Questions are good; even desirable and encouraged, you only get an answer when you ask a question. I would like you to lend and have a believing ear as I ask and try to answer life’s questions from a scriptural point of view. The scriptures are given for our benefit, for doctrine, for knowledge, for enlightenment, for reproof, for understanding, for wisdom and for our delight/happiness/joy and the abundant replenishing of hope. I sometimes like to think of it as the wisdom of the ancients given to us if only we would look.
Questions we sometimes wonder about as we live our lives.
1. Where did we come from?
2. What is the purpose of Life?

5. How do we accomplish what we are supposed to become? What was the message of all the prophets we read about in the scriptures?

Question #1: Where did we come from? We read in Genesis:
1Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Here we see that the Creation was accomplished, every plant that now exists or has existed or will exist and the same is true for all life including us, His Children. Jeremiah was taught that, “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee.” (Jeremiah 1:5) We were all created spiritually before we came to this earth. Let’s call it a spiritual preexistence.

Question #2: What is the purpose of Life? If we thought about it for a few minutes we will realise that the purpose of life is life. We could say to be happy or have life more abundantly or salvation or eternal life but it is all life. And we are to take joy in our being (existing alive) like we see kids running, playing, jumping and skipping just happy to be alive enjoying the spirit that we all feel at that age.
Question #3: What is our purpose here? In Genesis we know that Adam and Eve did eat of the tree of knowledge of Good and evil. This act caused the fall of man and the earth from the Garden of Eden. Here we are living life and learning the same things they wanted us to learn, namely the knowledge of Good and evil and how to tell the difference. This is huge people. How do we tell the difference? This is why we all have life experiences. One man may need a certain experience and another may need another set of experiences. It is through these experiences that are similar but unique to each person that we grow.
The Creator knows what we need to learn and how we can get those life lessons. It is through adversity that we grow and become strong. When adversity enters our life he is resolute in his take down of us, he is not a respecter of persons. But he does not walk alone he brings with him many companions. A big important and gentle fellow by the name of Humility, another by the name of Empathy, another by the name of Shame, another by the name of Pride Stalker, another by the name of Hope who is all the time present but does not push herself. Hope slowly turns us to see all is not lost, that this is a pruning, although to us it seems harsh. We had allowed ourselves to become overgrown because of our root system and we needed to grow in a particular direction with fresh leaves and strong thick branches not the overly thin branches with decaying leaves that we had hereto been. All with a spirit of love that we find hard to explain because we still reel and feel the pruning from Mr Adversity. In this paradox we continue to experience the gentle feelings of being comforted and at the same time feeling the intense ravages of Adversity. It is at this point we begin to feel the joy of being or should try to feel if we have not yet felt so….

Due to my exposure of enlightenment in University you seek to question whether your money was wasted or squandered at UWI.

So why have you not used the word ‘Gods’ instead of the singular “God”?
The concept of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost is not only a multi-headed monotheistic perspective of ‘Go(o)d’ ‘seen’ from the Christian Faith but also from others like the Hindus who ‘believe’ in the supreme being Brahma (the Light), along with Krishna, Vishnu, Shiva and a host of other ‘gods like Ganesha, Rama and Hanuman all at the same time competing for the adoration of insignificant humans.
What you need to do is to take the advice from another blogger called “Baje” and look for the halo of Light which is depicted behind their anthropomorphic heads and their equivalence to your Judeo-Christian gods and their sons (and few daughters), their disciples and earthly sidekicks called saints.

YES I SUPPOSE I DID DPD Let me try to explain what I, other eschatologists and expositors on EZEKIEL 38 believe.
This passage has for a very long time been interpreted to mean that these 3 nations will come down from the north of Israel together as a coalition, to attack Israel in the end time. We believe that this event is imminent, and that it will occur at the end of what is called in many OT passages as the tribulation, or time of Jacob’s trouble etc.
We cant say yet when this is likely to be, because the time of the tribulation, this event and Armageddon is a function of the rapture.
We have not as far as I know every seen these 3 nations in the bosom of each other as they are today.

The Bible says nothing directly or explicitly about this, but many eschatologists believe that this is mentioned implicitly, in that John in his descriptions in Revelation was apparently only able to describe scenes in his visions in the war at Armagedon according to what he knew, and understood. Many of the OT prophets seem to do the same. We believe that they describe helicopters which they know nothing about, as locusts for example.

Serious honest eschatologists believe that the super power USA will VERY SOON self implode or be rendered helpless or otherwise neutered, and unable to defend Israel.
Even as we speak Netanayu is/has lost power, and the chaos and anarchy in the USA since 2016, appears to point to instability that will support this view. Americans of course do not like to think that this will happen, or is even possible but the writing seems to be on the wall. It is not IF, BUT WHEN!
Most serious Bible expositors do not believe that the now mighty USA will be a player in the end times, as hard as many, especially Americans find it hard to believe. Certainly the time line of history does not mention the USA at all– the prophesies in Daniel, 2 7 & 9 speak only about the empires of Babylon, Mede & Persians, Greece, Rome, and the renewed Roman Empire, which is thought to be the EU BECAUSE the Roman Empire occupied the land area held by the Roman Empire, which incidently was never conquered like the preceeding empires.
Of course we can not say, for sure, as prophesy is best explained after it has happened. We can speak without contradiction about the prophesies in Daniel, 2 7 & 9 about the empires of Babylon, Mede & Persians, Greece, Rome and the crucifixion, because this is now history.
We believe that Antichrist will come out of the EU some time after it is reduced to 10 nations (the ten toes of the image in Daniel) and that this will occur after the rapture of the church as is predicted in 2 Thessalonians 2.

I cant answer that accurately, but I would say that many Evangelicals are very emotional, and are not very well versed in the Word, since they do not regularly and readily search the Word like the believers at Berea in Acts 17:11 who were reported to check the scriptures to see if the things they heard were so or not.
You will note that I always seek to support my view by scriptures that I have checked and researched myself. Like the dear departed Brother Massiah from the church by the side of the road in the late 60’s and early 70’s. I speak where the Bible speaks (or what I understand therefrom) and I am silent where it is silent.
