SHOULD THERE BE A TERRORIST ATTACK ON THE UNITED STATES, COULD ST. VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES BE EXONERATED?

Submitted by Luzette K

I am calling on all Vincentians at home and abroad to strongly object to the vitriolic attacks that Ralph Gonsalves, Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) is constantly unleashing on the US administration and in particular President Biden in favour of his rogue states and associates, Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua. His constant attack on the US is of no benefit to us, we can only suffer for it.

The sooner we realize this, the better. SVG. is not a friend of the US, it is not an enemy of the US, it is not an associate of the US, it is not an ally of the US, it is part of the US. It may be argued that the greater part of the Vincentian population lives in the US. Vincentians of all walks of life, like all other CARICOM nationals are engaged in a very meaningful way in every facet of American life, administrative and otherwise. For example, (1) Betty Boyea King of Byrea (first cousin to PM Gonsalves), was appointed US Ambassador to the UN under connective US Administrations, led by George Bush Jr. and Bill Clinton, (2) Roy Austin of Rose Place (Bottom Town), Kingstown was appointed US Ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago during the 8 year reign of George Bush Jr.

Should We Ban the Russians or Ban the Comrade?

Submitted by Nathan Green

St Vincent and the Grenadines

With the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we have to instruct our Government that we want nothing more to do with Russia. But unfortunately, for many years, the state of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has been voting with Russia and for Russia at the UN. That has to stop right now.

Due to the Gonsalves Vincentian regime being in bed with Cuba and Venezuela, we support Russia. Ralph Gonsalves [the Comrade] would describe it as solidarity with his allies. Remember those words “his allies”. Because they really should not be regarded as friends or allies of the Vincentian people, they are his communist allies, not ours. SVG is not quite communist yet, but it could be with a bit of extra push from the Gonsalves regime and his dynastical backers.

I have warned the people of SVG on many occasions of the creeping peasantisation of SVG. More people have been reduced to peasant status during the last twenty years than before in Vincentian history.

Russia is clearly in the wrong and has been making veiled threats of using nuclear weapons against any country that intervenes.

This is the second phase of the rebuilding of the Soviet Union.

We must do our part as a nation and ban Russian vessels from our Ports, all their boats and aircraft. We should make that a public statement.

If we have students in Russia, they should be recalled. We must break all ties with Russia.

Also, if the Chinese want to back Putin’s actions, we must ban them; besides, we should stop buying everything Chinese. Hit them in the pocket, along with Russia; they are a grave threat to the World.

We must not vote at the UN in any way that supports or gives Russia comfort, which includes abstention from a vote because that is another form of support.

You will remember how SVG voted at the UN when Russia invaded Crimea. https://www.ieyenews.com/opinion-bought-by-the-chinese-taiwanese-japanese-and-now-the-russianese/

https://www.curacaochronicle.com/post/opinion/rambo-putin-pupitizes-maduro-and-the-caribbean-marxist-leaders/

and this article may be more relevant than ever:-

https://www.mnialive.com/articles/is-a-nation-or-a-man-responsible-for-unleashing-a-biological-war-on-the-world

We should be looking for a statement from Gonsalves that he is sanctioning Russia and any Russian investors in SVG; unless he can tell us he is doing that, it is time for him to pack up and go.

He can now choose to move to Cuba, Venezuela, or Russia.

Once again, it is time for the World to condemn Russia. At the last election, Ralph Gonsalves gave himself the World Boss title. But that is a title that Vladimir Putin wants for himself.

Let us have your input, Comrade, and see what you are made of. Are you World Class or Stinker Class?

Is this Attempted Murder by Strangulation?

Submitted by Nathan J Green

I do not think there is a police officer anywhere in the world today who does not know the dangers of death in making or attempting to arrest by strangulation hold.

In international law, police stranglehold and chokehold strangulation has recently been identified as one of the most lethal forms of violence: unconsciousness may occur within seconds and death –

-within minutes. When violence perpetrators choke (strangle) their victims, not only is this felonious assault, but it may be an attempted homicide. Strangulation is an ultimate form of power and control, where the batterer can demonstrate control over the victim’s next breath; having devastated psychological effects or a potentially fatal outcome.

Please watch the video. The recipient had to be treated at the hospital.

Sober and conscious victims of strangulation will first feel terror and severe pain. If strangulation persists, unconsciousness will follow. Although, before lapsing into unconsciousness, a strangulation victim will usually resist violently, it is an uncontrollable natural reaction to struggle violently, it cannot be said to be resisting arrest. The illegal hold often producing injuries of their neck to claw off the assailant, and frequently also producing damage on the face or hands of their assailant. These defensive injuries may not be present if the victim is physically or chemically restrained before the assault. In addition, victims may lose consciousness by any one or all of the following methods: blocking of the carotid arteries in the neck (depriving the brain of oxygen), blocking of the jugular veins (preventing deoxygenated blood from exiting the brain), and closing off the airway, making breathing impossible.

Very little pressure on both the carotid arteries and veins for ten seconds is necessary to cause unconsciousness. However, if the pressure is immediately released, consciousness will be regained within ten seconds. To completely close off the trachea (windpipe), three times as much pressure (33 lbs.) is required. Brain death will occur in 4 to 5 minutes if strangulation persists.

Be aware that strangulation may cause the following symptoms and consequences: difficulty breathing, raspy, hoarse or loss of voice, coughing, difficulty swallowing, drooling, nausea, vomiting, changes in behaviour, hallucinations, headaches, light headiness, dizziness, urination or defecation, miscarriage, swollen tongue, or lips. These symptoms may be an early indication of an internal injury such as swelling, bleeding, fractured larynx (“voice box”) or hyoid bone, seizures, pulmonary oedema (lungs filled with fluid) or death within 36 hours due to progressive internal injuries and complications. On the other hand, it is possible to survive the assault, regain consciousness, refuse medical treatment, and then die later from undiagnosed or unsuspected fatal injury.

