Maybe you are way ahead of me on this but the program is to give stimulus to treating the ailing environment by encouraging Nations all over the world to plant trees. What is happening and being encouraged in many countries Canada included young school aged children are being included in the initiative in helping so they get n understanding at a young age what we are doing to this planet. They are also being taught at the same time about the dangers of littering and polluting.

Premier Dalton McGuinty
of Ontario Canada has funded the planting of 50 million trees in our Province and have visited various schools to promote the initiative.

Given the sorry state of the environment in Barbados with all of the agricultural land being sold and environmentalists crying out about the destruction of rare and mature trees at Batts Rock by Pembertons project you might want to put together your own story and ask people like Pemberton, Sir. Charles Williams and Prime Minister Arthuir why do they not give back a little to the environment by way of this UN venture to at least show Barbados does care! After all surely the healthy and Government can cough up a few thousand dollars and the landscape businesses can also donate trees.

Maybe a small Park might be developed for the purpose. Is that too much to ask of these people?
