Barbadians have given the Democratic Labour Party Administration the benefit of the doubt since the inception of the South Coast sewage issues that every effort was diligently exhausted to ensure that this problem would have been quickly rectified. It is apparent that this problem has now escalated to reach CRISIS level which is unprecedented in the 50 plus years we have been an independent nation.

    Norway is floating on OIL and has a very small population so they are a very rich country with a massive Sovereign Wealth Fund.
    Trump thrives on controversy and is very good at creating major disruption which he uses to his advantage, occasionally. My advice to him would be to cut out the Racist talk and unite people instead.

    The fact is every country should be looking for immigrants who can help the nation day 1. This has nothing to do with Racism but everything to do with raising the standard of living for all, if executed correctly. US needs Mexicans to pick fruit and veg so let them in, need construction workers ditto, but they also need Tech savvy people so look to Asia (not Whiteys), Africa/ Cbean and anywhere that has properly educated people in Math / Science / Tech. Who cares when they invest in a TechCo whether the CEO or senior managers are Indian, African, Chinese etc? WE want them to be Green or Gold—lots of $$$$$$$$.

    A major point that escapes the vast majority is that when you have Illegals taking jobs and citizens on welfare it is a net burden on the country. Clever leaders would design the system to assist welfare recipients to become productive.

    Have not had the time to research this but did see a Jamaican chap expounding on how the Caribs were black. Fact is I have been to the Carib Reservation in Dominica and they are creamy light brown as you would expect having seen Amerindians. Naturally, there has been some intermixing with darker Dominicans. In order for any outsider to marry a Carib they must seek permission to live on the Reservation from the chief, Cacique.
    Why would someone create BS is beyond me but it is possible that certain Africans went across the Atlantic so I keep an open mind and will try to review the evidence.

    It was first thought that the Olmec were west Africans, who had came across in boats. But now there is mounting evidence that the Olmec were remnants from the Xia dynasty of China, who probably had come across the Bering straits into the Americas.

    Please note that many will think that the broad nose must be African (in relics, statues etc) BUT my own wife a Chinese has a broad nose.

    Does not mean that some Africans did not travel to the Americas many moons ago or were taken by some superior form of transport.

    You mean to say these idiots have been opening the Graeme Hall Sluice Gate as one of the mitigation measures on the South Coast and they cannot ensure the JCB tractor channel the sand fronting the gate to allow the swamp water to runoff into the sea as well as have a pile of sand in the area to make it presentable? Isn’t this a popular beach?

    I work on the south coast and there has been no sewerage overflow since last Sunday evening until now… Lets hope the temporary fixes the BWA implemented holds until a more permanent one is done.

    Unfortunately nothing changes until a permanent fix is found read clear the blockage in the lines and fix the breech.

    All you have to do in the meantime -while funding for a longer-term solution to the sewage problem is being considered- is to keep the outfall pipes and diffusers clear of any buildup of sand and human waste.

    You also need to keep the No.1 man in the No.2 business pretty busy, despite his political connections, just for the sake of the country you claim to love.

    Now go and pay the same urgent attention to the build-up of the unsightly garbage all over the place to keep your commitment to Bajans and to justify the burdensome NSRL used as a ploy to soak the poor unsuspecting taxpayers to fund the big-up lifestyle of the modern-day plantation owners to making the old Massas look like St. Francis of Assisi.

    Unfortunately the swearing in of the new Governor General was upstaged by two calamitious events……the island wide shut down of the electricity supply,high day time,and the stinking shitty south coast streets laden with human waste and accompanying accoutrements going into two weeks on that day.Islandwide Power Blackout and shoite pun highway 7 in the middle of the tourist season and in the middle of the tourist belt.What an effing indictment on these wild boy Dems,what Sir Bree referred to as the stinking Dems.One set ‘o bay foot hoes.#blimmuh!

    How come no one brought up the story in today’s Nation that according to a source about foetuses in the sewer (the report said dead foetuses perhaps somewhere there are live foetuses existing outside the womb) and other body parts and it seemed to infer that hospitals and other health institutions are responsible.

    If this is true wunnah have bigger problems.