Victims should look for injuries on their face, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, chin, neck, head, scalp, chest, and shoulders, including redness, scratches or abrasions, fingernail impressions in the skin, deep fingernail claw marks, ligature marks (“rope burns”), thumbprint-shaped bruises, blood-red eyes, pinpoint red spots called “petechiae” or blue fingernails. All these injuries change in appearance over time after the assault. Some injuries, like redness, may persist for only a few minutes. Others, like petechiae, persist for days. Observing the changes in these signs over time can significantly determine the nature and scope of internal damage produced during the assault and lend credibility to witness accounts of the force and duration of the assault. In addition, documentation by photographs sequentially for days after the assault is beneficial in establishing a journal of physical evidence.

Those assaulted may be able to have a case against their perpetrator heard in the international court if they can establish that they cannot receive proper justice in their own country.

So, if a police officer knows that and still decides to arrest someone by applying strangulation, they must be guilty of attempted murder. There can be no excuse in saying, Oh! I did not know that because, as a police officer, you should know that.

According to the US and the World media reports [it was even well reported in SVG], George Floyd lost consciousness after a Minneapolis police officer placed him in a chokehold. He later died. I know that you the reader knows that, everyone knows that. If the Vincentian police officer did not know, he should be fired from the force for being grossly ignorant and stupid.

In Saint Vincent, there is far too much police brutality with little care if a person lives or dies at their hands. I suggest that when these police officers conduct themselves so: they be named and shamed in the public media. We give their full names and addresses and tell the public who they are and where they live. What police station they are attached to, along with rank and number. Post their photos in public media and be sure to post everything on Facebook. That I believe will stop this kind of behaviour.

If the Minister in charge of the police fails in his duties in not reprimanding the police chief when his officers get out of control,

then we must do his job for him.

Let us start with the officer in the video who almost killed Mr Carlie John. Anyone who can identify him, please send me the details, everything you know about him –

Days Harvesting Peasants Over

Submitted by Nathan J Green
There are more poor, hungry people in Saint Vincent than at any time ever before.

The Vincentian ULP Government is out of control. With orders from above, unelected bureaucrats armed with arbitrary rules and no need to back them up stonewall and attack Vincentian citizens at every turn. Often bureaucrats and their minions are sent by the political hierarchy to harass and deliberately inflict financial and social damage on citizens unlucky enough to fall foul of what some see as a dictator’s whim or political disfavour. The damage can be overwhelming financially, emotionally, and even physically destructive, sometimes for the whole family. The attempted destruction of the unions, now at their lowest ebb ever, having had all their teeth pulled out.

And who is being held accountable? Government regulation and red tape run amok in Kingstown, and honest, tax-paying citizens are the victims of an administration’s misuse and abuse of power. Hopefully, some Vincentian lawyers who are not unpaid-tax compromised are taking an in-depth look at the legislation that tramples ordinary citizens’ rights, strangling their ability to conduct private, everyday activities without egregious government interference. We must also highlight the outrageous raiding of people’s homes with dubiously obtained search warrants, searches, seizures, and arrests and point to hundreds of regulations that have been added to the books since the ULP took office. Most importantly, we need new charts to direct us from this mess and toward renewed freedom for all Vincentians.

These stories are of everyday Vincentians badgered and harassed by the police and their government — -the very institutions supposed to serve us all. The gross breaches of our constitution are as frightening as they are accurate, and Government Bullies that we have suffered for twenty years are now being scrutinised. This is a call to action for all decent Vincentians.

Because up until now, almost but not entirely, all the Vincentian people have been almost, but not wholly, fooled all the time.

At last, the Vincentian spirit has awoken; people are no longer willing to stand the bullying, the hatred, the spite, and the malicious prosecutions and administration of the law based on falsities and rapidly made-to-fit-laws. Some of the laws are designed to protect politicians and keep them in power, perhaps forever. Spying on the people by politically charged Special Branch, also spying on other political parties. Using the police as a private politically motivated army against all dissenters.

One of the most dangerous things was to opt-out of the PACE Act, which contributed to the loss of SVGS democracy. As a result, police brutality increased a hundredfold.

Squads of politically activated police dressed in fascist black with no identifying numbers. Police dressed in army fatigues and jackboots, playing jungle commandos in the middle of Kingstown. All armed to the teeth, all regime loving, asking how high shall we jump? Beating the public about the head with batons, inflicting serious injuries during protest rallies.

Party faithful and party officials are protected when they commit crimes to be charged for lesser crimes, in lower courts, with charges designed for them to be acquitted or found not guilty. I am, of course, thinking about the police who almost beat a youth to death in the interview room. Then another case, we are waiting for the results of the shooting in the leg of Cornelious John. But, again, the charges against the alleged perpetrators are seen by many as lesser than deserved and designed for acquittal. A young woman committed to the mental home, made to take unwanted treatment of mind-altering drugs because of involvement with a dynasty member.

The people feel let down by lawyers and church leaders who stand by and say nothing whilst all the filth is happening to the people. Lack of comment by the Bar, and the elders of Church’s who are seen to be backing the ULP governments behaviour through their silence. These are professional people from whom the people deserve better. Magistrates willing to go along with the politically motivated court cases.

The year-on-year creep towards a one-party communist police-controlled state must end right now. After that, the people must take back their country, their rights, refurbish and repair their democracy.

The days of harvesting the people to mould into ever forgiving and ever supporting peasants are over. We do not want to be a Cuban or Venezuelan satellite. We want our freedom and rid of what has become a country owned and controlled by a family dynasty. It is over; we are done.

Let us have jobs, investment in industry, proper crime control, prosperity, and peace for all; let us have change. Let us have a government that is dedicated to introducing term limits for leadership positions. Never again to have a “must come back to papa” head of state. Never again allow the introduction of a family dynasty. Let us have full transparency in all matters.

