On October 3rd, 2021, Arthur Collymore addressed the below comment to me [Heather Cole].

If Phoenix crowdfunding is what Arthur Collymore is referring to, it was perfectly legal as we were in the processing of forming a non-profit.  One person benefits in a Ponzi scheme.   Our operation would have been a modern version of the Barbadian Meeting Turn, therefore benefiting everyone. 

A Barbadian website builder named Alvin Herbert developed a website for us.  It was a fraught with delays from the start.  He did not deliver the finished site on time and what he delivered was a shell and it did not complete our requirements.  When we complained, he removed the site from the Internet. 

The police in Barbados were contacted.   A Police Sergeant tried unsuccessfully to mediate the situation, but Alvin Herbert changed the terms and wanted us to pay him additional funds to complete the work.  I refused and I contacted the Minister responsible for entrepreneurship who referred the matter to the Public Counsel.  A complaint was filed however to date, the Tribunal has not met.  

Loosing over $2000.00 and the website devastated the group’s morale and that is what caused the group to fall apart. We have not been able to get another website built as yet.  If any scamming was done it was by Alvin Herbert.   

I even sent a copy of the draft proposal for Phoenix Crowdfunding to the Minister (Kerri Symmonds), asking if it could become operational in Barbados.  He said it was not his Ministry, but he could pass it on to the Ministry of Finance.  I have not received any response from that Ministry to date. 

My question for Arthur Collymore is why something to help the poor and unemployed is looked upon as a scam and why a plan to rob the Treasury of Barbados by Mark Maloney is not a scam?

 On a more positive note, if anyone out here has a reasonable solution for this website, contact me.  I am submitting the draft proposal for all to see.  There is nothing sinister contained therein.

    Still waiting to hear from you if Maloney bid on the vaccines. After all you said it was most “ telling” he never bid on anything from your twin. BLPDLP same thing.

    @ Pacha wants to know how you manage to sleep ; it’s more like where is your shame. Sleep on , you shameless……………you of all people should not be critical of anybody on BU being partisan because your are in the same BLPDLP boat.

Take this blogpost for example, not one ah wunna knew what Phoenix Crowd Funding was about but jumped all over the comments talking piss and ’bout scams. Wunna don’t argue facts, pure speculation, conjecture, misinformation, disinformation and plain lies. When I drop my facts wunna can’t dispute, but resort to cussing me. Support the clown Wura above then question my integrity. 🤣🤣🤣

    So what about the vaccine SCAM where yall DID NOT NEED ANY VACCINES….but got an agent running trying to buy COUNTERFEIT …St. Lucia said they did not need any just then, but apparently were coerced, Bahamas said they did not need an they had a batchy, Barbados had DONATIONS…so what yall needed an agent running hither and yon for….now it’s a court case…..big scandal..

    I was strictly dealing with the dude charging only 2K for building a website that could run into thousands, that Heather, if she had the time could build herself, and save herself grief, lots of money, learn a new skill and keep people out of her business, and the fact that he did not deliver says lots about him…..

    ..people start endeavors all the time, and unless someone says they got robbed by the Phoenix entity…..what you are hinting at is a DUD

    but i can tell you how many Black people and others got robbed by the thieving lawyers, pretend leaders and frauds in the minority community…people are still making videos….

    building a website that could run into thousands, ..as PLT rightly said it can run into tens of thousands of dollars because it’s not only about building the website…if someone told me they are charging me 2K one, i would look at them as very strange before running….but that is because i know and have been exposed to people who have those specialized skills…and understand what’s required…

    as a billion dollar project manager, ya should share what you know, if anything, with her….i did.

    As usual, I, the “damaged goods” had no problem admitting my error. I scanned rather than read and missed crucial details.

    I admit that I am still struggling with the fact that somebody could believe that $200 could grow to $ 22,500 without any identifiable effort to grow it by investment or WORK.

    I really do not know what to make of this at all.

    I am feeling that familiar disoriented Alice in Wonderland kinda feeling I have experienced from watching the last five years of Donald Trump in action.

