The idea of divine beings producing children with human mothers is as ancient as mankind itself. Zeus was so prodigious in the siring of offspring with human mothers that an entire cadre of Immortals, such as Hercules, came to permeate much of Greek mythology. That such beliefs are scoffed at today by many of the same individuals who believe their God impregnated Mary simply demonstrates the grip superstition continues to hold on minds that should have evolved more fully over the millennia.

The action of a man who volunteers to die for his fellow men is universally regarded as noble. The extra claim not to have “really” died makes the whole sacrifice tricky and meretricious. (Thus, those who say “Christ died for my sins,” when he did not really “die” at all, are making a statement that is false in its own terms.)

Having no reliable or consistent witnesses, in anything like the time period needed to certify such an extraordinary claim, we are finally entitled to say that we have a right, if not an obligation, to respect ourselves enough to disbelieve the entire claim of Jesus’ Resurrection.

Hercules was not the son of Zeus. Jesus is not the Son of God. Can we not believe this and yet still find his precepts for living with Earth’s fellow inhabitants worthy of emulation? Or are Jesus’ prescriptions and proscriptions only valid if tinged with the Divine?

    The season of Easter invites every one of us to remember the Passover enabled by the Christ. It was always for our benefit. It is from the same enduring pattern… From the very beginning, His Promises were to be realized for each of us. So when life comes in the varieties of pain and sorrow, it’s often then when we drop our heads and forget to look upwards…. To the Heavens, as a reminder of His Power and Majesty. And that amongst all that we can barely see, He still has not forgotten us, and never will. He is the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. His each and every Promise will be fulfilled. Even in the pain and sorrows of our lives…. His Will is sustained by the Father… that we may each of us finish our journey. This Easter Sunday, let us shout for joy in tears and gratitude… for we have not been forgotten nor pushed aside as Satan would have us believe. We are still within His Mind and His Heart, ever to be a part of His Will, never to diminished but to be lifted up where all our tears will be wiped away. Thank you Lord Jesus, for each of us so sustained. Thank you for Your Sacrifice, the Word of Your Instruction, Your loving Kindness… that is quietly revealed… if we would only take the time to look….

    You have to dust of your feet ag there thresholds and depart their homes and cities, and dont look back.

    Triune and EVERLASTING GOD AT CALVARY IS A MYSTERY which even contemplating causes confusion.

    But, because of the fall of the first Adam, the incorruptible Son of God took on the form of man to restore a bridge back to Our God.

    Was Jesus was the First to be Resurrected

    The New Testament gives ample evidence that Jesus rose with His physical body: He ate fish and honey (Luke 24:42–43); He said He had flesh and bones (Luke 24:39); the people touched Him (Luke 24:39–40; John 20:25–29); the tomb was empty (Luke 24:2–3; John 20:1–10); and the angels said He had risen (Mark 16:1–6).

    The Resurrection consists in the uniting of a spirit body with a body of flesh and bones. The Resurrection shall come to all, because of Christ’s victory over death. Jesus Christ was the first to be resurrected on this earth (Matt. 27:52–54; Acts 26:23; 1 Cor. 15:23; Col. 1:18; Rev. 1:5). Others had been brought back from death but were restored to mortality (Mark 5:22–43; Luke 7:11–17; John 11:1–45), whereas a resurrection means to become immortal, with a body of flesh and bone.

    All will not be raised to the same glory in the Resurrection (1 Cor. 15:39–42;), nor will all come forth at the same time (see 1 Cor. 15:23;). Christ was first; the righteous have precedence over the wicked and come forth in the First Resurrection, whereas the unrepentant sinners come forth in the last resurrection (Rev. 20:5–13).

    One of the most fundamental doctrines taught by the Twelve was that Jesus was risen from the tomb, with His glorified, resurrected body, as in Acts 1:21–22; 2:32; 3:15; 4:33. To obtain a resurrection with an exalted body is the center point of hope in the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Resurrection of Jesus is the most glorious of all messages to mankind.

    The Reality of this article is that, no matter how you slice it, “God is a personal experience”

    And, unless you have that experience, no proxy, no voice of Brother, or Sister, or pastor, priest or apostle, or illiterate, will make His Existence true for anyone other than yourself.

    When the scientist in me first sought to prove My God, i was carried down a strange road.

