David; re. your 4:41 am post;

You are correct but I have indeed considered that cohort of the population.

The reason that the US experts are beating the drum for testing, testing and more testing is to get a handle on what proportion of the general public has been compromised by the virus in any way and has left its signatures in body fluids including blood in the population. The virus is shed from the infected body as the disease is brought under control. When it is controlled it has been found that it takes around 7 days for all particles to be shed from the body. Infected persons are released back into the community when they test negative twice over a period of 2 days.

Barbados, like all of our island neighbours, did or does not have access to large numbers of tests and had to use what we had very sparingly. Thus, the only measure that we had for gauging the incidence of the virus in the population (and a very imperfect one, at that) might be by comparing the evidence of infection levels hinted at by a comparison of the graphs of the progress of the various Covid-19 outbreaks in our Islands.

Most of the world was in the same position as the Caribbean and used the data obtained by the minimal testing of infected people and their contacts and their contacts to produce the graphs we see on such sites as WHO and Worldometer etc. All these graphs give an imperfect picture and significant underestimation of infection levels in the county or country in which the tests are carried out, but, since they are carried out in the same way in each country they might provide some rationale for guesstimating the comparative levels of the infection in various groups of countries.

The data shows that, starting out at essentially the same levels, there was some divergence in relation to the rate of infection and therefore progress of the various outbreaks in various countries. The graphs for Barbados showed low and declining levels of infection from the beginning, peaking at the level of 13 positive cases per day and thereafter showing a slowly declining trend. The individuals who would have contributed to the declining trend would have been primarily from the contact testing but should also have included other individuals referred by Health professionals or who presented themselves to Government institutions because of concern that their symptoms might point to untimely death due to the dread Covid-19.

Amit, in an earlier post on this blog, reported on his initiative of graphing Covid-19 incidence over weekly periods throughout the epidemic, in several Caribbean Islands. If David thinks it is appropriate and Amit agrees I can post a subset of graphs clipped from his data for 6 Caribbean territories which I think could illustrate some of what I have presented above.

  1. With evidence that the COVID has made entrance into the prison
Makes for wonder how lobg will it take to test the entire prison population and how fast would test results be given
This problem has the makings of a monster face in that unlike past contacts were few and testing could be done faster
But the entire prison population along with family members abd visitors takes on a whole new look

  2. Three photos. In two of the photos the subjects are relaxed, unimpeded and could be liming in their back yard. They are all lily white. Whilst in the other photo the subjects are black and their space has been encroached on by the police. There appears to an element of tension in the frame.

As I said , a picture paints a thousand words. Is The Nation unconsciously bias in its representation of black people or is it portraying the natural order of things in ?Barbados.

  3. @Mariposa January 1, 2021 6:49 PM “But the entire prison population along with family members and visitors takes on a whole new look.”

A bad situation, but fortunately at this time in-person prison visits had been suspended months ago, so there will be no need to test hundreds or thousands of family members.

I was planning to go to a funeral tomorrow but won’t do so now.

  4. It is being said that a December 26 bus crawl [bus picnic with multiple stops at bars/restaurants etc.] stopped in Holetown, where the covid was picked up from the British? tourists there.

  5. Hal’s bad behaved people.

  6. It is unfortunate a group of our essential services would have seen the merit of participating in a bus crawl during a pandemic. Very unfortunate.

  7. Just me ?
No sound and no sign language.

  8. The events of the past few days and government’s response further cements my opinion of Hal Austin. The man argued that the government was withholding information on local cases. I say no more.

  9. The minister said so far, there are 45 more confirmed positive cases of COVID-19. The cases include 32 prison officers and four officers of the BDF.

  10. Interesting turn of events but not surprising
Also not surprising is Mia call fir opposing views on this volatile issue to stop
Also not surprising is Mia blaming and punishing barbadians fir govt mistake
A mistake that is so obvious even a blind man on a trotting horse could see the outcome
A mistake bent on opening the borders and allowing people from various hot spots entry
A mistake that has now taking a turn for the worse and govt utterances are one of quelling people nerves (nerves) feeling the pang of anger and disgust
Playing with fire means one would get burn
Btw even Port St. Charles did not escape the fire of COVID as reported in the news

  11. We are fortunate to be governed by Mia Mottley and her ministers. Our Supreme Leader is right to attack social media because the opposition is spreading lies about the virus and inciting the people. Time for our government to crush the opposition and restrict press freedom!

