A house divided against cannot stand. These were the fateful words of Jesus. Christianity today is divided among fiercely divergent sects, groups, denominations and viewpoints, nearly all of which are narrow-minded at best and pleased to condemn each other at worst.
Christianity has become exclusive instead of inclusive – narrow, instead of visionary. It has made God out to be either a fiend or a power-deficient weakling who saves a select few, and condemns the rest of His creation to an eternity of Hell. How absurd! Is this “Someone” any of us would be inclined to worship and to serve?
Most postmodern religions (and over the many centuries) including the disciples of Jesus have fallen into the same demon-inspired lies as those held by the heathen man-made religions.
The Angel of Revelation 18:2-5 tells of the Fall of (spiritual) Babylon – that great city had become the hideout of demons and evil spirits, a nest for filthy buzzards and a den for dreadful beasts. For all the nations had drunk of the wine of passionate immorality. The rulers of the world have committed adultery with her and the merchants of the world have grown rich as a result of her luxurious living. Christ is asking His people to come out of her and to not partake of her sins lest they be punished with her for her sins are piled as high as Heaven and God is ready to judge her for her evil deeds.
Evangelical pastor and author of “A New Kind of Christian” Brian McLaren write: “Sadly, for centuries at a time in too many places to count, the Christian religion has downplayed, misconstrued, or forgotten the secret message of Jesus entirely. Instead of being about the kingdom of God coming to earth, the Christian religion has too often become preoccupied with abandoning or escaping the earth and going to heaven. Too often its members have forgotten the teachings of Jesus about making peace and turning the other cheek and crossing boundaries to serve people formerly considered ‘outsiders’. We have, instead, launched or baptized wars, perpetuated racism, and defended an unjust status quo. We have betrayed the message that the kingdom of God is available for all, beginning with the least and the last and the lost – and instead have believed and taught that the kingdom of God is available for the elite, beginning with the correct and the clean and the powerful.
Our music has too often been discordant, shallow, or played… without feeling and passion… And whenever that happens, our audiences do exactly as they should: they ignore us and our message, or they turn from us in boredom or disgust.”
This is the praxis and loci of the “divided” Church. And while the Church preaches a false salvation, the world drowns in their own self made whirlpool. No one preaches values and morals anymore because they are afraid of offending their congregations; inciting public outrage and courting the ire of the powers that be. After all, who would offend those who are paying them, right? Preachers pacify and classify in order to satisfy. They don’t preach reality they preach maybes. If you’re good maybe you will go to Heaven. And some even go so far as to preach safety, accept Jesus and you’re safe, no matter your lifestyle – so we sanction alternative lifestyles in the church; we are warned not to judge in small matter (as if life and death are small potatoes) and above all, we pander to the fleeting ‘gods’ of materialism as this is the agent provocateur of the age.
We are in the church age of Laodicea. An age of rampant materialism and yet shackled with the pinions of moral and spiritual poverty. Modern churches have done little to stop the tide of materialized propaganda that floods the world. People have fallen to the seductive song of the advertised merchants. People follow the latest fad or craze brought about by clever marketing. Peoples’ musts and demands are created by their own self indulgences and false needs. This is the church’s portrayal to a world sinking in turmoil, chaos and confusion.
The question many are asking – how did the Church become so divided in its ethos, mission and mandate?
The answer is SIMPLE!
It was “infiltrated” by specious forces of evil cloaked in the form of “secret societies”- a cocktail of decadent primordial spirits which has transmorphed over many generations resulting in what we now find ourselves plagued with today.
A careful, systematic, epistemological analysis of the 7 churches of Revelation chapter 2 & 3 clearly show how what is called the “SYNAGOGUE OF SATAN” planted its roots in the 1st church at Ephesus and has weaseled its way down through the dispensations of each church age culminating in Laodicea’s abysmally-moral regurgitated spiritual condition.
Another poignant question asked is why were the 7 churches at Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea selected in this order by Jesus Christ to receive John’s prophetic end-time message?
Within our century, that is the 21st century, Bible prophecy scholars have concluded that these seven churches in Asia Minor were in fact prophesies of seven distinct church periods from John’s day to our day. This view is accepted for this simple reason: the inherent characteristics of each of the seven contemporary churches of Asia Minor can be recognized in seven distinct church periods throughout the past 2,000 years of church history. In fact, from John’s day until our day, as the seven church-types marched West together, each would have its own time slot for domination, each its own Western headquarters and each its own infiltration by a pagan secret society (Daniel J. 2001).
“Christ’s commendation to the church of Ephesus as found in Revelation 2:6 states that “thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.” The Nicolaitans attempted to establish a priesthood within the church for the word in Greek means “to conquer the laity.”
“The early church fathers agree that the Nicolaitans held two serious heretical views:- That an ecclesiastical hierarchy was necessary to control the spiritual training of the laity; and that the spiritual and the physical natures were separate, giving license to sexual sin, the same licentiousness practiced in the heathen temple of Diana.”
