, the religious institutions that houses them are committing the greatest blasphemy imaginable. But that’s the idiosyncrasy of Christianity for you

    As Aristotle said, “To say of what is, that it IS, or of what is NOT that it is NOT, is TRUE.” Metaphysics, 1077b 26.

    Jesus said: “And you shall KNOW the TRUTH, and the TRUTH shall make you FREE.” John 8:32.

    I personally detest LIARS, Satan is the Father of all LIES, and anytime ‘he’ and his Demons are exposed for what they are, those like Rok, Hopi, et al, whose minds he has already ‘Dupped’ rise up, ignorantly, seeking to discredit the ‘Truth’ about the LIES of Satan and his reality; his typical ‘trump’ card, ‘Don’t believe what Zoe is saying…’ so the ‘deceived’ come to the Devil’s defense.

    Correspondence is a two-placed relation between a PROPOSITION, and the state of affairs, that is it intentional object.

    Therefore, TRUTH, is grounded in intentionality.

    As Simon Greenleaf, a father of the theory of ‘evidence’ in his famous 1874 work, ‘Testimony of the Evangelists…rule of municiple law, states:

    “A proposition of FACT is proved when TRUTH is established by competent and satisfactory evidence.”

    Jesus said, (propositional) , “And these SIGNS will follow them who BELIEVE: In My Name they will CAST ot DEMONS; they will speak with new tongues…they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (Mark. 16: 17, 18b).

    Now, this IS a propositional declaration, which is either TRUE of False; did this proposition that Jesus said would happen through those who BELIEVE in Him, using the authourity of His Name, ever happen?

    Most certainly, beginning from the very Apostolic age, and continuing right up until this very day, volumes of recorded facts, of many been Healed in His Name, even the dead have been raised in His Name, and countless numbers, have been ‘Delivered’ from mild to severe Demonic infestation, long before I was born, throughout the centuries before our time.

    Now, I have NEVER doubted, not even the slightest, what God’s Word states, I was ‘Saved’ many years before I saw, before my very eyes, deliverance of people from ‘Demon’ interference in their minds, personalities and so on.

    I had studied intensely, for years, books on ministeries who God had called to set many free from captive Demonic problems; and I really wanted to see this first hand, NEVER doubted this at all, though, I’d not actually witnessed it first hand.

    Well, that all cxhanged in 1992, when I for the first time witnessed with my own eyes, how terrible and devastatingly Demons can affect ones personality and life.

    The point here, is, that God’s Word, through Jesus Christ, made a PROPOSITIONAL statement, either TRUE, or FALSE, abundant testimony through the ages, before my time, conform this, some believe it to be true, some don’t, as there will always be doubters and scoffers, outside the Church, as well as inside the Church, just because one HAS not seen something for themselves, does NOT invalidate its truthfulness.

    I’ve always being willing to ‘believe’ first, without actual eyewitness proof, meaning, I have not yet seen, BUT, other credible witnesses have testified to its factuality, and that has always being good enough for me.

    Then, I SAW, HEARD, and witnessed for myself, that Jesus’ propositional declaration, made 2000 years ago, IS in fact TRUE.

    Satan and his demonic host are REAL, exactly as stated in God’s Word, NO doubt at ALL, the reality of this is there, all over the world; BUT, he does NOT like anyone to understand this, other wise, they can take steps to recognize his subtle plots and plans to keep deceiving mankind, as he first did with Eve and Adam, our foreparents.

    This is a vast subject, I cannot begin to share but a glimmer of what has been written, experienced, and well documents on this, which I KNOW is true.

    Jesus Christ IS the Only one, and in whose Name, Demons will flee; they hold multitudes captive in all walks of life, in every country.

    God’s Word, warns us of this spiritual reality.

    “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand AGAINST the wiles of the Devil. For we do not wrestle AGAINST flesh and blood, but AGAINST principalities, AGAINST powers, AGAINST the rulers of the DARKNESS of this age, AGAINST spiritual hosts of WICKEDNESS in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to WITHSTAND in the EVIL DAY, and having done all, to stand.” ( Eph. 6:10-13) emphasis added.

