Chlorine is added to our drinking water supply to kill microbes. Chlorine can also kill humans, but is designed to be at a safe concentration by the time it discharges from our faucets. The safe standards that we use are not our own – we simply adopt those published by the World Health Organisation.

I am responsible for keeping my body in good health; therefore, I only drank coconut water. I tended to drink about six bottles each week. It used to cost $12 per half-gallon bottle before COVID when I started, but the price kept increasing with the increased demand. This week, the fellows on the side of the road were selling a half-gallon bottle of coconut water for $17.

FREE-MARKET ECONOMY.

I decided that this fellow had likely priced himself out of the market since the neighbouring coconut vendor a few metres away would likely take his customers. However, before I could explain to him the principles of a free-market economy, the vendor, sensing my gaze and correctly guessing my thoughts, explained that everyone on the road was now selling at the same higher price.

I purchased one bottle from him and one bottle from the neighbouring vendor to verify his claim. I then checked to see if the price of plastic bottles had increased, and I understand that they did increase during COVID to about $1.75 but the price per bottle has returned to about $1.05.

CORRECTING A DISTORTED MARKET.

A free-market economy depends on competition. If there is anti-competitive price-fixing by independent vendors, then this is illegal in Barbados since it violates Section 33 of the Fair Competition Act. However, it is unlikely that the authorities will intervene to correct this market distortion – because it may not look good politically to be going after coconut vendors.

Educated customers can allow the market to correct itself by reducing the demand, but in Barbados, that too is unlikely – based on past customer behaviour and what can only be explained as intentional damage to our educational system.

AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE.

For clarity, do coconut vendors have a right to increase their cost of coconut water? Of course. They can increase it to $1,000 a bottle if they wish. But a fair competitive market will soon bring them to their senses. Do independent coconut vendors have a right to fix the price of coconut water in Barbados? No. That is illegal. However, the price fixing is not illegal if the vendors are affiliated.

As for me and my health, I have decided to: (i) reduce the coconut-water demand by reducing the number of bottles I purchase to two per week, (ii) drink filtered water that removes chlorine, and (iii) plant coconut trees so that I am not dependent on a distorted market. This train has been allowed to run-away for far too long – time to step off before the foreseen wreck.

  1. As far as I know, there is such a thing as too much coconut water.

But…..what was this offering about, may I ask?

  2. Agree Grenville preferred style of writing in the parabolic makes consumption challenging for some.

  3. Grenville’s point basically uses coconut water as an example.

In other words we as consumers must decide what is a fair price based on inflation and price gouging. It’s a matter of demand and consumption in his view, with us needing to use our wallet as the weapon for Fairness in the end.

So are we overpaying because we consume in excess, or are we as they say living above our means?

At least that’s how I interpret it. Lol

  4. $2.98 each at Walmart in Toronto.

  5. Where is the source of the coconut water?

    I understand coconuts are imported!!

Heard St. Lucia was the source and years ago some Closed Brethren fellows I know were looking to exploit the St. Vincent source but brother Ralph’s kickback scheme was too costly.

Check the supply chain of the coconut water, not the bottles.

I can’t see Barbados producing the quantities of coconuts that are being consumed.

Do Not Buy It, Bajans need to take a stand sometimes, it is shameful that all they do is complain and then continue to purchase the over priced items. Boycott the coconut vendors until this behavior is regulated.

  7. Grenville is perfectly correct but as usual because he is talking common sense the rest of you go out of your way to disagree with him and pull down every sensible thing he has to say. I have observed that every time he posts.

Some of you went down rabbit holes and totally departed from the point.

That being: You can KILL the golden goose. I don’t live there anymore but I cannot imagine paying $17.00 for a bottle of coconut water. In my day we would have said that is highway robbery. “the LOVE of money is the root of all evil” not the money – the LOVE of it – GREED.

With regards to chlorine and Grenville hasn’t even mentioned fluoride he is perfectly right. I distill my water. The powers that be want to kill us and they are looking for every conceivable way – in our food, in our water, spraying chemicals on us from the air, weapons of mass destruction (you all may know them as covid vaccinations which either will kill you or injure you for life).

