Pandemic Fever is upon Us All. Our lives, economic and social existence transforming before our eyes.

This covid-19 Moment will continue for a long time. The news that We will be seeing a medical boost in the near future is great and happily welcomed. I believe the Global Community will be dealing with COVID-19 and its possible mutations for years. The Medical marvels we will be seeing is not my concern.

Economic Survival: By the time we have defeated COVID-19 The Global Community will be broke. Think of it. Trillions are being spent throughout the world. Debt upon Debt. This debt is in all of our books. With our present type of economic system,  we must pay it back.

Governments (City, state/Province/National) are presently spending billions of currencies throughout the world, money they do not have in their budgets or plans. Emergencies call upon Us All to respond. This response often requires sacrifice.

Sacrifices: Interpersonal and Community sacrifices yes. Mask wearing, distancing one from the other, not gathering in groups. Yes painful and distressing to us all, but what is coming will be differently worst.

Economic survival shapes us all. We all have to work and achieve. Money is always involved. Starting in 2021 Governments will be increasing taxes to attempt to pay off their debt. Higher taxes, different types of taxes will be applied. Rich and poor cannot hide from the many taxes and charges we will all experience. Our economic system will be challenged by these economic demands. Changes will happen that will be felt by us all.

What if we can go in another direction away from oppressive taxes. What if we can as a global Community achieve something never conceived?

We can nullify COVID-19’s Financial damage and also achieve Environmental Peace. Yes we can begin to actually do something about Climate Change and save our planet.

Forget about all those who deny Climate change exists. Not a problem. The Financial solution suggested will bring about their philosophical transformation  and hopefully bring about some form of Global Harmony.

Global expenditures can be combined into a COVID-19 Treatment – Climate Change Program. We have to spend trillions on COVID-19 Treatments so why not use these funds also to save the planet?

Clean the environment- pursue Climate change protocols. We are often told saving the plant is far to expensive…well lets spend the monies to get the job done.

Uplift all poverty stricken financially. It is the poor nations/smaller nations who will suffer the most from post COVID-19. They have neither medical nor political abilities to fight this pandemic.

The Rich Nations of the world will survive COVID-19 while the poorer nations will not . Like poison ivy this pandemic will come back again and again until it is completely defeated. That means rich and poor nations need to work together. Saving the population and the planet at the same time should happen. Common sense Yes?

Money for electric cars, solar warmed homes, environmentally charged communities, Refining precious raw materials with no expended gases. Imagine refining Coal with  no damage to the environment. It can be done. It is not do to its cost.. We will replace “Profit” with “Achievement”. Replacing “Short Term” with “Long Term” achievement. Governmental involvement in this process will be essential. Corporations just don’t have the balls or inclination to achieve a Green World”. Short term profit cannot be seen by these Corporations.

Solution:  1. ALL DEBT caused by this pandemic MUST BE FORGIVEN. Lets pretend as though it has not financially happened.

Experiences after WW2 show this can be done. The magic of accounting will be needed. In order to save the planet this can be done. Corporations rule this world. They will not do anything unless it profits them in some way. Even survival as a people would be seriously discussed by them.

All of the Global Citizens, Civil and Private Organizations will become “SLAVES” to this debt. Like a Corporate Town we will owe our souls to this Debt In order to survive. This Debt will “Enslave Our Children”.

                                                              LETS BREAK THESE CHAINS.

LETS SAVE OUR GLOBAL VILLAGE ALSO.

My life experience has shown me one thing…that nothing is ever written in stone. Orgabizations and People  can change, adapt and transform. We experience strange situations that show all is possible. Look to The Peoples Republic of China. A Communist Nation and also a powerful Capitalist Nation. If this can happen why not change the physics of financial thought.

We are running out of time here. It is essential that Canada and All Nations respond to Our WORLD. It is ill and dying. Our Global Brothers and sisters are in Need of assistance too.

