Rumblings around the globe are predicting a food shortage, but can the citizens believe the power-driven politicians and the lying leaders? Even leaders of sovereign nations are known to manipulate and spew falsehoods. Why? Because they can – especially when the mainstream media is in their back pocket and their front pocket.

Is it more a matter of supply chain issues, inflation and the cost of food products, ongoing effects from the coronavirus pandemic, or the recent war between Russia and the Ukraine?

It depends on what the controlling globalists want you to believe. It depends on what the leaders of the Great Reset (aka New World Order) pass on to mainstream media for headlines. Don’t bother reading USA Today, the New York Times, or the Washington Post. Don’t bother watching CNN or MSNBC. And the owner of FOX limits information.

Watch the documentary “Monopoly, Who Owns the World?” by Tim Gielen and find out what companies own what mainstream media news outlets: television, newspapers, magazines, websites. Find out what companies own the food factories. Peruse the shareholders – Blackrock and Vanguard are major players.

“President Biden on Thursday warned of global food shortages as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine — predicting that the war would upend global wheat supplies,” according to a March 24, 2022 article in the New York Post. But President of the U.S. Biden is onboard with the New World Order as he recently stated.

The World Food Programme (WFP) is the world’s largest humanitarian organization. The WFP is governed by the WFP Executive Board, which consists of 36 Member States and provides intergovernmental support, direction and supervision of WFP’s activities.

The United Nations signed a contract with Klaus Schwab, Founder of the World Economic Forum. So, the UN is onboard with the New World Order. “You will own nothing and you’ll be happy,” says Schwab. Bill Gates is pushing humans to eat plant-based diets, synthetic meats, and bugs. Trusting the members of the New World Order is like allowing a weasel into the henhouse.

Read the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. It rings with utopian bliss. The UN rhetoric reads like a savior that is coming to save the planet and humanity. But a false savior has to first create a false problem – so they can ride in to save the day with a false solution.

In other words, the United Nations will ask/request/demand that all citizens of all nations give up all money, property, and possessions for the sake of feeding humanity. It’s called global communism. Say farewell to freedom, democracy, and liberty. While the elites at the top of the pyramid wine and dine – the servants at the bottom obey orders.

“14 ways to PREPARE for food shortages around the world,” is a 2022 article by Glenn Beck.

Citizens, as you stock up on canned food and staples, buy some extra to share with your neighbors – if and when, a food shortage arrives.

See what i mean, thought the reason for the war was to prevent this very outcome…tells us that every measure is in and of itself a counter measure, we can’t make this up….Pacha…don;t know who is in control…but..

    “Ruble is year’s best-performing currency

The Russian ruble strengthened slightly above 63 per dollar for the first time since February 2020 and hit a five-year high against the euro at 66 rubles on the Moscow Exchange.

Thus, the ruble is the biggest gainer with a 12.5% increase against the US dollar among the 36 major currencies and has overtaken the Brazilian real, which is up 10.1%, to become the world’s best performing currency this year, according to Reuters. “

If the CBR allowed it to strengthen it would surpass the USD in value. Why? It is not fiat and underlying values are based on it demanding that those real values forces it higher and higher. Nabulina the governor has a real good problem. An uncertainty of war. Why diplomats work so hard to avoid uncertainty. You never know where things will end up.

The fact that Russia is awash with natural resources should have given decision makers pause…but..

The greater war and encirclement is to aquire all those resources, break up the RF into mini states.
A war of conquest. A colonial war even. Churchill and Hitler both referred to Russia as the great prize. These Anglo-Saxons have been trying to accomplish this for centuries before Napoleon and after Biden.

The big brains in the West, if there are any left, know the truth but not the masses.

Obama did not mess with Russia because as he said ‘Russia has escalators dominance’ but Biden, Nulands Vidman and a cabal of neocons some of whose ancestry goes back to western Ukraine think they know better.

The military generals in the Pentagon, as distinct from the State Department, know the real deal, that Russian is playing with kid’s gloves in Ukraine. Maybe these same generals have lost every war but they are not foolish.

In all the war game scenarios Russia defeats the USA and NATO by wide margins. Uncertainty yes, but game theory simulations are the nearest to the real thing. Even Iran defeats the USA in conventional war game scenarios, all the time.

