  1. This is good!!

  2. Looks like the Democrats miraculously finding enough votes in Nevada and Laxalt may lose!!

They cannot afford to lose both the House and Senate even though common sense says they should.

This isn’t the electoral college at play, it is straight forward popular vote and that clearly shows the Red Wave.

  3. Several hours earlier today here is the 63% number!!

    Prophetic!!

  4. .. and the trouble will come from the Demographic who have just been screwed … those who are discovering that they are not going to have their student loans forgiven and can’t go on their vacations, buy their iphones and drug themselves up!!!

Your family I suspect is going to get an epiphany when the Texas judge’s ruling sinks in!!

How much student loan debt is owned by your family’s household?

I think you will find abortion is not the issue!!

The RINO faction in the Republican Party is dead.

Cheney killed it and Mitch McConnell applied the coup de grace in Alaska.

There isn’t going to be any schism in the Republican Party.

The California Red Wave is in the process of emerging but not if the Democrats can steal the elections there!!

That’s why it is taking forever to determine the elections over there which will determine control of the House!!

  10. @John
Prior to last Tuesday, they were like you, in that they could support anything Republican. If it came from a Republican mouth it became gospel.

IMO, the Democrats made a mistake with student loans. But the Americans too love a court, so this is just the beginning. It was a blatant attempt to buy votes. Isn’t this what politicians do.

Neither party has come close to balancing the nation’s finances since the 70s.

Seems like 6 of them, the ones who live in GA, get to vote again?

  11. Heading back to Nj today.
Hoping the analyses and presentation that I see here are on the mark, or I will have to start from scratch when I get home.

    Did I get it right
The republican won or are about to win but no one noticed.
There was a red wave but it is still out to sea
    The map is all red..

When you get home to NJ, start looking for the $$$$ required to fund the Student Loan Forgiveness in case the DOJ is able to successfully appeal this to the Supreme Court.

You all fellas dumb as sh!te if you can’t spot the Fake News Media (FNN) at work!!

Buying votes is illegal, it isn’t a mistake.

In this case it is unconstitutional and grounds for impeachment of officials who have sworn to uphold the constitution …. from the President back down!!

The Democrats have to keep control of the House and will move heaven and earth so to do!!!!

Sit back, relax and enjoy as the last few House Seats play out!!

  16. Grasshopper

You could also move to Florida ….. or Texas or Tennessee!!

Miami Dade used to be D+28.

    It is now R+3!!

The capitalists in NJ and other left coast states that fund the socialist have long picked up and left.

  17. The Red wave has been gathering tor years!!

  18. John you must think we are idiots!

The bottomline is this- with an unpopular President Biden in office it was widely accepted that Republicans would have won both houses with significant pickups. As it stands whether they still win it will be by by lower that expected margins. Added to which it is a historical fact midterms go against the party of the incumbent.

You may have the last word. All over the place like Poonka.

The amazing aspect of political life as shouted by Republican conservatives is simply that the ‘originalist’ model and rules of the Constitution are sacrosanct ONLY when it benefits their ideological beliefs.

I also believe that the Student Loan Debt relief executive order was bad policy but to have the SAME people now shout how terrible it is that the President’s executive pen is “In this case […] unconstitutional and grounds for impeachment of officials who have sworn to uphold the constitution” is totally absurd political hypocrisy.

No nation can be governed with this type of duplicitous absurdity.

How in heavens name can people demand lawful governance and talk about IMPEACHMENT because it is ‘vote buying’ to use a standard legally viable action of a President’s executive’s power … and yet willfully condone the completely ILLEGAL presidential action to subvert the ‘sacrosanct’ electoral process of validating the approved electoral college vote!!!

How does one even start to listen to such persons who break many laws to support ‘their family’ of insurrectionists but then criminalizes others for seeking to act ‘within the law’ on a disputed policy program because they disagree with what they are doing.

    Madness!

All that is very true, but Democrats need to pause and very carefully examine this landscape : WHY were they not able to defeat more of the ‘denier’ incumbents and all of those new candidates who cried ‘widespread fraud’ !

This is like the original Clinton-Trump contest where one option was bad and the other worst … and the big issues that should have more clearly determined the outcome were lost to many!

So we are back to Georgia … Walker (because of his NEGATIVES) should be no where near a victory podium, yet he is!

