There is the ageless saying that when the US catches a cold, the rest of the world is affected. A decision of the United States under Trump 2.0 to aggressively implement a policy aimed at eradicating illegal AND legal immigration is anticipated to include any Caribbean countries. Another executive order was signed directing the US Cabinet to compile a list of countries with deficient vetting and screening information, warranting partial or full suspension of visa issuance for their nationals“. This is anticipated to impact a handful of Caribbean countries listed in the report below posted to caribbeansignal.com.

YOU WERE WARNED ON JANUARY 1, 2025 THAT THE WORLD WOULD NEVER BE THE SAME WHEN DJT TOOK OFFICE 19 DAYZ LATER!!! THE ADMIN IS JUST SHY OF 2 MONTHS IN OFFICE & THE LEVEL OF RABID, RADICAL CHANGE HAS BEEN NOTHING SHORT OF REVOLUTIONARY. WHAT MOST ARE AFRAID TO CRITIQUE IS THE SEISMOLOGICAL FALLOUT THIS WILL BE CREATED OVER THE NEXT 3 YEARS & 9 MONTHS

For those who do read their “BIBLES” given that they take “NO COMFORT” in seeing the “HANDWRITING ON THE WALL” & the “INTERPRETAIONAL HUBRIS” of what is about 2 occur, but rather choose “DENIALISMS”, “OBFUSCATIONS” & “DISTANCIATION” as their modus operandi – will not only be “UNPREPARED” when the “EXCREMENT HITS THE FAN” but will find themselves alarmed beyond petrification at what they see unfolding!!!

BUT YOU WERE WARNED – YET TOOK NO HEED

Warning has always come before “JUDGMENT” – it also comes before “DESTRUCTION”!!!

The USA is doing what the “PROPHETIC ORACLE” says she will do!!!

In 1902, well-meaning Christians in #AmeriKKKa were prophetically warned that there is coming a time when they will be forced 2 “SELL-UP” (if they had time), “PACK-UP”, & “MOVE-UP” out of a country gripped by “GULAGIAN ENTITIES” & to seek higher ground somewhere outside of the (DIS) #UnitedStates of #Amnesia & #Paranoia!!!

THAT TIME IS NOW – IT’S HERE

Throughout the “HOLY ORACLES OF DIVINE SCRIPTURE”, (for centuries), interpreters have warned that the “2ND BEAST POWER” of Revelation 13:11-18 (THE UNITED STATES), who began as a lamblike nation will “ONE DAY” speak as a “DRAGON” (ACCORDING TO THE SPECIOUS NATURE OF SATAN – THE DRAGON); enacting “LAWS”, breaching even the puritanical walls of the “CONSTITUTION” – merging “CHURCH & STATE”, to look like the “FIRST BEAST” (THE ROMAN CATHOLIC PAPACY) of the #DarkAges – where from 538 AD to 1798 (1260 years) she “MURDERED” over 50 “MILLION PROTESTANT CHRISTIANS”, who would not bow to “PAPAL DECREES” or “WORSHIP” how they were “MANDATED TO” by Catholic priests & bishops!!!

THE HISTORY IS THERE 4 ANYONE WHO WANTS 2 READ THE ANCIENT HANDWRITING ON THAT MEDIEVAL WALL

#AmeriKKKaWillBeTheImage of that “FIRST BEAST” & according to Rev 13:16-18, will “MAKE AN IMAGE TO THAT FIRST BEAST” – causing “ALL THE WORLD” 2 “WORSHIP” on pains of “DEATH” – just as proscribed back then – but “INFAMOUSLY” that “NO MAN MAY BUY OR SELL” unless he/she has the “MARK”, “NAME” or “NUMBER” OF THE BEAST*!!!

No profound epistemological or theological analysis is required to make known in the simplest of terms, what is about to “UNFOLD”!!!

Yet, before, (2 CITE TRUMP: “ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE”), in the wider, grander, context of all things (MALEVOLENT) – #ProphecyStates that “PLANET EARTH” will lose “ONE-THIRD” of its inhabitants through the “GREATEST OF ALL WARS” that will be fought sometime between 2025 – 2027 (MY ESTIMATION OR PREDICTION BASED ON THE UNRAVELLING OF THE SCROLL) and the time sequencing based on mathematical modelling & NOT* some “DIRECT INSPIRATION” from the “ANGEL OF THE LORD” (as did the ancient prophets)!!!