Let Finland and Sweden make a wrong move. Then the real bear will roar.

Yesterday as we were talking about diplomacy we realized that nothing was heard from the doyen of Russian diplomacy in nearly a week.

Thought this was rather strange so we investigated and found that he was being disciplined, seemingly, for comments which influential people in the Kremlin, maybe including Vladimir Putin it seem, thought were escalatory.

To us, given the height of rhetoric coming from all sides, these comments were par for course.

What could we parse and read into this? One, that Russia is still a highly conservative country which never had any innate cultural disposition for communism as recent histories are starting to show. That that project like neoliberalism might have been imposed from outside.

Two, that there are fine margins and the slightest miscalculation or misplaced words can have grave consequences.

    And on and on.

Here is Lavrov with the comments which appeared to have been anathema but to this writer well within the boundaries of the present discourses.

    You are soooooo right!

The Western predilection is Putin the dictator, the one man show, kill Putin as some here asked for.

But Russia is a vastly more intellectually dynamic country than anywhere we’ve been in the West.

What people fail to realize, a few things, that Putin has been under pressure to take actions to save Russian peoples stranded by the collapse of the USSR, pressure for over a decade.

That the second most popular party in the Duma are the communists.

That there are rigorous debates in Russia about everything and at all levels.

Of course, there are many more things constituting our ignorance about Russia included those listed by Dullard yesterday.

We dismiss what we see as BS and accept what’s valid … as we have done for years and do daily from all the other experts who spew in media and at UN or wherever. They are lots of folks who spew BS!

So I find the remarks hilarious and pointedly hypocritical as this is a BLOG afterall which is specifically soliciting all and sundry opinions … AND the one complaining about “fake experts” is the principal one parading all bout de blog opining on eva cockfight and Sousie bashment.

What is crazy is the creation of conditions in which nuclear war is inevitable..

We just told you that the Russians are conservative people. They sent 30 years trying to enter White Western systems, even NATO.

Before that, under Gorbachev, they proposed the total elimination of all nuclear weapons.

And now you surround them with your military bases which host nuclear weapons and your biological warfare labs

@Skinner, for all practical purposes I can’t think of any major wars which were NOT “highly ideologically driven” and undoubtedly this ENTIRE Putin agenda is driven by his need to reduce (destroy) western ideological dominance in all its guises (reserve currency, control of world finance levers, human rights etc) Just saying!

@The Pacha, reading your posts often remind me of the power of propaganda. Your statements appear quite benign but are loaded with ‘ideological’ innuendo, thus my link back to the remark above from @Skinner.

**How or by whom would it not be known that mother Russia and her Bolsheviks who were the proud provenance of the USSR is NOT a vast, very intellectual dynamic country. These are the people who have birthed great art with musical composers of repute, choreography of world class artistic expression and then too their masterful scientific achievement with space missions … in short from the Arts to the Moon and beyond they have excelled.

So if you specifically perceive that they are a “vastly more intellectually dynamic country than anywhere [you’ve} been in the West” then that’s awesome for YOU but ‘propagandistic’ as a comparative! … Despite or regardless of ALL the wonders of Russia and by extension it’s satellite states the POLITICS is fraught with the same blood and gore and autocratic hegemony which you and others find disgusting in western capitals. It is thus very amusing to read about this exceptionalism accorded to Putin and the history before him of Gorbachev or Stalin or Lenin or Trotsky.

** “The Western predilection is Putin the dictator, the one man show, kill Putin as some here asked for” is a completely false propaganda narrative about western intent. The facts of life in Russia is that it’s PUTIN who orders assassinations of those who challenge his authority …in fact it has been the way of the Russian Bear for centuries. Many a dis-trusted prior comrade in arms is sent into exile, to be tortured in jail or be killed. As was the fate of Putin’s adversary – that Yelstin deputy and many others!

**I expect that no one who has an interest in Russian or world politics should be UNFAMILIAR with Putin’s efforts or “pressure” to move Russia (and its kindred satellite states) from the economic woes following Gorbachev’s ‘Glasnost’. The nation progressed superbly well because of positive actions and the significant resources and obvious skills the citizens possessed. Of that there can be nothing but praise … BUT the autocrat that was Putin also suppressed political dissent, orchestrated his supreme power by switching from President to PM with Medvedev until he had his constitution modified to enable this latest and last election to the Presidency.