Democrats absolutely need to take careful stock of why lies, divisiveness and electoral violence (& personal domestic violence) on one side is still trumping their message!!

  21. @Dee Word

We have discussed this many times, Trump and his maga disciples have awakes the beast in heartland America.

  22. Numbers do not lie!!

Democrats have been becoming Republicans long before the elections.

The Democrat Party is in decline and the Republican Party is on the rise.

    https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/more-than-1-million-voters-switch-to-gop-raising-alarm-for-democrats

The Student Loan Forgiveness was an attempt to actually get out the kids vote in favour of the Democrats.

I am willing to bet it worked but now the kids are going to become furious when they realise it was another scam!!

Go look and see what the under 30 demographic did this election cycle.

It is going to become even worser for the Democrats once those idiots realise they have been scammed!!

All Trump has to do to cause real pandemonium is point out to those kids they have been scammed.

The sweet thing is they are cowards, weak and in a minority.

They will just have to suck it up because there are plenty Republicans and older more sane Democrats who will delight in whipping their asses and they can’t take adversity.

All the green and blue hair in the world will not work for them.

  23. So what would you do if you have an election that is based on vote buying?

  24. Even Pelosi knows Biden is acting unconstituionally!!

  25. Here we have the Judge clearly saying Bidens program is unlawful.

The executive order unilaterally executed by Biden is unconstitutional.

He needed to get it passed in Congress!!

So, he is in breach of the constitution which he swore to uphold and easy meat for impeachment, and then there is the border!!!.

“Nearly three months after President Joe Biden announced his student loan forgiveness plan, a federal judge in Texas has ruled it “an unconstitutional exercise of Congress’s legislative power” and that it must be vacated.

The decision marks a victory for conservative advocacy groups that have been challenging the president’s ability to cancel debt without the support of Congress. The program had already been temporarily blocked by the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in St. Louis after a request from six Republican-led states to enjoin it when their own suit was dismissed.

In a 26-page ruling, U.S. District Judge Mark Pittman called the program “one of the largest exercises of legislative power without congressional authority in the history of the United States.””

    https://finance.yahoo.com/news/unconstitutional-exercise-federal-judge-texas-153000023.html

The Democrats have no choice but to move heaven and earth to stop the House Control slipping to Republicans ….. and they are doing it.

    https://nypost.com/2022/11/11/bidens-student-debt-con-job-fooled-gen-z-for-the-midterms-will-the-kids-wake-up/

“Look at the numbers: 27% of eligible voters aged 18 to 29 cast ballots; 63% percent of those votes, per exit polls, went for Democrats. John Fetterman claimed 70% of the youth vote in his Pennsylvania Senate race; Arizona’s Mark Kelly claimed 76%.”

So, Senate control may have been determined by bought votes, Kelly in Arizona and Fetterman in Pennsylvania!!

Georgia had 30% of this group.

Wonder how they will vote in the rerun?

The Democrats have to win Nevada and Arizona and I am sure no stone is being left unturned!!

  29. Northern

Do any of your family have yellow, blue or purple hair and how many nose rings and stomach piercings do they have?

    What about tattoos?

“In Georgia, Raphael Warnock would have lost his Senate race decisively to his Republican opponent Herschel Walker without 116,000 votes from 18-29-year-olds, the Tufts analysis found. In Arizona, where counting has not yet finished, the Democrats’ Katie Hobbs has a slim lead in the gubernatorial contest over Republican Kari Lake thanks to more than 400,000 votes from young people.”

    https://www.ft.com/content/7cd9a338-498d-4b27-bcb0-42e6d3b56080

Katie Hobbs is even worser than John Fetterman!!

These elections are based on bought votes and are complete rubbish.

It is clear Joe Biden needs locking up for wasting his country’s time.

…. and, we want to make senators out of 18 year olds!!

@David, you wanna hear something unconstitutional re the US, try this: “Brooks [former congressman from Alabama] said, Trump repeatedly asked him to forge a path in Congress for President Joe Biden to be removed from office and be replaced by Trump”.

Now, THAT’s illegal and completely outside the boundaries of the US constitution but the Republican president was urging his minions to break the law … yet now they find voice to talk about maintaining laws😎🤦‍♂️!

And of course once you have crossed this man #45 you are evil, disloyal persona non grata.

