Modern historians tend to accept most of what ancient historians (before 100 AD) wrote as an accurate record of human history; but when they wrote about supernatural events, modern historians tend to dismiss those parts as myths.  This analysis assumes that they are not myths, but important pieces of the historical puzzle – which I shall attempt to assemble.

God is one, and He created divine beings with different responsibilities.  Some of these divine beings had management responsibilities.  Given the massive size of the universe, God created humans to become part of His divine family and to be trained to receive management responsibilities.  The training would happen on Earth and required about 1,000 years.  God told humans to multiply and manage the Earth.

FRUSTRATING GOD’S PLAN.

One of God’s divine beings did not like the idea of humans managing him, so he frustrated the training by tricking the first humans into losing their innocence by prematurely accessing information that they were not mature enough to receive.  Thereafter, humans consistently failed, and their training was compromised by guilt and fear of failure.

God assigned a group of divine beings to monitor and help them in their training.  But many of the monitors found the women irresistible, took them as wives or raped them, and had immortal offspring.  These offspring were much stronger than humans and fought them.  Soon, the Earth was filled with violence, so God declared that the divine monitors and their offspring would be judged.

THE FLOOD.

God sent mighty angels to arrest the monitors, where they imprisoned in the underworld until the day of judgement.  God also flooded the Earth to destroy the offspring of the monitors.  However, since they were immortal, their disembodied spirits sought to possess the bodies of humans who had given up on their training and embraced an immoral lifestyle.  Those spirits are called demons.

God told the survivors of the Flood to continue with their training, and to multiply and manage the Earth.  Instead, they remained in one place and built a tower.  Therefore, God gave them different languages to facilitate their dispersion.  God also sent other divine monitors to facilitate the training of each language group and direct them to worship their Creator.

DIVINE MONITORS.

Many of those divine monitors convinced humans that divine monitors were gods, and directed humans to worship them.  Communities set up temples with oracles and priests where the will of the monitor may be known.  Some monitors demanded human sacrifices, including new-born children.  Others demanded war.  Some also seduced women and had offspring.

Since most humans had no interest in being trained, God reduced the years of humans from 1,000 to between 70 and 120 years.  He also decided to train one nation with the expectation that they would train other nations.  That nation was Israel; but they consistently rejected their training and preferred to worship the divine monitors assigned to other nations.

THE MESSIAH.

God declared that the divine monitors who led humans astray would lose their immortality and die like men at the final judgement.  This judgement would occur once a predetermined number of humans had been trained.  God sent His son, Jesus, to: (i) train a group of persons to train others, (ii) pay for the consequences of sin for all mankind to remove the guilt that may delay training, and (iii) end the authority of the divine monitors.

Jesus trained a group of persons for three years.  After being crucified as the sacrifice for the sins of all mankind, He descended to the underworld and removed the authority of the divine monitors.  When resurrected, Jesus explained to His followers that they should train people of all nations in the same manner they were trained, and should fear no divine monitor or demon.

AVOID AND DELAY STRATEGY.

Once Jesus was resurrected, the divine monitors and demons had one main aim – to delay their eternal judgement.  They did this by deceiving people to end or delay their training.

Efficient methods of ending training are through premature death from: abortion, suicide, murder, war, famine, disease and drug overdose.  Effective methods of delaying training are from addictions to: pornography, promiscuity, drugs, entertainment, violence, stealing and lying.  An effective strategy to avoid training is to remind humans of their failures and let them wallow in their guilt.

THE FUTURE.

At the end of the age, the divine monitors and their offspring will be imprisoned in the underworld to await their judgement.  Those who embraced their training will get 1,000 years to complete it – without divine monitors and demons to hinder them.  On completion, they will manage the universe with new bodies made for space travel, with Earth being their headquarters.

At that time, those who rejected their training will be unemployed and unemployable – disqualifying themselves from exciting and fulfilling management responsibilities.  Instead, their immortal souls will be tormented in the underworld by the monitors whom they served and the demons with whom they aligned.

If this is reality, then rejecting our training would be tragic short-sightedness – of the highest order.  If it is myth, then what harm is there in learning to be better by loving God and our fellow human beings?

We wonder what the wokeists warmongers, the pragmatic-nationalists, the pedantic-dribblers, the fascists, the progressives, the fools calling for the death of Putin from early on and the rest will be saying since the leaked Pentagon documents show the “highest order” of lies everybody in the West. Every media house, every White House official, every NATO official, has been telling us about this NATO war against The Russian Federation, from the very beginning, as shown in the leaked Pentagon documents. Every rassssoul thing White people and their Black lackeys have told is a lie. Yesterday, today, tomorrow and forever more!

There’s only one question left since the motley bunch of idiots have no recall that every war from as far back as 1776 was based on a lie or lies. How many more times will they fall for the okeydoke?

The Barbados Slave Code of 1661
The slave code described black people as ‘an heathenish, brutish and an uncertaine, dangerous kinde of people’.
The Barbados slave code ostensibly sought to protect slaves from cruel masters (“the Negroes and other Slaves be well provided for, and guarded from the Cruelties and Insolences of themselves or other ill-tempered People or Owners”) and masters (and “any Christian”) from unruly slaves; in practice, it provided extensive protections for masters, but not for slaves.