**And what a lark of a laugh. So what if the communists are the “second most popular party in the Duma”. Why is that strange, Russia is a communist nation founded on those principles and have shed much blood and lives for those beliefs has it NOT! Why should the communist part ever really NOT be popular particularly when autocratic leaders control the levers of power and can get rid of any and all political opposition! A comparative look at the the US shows the autocratic brand of Republican power also enjoying sky-high levels of popularity and if that man had ANY of the supreme power wielded by Putin he would now still be president of the US. Absolute power corrupts!

**“That there are rigorous debates in Russia about everything and at all levels” is a truth lacking context. You can have rigorous debates but beware … if like oppo leader Navalny you push the Bear too rigorously with your debate skills you don’t just get cussed … rather you get accused as being a western lackey, poisoned and imprisoned. If you are a feminist singing band you get imprisoned for ‘sacrilege’ and if you are a former agent and leave the country and still criticize the Bear you get poisoned!

So yes, I agree that ignorance of Russia is nonsensical as that nation is too deeply entrenched in world politics to disrespect its awesome achievements … nonetheless, propaganda of Russian exceptionalism with this refrain of Good vrs western Evil is just as absurdly nonsensical !

I am not grasping your question in PRACTICAL terms. Why would one nation NOT trade with another nation which is a peaceful (relatively so) and productive partner in world affairs??? … Or to pose it differently, when Russia acted as a bully in contravention of accepted norms (poisoning dissidents, shooting down a jet liner, going into Afghanistan) what sanctions did they get that were different to those imposed on Libya Ghaddafi, or Iran circa US Embassy takeover or when Iran were found guilty of ‘heavy water’ production ???

Of course there has been angst with Russia since the divisiveness of the dog-days of the Khrushchev cold war era but at the same time Russia has been a permanent veto super power maguffy with massive resources of excellent human skills and nature…. and have been able to impose it’s will because of that sheer size and resources.

Tell your friend that given the realities of what have transpired in the last 30 odd years Russia under Putin has proven itself a gorrilifant in world affairs in every sphere …the West has ‘tried to beat up on Putin’ but have been stymied at every turn. Also tell him or her that it’s a false narrative to compare the western world’s economic bread-basket aka cheap Chinese labour and facilities to Russia … vastly different scenario there with Xi… VASTLY different.

Everything is done to suit a purpose (for the time) so despite , for example, the US selling arms to Iran (Iran-Contra) I am not sure what is there to say about Iran and their Aytollah theocratic rule vis Western distrust. As the blogger alluded to, that nation has been sanctioned directly and very purposefully indirectly (thus US help) by Israel’s Mossad and Stuxnet. Thus in what context you can describe the heavy pressure on their economy in one way of the other since Jimmy Carter’s days as “Slap on the wrist’ sanctions” is beyond my limited comprehension.

    Lata.

re “Interesting view on Fins and Swedes NATO application. Seems to be an expectation by Alexander Erdogan will be persuaded to support with 30 pieces of silver given sorry state of Turkey’s economy.” @David, STOP IT.

When has Erdogan NOT acted to suit the direct interest of Turkey (and his political self). I suggested to you when you raised this previously that the matter of ‘unanimity’ was debatable. You took me to be talking in the very literal sense that they HAD to be a vote by ALL NATO members. That was not my direct focus because from the day he made his ‘objections’ it was also suggested that it was UNLIKELY that it would reach an actual veto point.

As I reminded you then this man Erdogan is the same NATO member who defiantly went and bought RUSSIAN military systems … that sir was a big WTF moment and surely he got much blow back from within NATO because he was essentially consorting with the perceived enemy…. but that’s Erdogan. His concern (as it should be) is HIS nation and people and the big headache therein are the separatist Kurd … that drove his anger with the US (West) and his Putin friendship… and that was driving his moment of pique re Finland (according to the experts, anyhow).

But all in all he is not a fool so just as he has balanced that strange purchase with his NATO buddies he surely will balance this issue accordingly with them.

You can call it “30 pieces of silver”. I call it REAL WORLD politicking for life and longevity for your country. That’s what leaders are supposed to do!

