The American Republican Party may very well welcome back President Trump as Leader. Former President Trump has actually never left the leadership since this past election cycle. Many Americans hoped Trump would pass into the lecture cycle so many ex-legislators do, but people in the know surely believe that Trump will not leave the national stage until he is pressured to do so. 

What makes Donald Trump such a force of political and economic persuasion? Why will he not just go away gracefully? Does Canada’s Pierre Poilievre,  who is seeking The Canadian Conservatives Party Leadership share similar characteristics  with Trump?

-So called grass roots movements that often employ undemocratic means to achieve a win.

-makes promises that are attractive to the electorate but maybe not good for the nation.

-Will appear with just about anyone to promote themselves (Truck Protest in Ottawa).

-Their political platforms are based upon -Make America Great Again – Make Harperism Great Again.

-Both platforms are based on returning to “past moments in time”, lacking new concepts-new promises.

-Both men are tied to The Right Wing politically and economically, dependent upon their wealth and     influence to achieve a political win. 

-Both men are tied to foreign national influences and crisis…Trump to Russia, Pierre to USA.

– Both men are destructionists, tearing down regulations, public organizations and governmental   regimes such as Environmental Protection Agency and CBC.

-“Freedom” has become a state of mind for these men and their followers, not knowing exactly what   that means. A umbrella like statement encompassing a great deal.

– Both men’s ideologies support a greater and more powerful military complex.

If you look for any form of imaginative, creative and new political, economic or public concepts you will be dumb founded to fine any. Remember Conservatism Lives in the Past. Conservatives overall fear change, the unique and different. Well not in Ontario, where The Ford Government has shown a unique ability to seek out and work with all their citizens, Conservatives that spend money when needed(Pandemic) while managing their budgets realistically. Trump simply cancelled many social programs, and redirected the funds to places that satisfied their back room supporters needs. Pierre will certainly do everything he can to bring back Alberta’s Energy Industry, and forget all about Climate Change because “its all about the economy” and the pocket books of his supporters.

In America, President Biden may very well retire and not run due to his health, leaving Vice President Harris to face a up surging Republican crescendo. The primary’s are showing Republicans who do not support Trump are falling by the way side, and Capital Hill may have many more Republicans to deal with, creating a “yellow Brick Road” for Trump onto a Second Presidency. Pierre Poilievre has pretty well decaled himself The Conservatives new leader while still fighting the leadership campaign. 

Liberals. Environmentalists, those dependent upon public funds, those seeking a new frontier may all need to quake where they stand, as Conservatism is on the march towards future victories. 

Conservatism means to conserve what was, not what will be. Conservatism does not present hope for better, new approaches to politics and governance. Oh the good old days eh!

    FBI reportedly seized 50 empty ‘classified’ folders from Mar-a-Lago
    September 3, 2022

    New details have emerged regarding the thousands of documents seized by the FBI during its raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in August.

    According to Breitbart, among the seized documents were 50 “classified” folders, all of which were empty.

    “According to a more detailed property receipt of the seized documents, the FBI discovered 43 empty folders with classified banners in Trump’s office and several others in the former president’s storage room,” the outlet reported. The revelation, which came as the latest twist in the situation, raises questions about the recent photo included with the DOJ’s court filing that showed documents and folders scattered across the floor at Mar-a-Lago.

    It was thanks to Federal Judge Aileen Cannon that receipts of the seized documents was unsealed this week, revealing the volume of documents seized and the types of items taken by the FBI.

    Given the sheer amount of items and documents seized, numbering in the thousands, many have now described the FBI’s raid not as a targeted search, but as nothing less than a “smash and grab” situation.
    The receipts came on the heels of the judge saying that she’ll need time to consider Trump’s request for a special master to review the documents from a neutral, third-party perspective.

    What’s next?
    Many believe that the DOJ is working to bring some type of criminal indictment against Trump eventually. The DOJ confirmed that the seized docs are one part of an “active criminal investigation.”

    “The seized materials will continue to be used to further the government’s investigation, and the investigative team will continue to use and evaluate the seized materials as it takes further investigative steps, such as through additional interviews and grand jury practice,” Justice Department lawyers noted.