    Again, this is my own experience and WILL NOT BE YOUR OWN.

    AND THEREFORE, what I needed, and still need to be shown, is the empirical evidence that GOD exists and that Jesus the Christ who rose today, and every day, forever, is the Son of God.

    Again I say very loudly, this Belief in GOD is a personal thing, so while it has been indelibly written in my soul, it will roll off many of your individual backs, like water off a duck.

    If you read, sparingly, AND CANNOT UNDERSTAND THAT WHICH YOU READ, (which is the case of many people her, and the wider population) you will have great difficulty understanding GOD, and Jesus the Christ of the Order of Melchizidek.

    Yet he prays to have the death sentence removed
    Why would he pray to removed a death sentence which is now revered by the church as a “saving of mankind”
    Why would Jesus not pay the price willingly as a sacrifical lamb knowning that his body /himself would return to this earth in human form three days later?

    But with the teachers and those who interpret the bible in ways that seem uncommon and illogical to the human understanding
    Experiencing or beliving in The Word negates a full understanding of spirituality which starts with unlocking the moral code that is within or mind and steadfastly seeking to have a closer walk with God in the manner and way Jesus did
    This hocus pocus religious dogma of untruths which is continually taught by the church does nothing for the spiritual life but keeps both the spirtual and physical life locked into a dormant and unsatisfying life like a walking dead.

    The God of the scriptures is a holy being. Man is commanded to be holy because God is holy (Lev. 11:44–45; 19:2). God can be known only by revelation. He must be revealed or remain forever unknown. God first revealed Himself to Adam and has repeatedly made Himself known by revelation to chosen patriarchs and prophets since that time. God the Father and His Son have been manifested by voice, sight, or otherwise at various times, as at the baptism of Jesus (Matt. 3:16–17), the Transfiguration (Matt. 17:1–8), to Stephen (Acts 7:55–56.

    Heb 1-3…1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

    2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

    3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

    He Wants To Reveal Himself To His Children … By This We May Know The Truth Of All Things…

    Spotlight on “Doubting Thomas”

    Have you ever been at a point where you felt that you couldn’t go on unless God stepped directly into your life and made His presence known in no uncertain terms? Maybe you’re there now. The disciple Thomas was there when he declared:

    John 20:25b – Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it. (NIV)

    Thomas is unfairly remembered as “Doubting Thomas” because he wouldn’t accept second-hand information about the risen Christ. Thomas hadn’t been present when Jesus revealed Himself to the other disciples after His crucifixion. He wanted more than their reports. Remember that he, too, had recently endured the utter devastation of everything that mattered. His Master was gone, and the Jesus Way was at a screeching halt, fallen apart, blown to smithereens. No wonder Thomas insisted that Jesus step into his life and reveal His identity.

    I ask: Was that a sign of weak faith? Is it ever a virtue to ignore the heart cry and settle for second-hand knowledge of the risen Christ?

    In our former years, we may have been content with what others taught about Christ. We comfortably rested our faith in their faith. But we didn’t know what to trust Christ for because we didn’t know Him for who He truly is. Our faith was yet to be forged through our own encounter with the revelation of the risen Christ.

    Jesus didn’t chastise Thomas for wishing to see evidence. Instead, Jesus paid Thomas a visit and personally revealed His nail-printed hands and pierced side. Jesus added, “Do not continue in your unbelief, but believe.” (John 20:27b NET) I put it this way: “Thomas, stop suspending belief and believe for yourself. Furthermore, Thomas, thus far you’ve trusted Me as your earthly Master. Now you must trust in Me as I truly am: God!”

    That day, Thomas saw more than nail prints. Thomas saw Jesus as God! That’s not seen through natural eyesight, but through spiritual sight. Thomas responded with a profound declaration of belief: “My Lord and my God!” (John 20:28b NIV) Thus, this disciple more truthfully should be remembered as “Believing Thomas”!

    You and I cannot step back in time and see those nail prints. In any event, our faith doesn’t rest on natural senses, nor does it depend on revelations of His deity to others. That’s shallow faith which washes out during trials and temptations. It can’t sustain us through challenges. However, challenges can make us cry out for revelations of Christ as Lord. That’s when we proclaim our own declaration of faith, and utter, “My Lord and My God!”