We need a new prison wing at Dodds for opposition members and anyone else who threatens public safety!

  12. Tron say What
The only wing necessary at Dodds would be one bearing mia name in respect to her importing COVID into the country

It is being said that a December 26 bus crawl [bus picnic with multiple stops at bars/restaurants etc.] stopped in Holetown, where the covid was picked up from the British? tourists there.

COVID could not have originated from the bus crawl. The true origin of the super spread can only be the prison. The bus crawl is being used as the scapegoat. The prison officer positivity count is too high too fast for the recent bus crawl to have been the source.

  14. Maybe some one mostly an overseas source could have been infected and with whom a prison officer was in close contact possibly an overseas family member or friend who visited at their home

  15. Recently I saw where people were requested not to pick up their relatives at the airport:
Were relatives allowed to pick up family members to transport them to quarantine hotels?
What barriers were in place for taxi drivers or others transporting people to quarantine?
Would appreciate if someone could provide some insight into the above

  16. The issue here is that prison and BDF officers engaging in the behaviour protrayed in the videos being shared was Trump like. We can do better to limit our exposure. Please post sensible arguments.

    That jump me too.
How can you have people required to quarantine having to find their own transport to quarantine accommodations? They are expecting people to know what to do and to do it correctly.

Look at the poor Swiss guy they fined, they told him to go back to the hotel instead of staying at the AirBNB for pickup.

These transportation logistics are simple things we should have had down pact by now. Is anyone reviewing the entire process from disembarking the plane to quarantine release to ensure there are no gaps and plug them where necessary.

It seems they are operating under the premise people will do what they tell them so we don’t need any controls in place to identify loopholes. They seem content for the most part to use fines and prison terms after the fact as a control.

I hate to say it but it seems they trying all they can to avoid naming the prison as the source of the bulk of the super spread.

  19. ” Barbados has recorded a superspreader event – Jason Gittens’ bus crawl held on December 26, 2020.

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases coming out of tests conducted at HMP Dodds is over 45, with 21 being attendees of the aforementioned bus crawl. “

That is why I keep on saying we have to implement a cheap early medical intervention protocol to give to people while we complete the testing and contact tracing.

If that was in place, all they would have been saying during the press conferences is we have identified another cluster centered around the prison but don’t worry bajans. We have started all at-risk persons on preventative treatment while we complete all the testing and contact tracing. Continue having a good new year.

That is the only way out of this self-inflicted pandemic and not putting on curfews and other draconian measures to frighten the public. Look at Cuhdear Bajan now frighten to go to a funeral.

  21. Bosstic and company have a sound understanding of the protocols required to control and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Perhaps, what we are seeing is a result of the failure to emphasize to the public that they must remain vigilant and continuously obey the protocols; or our success in limiting the spread lead to a weakening of the people’s fight against covid-19.

We can overcome this, but there is a need to keep the public engaged in the fight against covid-19. Firm planks in our fight is knowing what protocols can prevent covid-19 and knowing that it is people who spread it.

New protocols accompanied by repeated education of the public must be part of the new response.

  22. https://barbadostoday.bb/2020/11/07/btcolumn-pandemic-fatigue-is-real/

There is also a story about a Bus crawl.

Minister Bosstic and company must recognize that the fight is broader than that against covid-19. People are tired and bored.

A few days ago I would have called for the death penalty for those not adhering to protocols. Today, I am not so certain of what should happen to them.