It is time to wake up people and realize that we have some very serious issues to face and stop burying our heads in the sand. This is a worldwide issue and it is THEM against US. It is no longer a “black” and “white” issue: It is a SURVIVAL issue.

Yes as Grenville said we had all better step off the train quick and realize the gravity of the situation we find ourselves in and instead of fighting each other find unity.

  8. Dear me! My first point was an aside, alerting that replacing all water with coconut water may not be as healthy as some think.

And then I asked a question – what exactly was the point of the offering?

David acknowledged that the style could be challenging for some. John A offered his interpretation for me.

Who exactly has disagreed with Grenville so far?

    Steupse!

  9. Donna: You love a noise.

    Steupse.

  10. @BAJAN IN EXILE September 1, 2024 at 5:17 pm “The powers that be want to kill us and they are looking for every conceivable way – in our food, in our water, spraying chemicals on us from the air, weapons of mass destruction (you all may know them as covid vaccinations which either will kill you or injure you for life).”

It makes no sense for the powers that me to kill us. We the consumers/taxpayers are the geese which lay the golden eggs of tax payments and the purchasing of goods. So go ahead and kill us then, and see who is going to pay taxes and buy goods.

It is real real hard to get rich if all your customers are all dead, dead, dead.

Equally hard to collect taxes from dead people.

  11. I don’t think that $17 for half a gallon of coconut water is unreasonable. Harvesting coconuts is not like a desk job. A person can fall from a coconut tree. The job requires long hours in the hot sun, and sometimes in the rain. Since most vendors operate from the side of the road they breath in far more vehicle exhaust than the average desk jockey. Then there is the cost of transportation, bottles, tools for opening the coconuts, soap water and detergent for washing their heavily soiled work wear.

  12. So wunna know by now that I always have a story. So a coconut crew was stealing our coconuts, not that many, maybe about 12 bunches a year, with maybe 12-15 on each bunch. but they never said let we pick 4 bunches and leave one for the old fools. No. They tek all, and one day the same guys tried to sell a bottle of coconut water to a sibling who recognized one of the gentlemen. The sale did not go through.

  13. And like Donna, I question the wisdom of drinking 3 gallons of coconut water per week. In fact I question the wisdom of drinking 3 gallons of anything except plain water per week.

I filter my water at home and I drink that. I rarely buy bottled water of any kind because I think that we already have way too much plastic in this small space. and too may people just toss the plastic bottles out of car and bus windows. In the short gap where I farm I recently picked up 48 pieces of mostly plastic, but some glass and metal, none of which had been put there by me.

  14. @Grenville “If there is anti-competitive price-fixing by independent vendors, then this is illegal in Barbados since it violates Section 33 of the Fair Competition Act.”

Illegal only if there is collusion to fix prices. But it is unlikely that the coconut vendors have board meetings and take minutes of meetings as such. So it may be difficult to prove that collusion has taken place.

FOR THE NAYSAYERS, PROPONENTS & “OTHERS” – HERE IS THE ESTABLISHED NUTRACEUTICAL BASED SCIENCE, GIVEN THAT AS #Afrikans WE HAVE CONSUMED THIS BEVERAGE FOR MILLENNIA & THOSE WHO OCCUPIED THE POLYNESIAN ISLANDS DID THE SAME SINCE ROMAN TIMES

Some needless “ARGUMENTS” accrue over whether H2O2 is better than H3O2 – given that “WATER-BASED LIQUIDS DERIVED FROM PLANT SOURCES” is a term used to describe a “HYPOTHETICAL” structure of water molecules, often referred to as “HEXAGONAL WATER” or “STRUCTURED WATER”…

THIS CANNOT BE PRODUCED FROM YOUR WATER TREATMENT PLANT

The theoretical background concept of H3O2 was popularized by Dr Gerald Pollack, a bioengineering professor who proposed the existence of a “FOURTH DIMENSIONAL PHASE TO WATER”, which he called the “EXCLUSION ZONE” (EZ)!!!

