CBC LAUNCHES NEW CURRENT AFFAIRS PROGRAMME
The Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation has launched a brand new interactive current affairs programme.
Walter-Point-Two is a two hour long radio show on Q 100.7FM hosted by Walter Maloney and Walter Blackman on Sundays from 11 to 1.
The call in programme is also broadcast live on CBC TV8 and during its pilot programme, Education Minister, Ronald Jones gave the assurance that Government is handling anti social and disruptive behaviour among school children.
Mr. Jones notes that the drop out rate in Barbados for school children remains minimal as structures are in place to adequately address this challenge.
The minister also says Government is thinking about setting up a special institution to house children with issues so they can be rehabilitated.
Great ideas that are in need of implementation.

It is with mixed feelings the BU household welcomes Walter B to the national airwaves. However it is difficult to expect Water B to be able to give unbridled perspectives to compare with those that made him famous on VoB back in the day. What recommends Walter Maloney to the job is beyond the BU household at the moment except to say Walter & Walter gives those selling the program options.