Please let us have a peaceful transition, do not push the people into a corner of violence, they deserve better.

No law if it conflicts with the rights of the citizens under the Constitution is legal.

When the ULP, its Left-wing politicians, and unions blocked the road during the Roadblock Revolution. Ambulances were denied permission to take citizens to Kingstown hospital. As a result, people were dying; babies were born in ambulances, citizens were denied the right to go about their civil rights and liberties as guaranteed under the Constitution.

Ralph Gonsalves is one man, a member of government and parliament, prime minister, and minister in charge of the police. He decries his being denied the right to enter parliament on foot on August 5.

Remember he was involved in the roadblock revolution? Did he or others consider the rights of the dying, the rights of the pregnant mothers? Being an intelligent man, I would be surprised if he didn’t. He considered he had the political right to bring society to a standstill, ignoring the constitutional rights of others and replacing those rights with his own actions, opinions and aims. What happened at the Roadblock Revolution was far worse than anything that recently occurred in Kingstown. The roadblock was unconstitutional, illegal, and morally wrong; it injured many people physically, mentally, and politically. It threatened the whole fabric of Vincentian democracy. Perhaps it was designed to do just that. Even if not, that is what it did.

On August 5, 2021, there was protest loud and rowdy protest by people, many of whom generally knew nothing of supposed laws restricting their gathering, meeting and considered it constitutionally correct to do so. For some, that protest was organised. For others, they joined it unplanned, and passers-by joined in because they agreed with the words of the protesters, the banners, the written posters. The protesters were from all factions of society and political parties, ULP and NDP members and supporters.

The police were obviously prepared for the demonstration, they had obviously been pre-informed if not by the NDP, certainly by their own intelligence that spies on every meeting, including private ones, that the NDP holds. They have been doing that for years reporting back their findings to political masters. They were fully prepared and expectant on the August 5, putting many crowd barriers up, having a large contingency of police officers on duty from every section of the force. The police were armed with batons, which they use on the day to beat people about the head with. They were prepared to lash out and injure the people, but unprepared to be able to protect Ralph Gonsalves when he decided to try and go walk about amidst an angry and furious crowd of demonstrators.

Following that day of protest, NDP members at the protest were raided at their homes by what are seen by many as political Police. The raid victimised, put recipients through a process of humiliation, inconvenience, and intimidation. It turned out to be a fishing trip by the Police, perhaps egged on by their political handlers.

I believe Police used illegally applied for search warrants that were worded in such a way to fool the authorising JP. Every one of the warrants had the reasons for searching the property as “firearms, ammunition, electronics” the Police had no reason or information that “firearms or ammunition” was suspected or believed to be at the places they raided. Of course, these matters may be even worse if the JP signing these warrants knew the reason for including “firearms and ammunition” in the wording of the search warrants and did not object but approved of the inclusion. The real raiding reasons being the gathering of electronics and analysing those people cell phones and laptops. If the magistrate or JP knew that, it would mean they also were part of political support of the action by the Police. An act that is most probably traceable right back to the ULP leadership, if just one person would be truthful instead of taking the forefront in telling multiple identifiable lies over the years. Over the last twenty years, hundreds of Vincentian citizens have had similar if not identically worded search warrants served on them.

Here is one from five years ago, I have more, for different people, all worded the same.

Firearms, Ammunitions, Drugs, electronic items and documents. Investigating the offence of firearms & drugs possession.

The only thing the police took was electronics and documents, which was the only thing they expected to find, the only things the wanted to find.

Should the police be pre-informed of organised meetings, rallies, protests, taking in public places. There is nothing wrong with that because they need to plan for Police to control situations and protect the public. But people should still have the right to instant non-organized sporadic protests. People must have the right of free assembly.

Unfortunately, the Police are defending their political masters, and they have chosen to side with a political party instead of the public.

There is no requirement or reason in our Constitutional law to get or obtain permission from anyone, including the Police, to hold a meeting, rally, or protest. Having to apply for permission is unconstitutional. If you apply, the Police will almost always say no, refuse permission, even ban such meetings from taking place. Those refusals and bans will almost always in SVG be politically motivated. They want to please their political masters. Banning such protests removes the right of the public to protest what they have a right to protest. Refusing and denying is used as a political tool, and for that reason only, the Police happily instigate and support that.

Protests by the people against what is happening in parliament are healthy and vital because it brings the politicians to notice the depth of feeling of the people or sections of the public on subjects and proposed changes in the law.

The rules and laws that demand that people or organisers get permission to hold a meeting in a public place are immoral and unconstitutional. They are designed to stop protests which are a God-given right of every human being.

This is a picture of the actual missile thrown at Gonsalves

Whatever this missile was thrown at Ralph Gonsalves outside parliament on August 5, was thrown by a man, an easily identifiable person. There is a video in the public domain. A news media member published the video. I analysed it frame by frame, and it is evident that the man lobbed a missile, this very missile. Yet the woman arrested for allegedly throwing the missile, in other parts of the same video had no hard object in hand or hands. She was probably detained because she was wearing a yellow NDP T-shirt. She is provably falsely accused, falsely arrested, coerced into making a false statement, coerced into making a false confession, and should be compensated, not prosecuted for something she did not do.

As reported by a politician who witnessed another chase and capture that day. The Police also chased and caught another woman and accused her of throwing the same missile that hit Gonsalves.

They had no idea at the time who threw the missile. The Police failed to protect Gonsalves from an angry crowd. They had to get their brownie points by arresting and prosecuting someone, perhaps not caring even if they have the right person.

The political situation and the control of the Police by politicians is a sour mixture. It has brought about police brutality and Police acting as political enforcers for the Unity Labour Party. The situation is dire. The citizens of SVG are in danger from the very people who should be protecting them.