According to Pollack, the EZ is thought to occur near “HYDROPHILIC SURFACES”, where water molecules organize into a structured, hexagonal arrangement. However, this idea is still highly speculative & requires further research needing to confirm the hypothesis…

Some proponents of H3O2 claim that it has unique properties, such as:

    (1) Improved hydration & absorption by the body
    (2) Enhanced biological activity & cellular function
    (3) Anti-inflammatory & antioxidant effects
    (4) Ability to remove heavy metals & toxins from the body

However, many scientists & experts argue that H3O2 is NOT* a recognized phase of water & that its supposed properties are not supported by empirical evidence – BUT CAN THE SAME BE SAID ABOUT THE COVID-19 “so-called” VACCINE???

The scientific consensus is that water molecules (H2O) do not form a stable, hexagonal structure with [3] hydrogen atoms bonded to [2] oxygen atoms (H3O2)…

OUR DEAR BRUH, #DrGrenvillePhillipsII may be on to something here – as “COCONUT WATER” from young coconuts, comprises approximately 95% water & 5% total solids. Its composition changes during ripening & germination. The initial concentration of total solids is around 2.5 g per 100 ml…

Coconut water is very rich in “ELECTROLYTES”, including:

    (1) Potassium (203.70-251.52 mg per 100 ml)
    (2) Sodium (1.75-16.10 mg per 100 ml)
    (3) Magnesium (6.40-9.44 mg per 100 ml)
    (4) Calcium (27.35-31.64 mg per 100 ml)
    (5) Phosphorus (4.66-12.79 mg per 100 ml)

These electrolytes play a crucial role in maintaining proper “HYDRATION”, as most Caribbean people suffer the effects of hydration by drinking “SWEET DRINKS”; “SUGAR-FLAVOURED MAUBY” & A SLEUTH OF OTHER SUGAR-BASED DRINKS” INCLUDING ALCOHOLIC DRINKS THAT DEPLETE & LEECH MAGNESIUM & POTASSIUM FROM THE BODY LEADING TO ALL KINDS OF HEALTH CONDITIONS INCLUDING THE #1 KILLER: #DiabetesMellitus!!!

Electrolytes play a particular role during exercise & in hot weather. Coconut water’s electrolyte profile is in some ways comparable to sports drinks but without the added sugars & flavourings!!!

Some of the known benefits of coconut water include:

    (1) Diuretic Properties – coconut water increases blood circulation in the kidneys & promotes “PROFUSE DIURESIS”, making it a natural “URINARY ANTISEPTIC” & “DETOXIFIER”
    (2) Antioxidant & Anti-Inflammatory Effects – coconut water contains “ANTIOXIDANTS” & “ANTI-INFLAMMATORY” compounds that may help protect against oxidative stress & inflammation
    (3) Skin Healing – studies suggest that coconut water, when applied topically, may have benefits for skin health, including: “ACNE TREATMENT” – where the antioxidants & anti-inflammatory compounds may help reduce acne severity
    (4) Wound Healing – coconut water’s “ANTIMICROBIAL” & antioxidant properties can promote wound healing & reduce the risk of “INFECTION”

DISCLAIMER: While coconut water can be a healthy beverage option, it’s essential to note that “HIGH POTASSIUM CONTENT” in coconut water can “LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE”, making it potentially hazardous for individuals already on “BLOOD PRESSURE MEDS” or those with pre-existing “HYPOKALEMIA”!!!

BEWARE – The “SODIUM” content in “ENRICHED COCONUT WATER” (those processed in production facilities & “TETRA-PAK (ed)” with added sodium may not be suitable for most people & should be reserved for those engaging in intense, prolonged exercise – such as “ATHLETES” et al…

I am amused how people attach their theories regardless if revelant or not to these posts. Consumption of excess amounts of coconut water can cause low blood pressure and other problems due potassium. People have been drinking chlorinated water for decades with little negative effect and of course there is the advantage it provides for dental health. However if you choose you can use filters to remove

  18. I hate when I come to a post and am unable to contribute in a meaningful way.

I have to confess that TB has somehow managed to evade my lower level of filters. I read most of what he writes but the old brain does not readily accept what he says. I guess he cannot pass the higher layers of my filter.

COCONUT WATER AS CITED ABOVE DUE TO ITS “HIGH POTASSIUM CONTENT” can “LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE”, making it “POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS FOR INDIVIDUALS ALREADY “ON-BLOOD-PRESSURE-MEDS” or those with pre-existing “HYPOKALEMIA”!!!