FOR WHO REALLY KNOWS THE EXACT TIME WHEN THESE THINGS WILL COME 2 PAST – FOR NONE OF US IS PREPARED TO SEE 3+ BILLION PEOPLE SMOKED TO ASHES

If some are still recovering from what IsraHELL* did in GAZA* – #StayTuned 4 an “APOCALYPSUS OF SUCH DIABOLICAL PROPORTIONS” that SCRIPTURE* opines: “FOR UNLESS THOSE DAYZ BE SHORTENED – NO FLESH WOULD BE SAVED” (Matt. 24:22) – reinforces by the words of the prophet Daniel – who opined: “FOR THERE WILL BE A TIME OF TROUBLE LIKE NO OTHER TIME SINCE THE WORLD BEGAN…” (Daniel 12:1, also referenced in Matt 24:21-22)!!!

THIS GIGANTIC WAR THAT WILL BE FOUGHT MOST CALL #WW3 BUT IT WILL BE AN EXTENSION OF #WW2 (which never really finished) GIVEN THE PRECEEDING WARS THAT HAVE BEEN FOUGHT SINCE 1945 UNTIL TODAY

Zechariah 14:2 paints an “OMINOUS PICTURE” of that upcoming “GIGANTIC WAR” that will be “FOUGHT OVER JERUSALEM” (as this time, “THE MOST HIGH YAH” will be “THE ONE” who gather “ALL NATIONS 2 BATTLE @ JERUSALEM”!!!

We have had 2 world wars but “NEVER” have “ALL NATIONS” of the world been involved to the extent that they will be this time!!!

THIS WILL BE THE GREAT TRIBULATION AS PROPHESIED IN MATTHEW 24!!!

Those who are the “ESCAPED ONES” will be “FIRST” the people of GOD* – (THEN* the most virulent & “MOST WICKED GOD HATERS”) who are “RESERVED” for what “REVELATION CHAPTER 19” describes as “THE SUPPER OF THE GREAT GOD” where the “VULTURES” & birds of prey will be summoned to come “EAT THE FLESH OF KINGS, NOBLES et al!!!

You can “CHOOSE” to ignore “WARNINGS” but this will stand against “ALL OF YOU” in the DAY OF JUDGMENT” – for no one will be able 2 say: “BUT I DID NOT KNOW”!!!

    Damn straight you knew!!!

That “REBEL-ROUSING” Black boy from Oistin’s Hill/Cane Vale who went to school at Boy’s Foundation in the 1970s wrote incessantly that things would happen but as Scripture declares: “NO PROPHET IS ACCEPTED IN HIS OWN COUNTRY, HIS OWN TOWN OR EVEN IN HIS OWN HOME…”

    LIKE HELL Y’ALL KNEW

  2. Terence,

Of course we knew and warned against. Not on your biblical prophecies, but quite simply that a narcissist and sociopath should not be the leader of any nation, let alone such a powerful one.

We spoke against it strongly, but one on this forum errantly praised his ‘coming’, seemingly to fulfill prophecy.

On a simple commonsense level, no one with a right mind wanted this, but we knew that there was substantial money being thrown into it, by such as Musk.

It did not have to be, but voters bought the lies, just as Musk bought the election.

Could easily have been avoided, if voters had sense.

  3. Well I agree with Mia dem could keep the visas! The world is a big place and there is much more to see than a mall door in the USA!

Those with family there why not help them to come home for a visit instead? I going make a stand with my wallet and go where I am welcomed. Dun wid dat!

  4. @John A

All agree we must stand up to bullying, however, we have to bear in mind that our two economies are interconnected. Start with the peg to the USD, how we trade I.e. correspondent financial relationships etc.

  5. Weee suggest that this is too superficial of a reading.

For to expect Drumpf, the president of the oligarchs, to take measures to stem the flows of cheap labour when at the same time he seeks reshoring, to transform an 80 percent services based economy to be more production based one, amongst other factors, is a misreading.

That Drumpf feints an interests in his Maga sheeple can never be real and is merely political. An act to satisfy the sheeple who are persuaded that migrants interfere with the labour markets to their disadvantage.