Please, people in the region, hemisphere, and anyone who can help us, take in what is written here because it is a truthful account. We need help from our traditional allies, the UK, US, EU, UN.

We need your help. We are drowning in left-wing politics that has seen the people brought to a level of poverty that did not even exist at the time of emancipation. We are being stifled in our rights to protest. Protesters are being beaten with truncheons and batons. People are taken to police interview rooms and beaten to extract false confessions; it has been going on for twenty years. People turn up in court with pulped faces and black eyes.

PLEASE!

How it Happened

An Answer to “How did we get here?” by Heide Badenock Posted in annsvg.com 30/06/21

You can put the fall of overall standards in Saint Vincent of every kind down to one person; the decline has taken overall about twenty years.

The problem is it continues to decline with a massively flawed education system producing hundreds of badly educated people every year. Those that succeed regardless are but a few lovely flowers in a sea of underachievers. Please do not mistake me; I am not blaming the children; I blame the leadership and the fraudulent cry of an Education Revolution. Many children simply drop out of education prematurely. Education over, they are either unemployable, or no employment is available.

Usually, investors refuse to invest in a communist influenced country for fear of losing their investment. They have seen what happened in Venezuela, and know we are followers of theirs

There are more poor people in SVG than ever before. There was even a better standard at the end of slavery. There was a better medical system and hospital facilities then than today.

There are more people on poor relief than ever before.

We have seen the purposeful destruction of agriculture. Prime farmlands have been built on. Land at Buccament and Belle Isle a prime example. Farmers are only left with difficult hill lands.

Agriculture was supplied with a beautiful irrigation system; a system destroyed by the failures of one man. It no longer exists.

Banana export destroyed by failure to follow crop spraying norms during the black Sigatoka era. Everything that has taken place has furthered the ruin of agriculture and promoted the switch of people and systems to be reliant on tourism.

Opposition political leaders were beaten up and thrown out of parliament. Causing serious injury to one parliamentarian’s back as he was thrown down the stairs.

Wages have not followed inflation; dollar on dollar, people earn half as much as twenty years ago. I am not talking about amounts of money; I am talking about buying power; their dollar buys far, far less than twenty years ago. People are far worse off than they should be under a right-thinking regime of real Vincentian lovers. Instead of the false love of left-wing tyrants that we have currently been landed with.

Embracement of Marxism, Stalinism, Chavesism, Castroism, all the people who the world would have been a much better place without. One man’s warped ideals imposed on an unsuspecting nation.

The people are unknowingly paying tax on tax on tax. It all starts at the import shed, where the customs charge importers huge duties and taxes on behalf of the government. Then, of course, the importer passes that on to the next buyer. After that, the people pay VAT on what they buy, and eventually, the public buys something that has risen in cost three times. Remember they even put VAT on salt, never heard of anywhere else in the modern world.

Who must we blame for all this? The answer is. One man must bear full responsibility. I do not even need to call his name. Everyone knows who I am writing about without any clue from me.

Middle-class people can never be made into peasant class communists. But in SVG they had the formula for doing just that. It took twenty years to destroy much of SVG’s middle class. Many eventually joined the unemployed, others melted away and moved abroad. It took twenty years to make many people reliant on the government for handouts and not to do anything for themselves. Now there are many young people who have never had a job, and unless they strike lucky, will never work in their lifetime.

It took twenty years to turn fierce Vincentians into cowardly pussycats. It had to happen that way for this regime to stay in power; they hope forever. But there must be a continuity of top family leadership for forever to happen, so a dynasty has been created; it is already in place and operating.

The result of creeping pauperism has been in building a two-tier society. The people at the top protected by the regime from prosecution can literally get away with murder; they can do just about anything illegal with little consequence. As has recently been demonstrated, they can trespass on the property of others and shoot people with little or no consequences. In contrast, the new peasant society with no rights are just punching and shooting fodder for the police, and for anyone in the proletariat of this contemporary society to regard as open season game to hunt and abuse, a time to have fun without consequence. Even rape charges in leadership dismissed by the DPP.

We have seen businesspeople destroyed, multiple raids by police with illegally gotten search warrants issued by tame Justices of the Peace. Young women abused, and raped, young women used as a plaything, a sex toy, and eventually sent to the mental home to be pumped up with sedatives and mind-altering drugs. Many of the peasant class appearing in courts after police interviews with faces battered and bruised.
The police take the view it is their duty to beat confessions from the accused in the interview room. They shoot first and ask questions afterwards, so if people run, they use the gun. They are also known to take people they have picked up into the mountains, to dump them, making them walk many miles home.

The whole system is affected; the magistery, the police, the DPP’s office, the judicial system has become answerable to just one man.

Many of the countries lawyers and barristers frightened to speak out less they get a 4 am knock on their door from the Tax Department and the Black Squad goons, an arm of the political police. They were warned about being tax cheats, some paying no tax at all. So, you can understand why they stand by and say or do nothing. There are a handful who do not fall into the category of being able to be blackmailed into being frightened.

People have died in questionable circumstances; people have disappeared too. The common denominator being politics. One of the biggest taboos seem to have been to change party loyalties, to go over to the opposition, that seems to have brought death to several. One of the strangest deaths which was indeed murder was that of Glenn Jackson.

The Religious leaders are cowering in the corner of their churches, not just from the fear of a man, but of a fear of losing their tax-free status, along with the ability to import whatever they want duty free. Thus, the nation has been sold out by the very people in whom they put their trust. These people have sold us all out for a few shekalim.

How will it end? Like during many past such events in the world, we must hope that the pussycats transform into tigers and take back what belongs to them, freedom, employment, and prosperity.

It will be a shame if the people eventually take to violent revolution. Please keep in mind people, peaceful protest and peaceful methods are the best route.

The Volcano is Going Off!