    What’s not 2 understand!!!

But drinking “MUNICIPAL WATER” has “LITTLE NEGATIVE EFFECTS” – #SaysWho???

    #LongTerm or #ShortTerm???

    https://www.living-water.co.uk/blog/the-negative-effects-of-chlorinated-drinking-water/

How about another “THEORY” that says you don’t need to actually “DRINK H202” ( #CommonWater ) & still live a normal, healthy life!!!

  20. @ RB MacDonald
    If you can..
What exactly is the ‘problem’ with LOW blood pressure in Barbados ..that coconut water can cause? Wuh this sounds like a problem that we NEED….

Drinking chlorinated water with little negative effects…..?
What empirical data do you have to rule out its impact on the unprecedented RISE in chronic illnesses since its introduction?

…and it has advantages for dental health…? in what way boss..?
The benefits of drinking coconut water are EXTENSIVELY documented.

The problem that Bushie has with Grenville’s piece is his attitude to the price asked – in an environment where EVERY FOREIGN OWNED entity in Barbados, from Massey, EMERA, Flow, Digital, Parkland, to the lotta restaurants and Bars … ALL charge whatever the Hell THEY like – and get away without a cussing…

…but LOCAL Bajan entrepreneurs are supposed to pander to our RESULTING poverty by subsidizing our HEALTHY taste…?

Same shiite with farmers, fishermen, tradesmen… who are EXPECTED to maintain 1990 prices, while the MASSAs rip us all off….

    What a place.

What Bushie want to know is what is happening to the great EMERA RIPOFF that appears to have been safely PARKED in our shiite court system ..to die a quiet death… while ’temporary’ rates are being collected by the company.

    Sorry Grenville…
Bushie will NOT be selling any CHEAP coconut water…UNLESS something is FIRST done about the foreign rapists….

    #SorryBruh…

At least I am grateful for an “E” 4 “EFFORT”…

I was in “CONVO” with my neighbour Friday gone when she said that it was so difficult putting 3 sons through university & now they are all “GRADUATED” & in jobs – at least her life is a bit easier…

I said to her, that if I had my life to live over again, I would “BYPASS SCHOOLS” as it causes you to miss out on a lot of “CREATIVE ENTERPRISES”, entrepreneurial activity & overall life pursuits…

    She disagreed!!!

I said in remonstrance that in my ‘undergraduate years’ – I became the “VICTIM” of personal & ideological “FIXATIONS” by men (NOT THE LADIES, AS I WOULD CHARM THE SOCKS OFF ‘EM) – where I was assigned “GRADES” that were disingenuous & I once asked “BLATANTLY” in front of an entire classroom (IF I WAS PENALIZED BECAUSE I WAS BLACK)???

    #YouCouldHearAPinDROP

Some of us know how 2 play the game & I must “ADMIT” that without “CHRIST” I would’ve “DEFINITELY” been a “PIECE OF WORK” (to say the least)!!!

I said to my neighbour – “Look, these “GUYS” knew my work deserved “FIRST CLASS HONORS” accreditation, but they would mark me down so it didn’t meet that threshold, (so I “BITCHED, WHINED & MOANED”) for justice – often demanding a 2nd “OPINION” (oftentimes to no avail)!!!

BUT AS ALWAYS: KARMA IS A BITCH – for it all turned in my favour when in my final year “EXAMS” (due 2 a “BLESSED” photographic memory), I wrote the “BLOODY TEXTBOOK” with citations & bibliographical references direct from the “ARCHIVES” of my cerebral cortex – “AND”, they “ALL” thought I had “CHEATED” as no one in the history of the university had written anything of that “CALIBER” without a “REFERENCE MANUAL” in front of them!!!

I was “EXONERATED” to the point where the university wrote to me (6 MONTHS AFTER LEAVING) on their “LETTERHEAD” asking to use my “EXAM WORK” as “REFERENCE MATERIALS” for future “UNDERGRADS”!!!

I obliged with the “SMIRK” of a “CHESHIRE CAT” on my face!!!