    Jesus gave Thomas a delightful promise for all who come to such full-fledged belief: “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” (John 20:29b NIV) May that be said of each of us! May each of us continue to seek His presence —

    WHEN EVER YOU READ ABOUT THOMAS YOU SHOULD GO IMMEDIATELY TO I PETER 1:8 BECAUSE THIS VERSE SPEAKS DIRECTLY TO THOSE OF WHOM JESUS SPOKE IN John 20:29b
    Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

    What does 1 Peter 1:8 mean?

    1 Peter 1:3–12 is one of the most loved passages in all of Scripture. It begins as a blessing to God, but also describes how incredibly He has blessed us in Christ. Because Jesus has risen from the dead, our hope is not a wish—it is as alive as He is. Our inheritance as God’s children is eternal, full of glory, and secured forever. Even in our suffering, we have every reason to rejoice. The mystery of God’s plan has been revealed to us in Christ. We are being saved!

    Christianity—our faith in Christ, the Son of God—is not about a process or a system or a philosophy. It’s not a way of looking at the world or improving ourselves as human beings. It’s about a person. It’s about trusting and loving a person.

    Peter had seen Jesus, and had been personally trained by Him. Peter knew and loved Christ as a man, and as God, based on three years of personal, face-to-face experience. Peter saw Jesus alive after seeing Him dead. The vast majority of the believers reading Peter’s words had never seen the Messiah with their own eyes. Peter seems to marvel at their believing and loving Christ without seeing Him. Maybe Peter was remembering what he heard Jesus say to Thomas, who believed in the resurrection only after personally seeing Jesus’ wounds: “…Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed” (John 20:29).

    As in verse 6, Peter assumes that faith and love this concrete, this real, results in real rejoicing. Saving faith in Christ brings with it a joy which can’t be expressed. Words can’t contain it. It’s a joy full of glory, reflecting our future with Christ in the moment in front of us. Again we see that the choice to rejoice, even the middle of our trials, is an act of faith. It doesn’t require soaring emotions, but it certainly can contribute to them. Joy flows from our growing confidence in the Christ we love.

    Yes Jesus did prayed to His Father to have His death sentence removed …but you also have to remember that the Jesus was both human and Divine at the same time …so the question them becomes: did Jesus suffered in His humanity or in His divinity?

    WHY IS I PETER 1:8 SO IMPORTANT TODAY?

    “Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:”

    Whom having not seen you love:

    Peter knew that though he had seen Jesus, both before and after the resurrection, most every Christian in the early church had not seen Jesus. Yet they loved Him. Jesus was no less real simply because they had not seen Him.

    Christians in the contemporary church have not not seen Jesus either but there is an equality between the believers in the present time, and those who lived in the time of the incarnation; for Christ, to a believing soul, is the same to-day that he was yesterday and will be for ever.”

    The word translated “joy inexpressible” “occurs only here in the New Testament, and describes a joy so profound as to be beyond the power of words to express.”

    Our joy is no ordinary, earth-born joy.

    Thomas was not doubting
    Thomas was being obedient
    Thomas remebered what Jesus told him that there would be a time when people would say ” look he is here and there” and not to belive them
    Thomas acted on those words in obedience to what Jesus had told the disciples before his death
    Now here we have another revealation where Jesus speaks to his disciples of his physical death where he indicates that his apperance in flesh after his death would not be made known to them

    The Resurrection in the Book of Job

    One of my favorite places about resurrection of the old testament is actually in the oldest book in the Bible: Job. When Job was at the very end of himself, having lost everything and having been ridiculed and question by his closest friends, he turned to God and the hope of the resurrection as he declares:
    “Oh that with an iron pen and lead they were engraved in the rock forever! For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth. And after my skin has been thus destroyed, yet in my flesh I shall see God, whom I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, and not another. My heart faints within me” (Job 19:24-27 ESV)!

    The teaching of the resurrection begins in the Old Testament. It is not a novel conspiratorial concept concocted in the minds of desperate disciples after the crucifixion of Jesus. Resurrection has been prophesied, taught, and anticipated, just as Jesus said.
    I want to pause here lest doctrinal teaching is not applied personally. Perhaps, you feel as Job felt when all the world came crashing down upon him and death was a dark specter that haunted him day by day. But those dark clouds of despair had to be dispersed when Almighty God implanted the truth of the resurrection in Job. The sunlight bursts through the stormy skies of that great man’s soul and he could not help but proclaim: “I know that my Redeemer lives and that I shall see him with my own eyes.“ This Faith, a gift of God, will bring you the same hope: a “living hope” that dispatches golden beams of hope through the claustrophobic fog of despair.