    While many believe Biden’s DOJ is simply attempting to muddy Trump’s name ahead of the 2024 election, the plan has seemingly already backfired, as Republicans are more fired up than ever before.

    In the greater scheme of things an appeal really is just more time wasted … as one looks objectively at the magnitude of this affair – involving as it does legal precedents that are not definitively settled – it makes absolute sense to have an independent third party make the rulings on what is lawyer-client or personal paperwork and not US govt records.

    But that said, folks have noted that in the strict and legal technical perspective of the DOJ’s case an appeal is a sensible action. The DOJ have said that this defendant effectively has stolen govt documents and therefore has no justifiable right to have comingled his personal papers with them and further absolutely has no right to be requesting a special master to determine what’s privileged. That makes sense of course.

    But life is not always about the law BEING DONE …rather as we know only too well it’s about the PERCEPTION of how it’s done!

    The FPOTUS has muddied all perceptions of right and wrong here so the special master decision is the cautious approach needed to re-balance matters as best as can be!

    Note of course that the review to determine exactly what secrets were compromised continues apace.

    This is no victory for FPOTUS in any meaningful way … in fact it will provide indisputable independent details (again) of exactly how callous and careless this man was in handling very confidential papers and using them with his personal papers as if they were his. He is doomed!

However, based on how effective the criminally challenged FPOTUS has pushed away all his ‘convictions’ no practical person can imagine that the current POTUS cannot do the same.

    I also recall that the validity of the current J6 Committee is challenged in court by Pete Navarro, one of the Republicans who refused to honour subpoenas sent to him on specific grounds.

    The composition of the J6 Committe and its operation sets the precedent which Navarro plans to overturn.

    His court date is November 17.

    Who knows, the court may declare the J6 Committee null void and of no effect.

    Once the Republicans stick to the rules of Committee next year, there will be no grounds on which the same refusals can play out.

    That’s why the Democrats are so desperate.

    Trump is the greatest show on earth.

    Back in 2015 or whenever he came down the escalator, I figured out he would win on my own.

    At first, I liked Rubio then Ben Carson but once I saw Trump, I knew he would win.

    So, I told some friends on a boat cruise what I thought.

    When I saw the reaction of my so called friends when I first expressed the opinion, I realised I was going to have bare fun for years to come.

    One guy, a university professor actually stopped speaking to me for a while once Trump won, I reckon because he did not like the fact that I could be so observant, and he so completely missed the plot.

    Now, once someone shows me that he/she is so anti Trump as to be unbalanced, I start to work to add to the unbalance!!

    I enjoy it because I realise I have them figured out and know how to pull their strings.

    If laughter is the best medicine, Trump is not far behind.

    He has caused me to laugh so much since he came on the scene.

    What I can’t understand is how come dpd loves Biden so much.

    That more than anything else has me curious.

It’s a judgement recently issued for one of the insurrectionists at the capitol who has finally lost his ‘day job’ (so to speak). A judge eloquently noted some “OBVIOUS HYPOCRISY”.

    One suspects this man will appeal this matter so we’ll buckle in … re Dr. Navarro courts have ALREADY validated the legal surety of the Jan 6 Committee and the FPOTUS has already noted that he claims no executive privilege re the fake electors actions with Dr. Navarro. In fact there is DEFINITIVE Supreme Court precedent that a POTUS ***cannot seek**** executive privilege in a criminal matter concocted in the WH! Yet around and around the bush we prance… Ah well!