Wee should expect Drumpf to side, every time, with the oligarchs he’s there to serve. In these circumstances cheap or near slave labour, the interests of the oligarchs, will triumph every time.

Yesterday I made a comment regarding the world of spies and a US boycott (suggested by a St. Lucian which got got)

It is a ticklish subject appeasing a nut by selling out
but I guess that is why the title is:
“A few Caribbean countries in ‘US crosshairs’”
    and not extrapolating info as:
    “Black countries in ‘US crosshairs’”

    Black Man and Black Man
    Should not fight
    Black Man and Black Man
    Should unite
    Black Man and Black Man
    Should live upright

    WHAT A NAME!!!

    #ROFLMBO

You cited: “a narcissist and sociopath should not be the leader of any nation, let alone such a powerful one…”

    BUT THAT’S JUST THE POINT!!!

Rev 13, verse 18 categorically states:

“”HERE IS WISDOM*”. “Let him who has understanding “CALCULATE” the “NUMBER” of the “BEAST”, for it is the “NUMBER” of a “MAN”; and “HIS NUMBER” is six hundred three score and six.” (666)

WHOEVER STAND AT THE HELM OF THE (DIS) UNITED STATES OF AMNESIA & PARANOIA WILL BEAR THAT NUMBER (666) WHICH IS THE BEAST POWER NUMBER ACCORDING TO PROPHETIC SCRIPTURE

On another note, “ALL PSYCHOPATHS, SOCIOPATHS & NARCISSISTS” follow a germane pattern according to Sigmund Freud…

    WHAT ABOUT KIM JUNG UN???

IS VLADIMIR PUTIN IN ANY OF THOSE CATEGORIES???

    WHAT ABOUT #TedrosAdhanomGhebreyesus???

    WHAT ABOUT KLAUS SCHWAB???

    #WhatAboutViktorOrbán???

    #WhatAboutRecepTayyipErdoğan???

The Democracy Index (Economist Intelligence Unit, 2022) lists 59 countries as authoritarian regimes. This index evaluates electoral processes, civil liberties, government functionality, political participation, & political culture!!!

Freedom House UK (2023) classified 54 countries as “NOT FREE”, indicating severe restrictions on political rights & civil liberties – while Polity IV Project has focused on institutional authority traits, categorizing regimes on a scale from “AUTOCRATIC” 2 DEMOCRATIC” – for the exact counts vary but align closely with the number being close to 72!!!

    FINAL QUESTION:

IS THE MOTTLEY CREW GOV* IN ANY OF THE ABOVE [3] CATEGORIES OR ALL [3]

  9. Expect Barbados to be under Trump radar
Knowing that Mia did not mix words on the global stage about Isreal heavy hand against Palestine
Any leader who dares disagree with Trump policies become an instant enemy
Mia long talk about America withholding visa while she sides with Cuba is just that long talk
The realities of America and Barbados economy linked in many factors says different

  11. Oral vs written order

Precedent from 2003, Landmark Legal Services v. EPA

    Judge Lamberth presiding.

Must have the written order so that each party knows exactly what it is.

That’s why a draft order is submitted with an application in local courts and then marked up once the judge makes his order by the two opposing attorneys.

The result is an agreed order.

Still takes time and then more time to enter.