    What a glorious Resurrection truth in the Old Testament. What a wonderful Savior in our hearts. What a solid rock in the storm. But we could go to many other places in the Old Testament. Consider Daniel as he testified in the courts of the Persian empire. Even exile and the humiliation of servitude could not suppress the glorious doctrine of new life that bubbles up throughout all of the Bible:
    “And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt” (Dan. 12:2).

    The Resurrection Was Realized in the New Testament (the Gospels and Acts)
    “But,” perhaps, a cynic replies, “these citations are isolated scriptures and could have alternative meanings.” Then let us go to the New Testament. Let us not merely go to the first-hand accounts of the women in the graveyard, crying out, “He is risen!” Those eye-witness accounts may be too obvious. Rather, let us drop in anonymously with the diverse congregation, people from all over the Roman empire, who are listening to Peter preach on the Day of Pentecost in Jerusalem. Read this and tell me what is the centerpiece of Peter’s preaching?

    “This Jesus, delivered up according to the definite plan and foreknowledge of God, you crucified and killed by the hands of lawless men. God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it. For David says concerning him, “ ‘I saw the Lord always before me, for he is at my right hand that I may not be shaken; therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced; my flesh also will dwell in hope. For you will not abandon my soul to Hades, or let your Holy One see corruption. You have made known to me the paths of life; you will make me full of gladness with your presence’” (Acts 2:23-28 ESV).
    “Being therefore a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that he would set one of his descendants on his throne, he foresaw and spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that he was not abandoned to Hades, nor did his flesh see corruption. This Jesus God raised up, and of that we all are witnesses. [my emphasis]” (Acts 2:30-32 ESV).

    Let us turn to one other significant passage.
    The Resurrection Is the Hope of Humankind (1 Corinthians 15)
    The Apostle Paul taught that the resurrection is the glorious centerpiece to all the banqueting table of redemptive history. The resurrection is of necessity the gravitational force of divine Truth that holds eternity-past and eternity-future together as one single plan of God. How important is the resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth, the Messiah?

    “But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain. We are even found to be misrepresenting God, because we testified about God that he raised Christ, whom he did not raise if it is true that the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins” (1 Corinthians 15:13-17ESV).
    But Paul answers the question and in doing so demonstrates that the resurrection of Jesus the Christ is the truth that transforms everything:

    “But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead” (1 Corinthians 15:20-21 ESV).

    The Resurrection Overtook Death. The Message Is Unstoppable.

    Just years after the resurrected Christ ascended into heaven—again, with witnesses observing—the light of God’s truth that Isaiah had prophesied was going to the ends of the earth. The light of the gospel of Jesus Christ, his crucifixion and resurrection, not only illuminated the plight of human beings but magnified the power of God. Hope replaced resignation. Life could be lived with the assurance of sins forgiven and a new way of living established: with the certainty that “whoever believes in me, though he die, yet he shall live. And whoever believes in me shall never die” (John 11:25-26).

    The entire known world was turned upside down with the message of the resurrection of Jesus the Messiah. And every time I have entered a sanctuary where a casket housed a dead body and mourners, I have entered with a loud voice, “I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE . . .” For the resurrection, like a dazzling diamond, never shines so brilliantly as when it is placed in front of the dark pall of death. The resurrection ushers in hope and assures us that what is hoped for is true and lasting.

    But there are some who say that the Bible never really taught the doctrine of the resurrection. That whole matter of resurrection was something that was invented by Paul or by Peter or by one of the others. Nothing could be further from the truth. Consider three— only three of so many—biblical categorical affirmations of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Let’s begin with the old testament.