Master magicians (FOR WHICH I AM NOT ONE) will “HIT THE LOWER LEVEL FILTERS” – equally, “PLAYERZ” like any good “NETIZEN” knows the “HIGHER LAYERED FILTERS”, but can play “CAT & MOUSE” with the best of ’em – so rest assured, you are in “GOOD COMPANY” given my history & the challenges I’ve endured!!!

My ‘ole “FOLKS” & I am sure “YOURS” would say:

“YOU CAN PLEASE SOME OF THE PEOPLE SOME OF THE TIME – BUT YOU CAN’T PLEASE ALL THE PEOPLE ALL THE TIME…”

For me, those things are the “LEAST” of my concerns – as I am “TOO OLD, TOO WISE & BEEN THROUGH TOO MUCH” in such a short lifetime!!!

WHILE THE COST OF LIVING KEEPS GOING UP – THE CHANCES OF LIVING KEEP GOING DOWN

Welcome 2 the middle of the 2nd decade of the 21st century where “LIFE” no longer “CREEPS UP ON YOU” but tries to “RAM YOU LIKE A JAPANESE BULLET TRAIN”!!!

As the “BARBADOS” cost of living “INCREASES”, the “PEOPLE’S chances of “LIVING” a comfortable & secure life “DECREASES” – “DAY BY DAY”!!!

YOU MAXED OUT YOUR CREDIT CARD – NOW YOU HAVE TO PAY BACK WITH CRUEL INTEREST, WHERE THE BURDEN DOES NOT FALL ON THE BAJAN ALBINOS BUT ON THE PLANTATION WORKERS WHO THOUGHT THE GRAVY TRAIN WOULD KEEP MOVING & NEVER PULL INTO THE STATION

Now there’s #WageStagnation with “SALARIES” failing to keep pace with “SO-CALLED INFLATIONARY PRESURRES”, which is frankly, “(A CON-JOB)” as Black households face “MORBID DECLINES” in their purchasing power. For if your weekly “GROCERY BILL” was $600Bds – it now hit $1000Bds – leading to reduced access to “QUALITY FOOD PRICED OUT OF REACH” & those essential goods & services, no longer viable options – compromising the overall well-being of families (UP & DOWN THAT 166 SQ MILE PLOT OF OCEANFRONT PROPERTY)!!!

So with increased financial stress, come the “FRACTURES” & “FISSURES” evident in what is now “GOTHAM CITY” – where higher living costs now lead to further “DEBT ACCUMULATION”, “REDUCED SAVINGS”, & a “DECREASED ABILITY TO ABSORB UNEXPECTED EXPENSES” – with such “FINANCIAL STRAIN” negatively impacting the “MENTAL & PHYSICAL HEALTH” of the young people in the society!!!

I don’t hear my ‘ole matey (JOHN) whose Dad left him a house in “SANDY LANE” complaining about “COST OF LIVING ISSUES” – as he has the best of both worlds (LIVING HERE & MARRIED 2 AN ENGLISH GIRL) while having the luxury of a “RENTAL PROPERTY” year-round in the “BEST ZIP/POST CODE” anywhere on earth!!!

The “ISSUE” is #InequalityExacerbation where the cost of living crisis disproportionately affects “LOW INCOME FAMILIES”, who struggle to afford necessities. Thus, with such income inequality, those already on the “MARGINS” are pushed even further behind the “CURVE”!!!

So as the cost of living “RISES” – “PAUPERS DIE” a slow & painful “DEATH” from a lack of “UPWARD MOBILITY” (a sociological tenet that has become more & more “REMOTE” 4 individuals to improve their socio-economic status) in the face of mounting “SOCIAL PRESSURES”!!!

REMOVING THE MOTTLEY-CREW-GOV* TO TEST WHETHER THE OTHER DEVILS ARE ANY BETTER WILL CONTINUE 2 BE AN EXERCISE IN FUTILITY – FOR DAMNED IF YOU DO – DAMNED IF YOU DON’T!!!

    In other words, #YouAreSCREWED*, royally!!!

ON THE BRIGHT SIDE – JAMAICA IS EVEN WORSE

  25. Another good use of coconut water is as intravenous fluid for rehydration.

During the war on Vietnam, American medics discovered this and used it to great effect on soldiers who lost a lot of blood.