  1. This group of visitors arrived at the Grantley Adams International Airport yesterday. (Picture by Lennox Devonish.)

    Visitors coming in

Grantley Adams International Airport was abuzz with activity yesterday as the usual hustle and bustle at this time of the year returned.

Tour operators were standing at the arrivals hall holding signs with the names of those they were there to collect, while taximen were milling around awaiting their next customer.

Passengers exiting the hall were masked, with some even wearing additional face shields and gloves. They were quickly whisked away in waiting taxis.

Some taxi operators said while this year had been rough, they were still hoping the winter season would bring more business.(RA)

Morning David, this article is instructive and useful information. Unfortunately, buildings are still being built without windows on each floor to facilitate natural airflow. This article explains how some experts are way off in their modelling of airborne air particulates circulation. Many masks are worn wrong and made from less than decent material to filter a minimum of PM10.

  3. I see the Chinese have sent out for some extra terrestrial samples from the Moon.

Wonder if any virii will be in the sample?

Could the cognoscenti (ie resident experts) opine on the likelihood of the survivability of extra terrestrial virii??

  5. “I CAN’T KEEP DOING THIS”: Doctor pleads for review of data during COVID-19 Senate hearing

Pierre Kory, M.D., Associate Professor of Medicine at St. Luke’s Aurora Medical Center, delivers passionate testimony during the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing on “Early Outpatient Treatment: An Essential Part of a COVID-19 Solution, Part II.”

Dr. Kory says in his testimony at a US Senate Committee hearing there are already approved medications on the register that could be used and are being used effectively in some countries against Covid-19. In particular he mentions a trial in Argentina in which 800 medical personnel were treated with the anti-parasitical drug Intervectin as a prophylactic against Covid-19 and none of them got sick. By contrast, of the 400 medical personnel in the control group who did not receive the medication 58% became sick.

Here is the doctor’s closing summary to the audience of US Senators (from the 9:29 mark):

“Do you know who is dying here? It is our African-American, Latino and Elderly. It is some of the most disadvantaged and impoverished members of our society. (my emphasis /GM) They are dying at higher rates than anyone else. It is the most severe discrepancy I have seen in my medical career, and we are responsible to protect those disadvantaged members. We have a special duty to provide countermeasures. The amount of countermeasures to show that Ivermectin is effective is so immense, and the drug is so safe – my colleagues have talked about it, it must be instituted and implemented. I am asking the NIH to review our data and come with (recommendations)……” NB Video stop prematurely as the doctor is presumably asking that the NIH come with recommendations for implementing a Covid-19 treatment protocol using Ivermectin.

If you think you will get honest evaluations of the safety and efficacity of drugs and vaccines from the FDA, you’ve got to understand the FDA’s approach to drug approval is much like a meat plant’s approach to making sausage – if you saw how it was done and what went into the end product you, would never eat another one (or so it is said).

.“[The] honest employee fears the dishonest employee. There is also irrefutable evidence that managers at CDER (Center for Drug Evaluation and Research of the FDA) have placed the nation at risk by corrupting the evaluation of drugs and by interfering with our ability to ensure the safety and efficacy of drugs. While I was at FDA, drug reviewers were clearly told not to question drug companies and that our job was to approve drugs … If we asked questions that could delay or prevent a drug’s approval — which of course was our job as drug reviewers — management would reprimand us, reassign us, hold secret meetings about us or worse … When you are able to dig in, if you found issues that would make you turn down a drug, you could be pressured to reverse your decision, or the review would then be handed off to someone who would simply copy and paste whatever claims the company made in the summary document … I believe I also have documentation of falsification of documents, fraud, perjury and widespread racketeering, including witnesses tampering and witness retaliation.”— Ronald Kavanagh, Ph.D., pharmacist who reviewed medications for the FDA from 1998 to 2008 as quoted in:

  6. NB The name of the anti-parasitical drug mentioned by Dr. Kory in his presentation is Ivermectin. There is another medication also used as an anti-parasitical called with a similar sounding name called Intervectin. Not sure of the relationship between the two. I used both spellings in my post above. Just wanted to clarify that the doctor specifically was recommending Ivermectin in his speech. to the US Senate Committte.