    No enemy be they physical or spiritual want us to KNOW what they are planning and plotting AGAINST us, Satan is no different, and he knows EVERY strategy, and his the Father of ALL LIES, even convincing many that he does not exist. Clever!

    A little disappointed that both sides of this debate have not tries to engage a little more. Shouting between civilize adults is so not cool:-).

    Trying to engage we would like to read the views of GP and Zoe especially regarding the role Constantine played in forming Christianity. The question is asked against the background that Paganism was rampant in that era to rally the armies etc. Explain the process how Christianity was adopted as the religion some say dogma of choice. There is the old argument that Christianity was used as the mind altering force, we all know Hopi, ROK et al are its biggest proponents.

    We are out of our league on this subject but remain a keen student.

    @Zoe…..Do you know that this Aristotle studied at the MASTERS feet in Kemet? He ain’t exactly who they painted him to be. The Father of lies is the One who commanded that the Bible be used to conquer (very effectively) the minds of too many.

    ‘For we do not wrestle AGAINST flesh and blood, but AGAINST principalities, AGAINST powers, AGAINST the rulers of the DARKNESS of this ‘world’, AGAINST spiritual WICKEDNESS in high places.’ You need to go and preach this sermon to the Pope, the Pastors and the Politicians, because the spiritual wickedness that’s being meted out by this bunch has changed the days of many into ‘nights.’

    So who is this Matthew Hunt? Sorry but I tired with the argument. I invite you to view a BU thread on this subject matter, which is probably the longest thread on this blog. It had over 1000 responses.

    Secondly, why are we discussing concepts and history which we know don’t exist and which we know did not happen and trying to legitimise it? It makes it an intellectual exercise which some are taking to the epitome nonsense, yet calling others ignorant.

    Third is that in a few years from now, our descendants are going to be laughing at us as we laughed at medeaval medicine and science. What demons what? Nonsense! Just like the old time doctors used to bleed people to get out bad blood, like how you would bleed a hydraulic mechanism.

    We know the relationship between consciousness and the body. We know that it is about the chemistry, so why are we harbouring foolishness like demons in a body. This also take account of the power of the mind and if a mind is out of control it is not because of demons. That is fairy tale story.

    Finally, I want one of you to give me an explanation for the millionth time, as to why Christians worship a white man but yet endorse a different description of Christ? I also want one of you to explain why Christianity is practicing idolatry? I want them to explain why the Bible states that this entire world began only 6,000 years ago when there is evidence of life on earth 400Million years ago? And if these basic things are so wrong what makes them think that anything else can be right?

    One more thing. My basic problem with Christians is that they seek to impose themselves and their beliefs on people based on the fiction that it is the only true religion.

    Because of this belief they think they can lick down and break up. Now is this not the same mentality of the Israelis today about the Palestinians? This is how dangerous a Christian is. If you put a gun in their hands they would kill everybody that even questions Christ and would say that they deserve death. They would burn every book that taught anything contrary to their fundamentalism. Innocent people would be destroyed.

    Understand that when you get caught up in this religion you become the devil self. That is why Zoe and Hunt talking bout demons. They know because they are demons themselves.

    I did not know that there are ANY Scriptures that describes Christ, in anyway. Do you? Please cite them.

    True Christians don’t practice idolatry. Most Christian denominations don’t have any pictures or statues or icons in their churches, and their worship gatherings are very simple and informal.

    There is NO place where the Bible states that this entire world began only 6,000 years ago. Please provide chapter and verse to indicate such in support of your claim.

    What does the bleeding of people by old time doctors have to do with anything that has been discussed in this thread?
    Because you do not believe in demons, does not mean that there are none. The Bible say that they exist. Many others believe that they exist because they have encountered them.

    I wonder if Obama knows who placed the explosives in the 3 WTC buildings that were blown up on 911.

    “Active Thermitic Material Discovered in Dust from the 9/11 World Trade Center Catastrophe” by Niels H. Harrit, Jeffrey Farrer, Steven E. Jones, Kevin R. Ryan, Frank M. Legge, Daniel Farnsworth, Gregg Roberts, James R. Gourley and Bradley R. Larsen

    The paper ends with this sentence: “Based on these observations, we conclude that the red layer of the red/gray chips we have discovered in the WTC dust is active, unreacted thermitic material, incorporating nanotechnology, and is a highly energetic pyrotechnic or explosive material.”