    Anyhow, the ruling excerpt:

    “When men gather to resist the civil or political power of the United States or to oppose the execution of its laws, and are in such force that the civil authorities are inadequate to put them down, and a considerable military force is needed to accomplish that result, they become insurgents; and every person who knowingly incites, aids, or abets them, no matter what his motives may be, is likewise an insurgent.     How does this MAKE practical sense other than for nefarious self-aggrandizing reasons … Per the Washington Post: “Material on foreign nation’s nuclear capabilities seized at Mar-a-Lago”

    Why would he keep that type of data? How could they be deemed as his “personal records”?
    Why would a judge knowing this accept that he had valid grounds for comingling his actual personal legal papers/passports etc. with such sensitive materials?
    Not even the POTUS can disclose Atomic materials in an ad hoc manner. A legal expert offered : _”…the classification of Restricted Data falls under an entirely different classification (and therefore declassification) system. It is not subject to EO 13526. Rather, it is governed exclusively by the Atomic Energy Act. If the Mar-a-Lago documents included Restricted Data, no public information suggests that the relevant “declassification” provisions of that statute have been followed. In fact, under the statute, a president cannot declassify such information on his own. Therefore, such information would remain classified regardless of any attempts made by the former president to declassify it.”

    But lo and behold, this man is completely above the law it seems … as we surely can’t prosecute him for outlandish, treacherous acts otherwise they will be riots in the streets!

    The J6 Committee is a kangaroo court, a waste of time!!

    Executive privilege belongs to Trump, not Navarro. Trump has to waive it and until he does he has it.

    Judge Aileen Connor on Executive Privilege:

    “Explaining why she was ordering a special master review for material potentially covered by executive privilege, Cannon said that the Justice Department had not convinced the court that those concerns should be “disregarded,” as she went on quote from how the Supreme Court described its move in a dispute this year over Trump January 6 documents, including a statement from Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

    SUBJECT: Declassification of Certain Materials Related to the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane Investigation

    By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, I hereby direct the following:

    Section 1. Declassification and Release. At my request, on December 30, 2020, the Department of Justice provided the White House with a binder of materials related to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation. Portions of the documents in the binder have remained classified and have not been released to the Congress or the public. I requested the documents so that a declassification review could be performed and so I could determine to what extent materials in the binder should be released in unclassified form.

    I determined that the materials in that binder should be declassified to the maximum extent possible. In response, and as part of the iterative process of the declassification review, under a cover letter dated January 17, 2021, the Federal Bureau of Investigation noted its continuing objection to any further declassification of the materials in the binder and also, on the basis of a review that included Intelligence Community equities, identified the passages that it believed it was most crucial to keep from public disclosure. I have determined to accept the redactions proposed for continued classification by the FBI in that January 17 submission.

    I hereby declassify the remaining materials in the binder. This is my final determination under the declassification review and I have directed the Attorney General to implement the redactions proposed in the FBI’s January 17 submission and return to the White House an appropriately redacted copy.

    My decision to declassify materials within the binder is subject to the limits identified above and does not extend to materials that must be protected from disclosure pursuant to orders of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court and does not require the disclosure of certain personally identifiable information or any other materials that must be protected from disclosure under applicable law. Accordingly, at my direction, the Attorney General has conducted an appropriate review to ensure that materials provided in the binder may be disclosed by the White House in accordance with applicable law.

    “We remain concerned that over one year from the date then-President Trump directed the Justice Department to declassify certain Crossfire Hurricane records the Justice Department has not only failed to declassify a single page, the Department has failed to identify for Congress records that it knows with certainty to be covered by the declassification directive.,” the senators wrote in a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland.

    The letter renews concerns raised in October about the department’s failure to disclose records related to its Russian interference investigation.

    The department’s delayed transparency has interfered with congressional investigators’ review of what should already be public records. Congressional investigators have been required to view Crossfire Hurricane documents in the department’s secured facilities, and the department has been unable to confirm which records are subject to Trump’s declassification directive.

    “…our staff should not have to spend potentially multiple days and countless hours in the Department’s classified facility only to play a guessing game with the Department about what document may or may not be covered by the declassification directive and potentially review records that have already been produced to Congress.”

    The senators are calling on the department to explain the steps it’s taking to comply with the year-old transparency order and ensure that records aren’t further subjected to unnecessary redactions.

    “Our oversight efforts are based on our unyielding belief that the American people deserve to know the complete truth about the Crossfire Hurricane investigation,” the senators wrote.

    We are in receipt of your January 20, 2022, letter which was sent in response to our October 13, 2021, letter. We remain concerned that over one year from the date then-President Trump directed the Justice Department to declassify certain Crossfire Hurricane records the Justice Department has not only failed to declassify a single page, the Department has failed to identify for Congress records that it knows with certainty to be covered by the declassification directive.