  23. British model says it’s all a misunderstanding
British model Zara Holland has broken her silence on the allegations that she breached Barbados’ COVID-19 protocols, calling it “a massive misunderstanding”.
“I firstly wish to apologise to the entire country of Barbados for what has been a massive mix-up and misunderstanding during my most recent stay,” she told the Saturday Sun in a statement issued through her attorney.
Holland, 25, added that she was working with local authorities in relation to the situation.
“I am currently working closely with the local authorities to rectify any issues on my part and will issue an update and full statement, which I think is the only right thing to do, to the Government and citizens of Barbados.
“I have been a guest of this lovely island in excess of 20 years and would never do anything to jeopardise an entire nation that I have nothing but love and respect for, and which has treated me as a family.”
She was identified by the British press as the visitor who cut off her red wristband and attempted to leave Barbados on Tuesday with her boyfriend after he allegedly tested positive.
Last Monday, the Ministry of Health issued a press release in which it indicated that police had held for questioning at least three tourists in relation to alleged breaches of COVID-19 protocols related to quarantine.
Several Barbadians took to the model’s social media pages on Thursday and criticised her over the incident.
A statement was posted on her Instagram page after 9 p.m. on Old Year’s Night which said the story was not true and she was receiving death threats.
Media reports surfaced that Holland and her boyfriend had arrived on the island last Sunday and were staying at a South Coast hotel awaiting the results of their COVID-19 tests.
A call was made to the hotel indicating the boyfriend had tested positive for the virus, and that the couple removed the red bands from their wrists, called a taxi and headed to the airport, where they were held by police.
They were then taken to the quarantine facility in St Lucy.
The Saturday Sun was informed that Holland was released from quarantine and returned to the hotel yesterday. She later relocated to another hotel. (MB)

  24. Businesses hit by Covid-19 cases
In less than 24 hours after it was announced that Government was investigating a number of recent cases of COVID-19 infections, management of four restaurants, as well as the Port St Charles residences and a bar, issued notices indicating they have been impacted by the disease.
Holetown, St James-based Red Door Lounge and West Bar Barbados, as well as One Eleven East at Speightstown, St Peter, along with Café Sol in Oistins, Christ Church, all released public notices indicating that their establishments would be closed until further notice.
Red Door stated: “As the country faces new restrictions in the fight against COVID-19, we will remain closed until further notice. This is due to the fact that a person who recently received a positive test result visited a few spots over the weekend, including Red Door Lounge. Our staff have been tested today and will remain in quarantine until given the allclear.”
West Bar Barbados attributed its situation to a family member of one of its staff testing positive for the virus. The restaurant announced that all of its staff were in the process of being tested.
Management of One Eleven Restaurant revealed that a patron who visited earlier this week had tested positive for COVID-19.
“Information came to light that one person who visited One Eleven on Tuesday evening has tested positive for COVID-19. We have a good record of guests visiting that day and we are working with the Ministry of Health to reach out to each one,” the business said, as it urged patrons to also reach out to the Ministry of Health.
Café Sol issued a statement yesterday evening also pointing out that a patron who visited the restaurant “returned a positive test”. It, too, said staff was under quarantine awaiting test results.
In all instances, the public was assured that the restaurants would be cleaned and sanitised before reopening.
In relation to the exclusive Port St Charles villas, at Heywoods, St Peter, a statement emerged notifying homeowners, staff and residents that a long-term resident had tested positive for the virus and was taken into isolation.
It added that two other people would remain in isolation in their apartment and would be tested.
“The Ministry of Health is actively handling the matter, including follow-up testing and contact tracing,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, the Tiki Bar in Hastings, Christ Church, has also closed temporarily.
“We had a guest of the bar test positive. We will be testing the Tiki Team to make sure all are safe and the team will be quarantined while we wait for the results. Also, before reopening, we will be sanitising the bar to make sure we are in a position to serve our guests while keeping everyone safe and healthy,” it was stated on its Facebook page.