And while the coconut meat and cream is more preferred, the water tends to have about 3 grams of sugar per 100 grams.

For some this is too high, given consumption budget for carbs and sugar.

This writer is not generally minded that moderation should necessarily replace satiety. However, with coconut water moderation is a reasonable approach.

Assuming that one gallon of coconut water is being drunk daily. One gallon of liquid is about 3800 grams. Just under.

Meaning, over 100 grams of sugar is hereby being consumer, daily. From coconut water alone.

This is about a quarter pound of sugar from this single source.

This arithmetic is dangerous! For all people but especially people with diabetes, prone so to, the metabolic syndrome diseases generally.

In this case we would suggest that those supporting moderation are right. But since this writer is not often in the camp of moderation, also know that with hundreds of these trees around almost all the coconut water here bites the dust.

We have always heard that the over consumption of coconut water is not good.
We were hoping that you added your thoughts on this topics. So, you have confirmed what we were told a very , very , long time ago.

  30. Although coconut water is typically regarded as a healthful beverage, there isn’t enough scientific data to relate it directly to men’s erectile dysfunction improvement.

Blood flow / prana / qi chi ki / energy to the area is key.

  31. @ William
Surely you know that the over consumption of ANYTHING is ‘not good’.

Even the over consumption of PURE water can be fatal.
The OVER consumption of vitamins is ‘not good’.
shiite ..even the over consumption of BU can be deleterious to the BB spirit.

So THAT is a NON -POINT.

Coconut water is a BRILLIANT drink
Coconut oil is likely THE VERY BEST source of fats
Coconut meat can only be described as ‘SWEET AS SHIITE…’

    These are the FACTS.
Why Grenville would want to drink GALLONS of the stuff daily defies bush logic…

Only to say that Bushie NEVER buys the stuff
…cause it is TOO VALUABLE for the Bushman not to have his OWN trees …. LOL
So the price could go to $50 per gallon as far as Bushie cares…

There are some things that are SO VALUABLE, that a bushman seeks out the ROOT SOURCE for his personal supply.
Bushie DOES NOT depend on shiite ‘middle men’ like roadside vendors, (or in another VITAL area of life, Churches or religious ‘middle men’).

  32. shiite ..even the over consumption of BU can be deleterious to the BB spirit.

    Yuh getting slow Bushie.
Not good to be excessively slow either my Bro’

  34. Bushie

Moderation is a concept people accept based on old wife tales, inventions from folklore, etc.

If we were to turn your illogic on its head, would it be alright to drink a moderate amount of gramoxone?

Would it be logical to be injected with a moderate amount of the Covid19 vaccines.

    And on and on!

Conversely, and to make the case that there are many things, mainly plants, that can be eaten until satiety.

These include the very coconut jelly, dark leafy greens, cucumbers, zucchini, sea moss properly grown and harvested and without the added salt the Asians add.

Do we need to go on.

Only humans always seek to find these Simpleton ways of being.

There are animals which eat the same thing all their lives and do they develop any of the metabolic syndrome diseases human have, unless we poison them with the shiiite we eat. So domestic dogs, for example, now get illnesses they owners have.

Our main point is that moderation is necessary but insufficient to properly explain this issue.

    William Skinner

    Thanks

  35. I was reading between the lines with Grenville’s narratives as he ages and talks about death, judgement day, health, fitness and after life etc.

He has a strange name. Grenville is considered a toponym, or place name. Meaning “big town,” Grenville derives from the French words grand ville.

That was the case in the “old” world order, but now with AI coming on strong and AI taking over more and more of the tasks that the economy previously needed paid inefficient, human employees to do, the pool of so-called “useless eaters” will be increasing significantly as the “New World Order” takes over from the old.

The “useless eaters” will still be using up stores of world resources while presumably existing courtesy of government provided welfare benefits. I know AI proponents, wanting to quell worries about this issue, predict everyday, working class people will still find new and innovative ways to continue providing economic benefits and thriving in the new utopia-like environment. In AI World, all time will become leisure time for ever increasing numbers of us, as we inefficient, resource consuming, human animals can sit back and allow our AI computers and robots to do the mental and physical “heavy lifting” that humans in the “old time days” had to be paid to do (even if it was done very inefficiently compared to AI driven robots).