    Your letter noted that on July 9, 2021, the Department “offered to compare the documents we understand to be covered by the Memorandum with the documents that had been previously provided to Congress…” However, your letter also stated that the Department “has been taking steps to determine” which documents can be disclosed and that review is “ongoing.” It is incumbent upon the Department to determine which records are covered by the declassification directive and it is clear from your letter that the Department – after more than one year – has yet to get the job done. Moreover, the Department has refused to commit to producing records to Congress without Freedom of Information Act and related redactions.

    When the Department is able to (1) identify with certainty the records subject to the declassification directive; (2) confirm the records are not those that have already been reviewed by our staff; and (3) agree that no improper redactions will be placed on those records, our staff stand ready to review in camera prior to production to Congress. Absent those conditions, our staff should not have to spend potentially multiple days and countless hours in the Department’s classified facility only to play a guessing game with the Department about what document may or may not be covered by the declassification directive and potentially review records that have already been produced to Congress.

    Further, your letter failed to accurately recite the communications between our respective staff. For example, our staff have insisted – on many occasions – that the Department must first identify the records subject to the declassification order and, second, produce those records to Congress and the American people without improper redactions. Our oversight efforts are based on our unyielding belief that the American people deserve to know the complete truth about the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

    Finally, regarding your compliance with the declassification directive, your letter failed to provide any information about the actions taken to determine which records fall under the scope of the declassification directive, the number of records identified to-date and the extent to which the identified records will be declassified. We request a detailed response with respect to those questions and a commitment to the aforementioned conditions no later than March 1, 2022.

    So, Trump has a paper trail a mile wide for the declassification of the Crossfire Hurricane documents.

    That is a simple fact!!

    No one can dispute that.

    Those documents effectively nail the Democrats and expose the FBI’s malfeasance in the attempted coup/racket to remove a sitting president … treason.

    The DOJ/FBI has lost any credibility after the raid on Mar A Lago

    Another simple fact.

    What if the empty folders contained these documents?

    What if they were removed by the DOJ/FBI and the Special Master turns them up?

    The mainstream/drive-by media have raced forward and accused Trump of stealing, thereby defaming him. Trump could clean up.

    Trump probably has all the documents scanned and off site.

    I think the DOJ may have to appeal and hope they win because they sure don’t want any independent person turning up those documents.

    By now they have probably figured out Trump has other means of producing them.

    There are whistle blowers going to Grassley and Johnson re the Hunter Biden laptop and we have already seen the FBI get rid of the agent responsible.

    What if the declassified Crossfire Hurricane documents leaked in their folders?

    The FBI/DOJ are the ones that may have to worry about a mole.

    It is also indisputable that none of these declassified ‘Cross Fire’ documents with supposedly incriminating details have been leaked to right wing media in these six months or so … simply because this is a NONSENSE!! Another simple fact.

    Well that would be very remarkable wouldn’t it. Consider that Mr Solomon the right wing journalist and Mr Kash Patel the former WH adviser/NSC aide/FPOTUS henchman were designated as FPOTUS agents to liaise with NARA and as such would have had FULL access to all these alleged declassified docs … it’s PURE cow dodo that the details of any wrongdoing would not already have been published. Leaks run out just as easily for Republicans as for Dems! …. Another simple fact.

    1) He or she needs SECUITY EXPERT high level clearance … and why will that be necessary! Oh right, because there are so many highly classified government papers to be reviewed … oh wait, maybe they can get you as special master cause after all the docs are ALL declassified, right! LOLLL … That simple high level clearance need alone sinks his entire case defense about ‘declassification’ and should nail him …. Be careful, they say, what you wish for!

    2) Master he or she will also affirm by cataloguing the docs that this man had his personal materials stored in boxes with top secret GOVERNMENT papers which clearly makes him complicit in inappropriately handling secret data for which he had NO authority post WH so to do.

    For that reason I support the SM appointment although it is so flawed legally and rationally … if appointed there can be NO DOUBTS about the veracity of the paperwork afterwards!