Submitted by Nathan’ Jolly’ Green

The volcano is going off! what volcano is going off? They are all going off!

The volcano is going off, what volcano is going off? They are all going off. What do you mean they are all going off? When that last happened in 1816, it created the Year Without Summer and almost brought the end to all humanity.

Vincentians know what is happening in their back yard, and often in their neighbours. But currently, Saint Vincent is in such turmoil with people running frightened from the COVID 19 virus; few look over the neighbours’ fence anymore in fear of catching the COVID. Vincentians know that La Soufrière is erupting, but all the others in the world who cares.

Around the world currently, most of the volcanos are in some state of eruption. They are all smoking, rumbling, or fully erupting. We lack the final piece in the 1816 year without summer equation, Indonesia’s Mount Tambora erupting explosively.

In April of 1815, Mount Tambora exploded in a powerful eruption that killed tens of thousands of people on the Indonesian island of Sumbawa. The following Year 1816 became known as the “year without a summer” when icy, wet conditions swept across Europe and North America in August.

The Year 1816 is known as the Year Without a Summer (also the Poverty Year and Eighteen Hundred and Froze to Death) because of severe climate abnormalities that caused average global temperatures to decrease by 0.4–0.7 °C (0.7–1 °F). Summer temperatures in Europe were the coldest on record between the years of 1766–2000. This resulted in significant food shortages across the Northern Hemisphere.

Evidence suggests that the anomaly was predominantly a volcanic winter event caused by the massive 1815 eruption of Mount Tambora in April in the Dutch East Indies (known today as Indonesia). This eruption was the largest in at least 1,300 years (after the hypothesized eruption causing the extreme weather events of 535–536), and perhaps exacerbated by the 1814 eruption of Mayon in the Philippines.

With most of the Worlds volcanos making activity from 1800 causing cumulative upper atmosphere contamination, that in 1815/1816 the upper atmosphere was densely contaminated with ash and debris which blocked out the sun. Everything needs the sun to grow, needs the sun to live. But 1816 saw a year of little sun and a year-long winter. In August in New York, Frost and snow and freezing fogs, people starved around the world as crops failed, no wheat, and bread riots in Switzerland. People in the East Coast US marched across the country having heard it was a little warmer on the West Coast. Domestic farm animals were dying no food, no grains, no vegetables. Wild animals and birds stopped breeding, stopped replacing those that were dying by the millions. Had the intense volcanic activity continued for another two or three years and continued to exclude the sun. It would have most certainly been the end of humanity.

But back to the matter in hand, you can stop looking over the neighbour’s fence. Let us look again at the current evolving eruption of Saint Vincent’s Mount Soufrière. What is the worst that can happen?

Massive eruptions bring massive lightning storms, a deposit of ash that blocks rivers and closes off roads. Bridges fail due to the rivers’ blockage. The rivers in Saint Vincent are traditionally poorly maintained almost always containing lots of dead trees and debris, mix that with volcanic ash, and pop goes the bridges. Landslides block roads; roads collapse; people are stranded, no escape. Do we have to wait for all that before we attempt to evacuate our people from a situation that would prove impossible and the people may perish?

So why not rescue the people in case a tragedy unwraps, how about evacuation just in case? How about evacuation as a precaution? How about evacuation right now?

One of the most significant strains on the Vincentians’ minds living in the red and yellow zone is not knowing if or when not knowing the evacuation plan. Not knowing the meeting points, what they should bring and how to get there. No trial run of evacuation, no test run, no information, can you imagine how that plays on these people’s minds.

For the government to wait until something happens before they move into action, really may be just too late. Tell the people the whole plan, tell them now, they are not children, tell them, comrade. Give every one of them written instructions.

Saint Vincent Judas Style

Submitted by Nathan ‘Jolly’ Green

Let us discuss Judas Law, Judas Politics, and Judas Business. The Vincentian Judas syndrome. Pontious Pilate and Herod were murderous statesmen, but unlike today’s political leaders they were then and are now historically called statesmen.

Today in Saint Vincent, few political leaders can be classed as statesmen or even stateswomen. Today’s Saint Vincent leader is little more than a flatulent hog, bloated with food and severely damaging the worlds ozone layer.

Saint Vincent has been ruled for twenty years by a man who has helped more than any other Vincentian himself and his family, to destroy the kindness and the traditional Vincentian way of life. He has created a family dynasty’s root structure to continue his ruling behaviour into the mist-shrouded future.

As the prime minister, he has created all sorts of nasty traits in his image, attributes, and behaviour mirrored, copied, and emulated by young people who are easily moulded, convinced, that nasty is better than nice. Wrong is better than right.

None of the grandparents of today’s adults would have elected Ralph Gonsalves, he was in the wilderness for years, hated by housewives, classed as a communist moron for the better part of his early political life. Local newspapers chat pages were full of anti-Gonsalves rhetoric. Stories that were not written by politicians or academics but by little old grandpa’s and grandma’s, ordinary Vincentian folk who wanted none of the left-wing rubbish growing like cancer in the country’s womb at the time.

Most of our grandparents hated him; some even feared him and his communist-style politics. They would never have elected him in a million years; local Vincentian newspaper columns were always full of comments by those folk condemning and calling him nasty names. They saw a threat in him being head of government, leading the government, even being a member of parliament (MP) as a definite no. No.

How then did we end up with someone who was unliked and mistrusted by the old folk?

That was a part of the early introduction of the Judas syndrome introduced into Saint Vincent by such rotten characters as Vincent Beache. He entered politics in 1972 when he was defeated in the North Central Leeward constituency by Victor Cuffy of the People’s Political Party (PPP). After that, Beache was to win the seat on the next three elections held on 1974,1979, and 1984, twice trouncing Ralph Gonsalves and Victor Cuffy. Vincent Beache was indeed a Judas character; he sold out the Labour Party of Saint Vincent to a party with communist leaders, people who could not get elected. Gonsalves at the time was part of the MNU leadership and that political party had Leninist Communist ideals. The membership was all rank supporters of Karl Marx and loved Cuba, the revolution, and dreamt of being Vincentian Castro figures.