    In short, the paper explodes the official story that “no evidence” exists for explosive/pyrotechnic materials in the WTC buildings.

    What is high-tech explosive/pyrotechnic material in large quantities doing in the WTC dust? Who made tons of this stuff and why? Why have government investigators refused to look for explosive residues in the WTC aftermath?

    These are central questions raised by this scientific study.

    3. Dr. Farrer is featured in an article on page 11 of the BYU Frontiers magazine, Spring 2005: “Dr. Jeffrey Farrer, lab director for TEM” (TEM stands for Transmission Electron Microscopy). The article notes: “The electron microscopes in the TEM lab combine to give BYU capabilities that are virtually unique… rivaling anything built worldwide.” The article is entitled: “Rare and Powerful Microscopes Unlock Nano Secrets,” which is certainly true as regards the discoveries of the present paper.

    4. Kudos to BYU for permitting Drs. Farrer and Jones and physics student Daniel Farnsworth to do the research described in the paper and for conducting internal reviews of the paper. Dr. Farrer was formerly first author on this paper. But after internal review of the paper, BYU administrators evidently disallowed him from being first author on ANY paper related to 9/11 research (this appears to be their perogative, but perhaps they will explain). Nevertheless, the paper was approved for publication with Dr. Farrer’s name and affiliation listed and we congratulate BYU for this. We stand by Dr. Farrer and congratulate his careful scientific research represented in this paper.

    5. Perhaps now there will finally be a review of the SCIENCE explored by Profs. Harrit and Jones and by Drs. Farrer and Legge and their colleagues, as repeatedly requested by these scientists. We challenge ANY university or established laboratory group to perform such a review. This paper will be a good place to start, along with two other peer-reviewed papers in established journals involving several of the same authors:

    David, your obvious sincere question to glean some understanding of Constantine and Christianity and the part he played vis-a-vis the ‘church’ is very important, and yes, the adoption of dogma.

    Volumes and volumes of Church history are all there, covering from the Apostolic era, right through to the 19th century. It is a life time endeavor in itself, to become familar with.

    Before attempting to explain the Constantine era of Church History, as concisely as is possible, the following is a breakdown of the nine periods that constitute Church History:

    First Period:

    The Life of Christ, and the Apostolic church. From the Incarnation of Christ, to the death of the Apostle John. A.D. 1-100.

    Second Period:

    Christianity under persecution in the Roman empire. From the death of the Apostle John to Emperor Constantine. A.D. 100-311.

    Third Period:

    The spread of infidelity, and revival of Christianity in Europe and America, with missionary efforts encirclying the globe. From the French Revolution to the present time. A.D. 1790-1880.

    First, it is absolutely essential to understand that Roman Catholicism, the Papacy, Cardinals, Priest, and all of the other vast number of rituals, formalism, and Dogma, etc, etc., DID NOT exist, no come into being UNTIL after Constantine merged the church with the State, the union of the State/Church, thus giving birth to Roman Catholicism. As Church historian Philip Schaff, correctly states:

    ‘The martyrs and confessors of the first THREE centuries, (A.D. 1-300), in expectation of the impending end of the world and their desire for a speedy return of the Lord, had NEVER once thought of such a thing as the great and sudden change, which meets us at the beginning of this period, in relation to the Roman State to the Christian church. (A.D. 311-337). Tertullian (earlier church father) had even held the Christian profession to be IRRECONCILABLE with the office of a Roman emperor.”

    The point to always remember, is this, that, the True Church of Jesus Christ, that which had its birth on the Day of Pentecost, in the early first century, as recorded in the book of Acts, continued on through the second century, Post Apostolic period, right up to Constantine the Great (A.D. 311-337), and during the periods that preceds Constantine, the Christians were severely persecuted, tortured and killed as they resolutely STOOD up for their unshakeable FAITH and belief in their Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ, and the writings of three early church Fathers’ Ignatius, Polycarp, and Clement of Rome, are still in tact today, confirming the use of the Apostolic documents, as the Word of God, long before Constantine was ever thought of.

