Barbadians have a strong interest in what unravels in the United States. We may debate why this is the case- an abundance of US news feeds streaming into our homes via FLOW, DIGICEL and Internet devices 24b hours a day, family members living in the USA, we travel there to further our studies and on recreation the list is long.

The BU household also has a keen interest in the outcome of the midterms later tonight, it will be a referendum on Trump’s tenure for sure.

    There is little value in getting all worked up about the inequities in the governments of men. As long as there are imperfect men, there will be imperfect governments. It is better to simply obey the laws, do good, trust in God, and enjoy the fruits of one’s labor.

    NO @Kiki/DubStreet, the Blogmaster need not ban this disturbed person….it is from these pages that we have learned the grave character flaws of many a Bajan son and daughter held in quite high regard due to their youthful academic achievements…we have learned that these smart folks are quite disreputable and should be dismissed out of hand (outside their area of expertise)!

    That a Black Bajan could disparage the struggles for racial equality in the manner that he has in lambasting John Lewis is beyond disgusting… but we saw that before when one of his school alumni bluntly called out his disturbing scornful words.

    One can only surmise that he is again in his scornful mode to play the mocking/mek sport game, because it is incomprehensible that he could be serious to say something as:

    Brenda Snipes has been the Broward County election supervisor for 15 years. Her reputation is mired in scandal and incompetence.

    She exhibited a penchant for skewing the process in favor of the Democrat Party. Why was she then kept on, you might ask? Because of her willingness to skew the process in favor of the Democrat Party.

    If her illegal election procedures are allowed to stand (thus changing the results in favor of Democrats), then it will send out a signal to all states that such shenanigans can succeed.

    Votes should not be allowed to be loaded onto private vehicles for transport or be ‘lost,’ then found at a later date. We should not allow this corruption to spread.

    Without plunging into an op-ed vortex of impossible questions and unlikely answers the simple answer would be – yes!

    America has been in decline for decades, but under Barack Obama it was nearly a ride to liberal hell in a handbasket. The reluctance to get on board the Trump train is now clearer than ever since the 2018 mid-terms.

    There are a few positives such as winning the majority in the senate and the fact that there is still time to ramrod key legislation through the house up to the 3rd of January 2019.

    The list of negatives is huge because they are a promise of a long uphill battle for both conservatives and the President.

    Let’s see.

    Colorado elected Jared Polis, the first openly gay governor in U.S. history. The LGBT agenda is now given a boost that was heretofore un-imaginable.

    Pot is now legal across the State of Michigan under the passage of proposal 1 in the midterms of 2018. While it may not be smoked in public or while driving, now young and old may proceed to buzz blithely into mind-pause at will. Getting stoned in a dying nation is not a hopeful sign of a new America and it is not even close to the old America.

    Elizabeth Warren wins in Massachusetts in spite of being caught red handed in lies about her heritage; it used to be that Senators were impeached for such lies in today’s America it gets them elected.

    Nancy Pelosi will now try for Speaker of the House once again, but even the dem’s have their doubts about that. It is an ominous portent at the least.

    Democrat Dianne Feinstein chalked up her fifth victory to remain in the senate. Oh joy! Should we begin to pray that she does not incite a riot?

    Democrat Congresswoman –elect Rashida Tlaib a Muslim, draped a Palestinian flag over herself during her victory celebration in Michigan’s 13th Isn’t the 13th district still in the United States of America? Should someone tell her she’s using the wrong flag?

    Fox News says that because Democrats failed to take the upper chamber of the Senate that the gains in the house are more like fools gold than the real stuff. Regardless of what is said, the road through to 2020 will be difficult and tumultuous.

    Three very important things can be ascertained from the outcome of the 2018 midterms.

    The kinds of Americans that think liberalism, destroying babies, getting high and promoting sexual perversion are perfectly normal, are on the rise. They all voted democrat.

    The evangelicals and the church in general have become an impotent force because of a combination of lust, lethargy and apostasy. The day of evil is surely approaching. (Pr 16:4)

    For the first time in our history this nation that was founded on Biblical principles and the good counsel of preachers and prophets has succumbed to a deafness that will lead to their demise as surely as the compass points to north.

    The passage that best describes America today especially after the midterms is this;

    “But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows, And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented.” (Mt 11:16-17)

Their views are typical of most white bajans of their generation They were born and acculturated in a racist environment where their caste held sway over us blacks.