So how did Judas Beache sell out our country of decency to a rag and tag collection of young want to be revolutionaries? It was not difficult, and history has shown it was a sell-out and not a giveaway by the Judas. Vincent Beache was honoured to such an extent for his service to the communist cause that he spent all the years up to his death almost, reaping the profits of his Judas actions.

The Unity Labour Party (ULP) was founded in 1994 by a merger of the Movement for National Unity (MNU) and the Saint Vincent Labour Party (SVLP) with Vincent Beache as its leader. The MNU was a communist stronghold party, which was never a stronghold, more like an unwanted weak-hold party. A party of Castroites and people who wanted to change Saint Vincent into a Marxist monster world.

At the end of the contentious 1998 general election, when polling results giving the New Democratic Party (NDP) eight seats and the ULP seven seats were announced, Vincent Beache declared that he could not accept the outcome and called for fresh elections, alleging voter intimidation, fraud, and bribery. The NDP promptly rebutted this.

Vincent et al. Judas Beache resigned as leader of the ULP in 1998 after doing a secret deal with Ralph Gonsalves, making way for Dr Gonsalves to assume leadership of the party.

But when Gonsalves apposed Vincent Beache, prior to the deal, he used some of these words against him. Vincent Beache is a coconut bat. Vincent Beache is just an electrician. Vincent Beache, dirty beach. Yet after all that he recommended Beache to be bestowed a Knighthood, for service to the Vincentian people, which it turned out was a service to Ralph Gonsalves.

When the ULP was elected to office in March 2001, Beache was returned as Member of Parliament for South Windward. Despite all the previous name calling Gonsalves fully embraced Beache. Although Beache knew nothing whatsoever about the subject, he was made, under the Gonsalves leadership, Minister of National Security, and put in charge of the Public Service and Airport Development in the Gonsalves’ ULP administration of 2001 – 2005. He also acted as Prime Minister at various times between 2001 and 2005.

Vincent Beache resigned from Government and active politics before the general elections of 2005, vacating his seat in South Windward where his son, Glen Beache successfully replaced him.

In retirement Ralph Gonsalves ensured Beache remained active in public life, serving as a close advisor to Prime Minister Gonsalves and on the boards of several Government-owned companies and organizations. He was credited with responsibility for the construction of the Belle Isle prison. Also, he drove the process for the establishment of the Eastern Caribbean Civil Aviation Authority (ECCAA) while contributing to the establishment of the Argyle International Airport (AIA), the Canouan jet airport and many other important initiatives like the Campden Park Industrial Estate. The rewards had started to flood in; he earned more money from politics than he ever dreamed possible. A grateful Ralph Gonsalves heaped every position of financial gain potential on Judas Beache.

The biggest Judas triumph was in 2002 when Vincent Beache was awarded the Knight Commander of the Order of St Michael and St George (KCMG) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for distinguished public service. Recommended to the Governor-General for knighthood by Ralph Gonsalves and the Judas now became known as Sir Vincent Beache. Most of us who follow politics know the only distinguished service emanated from Beache was shown to only one Vincentian, it was Ralph Gonsalves that benefited from Vincent Beache. Gonsalves without Beach would have been a political failure all his life. Beache never stopped benefitting from the Judas action of passing the leadership of the ULP to Ralph Gonsalves.

The people of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, well perhaps not the Grenadines, because the old and wise in the Grenadines knew and recognized the truth and never accepted the communist MNU now cloaked, shrouded from view, and known as the Unity Labour Party. But those Labour supporters from Saint Vincent island were sold a pup and never recognized it, they thought, and still think the ULP is a labour party when it is a communist party, organised and controlled by a communist leadership. A party that has spent two decades actively working and whittling away Vincentians’ rights and privileges to bring them into line with the ULP model, Cuba.

Today even more people cannot live without state handouts, three times more getting national benefits. Despite that, there are still people going hungry, more people without work, and no youth jobs. But all that we must expect when we are the subjects of a bloodless revolution, a peaceful transition to being a fully-fledged communist state. Most of the poor must expect to be put to some severe hardships during the transition.

Many middle-class have fled to the US, Canada, and the UK. They are the lucky ones; they can expect a better life beyond the reach of the Judas principles and the Communist League of Nations registered ULP government.

Those of us left to fight Saint Vincent’s left and their hero nations, Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, North Korea and all the rogue states everywhere whose principles are based on rigged elections, bought elections, stolen elections, even no elections, using dirty military and dirty police to help achieve dirty Judas governments. We must never give up the fight in ridding SVG of its Judas Judiciary, Judas Police, and Judas Government. Remembering how they came to power with Judas politicians’ help, we must persevere in telling what we see, what we hear, and what we believe.

It is time to become even more anti-communist revolutionary and reject our affiliation to Cuba, Venezuela, and all those other Judas states. Perhaps it is time for us to have our bloodless revolution, but decent, honest Judas hating people do not work like that.

The great thing about life is that it is eventually self-cleansing, death of Judas leaders ultimately relieves the world of the Judas syndrome bringers. We have seen the end of several Judas leaders, Castro, Chavez, Beache, and soon because he cannot live forever, Ralph Gonsalves. The latter may already be well on the path to goodbye due to his excessive eating, gorging like every meal is the last supper, his last meal, perhaps it is, maybe it is!

Plantation Owner Bull Whips the Minds of his Black Workers

Submitted by Nathan ‘Jolly’ Green

Over the last twelve months, I put together a collection of schemes and projects that could have assisted and perhaps even been the future saviour of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. I put them to a member of the NDP and asked him not to use them before being elected because Gonsalves would adopt them himself to get re-elected.