  25. 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. curfew in effect from today
    MORE THAN 45 POSITIVE
For the first time since beginning its battle against the COVID-19 pandemic, Barbados has a “super spreader” event, which has resulted so far in 45 people, the majority being prison officers who attended a bus crawl party on Boxing Day, contracting the virus.
The daunting news was delivered last night during an 8:30 p.m. address to the nation, the second in as many days, during which Minister of Health Jeffrey Bostic revealed that more than 200 prison officers were being tested in a quarantine facility. The 45 positive cases included 32 staff from Her Majesty’s Prisons Dodds and four from the Barbados Defence Force (BDF). Seventeen from the prison service had attended the bus crawl.
“It is now considered a super spreader event,” a weary-looking Bostic said, adding that the aggressive contact tracing which had commenced on Thursday evening following two prison officers testing positive would continue until this morning. The majority of those who have tested positive so far were said to be asymptomatic.
He also urged relatives and friends who came into contact with these people, as well as others who attended the bus crawl, to present themselves for testing.
Testing of the 800 inmates at Dodds was also under way.
“This is a massive undertaking and perhaps the most challenging assignment of my life, including the 26 years that I spent as a military officer in the Barbados Defence Force,” Bostic said, expressing assurance that Barbados “has what it takes to wrestle with this monster”.
Expressing dissatisfaction with how Barbadians were responding to the pandemic, Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley announced that the curfew, which was instituted on Old Year’s Night to run till January 14, would now begin three hours earlier than the original midnight – for the next seven days – and that there would be absolutely “no banquets, fetes or social gatherings of any form whatsoever”.
“In a few minutes since the Minister of Health has spoken, I have received information that more batches are coming in with more positives from prison officers,” she revealed.
    Significant changes
“It is going to mean some significant changes,” she said, pointing out that since announcing the curfew during an emergency national address on Thursday night, she had received a flyer for a lockdown lime on January 4.
“I don’t know where we have gotten drunk with this notion that the only way we can enjoy ourselves is with music and alcohol. I am not using a big set of words and long talk to tell Barbadians to cut it out,” she said, as she warned that she was also prepared to make the wearing of masks mandatory.
“I have therefore advised the Attorney General to draft a further directive that would allow us to institute a curfew from 9 o’clock at night [until 5 a.m.] from tomorrow [today] for the next seven nights, until the ninth of January, but with the proviso that it can be extended until the 14th or further if necessary.”
She also warned bars, restaurants and shops that they were being monitored.
“The time will come when we would have to discuss the recklessness of the security forces having a bus crawl on Boxing Day in the middle of a pandemic,” she added.
In terms of security at the prison, she pointed out that the Prison (Amendment) Bill gave powers to members of the BDF and police to operate within the St Philip jail.
Minister of Home Affairs Wilfred Abrahams announced that police and soldiers have been deployed to Dodds to assist in safeguarding the jail in the absence of the prison officers who were being tested. He added this was to supplement the shifts and security arrangements until normal service resumed.
“To date, there have been no reports of incidents at the prison and the security at the prison is under control,” the minister said. “The integrity of the prison and the safety of its population is of paramount concern and all applicable resources will be utilised in this pursuit.”
The Ministry of Health and Wellness is advising all people who attended the bus crawl, which was organised by Jason Gittens, to visit the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic in Warrens, St Michael, for assessment and possible testing for COVID-19.

  26. Hotel staff upset quarantined visitors ‘out and about’
    By Maria Bradshaw
    mariabradshaw@nationnews.com
Some hotel workers are applauding the Ministry of Health for the tough stance it is taking against hoteliers who continue to breach the COVID-19 protocols.
Workers at one West Coast hotel said staff were being ordered to interact with visitors who had not yet been cleared through COVID-19 testing. They said even as the press conference was being aired on Monday evening, they were being told to cater to guests.
“The hotel has about 99 per cent occupancy and the majority of visitors here are wearing red bands on their hands, which indicates that they are awaiting a second test.
“Last night (Monday) the restaurant was packed to capacity. Tourists were sitting at the tables wearing red bands and management was instructing staff to go and serve these guests. They were walking all over the hotel, going in the lobby, on the beach and eating in the restaurant. They were even mingling with guests who had already been cleared. A lot of them were walking around without masks because they do not care,” said one worker.
Staff said some of them protested and refused to serve the guests who were wearing red bands, but this annoyed management.
“Last month we called the Ministry of Health to complain about this same situation and an officer from the COVID-19 Unit visited the hotel and had a meeting with staff. She said that we were not to interact with guests who were wearing red bands until they were cleared.
“When she left, the manager held another meeting with us the next day and told us that she was misleading us. He is saying that the Government said they could sit in the restaurant and be served meals. We told him if what she was saying was not true, why didn’t he challenge her when she was there?
“They already sent home a worker for the night, who refused to serve these people and other staff are now fearful that they may lose their jobs.”
The worker added that on Christmas Day, management had to order the guests to stay in their rooms because there was not enough staff around, and a similar process was supposed to be in effect on Old Year’s Night.
At another hotel, there were similar experiences.
“These tourists with red bands walking all over the property. They on the beach, going into the restaurant, everything. On two occasions doctors came here looking for visitors, and you know where they were? On the beach relaxing. Management is encouraging this behaviour because at the end of the day, they are looking for money and not looking after the health of the workers,” an upset employee said.
On Monday during the press conference to announce a tightening of the protocols, Minister of Health Jeffrey Bostic said hotels which breached the protocols would be removed from the list of designated quarantine facilities.
A health official explained that red bands indicated those people who were actively in quarantine. They should not be walking around the island or be seen anywhere in public spaces. The official urged people to have limited interaction with such individuals and “if there has to be interaction, both parties must wear a mask at all times”.