    Alan Barnett summarises, “They, (Ignatius, Polycarp, and Clement of Rome (A.D 95-115) ALL cite or allude to the New Testament documents, as God-inspired, authoritative, authentic Scripture.

    In so doing, they use 25 of 27 New Testament documents, with only Jude and 2 John, two of the shortest, being omitted [And probably for that reason].

    This shows that by 20-40 years after the Apostles, the New Testament documents were well known, curculated and respected as the Word of God.

    Remember David, this all occured and was recorded 200 years BEFORE Constantine comes into the picture, with the writings of Ignatius, Ploycarp, and Clement of Rome, citing or alluding TO the New Testament documents, using 25 of 27 New Testament books, and these writings of the early Post Apostolic Fathers, ARE STILL preserved until today.

    These three men, are from the period just outside of the close of the Apostolic period, (A.D. 1-100), in fact Ploycarp knew the Apostle John, the writter of the Book of Revelation, that closed the Canon of divinely Inspired Scripture in A.D. 95.

    The significant and vital point to always bear in mind, is this; the FACT that the writings of Ignatius, Polycarp, and Clement CITE or allude to 25 of the New Testament documents, Circa A.D. 95-115, completely vitiates the LIE that Constantine 200 hundred years later wrote the NT to suit his own agenda, is nothing but absurd, as he could NOT, even if where his intention, get around the FACT, that what the Apostles wrote from the first century, WAS already cited and alluded to by Ignatius, Polycarp, and Clement of Rome.

    Roman Catholicism, then, which had its birth with Constantine, (A.D. 311-337) while they DID NOT, and could NOT tamper with the early New Testament documents, confirmed by the three early church fathers, (A.D. 95-115) nevertheless, began mixing all kinds of paganistic practices with the new State/Church, Roman Catholicism, which the true dissenting sects, who derived NO benefit from this union, but were rather subject to perseecution from the State and from established Caholicism, which is another matter in itself.

Dr. Moore it was Black leaders that invited the US to bomb Grenada and it is now a quisi Black president that is carrying forward the Anglo-American principal of “bomb first and squash questions afterwards”.

    I find it interesting that a man with your knowledge would come here with what you know is an obvious non sequitur.

    You have a choice; you can ignore what we write. You can try to read it, like I read the submissions of Rok and Hopi, and try to see if there is anything of merit therein.     After 18 months on BU, I still do not know who David or Bush Tea, or MME, or JC or Bonny Pepper etc are. I dont know you either.

    Actually the folk with whom I have worshipped here, there and wherever have been taught to behave like the believers at Berea of whom we are told in Acts 17:11 that “they were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and SEARCHED THE SCRIPTURES DAILY, WHETHER THOSE THINGS WERE SO.”

    Having received the Word with an open mind, and not with scoffing, they go home and study the Scriptures for themselves.

    Please understand that when I try to share what I have learned on BU, it does not matter if you trust me or not. However, if you receive the Word with an open mind, and not with scoffing, and study the Scriptures for your self; then perhaps a seed would have been planted that springs up into a fruit bearing tree for Christ.

    “I’ll collect paper cups off the ground to make [Obama’s] pathway clear,” Halle Berry recently told the Philadelphia Daily News, “I’ll do whatever he says.” (Does Michelle know about this?)

    Hollywood stars aren’t known for their political wisdom. More disturbing is how starstruck the mainstream media has become. Hardball host Chris Matthews isn’t the only one who gets a “thrill” up his leg at the very thought of our new president.

    Last summer, San Francisco Chronicle columnist Mark Morford wrote that “Many spiritually advanced people I know … identify Obama as a Lightworker, that rare kind of attuned being who … can actually help usher in a new way of being on the planet.”

    The Politico recently ran a 900-word article entitled “The Power of Obama’s Hand,” reverentially describing how the president “uses touch to control and console simultaneously,” laying hands on supporters and opponents alike.