    You’re absolutely right!!
Of course, the slave codes were at their centre about the protection, control, ownership, economic power over, property!
Again, nothing central has changed in this regard. And those who rely on that which so informs, prove undeniably the spectacular success of the codes’ framers.

  25. This is a knock, but not the usual knock.

I was reading a story today where an inmate who complained of feeling unwell, was coughing and vomiting blood and experiencing pain was not seen by the prison doctor or taken to the hospital by an ambulance. The prisoner was given Gravol and Dica and died shortly afterwards from a “duodenal ulceration with upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage by aspiration pneumonitis.

At times citizens will fall under the control of a government institution( hospital, prison …). Barbados has to move beyond the thinking of these as leftover institutions from our colonial past. Leadership must be given to those who have the courage to make decision and who do not rely on group thinking or sharing blame as leadership.

“I have to spend a few hours on site in order to get a patient” can no longer be a job description. We have to employ knowledgeable, qualified, sensible and caring people. It bothers me that citizens can can be institutionalized or imprisoned for decades and no one raises a red flag. It bothers me that men can be near death and even die without being afforded easily available medical care.

Something is wrong somewhere. . Am I correct in stating that it was only within recent times that we stopped describing citizens in conflict with the law using the same terminology used to describe escape slaves?

Let me make an outrageous suggestion: The authorities in Barbados need to actively review/protocols/guidances,/instructions until every remnant of the treatment for an ‘incarcerated’ “enslaved” population is removed. The piece by piece fixing of where the system is found to be broken must stop.
Let us put the whole system through a scanner which has compassion, can detect traces of humanity and can restore human dignity.

It is obvious that those who fall under the control of government need to be protected from its employees/officers. Just admitting that would be a good start.

Let us strive for the goal where all of our citizens have the rights to be treated fairly and humanely observed.

The worse form of brutality is that imposed on the helpless, weak and those that cannot fight back. Many of you will fail to realize that quite often you are seeing human behavior at its very worst.

  26. I had a slight chuckle this morning.
I was reading the story of a St Lucia man n who indecently assaulted a five-year old (living in the same building) on November 7, 2020. The man name was being withheld to protect the identity of the toung victim.

I chuckled, not because of the volume of information that is provided there. Enough to unmask the young victim (don’t get silly and say no names were called). I chuckled because I thought they could have observed the same level of reporting in the sentencing of Norman Leroy Lynch.

Just another instance of covering up for those who should be unmasked and unmasking those who should be protected. They eat the weak, the old, and the young.

The saying “if you start wrong, you will end wrong” comes to mind.

  32. Liberia: Pilgrimage to Barbados Set for May 6-13 2024

    Front SliderPress Release

By Press Release Last updated May 6, 2023

Monrovia – Nearly 160 years after hundreds of Barbadians traveled and settled in Liberia, a group of diaspora and home-based Liberians are preparing for a historic pilgrimage to the Caribbean island bearing significant historical ties to Liberia. The event website is http://www.Back2Barbados.com.

Under the umbrella of The SANKOFA PILGRIMAGE TO BARBADOS, the trip is being organized by Ambassador Llewellyn Witherspoon in collaboration with the Barbadian government, 159 years after the forebears departed Barbados for Liberia. It is a product of dreams of Barbadian-Liberians in Crozierville and Prime Minister Mottley to “revitalize the deep historical ties between Barbados and Africa.”

Liberia has produced two presidents of Barbadian ancestry, including President Arthur Barclay, who, as a boy, spent the first eleven years of his life in Barbados, and his cousin, Edwin Barclay, who was born in Liberia.

John Prince Porte emigrated from Barbados to Liberia in the mid-1860s.

The lineage is well documented in the 2021 Report, “Portes Find a New Home in Liberia: Story of the Post-emancipation Emigration of the John Prince Porte Family from Barbados, West Indies, to Liberia, West Africa, in 1865 and The Family’s Quest for Ancestral Citizenship” published by Ambassador Witherspoon. The Report is complimented by the Passenger Manifest of the Brig CORA, the vessel that brought 346 emigrants from Barbados to Liberia on April 6, 1865, arriving on May 10, 1865.

The document includes A History of Crozierville, the first-ever Porte Family Tree, a Porte Family Photo Gallery, and two separate documents portraying the Prominent Roles played in Liberia and internationally by Direct Descendants of John Prince Porte and Prominent Positions held in Liberia and internationally by other 1865 emigrant families from Barbados and their descendants who settled in Crozierville. It also included references to several important research work on the Barbados – Liberia bilateral agreement conducted over the years, which enabled the 1865 emigration.

In January 2020, Prime Minister Mia Mottley designated and introduced 2020 as the year for Barbadians and those who love Barbados to come home, reconnect with family and friends and invest in the rebuilding and development of Barbados. Under the theme “We Gatherin’ 2020”, it was a clarion homecoming invitation symbolizing a recommitment to the core Barbadian values that define who we are as a people. It is an event to reunite all Bajans.