    The Resurrection Was Prophesied in the Old Testament (Job, the Psalms and Daniel)

    Misguided students and unscrupulous scholars of Scripture have sometimes erroneously claimed that the concept of the resurrection is absent in Judaism; and, therefore, an unknown idea in the Old Testament. Such false teaching (or to be more charitable: “ignorance”) not only denies the very words of the Old Testament but also defies the very teaching of Jesus. For our resurrected Redeemer revealed to the disciples on the road to Emmaus the truth of the Old Testament and His resurrection:

    “Did not the Christ have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?” He asked them. Then, “beginning with Moses and all the prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.” (Luke 24:13-27).

    If that theory is true then somebody should have told King David that “resurrection of the deceased human body by God was alien to the ancient Hebrew Faith.” For David in the Psalms speaks with spectacular specificity about the resurrection of the One to come:
    “Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay” (Psalm 16:9-10).

    If anything then,… this possibly becomes a more thorough and comprehensive understanding of the nature of the Lord’s Sacrifice.

    Understanding all of this should humbly bring us to our knees in repentance. For who among us would wish to bring injustice to another because of our own actions? Indeed, what manner of men are we that would willingly subject another, which now includes the Purity of His Presence within us, to any form of injustice because of our own willful unrighteousness? Just as we may cry out today in sadness and personal disdain because of the injustices we observe around us treacherously committed by the professional ruling class of the media, politicians, judges, lawyers — so does the Lord cry out to us in the conduct of our own personal lives as He witnesses and patiently endures our own sins of omission and commission.

    But the Lord knew of the possibilities of all our happenstance from the very beginning. He knew of the sacrifice He was to make if mankind would be saved. He knew even that portion of His Spirit so gifted to us in the beginning would nevertheless be patiently made to bear the shame and pain of being subordinately “present” to “serve” with our sins — for again, “God so loved the world.” (See: John 3:16-18; 1Peter 1:18-20)

    And too, He knew from the beginning that even though he was not guilty for our sins, it was only His Eternal Sacrifice that could ‘pay’ for our sins and wipe away our transgressions by the shedding of His Blood. For the activities of the Creation were executed by Him, even the Word, commanded of Him by His Heavenly Father. (See: John 1:1-5) Moreover, the Creation itself was literally made from and commanded by His Eternal Substance. Thus, His Eternal Substance is the foundation of everything within the Creation, both physically and spiritually, which by default makes Him literally the “Alpha and the Omega,” the beginning and the end of all Creation.

    Thus, under the purview of His Heavenly Father, the entirety of the Creation was literally spun from the “stuff” of His Very Eternal Flesh and Spirit. And being solely of Him, the creation could only have arose and come to be from His Sole Command. Because of His indivisible, inextricable and inseparable connection to the Creation itself, He alone is solely capable and hence solely responsible for “curing” and “saving” all that was created by His Personal Eternal Sacrifice. (See: John 1:1-5, John 3:49-63) What He created was from Him, and of Him, having been in Him and was executed through Him. This is why Christ was the only One who could have provided the atonement. Nobody else could even remotely qualify.

    Was the Resurrection Real or Just a Story to Push Forward an Agenda?

    There is no question about whether this resurrection of the Nazarene is metaphorical or physical. Over five hundred people saw Him, many of whom would live to the twilight of the first century. These witnesses could have unmasked Paul, Peter, James, and the others as mad-men had they another story to tell. There would have been profit in doing so, for the message of the resurrected and living Jesus was wrecking entire economies built on archaic, sensual religions of mythology and mirth.

    Instead, “the Way” grew by leaps and bounds. Imprison the Apostles and their cells became chapels. Bind them with chains and shackles and their prisons became parishes. Dispatch the most highly-trained and loyal palace guards, and the captors became Christians.

    To the utter dismay of violent antagonists, lengthy imprisonments following kangaroo court trials were but leisurely catechetical periods resulting in faith in Jesus by the highest officials in the realm. The resurrection changed everything. Nothing would be the same again.

    Religion was supposed to be a cultus of rituals based upon folktales, mythological heroes and heroines, representations of the metaphysical and untamed powers, local and national deities designed to explain the mysteries of life and death with sticks and stones. But Jesus was history. You could speak of time, place, his birth, his life, miracles, death, changed lives and new life. In Jesus Christ and his resurrection God entered time. Mankind was no longer alone to create stories to make sense of the inexplicable, but God’s story had intersected with their stories—our stories, to bring Grace and Truth. Everything had changed nothing could ever be the same. You want to know the Gospel in its simplest affirmation? “Christ has died. Christ has risen. Christ will come again.”