  12. GANG ‘DILEMMA’

TOURISM AT RISK IF GANG LEGISLATION NOT CAREFULLY CRAFTED, WARNS EXPERT
    By Emmanuel Joseph
A University of the West Indies researcher has cautioned that Barbados’ vital tourism industry could suffer serious damage if proposed legislation to classify criminal gangs as terrorist organisations is not meticulously prepared.
Last month, Prime Minister Mia Mottley, CARICOM chair, and her regional counterparts agreed to introduce legislation that will grade criminal gangs as terrorist enterprises, signalling an important change in the Caribbean’s way of fighting violent crime.
The unparalleled move, announced by former Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago Dr Keith Rowley during a postsummit press conference in Barbados, aims to dismantle criminal networks and address the “unacceptably high” levels of violence plaguing the Caribbean Community.
Dr Rowley, the then-lead prime minister responsible for security in the CARICOM quasi-cabinet, said: “We believe that the legislation needs to be cognisant of what exactly we are experiencing now as against what the existing legislation anticipated. And to that end, heads sourced and obtained the services of a former AG [attorney general] of Belize, Godfrey Smith, who has been tasked to review our legislative templates and to come up with new legislative proposals for consideration by the Heads for changes to be made on the legislative side to treat to what we are experiencing as against what we are surprised by.”
But UWI Professor Dwayne Devonish told Barbados TODAY that while he is not for or against the initiative, Barbados and the other regional governments must meticulously consider the pros and cons before acting on any such legislation.
In his assessment, the professor of Management and Organisational Behaviour in the Department of Management Studies at UWI Cave Hill first outlined the potential benefits of the proposed law before addressing the possible disadvantages.
“I would say, the key benefit is that it would provide a stronger and broader legal equipment for the police, prosecutors and those in judiciary to combat gang violence. So, what that means, is that it could be a stronger deterrent to these gangs,” he told Barbados TODAY.
Professor Devonish, whose speciality includes emotional intelligence and strategic planning, also believes that existing and potential gangsters could be turned off, due to terrorist as the new label, being cognisant that this classification would attract harsher punishment.
He added: “The next benefit is that when you classify gangs as terrorist groups, it can also help you to mobilise greater, not just national, but international resources . . . because a lot of those international organisations that provide countries that are fighting against terrorism with resources, would donate resources. So, when you classify them, it makes it easier for you to say ‘we want help’ from the international community to fight this.”
The expert in research methodology pointed out that he understood the rationale behind the move, but sounded a sober warning to the leaders on what should be foremost in their minds.
“These are the disadvantages,” he said. “Once you classify gangs as terrorists or terrorist groups, you must remember that not all gangs are the same. This is not to say, I am condoning gangs, right. But we got to be careful that if we are going to do this, that we have good due process. If I am going to classify a gang as a terrorist group, I first have to define what a gang is. Right now, we don’t even have a proper stable definition of what a gang is. You might have a group of young people who probably follow a little association to get back at somebody, but it may not be necessarily a gang.”
The UWI professor added: “What that means is that you may have a law enforcement overreach or abuse of the anti-terrorist laws; because once you classify them under what we call anti-terrorism laws . . . if they don’t fit the definition of a gang, then they can’t fit the definition of the Terrorist Act. Because, any group of young men coming together to do foolishness, doesn’t mean that’s a gang. So, we got to first get the legislation right on how we define a gang.”
Professor Devonish contended that groups which now identify themselves as gangs under various brands, would operate more covertly and strategically: “Because, in case they get caught, you have to justify that this is a gangrelated activity. What separates a group of guys coming to attack a guy because he may have taken away his drugs or his girlfriend, would that be a gang? No. so, the whole definition and boundaries surrounding conceptualising what gangs are, is going to be an important, important thing that we have to do.”
He then turned his attention to the impact which categorising gangs as terrorists will have on tourism, the economic lifeblood of Barbados.
“When you start classifying every gang as a terrorist group, what are you telling the tourists? ‘We had a report that say they had about 20 gangs in Barbados.’ That really would say that Barbados is high on certain international watchdog lists. Suddenly, you would have more terrorist groups than Afghanistan,” he declared.
The university lecturer contended that while it is going to allow people to recognise that Barbados is getting serious about violent crime, investors could stop coming.
He said: “When you say A you have to say B. It is going to affect international protection of the country . . . the country’s foreign investment is also going to be affected. So, when you start increasing the urgency, increasing the label, you are increasing the label of a terrorist place . . . ‘we have six terrorist activities . . .’ So, when the media reports, it is not going to say six gang activities, it is going to say six terrorist activities. If I am a tourist, I would not be coming here.”
Professor Devonish insisted that there must be a careful balance in how this issue is addressed because it is going to affect international perceptions.