    And in February, author Judith Warner used her New York Times blog to confess that “The other night I dreamt of Barack Obama. He was taking a shower right when I needed to get into the bathroom to shave my legs.”

    Instead of keeping that information to herself, Warner “launched an email inquiry,” which revealed that “many women—not too surprisingly—were dreaming about sex with the president.” Those of us who like to point out that the Emperor has no clothes now have to worry that when we do, we may give rise to a new round of lurid cougar fantasies.

    Presidential cultishness can be found all across the political spectrum. It’s a pathology that needs to be rooted out, because when we swoon over the man who holds the office, we risk making the presidency far more powerful than it was ever intended to be.

    Constantine was NOT a theologian, he was the Emperor, it was the theologians, assembled from throught the know Christian World at the time, at the Council of Nicea, based entirely on the Revelation of God in Christ, cemented IN the Apostolic documents, attested TO by the early church Fathers, Ignatius, Ploycarp, and Clement of Rome, Circa A.D 95-115, that these early heresies concerning Jesus’ Deity and His humanity arose, the Ebionites, denied Christ’s Deity, the Gnostics, denied His humanity, the Arians, taught that Christ was a created being, the Apollinarians denied the completeness of Jesus’ human nature, the Nestorians denied the distinction of the two natures of Christ, thus making a third or hybrid nature of the two, the Monophysites, denied the two natures and wills on the one person of Christ; ALL heretical concepts, contrary to the revealed Person of Christ, and the New Testament witness.

    But, it was essentially because of the Arian heresy, which taught that Christ was a created being, that Constantine summoned the first universal council, to represent the whole church of the empire, and to give a final decision upon the relation of Christ to God the Father, and a few other minor questions of discipline, and the Meletian schism in Egpyt.

    The deliberations at the council, took place among the bishops from all the various regions within the empire, THEY, not Constintine were the ones, as theologians who finally decided on this controversy, and as any intelligent person would understand, the Emperor, who convened the Council, simply gave his approval, as the head of the New State/Church, Roman Catholicism.

    Just like when our Governor General signs a document, as our Head of State, on some important legal matter, but he does not influence the deliberations that lead to the consensus.

    The Council of Nicea, ratified what was ALREADY written in God’s Word from the NT documents, as a Creedal statement.

    Hopi, go and study about YOUR Father, NOT mine; I already know all about YOUR Father, and mine, and stop remaining so ignorant about your Father!

    Keep throwing stupid ‘red herrings’ into the fray, to distract from the truth, as recorded in volumes of factual church history, which you are unable to understand, or make any sense of! But, if you want to continue showing your ineptitude on such matter, keep writing; for it just creates any opportunity for the TRUTH and facts to be given, to those who have a willing mind to learn!

That all they did was under duress for the most of them? What does that do to the process and what about those Bishops who wielded power and authority in the name of Constantine who were in the meeting dictating the process and the text?

    Just a few facts on Castro’s Cuba; having seized power on Januray 1, 1959 Fidel Castro followed in the tradition of Vladimir Lenin, and immediately turned his country into a slave camp. Ever since, Cuba has distinguished itself as ONE of the most monstrous human-rights abusers in the world.

    Half a million (500,000) human beings have passed through Cuba’s gulag. Since Cuba’s population is only around eleven million, that gives Castro’s despotism the HIGHEST political incarceration rate per captia on earth. Firing squads have carried out more than 15,000 executions. Torture has been institutionlized in Castro’s Cuba, myriad human rights organization have documented the regime’s use of electric shock, dark-coffin-sized isolation cells, and the beating to punish “anti-socialist” elements. Prisoners were beaten with bayonets, electric cables and truncheons, and forced to take ‘baths’ in human feces and urine.

    In Castro’s Cuba, the jail population is 80 percent black, while the government hierarchy is 100 percent white.

    Castro has sent helicopters to drop sand bags onto rafts of would-be-escapees, or just gun them down. Epitomizing this barbarity was the Tugboat Massacre of July 13, 1994, in which Castro ordered patrol boats to kill 41 unarmed Cuban civilians – 10 of them children – who wer using an old wooden tugboat in their attempt to flee Cuba.