    The Resurrection Was and Is a Cause to Die For
    All of the Apostles would die for the message of the resurrection except for John, who would suffer for it, and die as an old man in the parish of Ephesus. Thomas would go to India and be martyred at modern-day Chennai. Mark went to Egypt and died while preaching eternal life in Christ. Other extra biblical literature of the day would say that Joseph of Arimathea went to Britain. Celtic traditions tell of a Welsh king who was captured by Román soldiers and brought to Rome. While under house arrest, he heard the gospel and brought the Christian faith and its beautiful message of the resurrection back to the British Isles. The Roman empire had built its fortunes on the cult of the Roman emperor, but within years, despite unprecedented persecution, the amphitheaters constructed to kill Christians for bloodthirsty sport became magnificent stadiums—veritable giant pulpits and sanctuaries— to proclaim the risen Christ.

    How can we learn to die to self? With 1 Corinthians 15:56-58 as our guide, we can learn to live out every day in light of Resurrection Day. Here are seven ways to get started …

    Recognize your sin for what it is. When you closely examine your own sinfulness, that’s when you realize what’s really going on in your heart. It’s very easy to think “I’m a good person.” But are you? Really? If others knew your thoughts and motives, would they think the same? When the Holy Spirit goes to work in our lives, he exposes and convicts us so that we will change.

    Keep a proper perspective of your state. He is God. And we are not. In your day-to-day decisions, how often do you consult your heavenly Father? Is it just a weekly occurrence in prayer time at Bible study or in your Sunday School class? Or an infrequent, arrow prayer whenever you’re in a jam and need some speedy heavenly help? What would your life look like if you submitted everything to God at all times?

    Give thanks where it is due … to God! Do you begin each day with thanksgiving? When you wake up, do you immediately count your blessings? When you grumble and complain, do you try to counteract that by focusing on the good in your life? Will you choose to count everything joy because God is God, and he is Jehovah Jireh?

    Worship the One who saved you. What are your current debts? A mortgage? A car note? School loans? If someone paid off your costliest obligation, how would you feel? What about the One who has paid the biggest amount of all—your spiritual debt? You could never pay for it yourself. So give your worship, adoration and praise to the risen Lord who has. He died in your place, and his blood has covered your sins.

    Keep your focus and don’t waiver. What gets you off course in your life? Certain friendships? Entertainment choices? Emotional issues? Bad habits? What obstacles are getting in your way and preventing you from living a life that responds to the Resurrection? Remember that in Christ, you are a new creation. You are no longer dead in your transgressions. Leave the past behind, throw off whatever hinders you and live for Christ!

    Put God first and give him your all. God put us first. He gave us his firstfruits, his son Jesus Christ, who died for our sins. What are your firstfruits to God? What are you giving him as a sign that your life belongs to him? Do your priorities, your schedule and your checkbook reflect your desire to put him first in your life? Do they show that he is Lord of your life?

    Be heavenly minded while on earth. “You’re so heavenly minded, and you’re no earthly good.” Yes, it takes effort to not get lost in the clouds and to put hands and feet to our faith. What we do here on earth does matter, so do pursue the eternal while doing some earthly good. What is your part in reaching others with the Good News? Are you following Christ’s example of devotion to you (on the cross) as you serve others?
    ‘I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!’ (Gal. 2:20-21)

    Today we see in the news that Pope Francis has condemned the bombing of a church in Sri Lanka.

    While we have some respect for the titular decency of this Francis, there has never been an accounting for the crimes committed by the Christian church against all of mankind.

    Indeed, nothing less than the preparation of a ‘big fire’. A fire as hot as the “Sun’, is therefore necessary to extinguish this Christian wickedness from the earth. A fire to be brought on the face of the Great Mother.

    Pachamama is making ready such a fire for the purveyors of this nonsense throughout the earth.

    Religion is like politics, it seems. We all go to our predetermined corners and only come out to trade punches. There is no real attempt to understand.
    MAYBE RELIGION AND POLITICS

    BUT TEACHING THE BIBLE IS VERY CLEAR
    THE GREEK IN WHICH THE NT WAS WRITTEN IS A VERY EXACT LANGUAGE
    AND THE HEBREW IN WHICH THE OT WAS WRITTEN IS AMAZING ALSO

    THAT IS WHY WE HAVE THE CLEAR INSTRUCTION OF 2 TIM 2:15

    2 Timothy 2:15, KJV: “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15, NASB: “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.”