“In Acts 20:28-30 Paul prophesied to the Ephesian church that following his death vile men from within their own flock would arise to teach perverse doctrine. Irenaeus, the Greek bishop and eloquent apologist of the city of Lyons during the latter half of the second century, was the first church father to suggest that the leader of the Nicolaitans was the one called Nicholas in Acts 6:5. Nicholas was the last of the seven deacons appointed to distribute food to the widows of the church. This was not a position for a man unable to control his flesh. In quoting bishop Irenaeus on Nicholas as saying “being ashamed of his own remissness Nicholas audaciously pronounced that no one who was not lascivious every day could be partaker of eternal life.”
“Whoever Nicholas was, his followers multiplied at an alarming rate during the second century. Not only did Irenaeus write of them but after him Epiphanius, Theodorit and other church fathers record that the Nicolaitans ‘arrogantly styled themselves Gnostics; that they were superior to Peter and Paul or any of Christ’s other disciples, they alone had drunk of the supreme knowledge, are above principalities and powers, secure of their salvation and for that very reason they claimed that they were free to debauch women or indulge in all manner of licentiousness. They further claimed that this knowledge is of itself perfect redemption and sufficient.’ To this end the Nicolaitans blasphemously talked lewdness to be obligatory as a law and not only lawful but necessary to salvation, not only compatible with the Savior’s religion but an essential part of it.”
“The first part of the Nicolaitans heresy was essential if the second heresy of licentious living was to take root in the church. They lobbied for an ecclesiastical hierarchy to control the spiritual training of the laity. In other words, if the word of God could be taken away from the laity, the priesthood would have total control over its interpretation thus leading the congregation into the same lifestyle of the pagan religions.” [Ibid].
In the 2nd church of Smyrna, Christ ties their awful sufferings to the “Synagogue of Satan”. Zechariah 5 in the Old Testament describes a pagan religion that counterfeits as Jewish. By pagan symbols verse 6 identifies this religion as violent, shrouded in mystery and that it promotes the spiritual resemblance of Solomon’s Temple.
“If Zechariah confirms a counterfeit Satanic Order that doubles as the Temple of Solomon, it certainly could be called a “Synagogue of Satan”. Christ’s profound statement to the Smyrna Christians about this Satanic Order is so important to our understanding that He intended for it to ring in our ears throughout the church age.”
“In Ephesus, for example, the “Synagogue of Satan” attempted to infiltrate the church; in Smyrna it persecuted the church; in Pergamos it successfully infiltrated the church; in Thyatira it ran the church until it was excised in the Inquisitions; in Sardis it funded the Protestant Reformation in an attempt to dethrone the power of the church; in Philadelphia it bowed down at the feet of the church and in Laodicea it turned the church materialistic.” [Ibid]
We have now arrived at the penultimate question of our discourse – what secret society of the past two centuries then can be identified as the Synagogue of Satan?
To answer this question we must look at the most powerful secret society on earth today.
The Scottish Rite of Freemasonry is the governing body of all contemporary secret societies. We can document from Masonic authority that rituals in the Scottish Rite from the 4th to the 33rd degree were all acquired from the Jewish Kabbalah.
Albert Pike, the most renowned 33rd degree Mason of the 19th century, confirms this in his book “Morals and Dogma”:
‘All truly dogmatic religions have issued from the Kabbalah and returned to it. Everything scientific and grand in the religious dreams of all the Illuminati is borrowed from the Kabbalah. All the Masonic associations owe to it their secrets and their symbols. In that ancient and little understood philosophy the initiate will find the source of many doctrines and may in time come to understand the hermetic philosophers, the alchemists and all the anti-papal thinkers of the Middle Ages. Thus, with the Kabbalah was a second Bible born unknown to, or rather, uncomprehended by the Christians’.
“Because rituals in the Scottish Rite have come from the Jewish Kabbalah, the Scottish Rite is known as the Jewish Rite of Freemasonry, however, it is not dominated or controlled by Jews although a small percent of its membership is Jewish. The Scottish Rite is a Gentile controlled order made up of those who say they are Jews and are not ( actual they are LIARS). Mackey’s Encyclopedia of Freemasonry confirms this: “Each lodge is and must be a symbol of the Jewish Temple, each Master in the chair representing the Jewish King and every Freemason a personation of the Jewish workman.” Gentile initiates who make up the bulk of membership in the Scottish Rite Freemasonry are declared Jews upon completion of their initiation.”[Ibid]
The Masonic conspiracy started with the recapture American Protestantism and has since spread across the known world and renders the church impotent in its 8 phases: phase one: build the ranks of Freemasonry in America during civil war; phase two: turn primary and secondary schools in America, which are under the control of parents, into public schools funded by the government but under control of Freemasonry; phase three: control public school teachers through a union controlled by Freemasonry; phase four: infiltrate the church with materialism by creating easy credit through central banking in America; phase five: infiltrate the pastorate with infidels; phase six: infiltrate church congregations with Masons; phase seven: create a Masonic controlled national council of churches to control mainline denominations; phase eight: stack the Supreme Court with Masons who are willing to reinterpret the Constitution so that Christian principles can never be taught in public schools. These eight phases are listed in order as they occurred historically.
In the next instalment we will look at how these ancient mysteries and covenants have created a divided church which remains weak, fragile and dysfunctional and what it will take to awaken this sleeping giant.