    Castro, is one of the most despotic, tyrannical beast, ever in the history of communism, right here in the Caribbean; and we have certain amomg us, that almost worship him as a hero! A hero of what?

    Let us please observe that Cuba was cut off from all exchange within the hemisphere within which they exist, for daring to try an experiment of socialism.

    (Because, to quote Bush (v.2) (much later), “If you’re not with us, you’re against us!”)

    Please do note that the health care provided in Cuba is *much* better than many other countries in the western hemisphere… (Admittedly, doctors don’t generally get paid much more than artists, but at the same time, the long term costs to the students aren’t much different. And, is this *necessarily* bad?)

    Under the Bush administration the coalition obviously got derailed and they ended up with UK and Canada only standing. Obama’s approach seems to be one of encouraging that coalition approach again in Pakistan/Afghanistan especially. Time will tell if the newbie prez is able to do it.

Like I mentioned before the biggest terrorist on this planet now is the Federal Reserve. If I had given my power to BaRat the traitor I’d be so disappointed. BaRat is betraying the hopes of everyone all over this planet who put their hope and trust in him. Everyday they are bombing the hell out of Pakistan, tribal region by tribal region and they are doing it semi-secretly. You see BaRat is not going before the Congress to ask for permission to do this because he already has a mandate. They’ve been setting up Pakistan for a while now with that clandestine operation on the hotel in Mumbai last year. And as far as Afghanistan is concerned they’ve been trying to conquer that region for eons now.

Are you telling me that no matter the content, so long as something is couched is a particular way it is Gospel? What hypocrisy! The truth does not matter? I told you this was an intellectual exercise gone wrong. Now you are trying to justify content by saying that it is scriptural?

    What was supposed to happen at Nicene was for the creed to be couched in a way that made it palatable for the theologian. The truth did not matter, just as you said. It achieved its objective. Would you agree? You can’t disagree. You said it yourself.

    It would appear that from the “First” period to at least the “Eighth” period (i.e. over 1500 years), Christianity was known only to a small minority of humankind. The peoples of Africa, the Americas, Asia and Oceania were blithely practicing some other religion. Why did God apparently ignore these people for so long?

    Regarding your most recent comment, Christians like others are taught to be tolerant of all faiths? If this is true why can’t we extend the same tolerance to other the way others would prefer to govern themselves? If you say not why not include China and many of the Asian/MIDDLE East countries who don’t practice democracy as we know it?

    In 2003 Dan Brown published this international best-selling novel, which begins page 1 with claim “Fact:” and then details several points, concluding:

    “All descriptions of artwork, architecture, documents, and secret rituals in this novel are ACCURATE.”

    In short, the book claims to be a fictionalized, exciting survey of allegedly suppressed history. History is not very flattering to the church, the New Testament, or the gospel. Among other claims…

    “Constantine [the first “Christian” roman Emperor] commissioned and financed a new Bible, which omitted those gospels that spoke of Christ’s human traits and embellished those gospels that made Him godlike. The earlier gospels were outlawed, gathered up and burned.” (page 234)…”Fortunately for historians…some of the gospels that Constantine attempted to eradicate managed to survive. The Dead Sea Scrolls were found in the 1950s hidden in a cave near Qumran in the Judean desert.” (page 235)

    Is what Brown wrote ‘Fact’ or fictional?

    The above quote from pages 234 and 235 of Brown’s book, are OUT RIGHT misrepresentations of the Facts, down right distortions and blatant LIES.

    The very first thing that Jesus warned would take place as signs of the End-times in Matthew 24 is:

    “Jesus answered them. Be careful that NO ONE misleads you [deceiving you and leading you into error]. v.4.

    Brown is just another LIAR and deceiver, first claiming that his book is ‘fictionalized’ which means an invention of the human mind, concoction, fantasy, falsehood, yet, he then proceeds to attack the Council of Nicea, whose deliberations are all well documented with facts, TWISTING the historic facts, into LIES.

    NS, what you need is way beyond medication, you NEED deliverance from an ensnared mind, held captive to lying, deceiving spirits, and the Only One that can help you, you have mocked and scoffed at!