  27. UK lockdown hits Virgin
Virgin Atlantic is warning its passengers that there “will be some non-arrivals” of flights as a result of the lockdown in parts of the United Kingdom.
The British government recently announced that 78 per cent of the country would be placed into Tier 4 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. English nationals living in the affected areas are subjected to further travel restrictions from December 31, leading to non-essential travel, including holidays, not being permitted.
Virgin said in a statement that “regrettably, this has required us to make further changes to our holiday schedule”. It said retaining bookings was its “utmost priority” and it was contacting those affected and encouraging them to rebook and amend travel dates. ( PR)

  28. What is our epidemiological model? Are we putting livelihoods above lives? Are we going to close down the schools? Are some hoteliers out of control? Who is the new Czar?
The president is asking people to ignore the so-called social media. Why? Openness, transparency and honesty will defeat any amount of fake news on social media.

  29. Here is a classic example of gross incompetence. Three prison officers wanted in connection with CoVid and they are making a public announcement as if they were wanted men.
Why could they not just phone the men’s homes, or send a police team round to their homes. Why invade the men’s privacy in this public way? The men should talk to their trade union or lawyer.

Health authorities are trying to find three prison officers who are wanted for testing in connection with the “super spreader event” that has seen at least 45 positive cases of COVID-19.

Last night Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley, chairman of the Cabinet COVID-19 Sub-Committee, Senator Jerome Walcott, and Minister of Home Affairs Wilfred Abrahams made public appeals for the employees of Her Majesty’s Prisons Dodds to present themselves at the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic in Warrens, St Michael, so they can be tested for the coronavirus.

The three were listed as Dave Best, Paul Outram and Nigel Hall, but no other details were released.

The call was made after Minister of Health Jeffrey Bostic said that contact tracing had resulted in 45 people being confirmed as having COVID-19 – 32 from Dodds and four from the Barbados Defence Force (BDF) – after taking part in a bus crawl on Boxing Day….(Quote)

  30. Has the British couple who broke quarantine and tried to flee the country been charged?

  31. What we are witnessing are far-reaching negative consequences because of govt negligence who never had a clue of readiness or preparation of the increasing tourist
Now govt finds it fit within their own purpose to blame barbadians for what has happened within the prison population
As if barbadians are the ones who have allowed infected COVID persons into the country
Meanwhile COVID fatigue has set in and many barbadians and visitors alike look for fun and frolic to release stress
A natural part of human behavior and one which cannot be solely controlled by harsh fines and punishment
Meanwhile Mia continues to hem and haw with a up and front warning of telling and trying to control persons freedom of speech
    Go figure

  32. @Dullard

If they have covid 19 would they not be in quarantine?

    Chrissakes man.

  33. For months on end barbadians have been fed sanitize news
No longer can govt hide behind a veil of secrecy
The sh..it has now hit the fan
Visitors are being treated like criminals and barbadians also must bear the full brunt of govt punishments
The reality of wall that is happening stems from a policy of putting economy first and tye health of the people last
Within the coming months a new PR approach founded on patriotism or love of country would be the leading benchmark by which govt would use to put a lid on this towering inferno

They should have been charged the day the police held them. From the time they cutoff the red bands, they knew what they were doing.

Have they not been doing some court cases via Zoom as well.

Zara should be out on bail under guarded quarantine or fitted with a monitoring device. Boyfriend should have a charged already. Had the Jamaican or the Swiss guy done what they did, they would have been charged same day and doing time in police holdup until they get charged and held without bail because of the flight risk.

  35. I have just got out of bed to be greeted with the sad but inevitable news that Barbados is now under siege from covid-19.

The simple and most effective way to move forward would be the immediate closure of the borders.

I have read the harrowing accounts of hotel workers who were instructed to intermingle with tourists who potentially may have been covid-19 carriers.
Health and Safety laws stipulate that employers are legally bound to provide a safe abode for their workers to operate in.

It is evident that certain hoteliers are bullying their workers. I would urge the government to carry out an immediate investigation into those hoteliers who are flaunting the covid-19 rules.