  40. David
Did you know that Finland and Sweden, after supporting the Nazis in WW2, signed neutrality agreements with the then USSR and therefore Russia as the lawful inheritor.

Those agreements were made after the Nazis in these countries were destroyed. They should feel lucky to have been able to retain their lands.

To renounce such treaties represent an order of law fare emblematic of the times we live in. Times when foundational legal precedents are thrown by the wayside under all kinds of spurious pretexts. This is the new rules based system. The West makes the rules. All others must obey.

Be warned! Russia has 1.5 million men and women under arms, mainly professional soldiers. Only 200k are in Ukraine. Do the maths.

Long before this we warned that Russians do not bluff. They are not like Westerners who talk a lot a shiiiite. When they say that they will not tolerate any more bases on their borders, well you see what’s happening in the area once known as Ukraine. We never learn from history! Another lesson will be required and thusly provided.

@Pacha, why did you omit to note the agreements Stalin and Russia signed with the German empire as well??? What of their secret pacts to divvy up lands and thus to create their desired ethnic enclaves to suit their own purposes and all that!

Why do we use this level of intellectual dishonesty to buttress our ideological positions and interest????

Nazism is a a hateful ‘nativist’ trope and it is expressed in it’s own descriptive hateful way in EVERY society across the world … that you would have the blog believe that the style of NATIVISM that permeates across Russia is so exceptionally different and that it excludes much of the same offensive white supremacist toxicity we see in US, across Europe, in Mid East and other places is absolutely stunning!

That people would accept this nonsense and perceive that the Nazi mentality of some of those in Ukraine is NOT expressed by many within the Russian state can only be described as another ‘big lie’ akin to the election ‘lies’ now accepted as truth by many in the US.

    SMH… propaganda at its best!

  43. We’re importing food to dump

THE WORLD ENVIRONMENT is dictating the need for Barbados to step up its efforts towards actionable steps for creating this “fiscal space” that has become the buzzword.
One place we could do this is our import bill. Barbados’ import bill is $1.69 million for a population of less than 300 000 – $700 million of that bill is food. That is $466 per person per month spent on food and consumables.
As a mother, when things get tight I immediately look at my household spend, looking for ways I can quickly reduce and produce versus consume. Barbados needs to do the same.
What’s more is that a large proportion of the money spent ends up in the garbage. I invite wholesalers to give an honest report of the percentage of goods disposed of annually because they have reached their sell-by or expiry date.
We are buying these products to dispose of them on a little island with no space for the amount of waste we produce. One study showed that our landfills are filled with food waste. Do we need 20 brands of sweetened cereal, including strawberry cheerios, on our grocery shelves when our population is struggling with diabetes and hypertension? We can accomplish two goals – improved health and greater funds to funnel into other activities.
I invite Barbadians to look at the profit reports of these companies annually they are reaping profits at our expense. Time to take a look at the circular approach to sustainability.
We can create legislation that allows wholesalers to sell these products at reduced prices or give them to food banks and other entities without liability as many other countries are doing (see Canada), create specialty stores where customers can choose to purchase these items, but, even better, we can agree that
we do not need to import food in these quantities. We can use the fiscal space for: Investments in alternative fuels – our single biggest import is petroleum and petroleum products. Barbados Light & Power (BL& P) is the distributor of our electricity. If we cannot find an alternative to petroleum products for electricity distribution, we can have all the solar panels we want. If BL& P has no oil, we are all still without lights (see the work being done in Africa and the Philippines with coconut husks, mango seeds and other food by-products we dispose of).
Single-use plastic alternatives – we are importing bagasse plates that are extremely expensive. What is bagasse? Cane trash, something we have at the end of every sugar season, which we dispose of and import plates made of the same material from across the world.
Mulch and animal feed alternatives – from agricultural waste and cuttings. I applaud the efforts already begun.
Health promotion and education – reduce the spending on diabetes and hypertension medications and invest in having the resources and policies we need to provide adequate health services.
Innovation – baby formula is currently scarce and heavily subsidised by the Government; can we produce alternatives?
Now is the time to put our comfortable risk aversion aside and find ways to have money to invest, to put towards disaster planning and contingencies, to reduce the cost of living for the average Barbadian. – SHELLY-ANN FORDE