    I guess I read sense into nonsense because I do recall seeing the reference to a “meeting turn” and ignoring the obvious signal that it was not the agricultural proposal of the last submission.

    My question is – when did it morph into this tangled mess or did I misread the last submission as well?

    I am constantly having to recalibrate my preconceived notion that all human beings are capable of a degree of rational thought.

    My brain is still reeling from this one.

    I think lucky. I could not have survived fifty years of knowing the mess that is the human “thought” process.

    If the Ministry of Finance had expressed interest in getting it off the ground to help Barbadians, would you be singing this song today? Your Party seems dead set against the poor people of Barbados getting economic empowerment. What has happened to the plan to let householders sell energy on the grid? There has been no mention of it for moths but almost every major plantation is equipped for the industry. It looks like the memo left out the households. Is this the latest heist while everyone is distracted by Covid-19?

    Heather…everyone has a different way of setting up business ventures, you are going the transparent route because it involves the public as investors, but you may want to only tell your stakeholders the important stuff, and keep everything else closer to ya chest, because ya see the little government pimps are all over the details and they are only good for sabotaging Black people.

    I did mine differently, the consortium of crooks had no clue that the last two years were spent waiting for them and the sellout frauds in the parliament and the additional criminal minorities across the Caribbean who it is known would redirect their thieving gaze to OUR continent, ably assisted by the frauds who are so dirty, they would give them right of way and leave the descendants to look on……they just could not help their criminal selves..it’s their last gasp and they have gotten so BRAZEN they believe they can use AFRIKA to set up a brand new currency system for themselves across the Americas and STILL have Black/Afrikan people in the region under their feet with their knees planted firmly on their necks…..

    so it was easier to understand what to do in that regard and of course because of those known as empty headed as*holes and the imps and pimps on BU, i was not going to post anything to the blog…chose which information you want publicized and make sure it’s nothing that can be used as a weapon against you.

    ..the negro will never learn, being captive runs in their blood streams.

    that model would have been devised from half century ago and born completely out of frustration and desperation, with survival the only goal, like now, but this is a different time, calling for different measures, best to develop your own system to match the current social and financial environment, you may want to ask PLT kindly for some tips, he has a vast range of knowledge about things financial…and i doubt he will refuse…can’t hurt to ask.

    just remember going forward that website building has many moving parts AFTER the site is built…so prepare for the costs.

    I hope you understand that in our culture as @Pacha implies, when we try a venture and it fails, the vultures fly over us and try to pick every piece of flesh from off our bodies. Rest assured , if your venture had succeeded, the same analysts and know it alls, would be on BU praising you in abundance. They would even be bold face enough to say that they were with you all along. These criminals did the same thing with @ PLT’s Home Stamp. They criticized it left right and centre but when their political masters , stole it in broad daylight, they did not say a word but came here on BU pretending that they had endorsed the idea.
    Th same frigging thing was done to Rihana . When she was made an Ambassador (Cultural), they balled for murder and said she dressed skimpily and was not a good role model. They really expected her to fail and fade. However, once she became a huge success , and started top open her pocket book, she became “our Riri” and is now a national icon.
    Listen my sister, if you try planting something, a neighbour would pass and tell you : “dem can’t grow there.” However if it ever catcesh root and start to bear fruit, that same neighbour would tell you what a great idea it was and probably end up consuming more than you. Press on sister……press on.

    Some criticism must be seen as constructive. Advice to Heather to ensure rigorous due diligence and co-opt persons with requisite skill sets to assist is constructive. No need to parade on your soap box. You will recall the PLT mentioned he consulted with many professionals when he went about honing his welcome stamp program.

    @ Donna, stalled. I did not know that it would be so difficult in obtaining Agricultural land. The tender has expired for Todd’s. The statement was that they are waiting on the Ministry of Agriculture.
    I did the FEED training program. We should, but heaven knows when as no timeline was given receive a 2 acre plot.
    Someone sent me some details yesterday for PPP that is for Agriculture, We will apply.

    @William, brother why u conflate things like that re the 8:45 AM submission.