But then and only then can you publicly say what you ALWAYS thought of the man… like “No question, I am displeased with Donald Trump, [b]ut that does not change the truthfulness of what I say. I challenge anybody to make the argument that you can trust the word of Donald Trump.”

Oh dear … only NOW he knows that you cannot “trust the word of Donald Trump.”

But anyhow I suspect this once rabid MAGA and still fervent believer in the republican right mantra is now a so called RINO as he now loudly says:

“It would be a bad mistake for the Republicans to have Donald Trump as their nominee in 2024. Donald Trump has proven himself to be dishonest, disloyal, incompetent, crude and a lot of other things that alienate so many independents and Republicans…”

I totally agree with him .. but it’s clear that’s a mistake they absolutely will not make and lose again!

I note, like you, that Trump actually committed no unlawful act. Free speech is protected under the constitution.

Biden however, I am sure you noticed, actually committed an unlawful act and usurped the constitutional authority of congress.

He has interfered in free and fair elections, and that’s an irrefutable fact Jack.

  33. …. and Biden has left an indisputable paper trail … the executive order.

Saying and doing are two completely different aspects of life.

  34. Biden has a big problem, there is a court decision describing just how unlawful and unconstitutional his actions were.

In layman’s language, “The order noted that the HEROES Act is not an “open book to which the agency may add pages and change the plot line” and that government agencies may “not seek to hide elephants in mouseholes.””

  35. Democrats keep control of Senate, Nevada just re-elected Cortez Masto, Georgia will be icing on the cake.

  36. Like everything he touched in life, O’Bribem has fcuked up these Santa Claus elections and perhaps created the possibility they may have to be redone.

What a complete waste of time only made possible by stolen 2020 elections.

This is election interference at its worst and most obscene.

The good thing is the kids will now know not to trust the word of any Democrat!!

  37. So, in the event he is impeached, the House will have a Prima Facie case against Joe Biden unless the DOJ can persuade Clarence and the other 8 justices that the act was lawful and constitutional.

The Court has it all written out in its 26 page judgment.

The only justice that might have a problem is the idiot appointed by Biden who does not know the difference between a man and a woman.

There will be no question as to his “crimes and misdemeanors”.

The Senate will then need 2/3 to convict.

Georgia just might expose the extent to which these were Santa Claus elections.

If the kids realise they have been scammed, Warlock’s 116,000 votes will be in jeopardy 6 of whom will be Northern’s family.

Are the Kids smart enough to realise they have been scammed?

They may not vote in retaliation for the perfidy.

If that happens and the Kids get to view them for what they are, the Democrats long term are dead.

It’s shockingly amusing to see some of the right wing tripe u post here … often just sctraight outta Newsmax or The DailyCaller or whatever with no discerning analysis.

That you are simply a right wing fanatic is obvious but what’s interesting is how you so slavisly subsume your book intelligence to an ideology and adopt a disparaging, disrespectful tone to describe other equally intelligent people simply because u have a different political view!

  43. Here are some student loan forgiveness myths … but with the facts!! The kids probably had figured them out until Biden created the “mother of all myths”. Sooner or later the Kids will realise that this too is a myth and that a Texas Judge has produced the facts!!

    https://www.takechargeamerica.org/busting-the-myths-of-student-loan-forgiveness/

MYTH: All student loan borrowers are entitled to enroll in the ‘Obama Forgiveness Program.’

FACT: First, there is nothing called the ‘Obama Forgiveness Program’ or ‘Obama Loan Forgiveness.’

MYTH: If I qualify for loan forgiveness, my student loan debt will immediately disappear.

FACT: Most borrowers who qualify for federal student loan forgiveness still have to pay back a portion of their debt – from 10 to 25 years’ worth – after which the the federal government ‘forgives’ the remaining balance. However, these programs will keep your payments affordable.

MYTH: If I don’t qualify for federal student loan forgiveness, I can just pay someone to arrange student loan forgiveness.

FACT: This is simply not true. Any person or company telling you otherwise is not being honest about what they can offer. Remember – if something seems too good to be true, it probably is.

MYTH: Without student loan forgiveness, I’m stuck with whatever repayment terms my loan servicer gives me.

FACT: Even if you don’t qualify for federal loan forgiveness under one of these plans, there are a number of repayment options, from Graduated and Extended Repayment to federal consolidation, that apply to a much wider range of borrowers and may make repayment more manageable.

