As Minister Of the Environment I toured the plant and the swamp and what I was told about he plant and its capacity to function perfectly . I was told that a plant was built that was not suited for us and they have to dump . The most affected person is the lady by the corner by the swamp , who had problems from the inception. MIA AND HER GROUP must take blame for building an outdated plant and now blaming the DLP. We will clean up your mess again. Buses, sanitation trucks, windmill and Sewerage Plant all new to Barbados to old to the world

Sewage Alert!

The revelation in recent weeks that sewage (raw) is spewing into the sea on the South coast should be of concern to all Barbadians. Along with the health concern there is the potential to dent the …

Barbados is about 106,000 acres.Lots of it is idle.We are blessed with lots of sunshine. It’s time the useless MoA and the hapless MoF help their fellow black farmers to set up solar driven farms to grow fruit and veggies associated with the temperate climates….apricots, pears, strawberries, coffee beans, plums and a host of other products for local consumption by the hotels and for export.Similarly for horticulture, tulips etc.

    …. solar driven farms ????

What happened to the $26 Million solar farm and the solar panel manufacturing plant announced over a year ago?

  4. And this too shall past. Now i sit with baited breath awaiting to see or hear what next these deviants have on their some what devious agenda to bring barbados to its knees.
So far everyhing has failed but as barbados gets closer to an election year the hoots and hollers would get fierce and louder
My hope is that barbados would not bend or buckle under the relentless and aggressive forces of evilness under the disguise of politics

    #TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

  7. So, according to Dr Richard Sealy, there never was any shite in the sea. He says so, so it must be true. All these people who saw it and smelled it were liars, idiots or saboteurs. I feel sorry for the Minister having to live in a country filled with such people. It must be truly awful for him?

It is awful for the people to be living under such incompetent government ministers who are chronic liars and frauds who look for every opportunity aided by government pimps like Gollop, to avoid responsibility or accountabilty and continually assign blame to others.

  9. I believe it is very important for Govt to make public the results of the water which was tested if they are to believed when they say that is safe to bathe at worthing beach.

  10. Tudor, it doesn’t matter to me what the results are I am probably never going back in the sea in Barbados … probably no where on earth either for that matter … nor swimming pools!!

That is my choice, others may make different choices …. it is a free world.

Don’t for one minute think that Barbados is unique.

  11. So Kellman…. if you gine blame the BLP for building the plant in the first place then I gine blame Errol Barrow for EVERYTHING that has happen in Barbados since Independence .