However, I think it was decided quite long ago that steps need to be taken to ensure the “useless eater” pool is kept down to a much more manageable size, perhaps like a worldwide population of between 1 billion to 500 million as suggested by the mysterious (and recently equally mysteriously demolished in the dead of night during the pandemic) Georgia Guidestones monument.

  38. @ William
Trying to distract Pacha from cussing Bushie is HOPELESS.
    i.e.
That is about as likely to succeed as the HOPE housing initiative is…. LOL
    Good luck with dat!!

Secondly your reasoning about ‘moderation’ is also flawed.

OF COURSE one should take such things as the ‘covid19 juck’ and gramoxone in moderation.
Gramoxone moderation is likely in the range of 0.001 ml per 100 million liters, and with covid19 jucks, moderation is CLEARLY no more than Zero per 800 billion.

For coconut water however, a pint’n half a day is more than adequate.

Eating ‘until satiety’ is called GLUTTONY. It is a well documented condition that needs little explanation.

    @ Kiki
You are right about old people and Armageddon.
However of late, you MAY have noticed that ALL ranges of folks now seem similarly fixated.
Old people just saw it coming MUCH sooner…

  39. Companies get smaller and much fewer people get richer and richer and richer.
    Globalisation becomes Global Domination.

The Coconut market should survive the AI takeover of humans but it may become a luxury commodity for the stinking greedy rich bastards who want it all if prices go up! Up! UP!.

  40. “Old people just saw it coming MUCH sooner…”

It is probably their feelings of guilt for raiding resources ruining humanity and causing all the shit leaving a worse future for the youth who inherit all the problems they made and didn’t ever address and fix

  41. Lord have his mercy!!
Green monkey has let the cat out of the bag… and right after the HRMAB president announces that ‘many’ jobs bout here will become redundant due to technology over the NEXT YEARS.
How Greenie could expect to drop such news on people, who cannot even assimilate the fact that the SAME people who subjugated, tortured, exploited and hated their fore parents for CENTURIES ON END, are NOT the ideal persons on whom to depend for loans, advice, patronage or even friendship…. escapes Bushie….

But the REAL problem is that Greenie is right as shiite….

  42. I listening to Down to Brasstacks. So could you.

  43. Coconut water has more benefits than many products sold in supermarkets hence the price increase. It can be stored in Tetra Paks for up to 12 months for shipping to countries with no coconuts for bigger profits than in local markets.

  44. Bushie

Glotony means habitual and excesses eating.

Satiety simply means feeling full or contended.

How can these two words be synonyms?

Please don’t let us go to the etymology.

Your underlying problem is you always think that that foolishness from your book as always spewed, well-cloaked, is unquestionable, even on the margins.

  45. Gluttony

  46. The field of lexicology is best left to the inimitable GP. I hope he’s well.

  47. Bushie

    See wha uh tell yuh!

Your proverbs is the one talking bout gluttony. And you were tooooo glad to measure Pacha by that shiiite book!

  48. religions are an imagination of a group of people expressing their sacred values
it is a concept to provide comfort and guidance
they only exist in the mind

  49. @ Pacha FYI…

    Satiety

    Wikipedia
    https://en.wikipedia.org › wiki › Satiety
Satiety is a state or condition of fullness gratified beyond the point of satisfaction, the opposite of hunger…

    Apology happily accepted.
    Bushie… 🙂

  50. Bushie

    No apology.

Why don’t you find a proper dictionary or source.

Don’t you know that Wikipedia is a politically inspired, government supported, disinformation site.

Why don’t you find out what they say about people like Gary Null, alternative heathy people like you, and masses of other people, like you, who fail to buy into a large range of popular narratives.

    Wikipedia is a disinformation site.

Once they people make a determination no amount of efforts can even get them to make a correction.

Collins Dictionary says satiety means – fullness, satisfaction, gratification, satiation.

Collins says gluttony means – the act or habit of eating too much and being greedy.

Lord man, how can these be the same. Come on man! Surrender to the Pachamama!

Yuh gine leh muh kill yuh!