1/ Crime: A scheme that would guarantee between 25 and 50% reduction in crime.

2/ Agriculture: A major US agricultural corporation ready to invest knowhow and infrastructure in SVG and put every Vincentian farmer back to work and back into the upper-middle-income class.

3/ Industrial: A light engineering assembly plant with jobs approaching 1500, some for intellectuals in the R&D department.

4/ Infrastructure: A previously pre-proven type scheme to protect the Grenadine Islands from water inundation by climate warming and to immediately recover and save Salt Whistle Bay.

All these schemes will now be scrapped because SVG has proven to me they are incapable of controlling, introducing, and mastering such projects by the very fact that they have re-elected the ULP for a further term of five years. Such action will put them in line to follow Venezuela down the road to treachery and bankruptcy. I had already warned and demonstrated to the investing corporations that their investments would be at risk if the leadership of the previous twenty years were re-elected. None of them will now come because they cannot risk their shareholder’s investment.

This morning I wrote to all the players in my saving SVG scheme, they have all agreed not to come to SVG or invest here due to this communist-style ULP government being re-elected.

I had wrongly believed that the Vincentian people could not be bought this time around.

But that was a grave mistake on my part. The pre-election bribery was in full force again as it has been during all the previous four elections. Lumber, galvanise, and cement was distributed to Labour supporters. Little envelopes with $50 or/and $100 passed around the villages. A red T shirt with a $500 note inside. A man caught having voted in a constituency illegally. Talk of a ballot box discovered when delivered containing pre-filled ballot papers, which means that type of fraud probably went undetected all over the island again.

To sum it all up, the Vincentian people who will suffer the most will be the ULP supporters because they are among the poorest of the State. How they could vote ULP when they and their family are hungry, malnourished and without a job, I cannot even start to square in my own mind. But we all know the saying, you get what you wish for, and perhaps deserve.

Not entirely true because the NDP supporters wished for change and deserve better, but over the next five years they like the ULP supporters will experience much worse conditions.

You cannot run a country how SVG has been run for the last twenty years and survive unless of course, Vincentians get wages like what Cubans and Venezuelans get. Some Cuban wages are about EC$60 a week, and in the lower jobs, they get that a month. Venezuelans are 90% unemployed, and those working get about the same as the Cubans, perhaps a little less. But even that is a sign of failure; many Vincentians will not even survive the fall and downdraft of the downward spiral during the next five years.

It is a shame that there are so many easily bought ignorant backward people in Saint Vincent, but those of that category will most certainly suffer the most. This class of person is more likely to rob and be robbed, kill, and be killed, murder and be murdered, rape and be raped, and spend many years incarcerated. All of that will get many times worse, violent crime is out of control. The ULP created poor people will suffer most, such a crying shame.

The NDP supporters are generally business owners, and most others have jobs. I hope they can survive another five years, but unfortunately some will fall into the pit of hell that ULP supporters just dug for the Nation when they re-elected the ULP.

Will Saint Vincent be recoverable after this coming next five years? Perhaps, but I doubt it, SVG will more likely become a total shithole country as the comrade has described some other countries. Or worse than that it may become a mirror image of Venezuela.

I will not be around for the next elections, so I will not be putting any effort into bringing projects to SVG again. My time for helping has now passed.

I cannot accept politicians with dirty hands right up to the elbows, so those of you who do not care about that, bad luck Karma will pre-empt your every move during the next five years.

Bad Luck to those who deserve it, and goodbye to all others.

Time to Put Saint Vincent and the Grenadines First

Submitted by Nathan Green

The Vincentian people are sick and tired of being put in second, third, or fourth place by Ralph Gonsalves and the Unity Labour Party.

In first place is Cuba, in second place Venezuela, it is a tossup who occupies the third and fourth place, but it certainly is not SVG, perhaps his family and dynasty occupy those places. But it is the ignorant and the paid Vincentian collaborators who have allowed this to happen.

The Cubans were paid enormous amounts of money to build Argyle International Airport [AIA]. But unlike a commercial contractor, no formal agreement existed. That was a significant loss to SVG because AIA was a three to a four-year project, which took the Cubans nine years to complete. Had that of been a commercial contractor with a commercial contract, the overrun time would have been penalised under the terms of the contract for overrun time. If those penalties existed, I doubt if there would have been overrun.

But the same thing happened to the new specialist hospital at Kingstown. Cubans built it, and again there was a 5-year overrun. Today they are involved in running it, whilst our nurses must find work abroad.

Remember, time is money, when there is an overrun on a project, it means that the lateness of completion causes a loss of revenue and loss of use of the facility. In the case of the clinic, perhaps loss of Vincentian life because the Kingstown hospital does not have the same facilities that Georgetown has.

Employing Cubans via the Cuban government is tantamount to slavery, accompanied by money laundering and trafficking. Those Cubans who worked in SVG, and who are currently working in SVG were not and are not paid directly. SVG pays the Cuban government, who then pay the Cubans about 20% of those payments, keeping the 80%. They did not even pay them their little part of the money in Saint Vincent; they paid them in Cuba. That, of course, meant they had no opportunity of spending their wages in Saint Vincent.

There was no job at all that a Vincentian in SVG or from the diaspora could not have done that a Cuban did. The difference being all those multi-millions paid to the Cubans, instead of being spent by the workers in Cuba or snatched by the Cuban government, would have been spent in SVG. The damage this did to our economy is unbelievable.

Last year a complaint by ‘Prisoners Defenders’ sent on May 10, 2019, to the United Nations a formal complaint with all the evidence and 110 testimonies, two United Nations Special Rapporteurships, the Special Rapporteurship on contemporary forms of slavery, including its causes and consequences, and the Office of the Special Rapporteur on trafficking in persons, especially women and children, are taxative when condemning the facts, and have indicated in an extensive report that “the reported working conditions could rise to forced labour, according to the forced labour indicators established by the International Labor Organization. Forced labour constitutes a contemporary form of slavery.”

