  • To many, Nehemiah 3 is a very dull and boring chapter, that appears to consist largely of unpronounceable names and long forgotten people, but once we believe that ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God and that it is profitable for our spiritual and other forms of edification, then it is worth seeking the nuggets therein and apply them to our lives.
  • Chapter 3 of Nehemiah contains the record of the work of repairing the gates and walls of Jerusalem which Nehemiah had been sent there by King Artaxerxes of Persia to do. This chapter tells how that work was actually accomplished.

Nowadays, people who believe there is absolute truth—the Bible, God’s inerrant Word—are often dismissed by people who believe that truth is relative.

If truth isn’t relative how then do you explain your god Yahweh impregnating an under-aged virgin and saddling a 90 year old man with a ready-made jacket?

Is it the ‘truth’ to say that same nonagenarian, like Abraham went, on to sire other boys and girls from the same little lass?

Were these half-siblings to god Joshua seen by Yahweh as demigods in their own right?

Are you going to wait for another 25 solar years like Joseph to step up to the plate and deliver your divine gift to mankind?
