If we published our water quality we would not have a South Coast Sewage problem today. It would have allowed us to keep a high benchmark on quality. Here is the info as presented on PM10 /P2.5 in high trafficked areas for we all can identify with poor working diesel vehicles fumigating our lungs daily with impunity.  The GOB must act for we are more than an economy.

    I understand “where you’re coming from” and I agree.

    What I have a problem with, is Bible thumping people trying to FORCE their beliefs down my throat, while creating the impression if I don’t heed their word, I’m lost and doomed.

    My take on it is, if you believe in God and the Bible, that’s your thing and I respect you. But, if I don’t believe in your beliefs…… respect my decision, similarly to how I respect yours.

    Jehovah’s Witnesses, for example, don’t celebrate Christmas, but they would invade the privacy of people who celebrate Christmas, by going to their houses on Christmas Day to preach to them it is wrong to celebrate it..…which is total disrespect.

    Then….. how about the Seventh Day Adventist who say it is wrong to work on sabbath Saturday, but would be angry if the bus, mini bus and route taxi are not available or late in arriving to take them to church. Are the drivers of these PSVs not working, which is contrary to SDA’s beliefs?

    Or…. how about the man who gets up one morning to play “oldie goldies” or reggae, for example, and the Christians call the police to complain that his loud music is disturbing their peace. But they expect to set up “loud speakers” in the district to preach and play “spirituals” aloud and entire night, because they believe as long as they are preaching the “word of God,” no one has the RIGHT to COMPLAIN about the noise.

    What I also realise about these so called religious enthusiast is that they expect people to readily accept their doctrines….. WITHOUT QUESTION. As soon as you ask for explanations of contradictions in the Bible or challenge their beliefs…. rather than try to explain……. they become ANGRY and HOSTILE.

    THE FALLACY IN AC’S SILLY ARGUMENT IS THAT IF WE ARE ALL DEAD PRIOR TO THE RAPTURE because the BLP are responsible for allowing sewage in the Graeme Hall Swamp THEN NO ONE IN BARBADOS WILL BE RAPTURED

    Perhaps similarly to how you begin to explain a medical mystery to a first year medical student….. who, at that point in his life, is a medical illiterate.