Also, they indicate how Cuba’s legislation punishes with eight years in prison for doctors if they decide to change jobs or not returning to Cuba, and how they are prevented from seeing family members, or how contracts are withheld, or how more than 75% is confiscated from the doctor’s income, which “does not allow them to live with dignity“, or how Cuba makes them work more than “64 hours per week“ (160% of the maximum authorised by the ILO), how they have restricted and monitored their freedom of movement and the right to privacy or communications with nationals or foreigners, or how professionals reported receiving regular threats from Cuban state officials in destination countries and how Cuban medical women have suffered sexual harassment, among many other violations that the U.N. reports as happening by both received information submitted and “first-hand information”.

The complaint to which this procedure responds was drafted and filed by ‘Prisoners Defenders’, a European organisation whose leaders are European, and this complaint initiative was funded entirely by the person of its President, Javier Larrondo. ‘Prisoners Defenders’ detaches in this complaint any motivation except respect for human rights.

Cuba has NOT responded (consulted the publication on 06/01/2019 at 14:33 Madrid time), assuming with its lack of response what in the international legal system is called the “tacit acceptance of the accusations”, or “qui siluit quun loqui et decuit et protuit, consentire videtur ”, that is, if he who can and should speak does not do so, it must be concluded that he consents.

The United Nations Report, which says that the Cuban government are acting illegally.

Contemporary slavery, also known as modern slavery or neo-slavery, refers to institutional slavery that continues to occur in present-day society. Estimates of the number of slaves today range from around 21 million to 46 million, depending on the method used to form the estimate and the definition of slavery being used. The estimated number of slaves is debated, as there is no universally agreed definition of modern slavery; those in slavery are often difficult to identify, and adequate statistics are often not available. The International Labour Organization [ILO] estimates that, by their definitions, over 40 million people are in some form of slavery today. 24.9 million people are in forced labor, of whom 16 million people are exploited in the private sector such as domestic work, construction or agriculture; 4.8 million persons in forced sexual exploitation, and 4 million persons in forced labor imposed by state authorities. 15.4 million people are in forced marriage.

The United States about a year ago called on all nations to stop using Cuba’s medical missions, which send doctors around the world, saying that Cuba refused to pay the medical staff what they earned and held them against their will.

Cuba’s international medical missions are a form of human trafficking and modern slavery, U.S. State Department officials told a news conference in New York.

The Cubans have a health service that generates significant export earnings by sending more than 50,000 health workers to more than 60 countries. Those workers are under guard, passports removed, paid only part of what they earn whilst the Cuban government keeps the majority. They are in very real terms modern day slaves, of a slave master State.

In Brazil, President Jair Bolsonaro last year called the Cuban doctors “slave labour”, and Cuba in retaliation recalled its 8,300 medical workers stationed there.

Ms Ramona Matos, a Cuban doctor, seeking asylum in the U.S., confirmed it was slavery when she said she worked with medical missions in Bolivia and Brazil where Cuban security agents took away the doctors’ passports and other identification leaving them undocumented. They had no identity cards or papers; if anything happened to them, nobody would know who they were.

Nearly all the doctors’ earnings [only 20%of the real] were sent back to Cuba where they were frozen in accounts that they could not access until they completed their missions, she said. All of this, of course, designed to try and stop them from running away.

There is no doubt under the Cuban system, doctors and nurses were being trafficked, they are victims exploited and used by the Cuban government as slaves. They are still subjected to this treatment in Saint Vincent; we have a multitude of Cubans working here in SVG, all slaves of the Cuban government, trafficked to Saint Vincent to satisfy the political beliefs and wishes of Ralph Gonsalves, his way of helping the Cuban communist party and government.

The U.S. State Department has been carefully analysing where Cuban missions are practising, which is in at least 66 countries. One of those countries is Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, where the prime minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves is a Cuba system believer and is said by some to have been awarded a Cuban Communist Party honorary membership.

The U.S. government has publicised its criticisms of the Cuban medical missions so those host countries such as SVG “can’t say they weren’t aware that this was human trafficking.

An OAS report that Carlos Trujillo U.S. ambassador to the Organization of American States, said Nations where the Cuban medical missions are working need to end the practice. “Across the Americas, there are multiple countries that continue to have these programs,” he said.

Ambassador Trujillo said, “What we’re asking here is for a lot of the countries … who are continuing to traffic and conduct this type of activities with Cuban doctors in their countries to please stop.” But that has had no effect on Ralph Gonsalves of SVG, he loves the system and cannot wait to be made a hero by the Cubans.

SVG blatantly continues to receive trafficked Cubans and is fully aware of how the Cuban government keep their wages and pay them small wages in Cuba. We have a lot of trafficked Cuban slaves doing the work owed to Vincentians. Nearly 50% of Vincentian people without jobs, 45% of our youth unemployed, and we are giving those jobs to Cuban slaves because our prime minister says so?

Our people are enslaved in mind in SVG, no jobs, no work, and a below poverty payments to live on. They seem to be viewed as a nuisance; the leaders may even think they would be better off without them.

Several ex-Cuban doctors who were part of Cuba’s work abroad program, who fled and are now in the U.S., have filed a federal lawsuit in Florida against the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO). This international agency brokered Cuba’s arrangement with Brazil. The doctors said PAHO, a division of the World Health Organization, was enabling the trafficking of medical professionals.

It is time that the U.S. thought about sanctioning the people in SVG responsible for employing the Cuban slaves, the trafficked, the Cuban victims of the Cuban government. It is time for paying reparations to the Cuban slaves, but first, they must be emancipated, and the slave masters punished.

Then perhaps under a new Vincentian government under a genuinely responsible government, we can make SVG number one and get our people back to work.