  13. Another shit show in the making. It promises so much but now appears to be sputtering to disappoint.

    “Portvale workers seek answers
    By Sheria Brathwaite
Skilled professionals at the island’s sole sugar factory, Portvale, on Wednesday, sounded the alarm over what they describe as a crisis, citing mismanagement, low worker morale, and ongoing operational failures. Their allegations come amid conflicting statements from government officials and industry leaders over the mill’s management and future.
But Minister of Agriculture Indar Weir has pushed back against these claims, acknowledging some hiccups at the Blowers, St James factory but insisting that allegations of a crisis are exaggerated and only serve to undermine the industry.
Lieutenant Colonel Trevor Browne, the head of the Barbados Sustainable Energy Co-operative Society Limited (Co-op Energy), declared that he could not account for the current state of affairs at Portvale, as the government has yet to complete the transfer of ownership to the cooperative.
“Government has not yet handed over this operation to us, so they are still running it,” he said.
Speaking on condition of anonymity for a group of frustrated workers, an industry expert, with decades of experience at the factory, told Barbados TODAY that concerns are mounting over deteriorating factory equipment, unresolved labour disputes, and a lack of clarity regarding worker ownership shares in the sugar industry.
A major point of contention is the apparent absence of leadership from the newly established Barbados Energy and Sugar Company (BESCO) Ltd.
“This is supposed to be a new company, but we’re not seeing any representation. The same old management team from BAMC (Barbados Agricultural Management Company) is still in place,” the source said. “Workers feel abandoned. There’s no one to address our concerns or provide any sense of direction.”
The transition from the state-owned BAMC to BESCO has also been marred by contractual confusion. Initially, workers were presented with agreements almost identical to their previous BAMC contracts, only to receive a second version later, causing uncertainty.
“Many workers didn’t sign because the union advised us to hold off until negotiations could take place,” the source explained. “The new contract reduced working hours from 56 to 40 per week, with overtime beyond that, but these changes were never properly communicated.”
The expert criticised the handling of labour relations, pointing to ineffective union representation and ongoing disputes over pay, working conditions, and contract terms.
“The union met with management, but nothing meaningful came from those discussions. Workers are in limbo, and resentment is growing,” the source said.
“People are being promoted based on connections rather than skill or experience.
The integrity of factory equipment is also in question, raising serious health and safety concerns.
“Many people are frustrated and leaving. Morale is at an all-time low. We don’t even know who we’re working for because there’s no visible presence from the new company. We also have a severe shortage of skilled personnel like engineers, mechanics, and electricians.”
Co-op Energy was set to take control of the sugar industry in January 2024 following BAMC’s divestment. Two new firms under Co-op Energy were established—BESCO to manage the factory and Agricultural Business Company (ABC) Ltd to oversee 4 500 acres of farmland. In a landmark move, workers were promised a 20 per cent stake in ownership.
Adding to workers’ frustrations is the lack of transparency regarding their ownership shares in the company.
“No one has explained how the workerownership model will function. We haven’t had a single meeting to discuss this,” the source said.
Retrenched workers also told Barbados TODAY that they have received no information on their shares, their value, or the status of pension plans held with BAMC.
The controversy surrounding Portvale comes as Co-op Energy and the government disagree over ownership. On Tuesday, both Weir and Browne gave conflicting statements about who is managing the industry.
Co-op Energy insists the government remains in control, while the government maintains that Co-op Energy is responsible— despite the cooperative’s failure to meet its financial commitment of at least $4 million as part of a $16 million investment agreement.
On Wednesday, Weir acknowledged the workers’ concerns, but said that he had not been made aware of any labour issues.
He said: “Those HR issues have not been brought to my attention. From what I know, all those matters were settled before. Of course, in any organisation, there will be people who want to make it seem as though all is not well because they are dissatisfied with something. But that doesn’t mean it’s the general case.”
As the harvest season progresses, operational problems at Portvale persist, Barbados TODAY was told.
A worker said: “We have serious boiler issues—both are malfunctioning. Steam pressure keeps dropping, making it impossible for the machinery to function properly. We’re out of fuel, we’ve run out of bagasse, and the remaining materials have deteriorated due to rain damage. The little bagasse we have is wet, making it difficult to burn. The decision was made to use diesel on the materials but that led to thick black smoke covering Holetown and surrounding areas, prompting complaints from residents.”
The workers also allege that the government rushed the start of the crop season despite the factory being unprepared.
“The factory wasn’t ready, but we were forced to start anyway. Now we have thousands of tonnes of cane sitting in the yard, deteriorating and spoiling. This is not how you run a factory. We are paying good money for cane at a loss.”
But Weir rejected claims of a systemic failure.
“These comments are oftentimes erroneous,” he said. “The factory did have problems with material. The bagasse got wet in all the rain we were having. And it doesn’t burn well when it’s wet. So that resulted in some slowdown. But there are no mechanical problems with the factory that have been reported to me.”