  45. Pennsylvania is #1 on the Youth Electoral Significance Index for 2022 Midterm Elections according to CIRCLE, the Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning & Engagement based in Tufts University. Pennsylvania voters will participate in closely contested races for an open Senate seat and an gubernatorial seat. Young people make up 16% of the state’s population (about average), but the youth registration rate (69%) is above average. Young people also had above-average voter turnout in both 2018 and 2020; in that most recent election, youth voted for President Biden by a 27 point margin, giving him a net advantage of more than 150,000 youth votes in a race decided by less than 35,000 votes. 46. Georgia Senate

Two extremely close run-off elections in Georgia decided control of the Senate in 2020, and the race for Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock’s seat may once again be close in 2022. The state has strong facilitative election laws and nearly two in five nonprofits in Georgia focus on youth. Georgia also has a slightly higher share of young people in their electorate (17%); in 2020, youth turnout in the state mirrored the national average, but in 2018 it was above-average (34%). Nearly half (46%) of Georgia’s young people are people of color, and Black youth especially had a decisive vote choice for Democrats in 2020.

    Nevada Senate

The election for incumbent Democratic Senator Catherine Cortez Masto is expected to be one of the most competitive in the country in one of the most diverse states in the country. Nevada has some of the strongest facilitative election laws in the country and will be automatically mailing ballots to all registered voters in 2022, an election practice that was associated with higher youth voter turnout in 2020. Nevada youth preferred President Biden over former President Trump by 30 points in 2020—one of the highest vote choice differences in the country—which highlights their ability to decide close elections. However, the youth population has a below-average voter registration rate (52%) and of residents enrolled in college, presenting challenges to engagement.

    Arizona Senate

Arizona ranks second in both our Senate and gubernatorial rankings. The youth electorate in Arizona is larger and more diverse than the national average (29% are youth of color), and there is a high college attendance rate: 8% of the state’s population is enrolled in a higher education institution—which can create valuable opportunities for youth political education and engagement. In 2020, Arizona youth preferred President Biden by an overwhelming 31-point margin in a state that was decided by less than half a percentage point, and young Latinos played a critical role in the election.

  47. Floride Senate

Incumbent Republican Senator Marco Rubio is expected to face a competitive challenge in 2022. Florida youth had above-average voter turnout in both 2018 (32%) and 2020 (54%), and young Latinos could play an especially crucial role in the next election. There are opportunities to grow Florida’s youth electorate’ the state has a below-average voter registration rate of 53%. Florida does have a high proportion of youth nonprofits which could play a critical role. In 2020, young Floridians supported President Biden by a 22-point margin, though former President Trump won a close race in the state.

Florida Governor – De Santis and Hurricane Ian put paid to Biden’s scheme.

Plus, Hispanics are leaving the Democrats fast and Florida is Hispanic.

  48. Biden’s student-debt relief faces biggest test yet after Texas judge blocks program. ‘Definitely kind of like burst a lot of people’s dream’

    https://fortune.com/2022/11/12/is-student-loan-forgiveness-relief-canceled-debt-texas-judge-blocks/

“After the Texas ruling, many hit the internet, asking Google: “Is student loan forgiveness canceled?” Overall search traffic for “student loan forgiveness” quadrupled Thursday night and had increased nearly tenfold by Friday morning, according to Google Trends data.

Some borrowers said they were skeptical they would ever see the relief, anyway.Brenna Zimmerman, who graduated from Kansas State University in 2021 with about $30,000 in debt, called the debt forgiveness “a little bit too good to be true.” And even though the program would benefit her, Zimmerman, 24, now a graphics coordinator at a packaging company, wonders if it’s a good idea.”

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

When 25-year-old Hofstra University graduate Sarah Puckett heard about the plan, she couldn’t believe she might have some of her $26,000 debt forgiven.

“I was frantically calling my dad, frantically saying, what does this mean?” Puckett, now a TV producer for a true crime network, said. “Is this real? I feel like they’re going to take it away from us. I don’t believe it.”

Now, she worries that it really was too good to be true.

“I’m so excited to have applied, but you know, I’m not going to take it to the bank until I see that it’s actually happened,” Puckett said.

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Frederick Bell, 30, of New Orleans, has $23,000 in student loan debt and was hopeful to be excused of all but $3,000 of that amount. The 2014 graduate of the University of Washington said being free from debt would allow him to consider furthering his education or buying a house.