  7. #PeerReviewed

Let me say without fear or favor the pharmaceutical companies are some of the most corrupt and dishonest companies as reported by investigative journalism.

Sadly most leaders are behaving like sheep and not extrapolating facts from deceit in the Pandemic.

    Do take a read https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT04602507

  8. Doctors would starve if persons ate well and never got sick. Offers medication that solves one problem while creating another in order to create cash flow from patient visits.

Lawyers would also starve if controversy did not exist. No profit in timely resolution of matters. The waste of plaintiff and defendants time so fees can be earned so modus operandi.

Sadly, any persons who thinks beyond fluffy feel good speeches and challenge demigods is considered a treat to the continued milking of blind sheeple.

We are as a people to accept what we are told and follow blindly.

“ In a press conference, researchers said that ivermectin is an FDA-approved anti-parasitic drug that has been available for approximately 40 years and previously earned researchers a Nobel Prize.

Ivermectin is a key factor in the alliance’s I-MASK+ protocol for prophylaxis and early treatment of outpatients with COVID-19. In the protocol, those at high risk for COVID-19 infection receive ivermectin at 0.2 mg/kg on day 1 and day 3, and weekly for 4 weeks; those who were exposed to COVID-19 receive the same dose at day 1 and day 3; and both groups receive daily doses of vitamin D3, vitamin C, quercetin, zinc and melatonin. For early outpatients with COVID-19, the protocol calls for one dose of ivermectin at 0.2 mg/kg at day 1 and day 3, along with the same daily vitamins and 325 mg per day of aspirin.

During the press conference, Marik said that much of the data available on ivermectin in the treatment and prevention of COVID-19 has been published since August, which was the last time the NIH updated its recommendations for the novel coronavirus.”

Pierre Kory, MD, MPA, an associate professor of medicine and a critical care physician at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, said that in the days since their review was written, even more studies have been published supporting the use of ivermectin in patients with COVID-19.

“All studies showed positive benefits — the majority showed a decrease in mortality, decreases in hospitalization,” Kory said.

In light of the positive data on ivermectin in COVID-19, the researchers called on national and global health authorities — including the NIH, WHO and the CDC — to examine the data.

The COVID Pandemic is being exploited for financial gains. Every time I hopped on a plane to Ghana I had to get many vaccines against yellow fever, malaria, Up to many months afterwards I often suffered many side effects such as joint pains, rashes, irritability and nausea.

  10. PM’S ASSURANCE
No need for knee-jerk reaction over UK shutdown, says Mia
Four days after its winter tourist season started, Barbados was dealt a blow with the latest shutdown of parts of London that include the Gatwick and Heathrow airports.
Yesterday, United Kingdom (UK) Prime Minister Boris Johnson scrapped relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions and announced stay-at-home orders in several areas in an effort to halt what he said was a new coronavirus variant that was spreading more rapidly.
The new rules take effect from today.
The UK market is one of the most lucrative for Barbados which had just started to pick up, after a worldwide shutdown back in March, because the COVID-19 pandemic started to ease up.
In response to the news out of England, Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley last night assured Barbadians that tourism ministry officials were on top of the situation and there was no need for knee-jerk reactions since months ago, “when others were waiting to see what would happen, Barbados’ rubber was hitting the road”.
    ‘Prepared’
“The reality is that Barbados has prepared for this crisis. We have put in the infrastructure and the equipment at Harrison Point and at the Best dos Santos Laboratory. We have expanded the numbers of persons to do testing and contact tracing and we have put systems in place to deal with high unemployment and declining visitor revenue to support the private sector generally, and in particular, the tourism sector. And we have a significantly expanded public sector capital works programme and COVID-19 relief programme.
“The Barbados model has been structured to deal with these unfortunate developments overseas as we continue to plan and continuously review our actions,” she said.
While Mottley said there was no need to panic, she warned Barbadians that in spite of the preparation they should remain vigilant daily.
“The only worry I truly have is us dropping our guard in our desire to enjoy this holiday season in our traditional Bajan way,” she said.
It is the second time in a matter of weeks that the UK has gone into lockdown. Last month, there was a four-week lockdown which Johnson said was to prevent a “medical and moral disaster”.
Minister of Health Jeffrey Bostic, who has been spearheading the local response to the pandemic, said authorities did not have the evidence on the new strain but were checking with the Pan American Health Organisation (PAHO).
“Whatever the strain, we need to keep our guard up and ensure that our protocols are followed by all and sundry,” he told the Sunday Sun.
Acting Chief Medical Officer Dr Kenneth George, said Barbados “will continue to maintain our vigilance for travellers coming out of the UK”.
“Countries are allowed to put in measures as they see fit . . . to stem the COVID-19 pandemic,” he said.
Reports of the new strain of the virus coincide with the launch of an immunisation programme in the UK and the United States.
The US Food and Drug Administration on Friday issued an emergency authorisation for a COVID-19 vaccine developed by Moderna, and inoculations should begin within days.
Last week, authorisation was given for the COVID-19 vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech. ( AC)