    What does 2 Timothy 2:15 mean?

    After commenting about false teachers in the previous verse, Paul urges Timothy to view himself as a worker seeking to please God. Any worker or servant should desire to satisfy the expectations of his or her boss. Timothy was to view his work for God in the same way. He was not serving to please other people, but to please the Lord. Paul knew well the many ways the world can distract a Christian’s focus. These worldly forces would seek to draw Timothy’s attention to making people happy, rather than viewing the Lord as the one to please.

    Timothy’s challenge is not only to be approved, but to be a worker “who has no need to be ashamed.” Paul had already spoken of not being ashamed on three occasions in the previous chapter (2 Timothy 1:8, 12, 16). During times of suffering, Paul felt the need to emphasize boldness in faith to those tempted to avoid hardship and persecution. His boldness also involved “rightly handling the word of truth.” In contrast with the false teachers who argued over words, Timothy had learned the Scriptures from his youth and was to handle it accurately.

    The distinction presented here is important. In the prior verse, Paul condemned pointless bickering. Here, he commends deeper study. Putting these two ideas together gives us an accurate picture of what Christian discernment is meant to look like. There are some issues which involve the “soundness” of the gospel message, and others which do not. We need to study diligently, not only to defend the faith, but to know the difference between something worth battling over, and something which is just a distracting argument.

    That is the thing fellow myope because she does not understand the basic English language, she cant even recant and say she was wrong.

    Just like the other illiterate when challenged about her incorrect statements about Gethsemane and Golgotha could not come back and say “I was wrong” the debt WAS NOT PAID IN GETHSEMANE BUT ON CALVARY.

    Yet, even in this small thing, even here, this person who would speak and say she worships Christ, cannot say I was wrong.

    She has to say something about speaking directly…

    This is why I have such disdain for her, because of what she and her Sand Dwellers did to “my sister Angela…”

    Question Mr. Bible Scholar: I am not sure but in John 10:30 Jesus said I and the father are one … meaning that He was equal to God … But in Acts 7:55 it is said that Stephen full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. How do you explain the latter scripture as compared to what Jesus said above?

    Calling disbelievers by well-worn epithets will not win this argument. Neither will the use of forgeries from THE book of lies.

    The most ignorant Christian here, as writer, claims to know the rules of evidence, from academia.

    Well, in those circles independently verifiable sources are what must be brought to the bar. Not from the very book of lies which is being challenged.

    And this foolishness about resorting to mysteries to hide Christian wickedness will no longer provide sucker.

    Or the oft repeated claim that those who are the adversaries of the Christian cabal of wickedness are somehow ignorant, can no longer pass muster.

    Certainly, the ad nausium repeating of the same old lies from a much discredited text is at least a violation of the academic standard to which there is a sometimes pretension.

    In short, one cannot with a straight face, both claim to be a serious academician and a believer of proven lies or unproven phenomena, at the same time.

    I speak of warnings specifically coming from Jesus mouth which needs no interpreters but are specifically used as indicators or warnings to his disciples as to what to expect and what not to belive in reference to those who said they saw him after his death
    Thomas was a beliver and follower of Christ and most likely latched on to Jesus words in his time of obedience to Christ

    I have travelled far in my search.

    Really far.

    I have “seen” much, things that many WILL NEVER SEE NOR KNOW IN THEIR LIFETIMES.

    And like I said in my opening statement above, it is here that I stand now.

    These are my beliefs

    I believe in One God, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost, Indivisible…

    When the student is ready, the teacher comes

    When God is birthed in you, you can try to turn His Presence off, but as for me, I will strive to keep Him on in my life.

    Call Him the Opiate of the people or whatever, when I get high on Him, I feel good.

    I was not able to go to church today for various reasons but

    I am home alone here sharing with Dr. GP AND MY SPIRIT IS SOARING.

    And if you knew what I was dealing with, and you understood that, because of his words about The Word has my spirit soaring, then you could understand This Coolaid

    I will leave you here to discourse a little and go see what is going on elsewhere