    Report: Florida Elections Official Mixed Bad Ballots with Good Ones Featured

    The Florida elections official tasked with counting votes in Broward County accidentally mixed up more than a dozen invalid ballots with nearly 200 valid ballots.

    Broward County’s three-person canvassing board discovered Friday night that Broward County Board of Elections supervisor Brenda Snipes mixed 20 votes containing mismatched signatures in a pile of 205 provisional ballots, the Miami Heraldreported.

    The canvassing board inspected the 205 provisional ballots Friday night after Snipes agreed to present them to the board for inspection.

    Broward County election staffers had set those 205 ballots aside out of the more than 600 provisional ballots cast on Election Day. The county’s canvassing board declared most of those provisional ballots invalid because the voters either registered to vote after the deadline, voted at the wrong precinct, or voted multiple times.

    Pat Nesbit, Broward County’s Election Day operations manager, said elections workers set aside the 205 ballots because of a connectivity problem with the system used to confirm voter registration status.

    These 205 voters swiped their IDs into the system, but the system showed they were not registered to vote. But staffers who called the Broward County elections headquarters found those voter registrations appeared in the system.

    Poll workers then instructed those 205 voters to cast provisional ballots.

    Staffers removed the 205 provisional ballots from signed envelopes and placed them in a voting machine. The machine did not add those ballots to the final vote count.

    Snipes and the elections department initially intended to take care of the ballots administratively, causing an outcry from Florida Republican Party attorneys. Snipes eventually agreed to present the 205 provisional ballots to the canvassing board.

    When a Republican Party lawyer asked about the ballots, Snipes responded that “the ballots cannot be identified.”

    “This process doesn’t exist. The process is that the ballots aren’t opened. I would suggest to the board that this process would stop,” said Leonard Collins, a lawyer for the Florida Republican Party.

    Protesters have come out in full force against Snipes as more news surfaces about her incompetence. A group of about 60 Republican protesters gathered outside the Broward County Board of Elections Friday, chanting “lock her up” to protest the county’s botched 2018 midterm election vote count.

    Snipes—who has previously been accused of keeping felons, dead people, and noncitizens on Broward County’s voter rolls—had also botched a 2016 congressional election, landing her in hot water with state and federal law.

    A judge ruled in May that Snipes violated both state and federal law by destroying voters’ ballots in Florida’s 2016 congressional election between former Democratic National Convention (DNC) chairwoman Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) and Democrat primary challenger Tim Canova. Schultz won re-election, defeating Canova by less than 7,000 votes.

    The ruling caused so much outrage, the Sun-Sentinel’ s editorial board published an editorial in June giving Snipes a no-confidence vote.

    But seriously tho, the POTUS helicopter cannot fly in that type of weather in unprotected areas for fear of any shoulder mounted missiles breaking the defenses due to weather inteference…at those low altitudes a few seconds could be death defying! (And that I borrowed from my last thriller novel so it’s all BLARNEY make believe. The trip was less than an hour by motorcade).

    BTW, anyone see the pics of a certain former president braving previous torrential downpours to attend such events 😂😂.

    In 1963, U.S. Rep. A.S. Herlong Jr., D-Fla., read into the Congressional Record a list of “Current Communist Goals” as enumerated by Dr. Cleon Skousen in “The Naked Communist,” penned in 1958. I encourage you to read the whole list, but for now let’s focus on those goals that most closely align with the seditious agenda of America’s “progressive” movement.

    How far has fallen the party of the jackass:

    -Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

    -Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum.

    -Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
    Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions.

    -Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

    -Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. (An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”)

    -Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.

    -Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

    -Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”

    -Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “religious crutch.”

    -Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principal of “separation of church and state.”

    -Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

    -Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”

    -Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.”

    -Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture – education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

    -Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

    -Infiltrate and gain control of big business.

    -Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].

    -Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.

    -Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

    -Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use “united force” to solve economic, political or social problems.

    -Do away with loyalty oaths.

    -If achieving these specific communist goals was the final “progressive” step toward the larger goal of securing communist governance in America, then, tragically, “progressives” have realized that larger goal.

    Look around. We are no longer the United States of America. We have become The Communist States of America.
    Which means, for those who love liberty, revolution is once again at hand.