  12. The PM response reminds me of Trump boisterous outlandish mouthings when the Corona virus hit America shores
The same kind of low keyed talk until all hell broke out
Right now govt is spending billions of dollars keeping the virus from community spread
The question being how much of those billions being spent is of good economic benefit to the country
    Meanwhile unemployment rises
    QEH has limited bed capacity
Households are still burden with the strain of austerity measures and the Virus has revived into a new strain in one of Barbados tourist markets the UK
How long and how much will govt continue to borrow to keep the virus from community spread
Mia is therefore ask where is the economic fix in this unending fight against the virus

  13. Fact Check:

The government of Barbados is not spending billions to keep the virus out. Another bold face lie by a member of the #throwashadecrew.

  14. ACCORDING TO JESUS’ PREDICTION IN MATHEW 24, WE AINT SEE NOTHING YET WHEN IT COMES TO PESTILENCES. MORE PANDEMICS STILL TO COME

4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8All these are the beginning of sorrows.

  15. A good laugh is always good.
I see that BU has a dded a ‘fact check’ feature.

Some are just trying too hard. Making exaggerated and inappropriate statements.
“You go girl” has been replaced by “Stop girl”
Will “spot on” become “Stop. No!!!!”

    Have a great day Barbados

  16. David the ongoing loans where accessed and giving to govt in an effort to supply aid for fighting the virus
Why havent govt giving the amount of money spent so far in the fight
    You say not billions
Then how much needs to be answered

  17. @Mariposa
There are times when I take a delight in reading your contributions. They can be witty and can deliver a sharp crisp punch to an individual. As an example, you used “carrying an umbrella” to blunt an attack of one individual. That was witty. You have also thrown together phrases that were evidence of great an unusual thinking.

But the past few days, you have been a shadow of your former self. I think you are trying too hard and performing for others. This has detracted from the real Mariposa,. You need to get back to your A game. Forget the audience and be yourself.

  18. Listen up Gazzerts i speak from what i observe
What u observe might be totally different
I speak about the ongoing billions being accessed by govt to fight the virus
In reality those loans must be paid back
Hence a civic duty should be asked as to how much
Unless in your mind enough is not enough
In my way of thinking Bridgetown has an economic virus which also needs quick attention
    No!

  19. If any one sees the on going economic benefit of the spend on the virus show me
The country does not have “community spread ”
Govt is on a media blitz to get people to get the vaccine
My mind therefore ask after all this spending how will a population of 275 thousand repay the loans
Not saying that some economic pursuit is not necessary to decrease any effect of the virus
Not at all but a balance must be applied that gives much attention to the country over all social and economic wheels as well
When last have any one heard govt speak about the ongoing crime and a need for finances to be pumped into our social environment
If a dime was offered to me of the many times over the yeats money has been pumped into the tourist economy a good life might be had by me