    Envy is a well etched stain on many a Bajan fah truth but also in Jamaicans, Trinis, Georgians where they say u now reside and all others far and near … so on that we agree that Ms. Cole got some envious lashes but come now, is her proposal meritorious or a mere pretty idea ??? … As @PLT set out it’s fundamental a non-starter!

    Every blogger here – the sharp tongued and those like a Dean Cumberbatch – have presented excellent ideas or commentary and ALSO got hot lashes when they offered opinions that were not considered sound!

    So yes one presses on in the face of harsh criticisms but good sir no one forces us to prostrate ourselves in this public forum, so if u present what was described above as “[t]his proposal makes no sense, then please let’s cut the sweet platitudes and seek CLARITY.

    This is not first or second form when our nice essays which were full of grammar flWs and illogic are given nice encouragement…. no.

    We are all experienced in various fields and some very successful leaders in business … one such leader @PLT so kindly dissected the proposal for Ms. Cole who can contact him to get the free advice he has offered.

    The proposal as offered is NONSENSICAL… so please let’s stop massaging Ms Cole … there are excellent spas in Bim (one in St.George comes highly recommended) and if she needs a pleasant back rub (or ego massage) then seek such there… don’t come to this forum with half baked ideas and expect to be hailed a great chef to be!

    The lady is a sweetheart by all accounts but what the badword does THAT have to do with an unworkable business proposal… does Ms Cole know how many business fail (ratio wise) in first year or two… let the lady get serious input from @PLT … the platitudes are misplaced at this time.

    And BTW @PLT’s proposal withstood withering critique because it was valid and had sound metrics … there is NO comparison to this one … NONE atall.

    Long overdue in Barbados are institutions whereby the people can help dig themselves out of poverty. Everything does not have to have a profit motive behind it.

    Charities run by the rich are created to make them richer or exist or the public purse. Barbadians should not have been placed in a position to depend of the Sandy Lane charity for survival, as happened earlier this year.

    Offer more than negative criticism to the project there is a lot of work to be done.

    @Ms Cole, respectfully … no I was NOT harsh (as being non constructive) … my. coments were direct and went to the core of getting you to recognize your proposal needed work.

    Definitely @PLT will guide you well.

    And if u perceive that I have to roll out what I have or have not done in order to accept or not my purposeful (harsh in your view) comments then … bon chance…. look for the sweet remarks den.

    I NEVER demean or dismiss … your proposal made no sense thus a label of ‘nonsensical’ is not harsh … maybe I should have said it as PLT did: how do you guarantee that one payment of $100 can get to your funds goal? (Clearly that was badly written in your proposal .. was the doc vetted properly) How does that practically work over many months???

    This is the real world @Heather … come with well detailed offers… we all get the fact that we can do better…. but simply saying that does not a miraculous operation make.

    I don’t know if it’s similar to what Ms Cole is proposing, but, I’ve heard from two persons involved and seen advertised, about a system in which people invest different sums of money and their ROI is, in some cases, at least 200%.

    For example, if I invested $500, I could earn as much as $5,000 or more, depending on how many people I introduce to the system and the amounts they invest.

    Thought I commented yesterday. But be careful when the return seem too great. There is probably a fair amount of risk involved.

    A next thing you should keep your eyes open for is affinity fraud, where the
    seller appear to share similar interest or traits.

    At the start of covid, I saw a number of black individuals pushing trading stocks. They appeared overnight and disappeared as well.

    Don’t get greedy..

    As one of the developers working on this project I will cearly state to all. This woman is a poisonous liar who tried to rip off someone and now proceeds to spread lies. I have been present for every interaction during this process including the conversation with the barbadian mediator who you got involved then clearly told you to pay what is due to proceed. You were looking for free work you did not agree to and refused to pay him when is clearly stated everything requested was completed and would require further investment for you to have the additional implemented. I will be poting all emails and text interactions for all to see. People work too hard for you to want to swindle free work. I told my associate you were a scammer and not to take your contract. Unfortunately he did… Shame on you for trying this man’s name through the mud. shame on you.