In due time the hoteliers will be viewed as the agents who introduced covid-19 on to the island. Should they lose the support of the government they will be in the cross hairs of an angry general public.

  36. Maybe, the priory one suspects was to get them to a medical facility. It is a non issue at this point. Barbadians are reminded to exercise COVID-19 health protocols.

  37. Makes now for wonder where will those brought before the courts and charged and sentenced with breaking quarantine laws be placed now Dodds is the subject of a COVID invasion

  38. @ Mariposa

Within the coming months a new PR approach founded on patriotism or love of country would be the leading benchmark by which govt would use to put a lid on this towering inferno…(Quote)

This is the kind of perception is is normally missing from BU. The next PR trick will be to accuse those who do not go along with the government as being unpatriotic, or even not being real Barbadians.
I had a very nice friend who worked for one of what we call the Magic Circle firms of lawyers, one of the top five or six. She disliked law. Everytime there was a big crim, such as multiple murders,we will phone up each other and guess who would be arrested and charged.
Good examples were Michael Stone and the Wimbledon murder of Rachell Nickel. We will also guess who would be accused if there was a plane crash (usually pilot error, in this age of science the technology can never be wrong) such as the Boeing 737 Max.
It is an old Leninist trick: blame the people if things do not work out.

  39. Would Dodds be sanitized and where would the prisoners be relocated
These and many more pressing questions dealing with a logistical stand point when grave ertors of this magnitude arises which can affect the entire safety of a population
Barbados has a legal system which drags its feet
However in this instance when people lives are being weighed in the balance against a govt gross neglect. questions of overall safety cannot be overlooked

  40. Surprised at the stance taken by some hoteliers.
Surely, they realize that if a large number of staff become infected the businesses may be forced to close (temporarily). It should also be pointed out that forcing staff to interact with guests who are positive places the greater population at risk of contracting covid-19.

Have hotels become creative in serving guests who are positive or are they just relying on the usual methods. Buffets / self serving approaches my need to be
    considered. Be creative.

  41. #greed #covidfatigue

  42. “My observations which fell on deaf ears are shining brightly.”

Most of us knew they were risks involved. We also felt and continue to feel that with proper protocols and with a informed and cooperative public the GoB can contain the spread of COVID-19.

We watched with amazement as a few positioned themselves to say I told you so. Now, and at that time, we did not believe it was that you had greater insight, you chose the worse possible outcome and stuck to it.

Hopefully, it is realized that other factors besides protocols need to be a part of the fight against covid-19. Our scientific approach must be complemented with a people component (education, constant reminders ….)

  43. “Within the coming months a new PR approach founded on patriotism or love of country would be the leading benchmark by which govt would use to put a lid on this towering inferno…”

You should have added “educating and reminders on the danger pose by covid-19, our love of self, love of friends, love of family and a desire to whip Covid-19”.

  44. Sometimes people take a logical and principled position on key events. It may help the blog sometimes if people do not agree with a view to challenge the authors to defend their positions.

  45. We have seen that logical and principled often ends up on one side of the B vs D divide.

I was beginning to think people were of willing to cut off their noses to spite their face or hoping the end result is a scorched earth.

It will take more than fancy phrases, more than a boat load of perfume and more than a pretty dress to convince me the stinking pig is a lady.

  46. @ Critical Analyzer can you please explain to the Blogmaster what the issues are? I don’t think that he gets it.

Maybe, the priory one suspects was to get them to a medical facility. It is a non issue at this point. Barbadians are reminded to exercise COVID-19 health protocols.

You are joking right? A non issue? Really? A tourist blatantly disregard the rulws and put several lives at risk and you call that a non issue? A Jamaican arguably put less lives at risk and got half a year in prison.

How about reminding the tourists about non compliance with some jail time too?

Oh I get it, “de tourisisses does pay de bills we cant lock dem up”

  47. Wrong Theo my observations were not solely bent on the inevitable of a worst possible scenario
Howver but built on a govt sending messages to international markets that Barbados was COVID clean
Chasing the dollar instead of having long term plans in place in cases of circumstances like these
As i was quick to asked today by observation does govt have a plan in place to relocate prisoners with an effect to sanitize Dodds
These are the kind of measures which govt might not have thought about
Hence we have a govt yesterday trying to sanitize the effect of COVID on the Dodds population