Barbados maintains the world’s second-largest archive of slavery-era records, second only to the United Kingdom’s, which the Government is keen to preserve and make available to future generations using modern technology.

The Prime Minister’s plan hopes to diversify and grow the economy and boost its population, currently 290,000, by availing multi-generational diaspora descendants citizenship of the island. The change would mean that providing they can prove it, descendants of the island who settled in Liberia beginning in May 1865 and after could be in line for the coveted citizenship of Barbados.

In addition to 10 acres of fertile land per person and 25 acres per family, each Barbadian emigrant was granted citizenship on arrival in Liberia.

Ambassador Lorenzo Witherspoon, who has written extensively about the Barbados-Liberia connection, says he is grateful for the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Mottley, who requested during a 2021 meeting at Ilaro Court in Bridgetown, that a plan for a pilgrimage “home” of Liberians, to be followed by one of Barbadians to Liberia,” be undertaken.

Says Ambassador Witherspoon: “Like the British Slavery Abolition Act, whose passage was delayed until 1833, Liberian descendants of Barbadian emigrants and African-Barbadians who didn’t leave the island have, until recently, done little as a collective to reconnect and reunite families on both sides of the Atlantic and to build a robust and formal connection between the island and Africa. The generational change in Africa and Barbados and interest in revisiting their roots have served as a catalyst for breaking this barrier to reintegration.”

Dr. Ophelia Weeks, Co-Chair of the soon-to-be-launched Foundation, The Africa – Barbados Heritage Initiative (TABHI), laments: “We are today what we did yesterday. We will be tomorrow what we do today. The history of the relationship between Liberia, Barbados, and Crozierville should be preserved; it needs to be unearthed and celebrated. That history recognizes significant building blocks in Liberia’s development, then and now.”

Sean Williams, Co-Chair of TABHI, added, “Despite not having the opportunity to experience Liberia growing up due to the conflict in the 90s, his family’s stories of their ancestral home left a lasting impression on him. “Last year, I visited Liberia and discovered that our ancestors had arrived from Barbados after the abolition of slavery on May 10, 1865, which coincidentally is also my birthday. This realization inspired me to help others connect with their ancestral roots, leading me to join the effort to bring the “Back 2 Barbados” experience to life. By promoting awareness of our shared histories and cultural backgrounds, we can foster greater understanding and appreciation among people of African descent, break down barriers, and create economic and cultural exchange opportunities between Barbados and Liberia. Let us use our shared heritage to build bridges and work towards a brighter future for all.”

In a previous meeting with Ambassador Witherspoon, Prime Minister Motley gave assurances that the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. resources and others of the Government would be made available to assist in making the pilgrimage a reality, as well as facilitating Barbadians who wish to make the connection.

The former diplomat also complimented Barbados on its maintenance of the world’s second-largest archive of slavery-era records, second only to the United Kingdom’s, and urged the Government to take steps to preserve it in a manner that would make it available to future generations using modern technology. The Ambassador offered to leverage his fundraising experience and global reach to raise funds for digitizing slave-era records in the Barbados Archives.

The Prime Minister assured Ambassador Witherspoon that the archives project was a priority of the Government, and considerable discussions had already taken place with a view to digitizing the records.

During his meeting, Witherspoon presented the Prime Minister with the results of one of his research projects, the paper titled: Portes Find A New Home in Liberia — Story of the Post-Emancipation Emigration of The John Prince Porte Family from Barbados to Liberia, West Africa in 1865. The family was one of about 50 that comprised what remains the only organized emigration of Barbadians to Liberia, indeed Africa.

Commenting on the research Paper, Elfric K. Porte, Sr., the eldest great-grandchild of John Prince Porte, wrote: “Coming 150 years after the arrival of our forebears in Liberia from Barbados, the family is proud of this initiative, which firmly and finally connects the dots of our family’s origins and paves the way for the reunion with our living relatives in Barbados….”

From the hundreds of Barbadians who returned to Liberia in the 1860s, that country has produced two political leaders, including President Arthur Barclay, who, as a boy, spent the first dozen years of his life in Barbados.

Settled by returning, formerly enslaved Africans from the United States in 1822, Sierra Leone, Guinea, and Côte d’Ivoire border Liberia. Although Liberia declared its independence on July 26, 1847, it was not until September 23, 1862, that the United States recognized it.

Under the auspices of the Barbados Company, Sarah Ann Bourne Barclay, daughter of Black business luminary and abolitionist London Bourne (who was born a slave in Barbados), together with her husband, Anthony Barclay Jr, led the 346 emigrants to Liberia in 1865.

  33. @ King David,
I saw the Liberia link from Hants and your good self. It led me to some other areas. The Barbados diaspora has been spread far and wide. Take a look at the link below which discusses the migration of Caribbean citizens whom departed from the port of Bridgetown to Brazil to search for greener pastures. It’s a fascinating read. It also highlights why Barbadians are so despised by the majority of Caribbean people from the other islands.

Barbadians are, sadly, a very conservative breed of people who are heavily ensnared in the class system.

There’s plenty in the link below to keep Pachamama and the effervescent GP from going head to head.
