In February a group of men decided to convene a Bible Reading on Sunday evenings via zoom Ideally, at a Bible Reading, the participants usually come prepared, to discuss the selected passage, having meditated on, and researched the selected passage and any obvious related collateral scriptures, and they usually come to a consensus during the proceedings. When 2 Timothy was selected, I wondered why. But God’s prescient hand has been revealed to me as I have prepared my notes for each session,  and presented them here on Sweet Sunday Sermon.

This week we will explore 2 Timothy 2:14,and 16-19, under the title Approved and Disapproved Workers and Using the Bible Properly

” instead of constantly genuflecting to some man-made political idol draped in red and drinking from the red goblet of lies and BS while regurgitating the same propaganda with a crimson dildo stuck up his political rear end shouting:”

somethng is deeply wrong with those who like politics…it freezes their thought processes.

  3. Perhaps when Jesus was saying his stories and when people were writing up his yarns they were stoned to the bone and when Moses had his visions with a burning bush it could well have been a holy herb tree

“Oath Keepers ‘associate’ of Roger Stone – ARRESTED

Federal agents have arrested Roberto Minuta – a man linked to the far-right militia group the Oath Keepers, reported News 4.

Minuta, 36, was identified by CNN for providing security to Roger Stone in the hours before the Jan 6th Capitol riot.

He has been charged with obstructing an official proceeding, entering a restricted building, and tampering with documents and proceedings.

Minuta was released on a $150,000 bond.”

  6. DO YOU NEED TO BE SAVED FROM YOUR SINS?
Acts 17:30-31 gives the perfect answer to this question.
30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

  7. The First Commandment

“I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me.”
    —Exodus 20:2–3
If you or I had written the Ten Commandments, we may have prioritized some over others. For instance, we might say the most important commandments are “you shall not murder” and “you shall not commit adultery” (Exodus 20:13–14 NKJV).

After all, no matter how our culture is going, it seems like we could all agree that murder and adultery are wrong.

Yet it’s interesting how God began the Ten Commandments: “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me” (verses 2–3 NKJV).

The first commandment deals with everything. Jesus said, “‘And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment” (Mark 12:30 NKJV).

So, if we get this down, then we’ll have the Ten Commandments working in our lives. If we love God with all our hearts, souls, and minds, then we won’t have other gods before Him. We won’t bow down before false images of God or take His name in vain.

And if we love God with all our hearts, souls, and minds, then we’ll set aside a day to worship Him. We won’t steal from others or lie to them or murder them, and so forth. The reality is that if we love God, then we’ll do the right thing. And we’ll want to honor Him in the right way.

It all starts with God’s place in our lives because we’ll serve what we worship. If God isn’t number one in your life, then everything else will be in chaos. But if God is number one in our lives, then everything else will find its proper balance.

Well said.If we obey the first commandment then the other 9 fall into place. They are merely elaborations on the same theme. It is very difficult to love and not obey.

Legon Journal of the Humanities, Volume 30, Issue 2, Pages 33-65
    Publication year: 2020

In this paper, we endeavor to restore Mꜣꜥt ‘Maat’ as truth to her rightful place by challenging erroneous and demonstrably incorrect notions as they appear in Ataa Ayi Kwei Armah’s Wat Nt Shemsw: The Way of Companions. By cross-referencing Ataa Armah’s vague allusions to “ancient Egyptian” mythology with actual textual documentation from Kmt ‘Black Nation/Land of Blacks’ (so-called “ancient Egypt”), we will interrogate the assertions made about the myths of the kmt(yw) ‘Black people’. We fi nd that where Ataa Armah’s statements are at odds with the texts of Kmt ‘Black Nation/Land of Blacks,’ it is necessary to bring this information to light so that the reader can learn the actual content of these myths for themselves. In conclusion, we find that to truly understand Kmt ‘Black Nation/Land of Blacks,’ Afrikan champions interested in restoring the truth of Mꜣꜥt ‘Maat’ must let the Ancestors speak without Eurasian interpreters or interpretations.”

  16. What is Biblical faith?

Did you know that the words “faith” and “faithful” are different? To “have faith” is to trust God. Faith is a spiritual feeling that resides in your heart. To “be faithful” is to harness this spirit to act for good in the world. Do you know who the Bible points to as a model of faithfulness?

    Moses the Faithful Lawgiver
According to the Book of Hebrews, “Moses was faithful in all God’s house as a servant, to testify to the things that would be spoken later” (Heb. 3:5). What does it mean that Moses was faithful? Moses didn’t just lead the Israelites, delivering them from slavery. He faithfully authored the Torah (the first five books of the Bible), accurately writing the Hebrew words revealed to him by the Lord on Mount Sinai.

    The Underpinnings of the House
The accuracy of the Hebrew in the Torah is a sign of Moses’ fidelity. These words are not just ancient stories in an ancient language. They “testify to the things that would be spoken later” –providing prophecies which point to the Messiah. The Old Testament is the rock-solid foundation upon which “God’s house,” the grand edifice of the New Testament sits. You cannot fully appreciate the ministry of Jesus without understanding the Hebrew Scriptures.

Appreciate the beauty of “God’s house”
We are told that like Moses before him, “Christ was faithful over God’s house” (Heb. 3:6). Like Moses, Jesus was supremely concerned with fidelity to the Word of God and devoted to authenticity. He only read the Old Testament in the original Hebrew. Today fidelity to the Bible still begins with Hebrew.

  17. You must subscribe to reincarnation if you believe Jesus is returning again. But, you probably do not subscribe to the belief that Marcus Mosiah Garvey was a Black Moses, or Haile Selassie was a Black Jesus God incarnate as hailed by Rastafari Movement.

Likewise you probably dismiss all other faiths and religions except your own and also probably know nothing about them either.

I sampled the music. I noticed that a lot of what you post is just “instrumental’ music. Sometimes it reminds me of techno music that my son plays.

At the start of the Garvey post, the voice sounded very much like MLK. It took me a few seconds for the difference to register,
