  1. @ Bush Tea & David

There is something about this Maloney character that we just don’t know/understand. People are distancing themselves from him in droves.
What connection does he have that would make him think can just do as he likes?
There must be some real nasty stuff in the PAC report about NHC and Maloney, that’s th only think that seems to make sense…………….someone is rolling the wicket for the latter part of the year.

  2. Since 2008 when the people of Barbados elected these black morons and they began giving away the wealth of this country to Mark Maloney, has Mark Maloney ever followed any rules or regulations especialy those of the Town and Country Planning?

A man in an area I pass often tore down the existing wall around the property which was there for donkey years. He began to rebuild the wall but went much higher than the previous wall.

I agree that from the look of things, the owner was wrong to contravene TCP regulations re the height of the wall but would you believe that one morning TCP came with a full brigade including many police and pushed down the whole wall. They did not even push down the layers which were over the original wall, they torn down the whole wall on the Cane Vale side and left some on the Gall Hill side.

From the time that wall was built to the time it was destroyed was a matter of weeks. It only goes to show that this man did not have due process like Mark Maloney….the man was not given any five year reprieve…………….

We cannot go on like this…….look at the fancy buildings Mark Maloney has constructed at Bushy Park without planning and they still stand today.

And to top it off, as seems his usual pattern, he has gone and built structures on lands that are leased…………and the biggest farce is that this moronic governent compulsorily acquired somebody’s property and aint even pay the owners for their land.

What a bunch of jokers we have as a government!

On my way across the island I capture , not only the beauty of this island, but also the ugliness and two-barbadosness. I have a comprehensive photo file……….No Charge.
Shucks !! The only person I know that is /was able to get you through most doors in Barbados, whether they are made of wood or rock hard cement, is Mr Maloney.

  4. David,
I might as well add my pet peeve to the list. The application to construct a raceway at Vaucluse was denied permission by Town and Country Planning; from the application for construction of a Tower, to the construction of the race way and the filling in of the watercourse.. An earlier BU posting contained copies of the correspondence to and from the TCP. Yet when I went there for the Sol Rally I saw a completely paved raceway, with tunnel and bridge, a raceway covered with asphalt complete with tyre barriers. I guess the TCP will have to bring a court case again to seek the digging up of this facility, at great cost to government. Who will pay for this? Never mind the crowds who went there.
All that land at Vaucluse should be acquired, and the owners should be made to wait for years for compensation, to make up for the years when people did not have the benefit of the growth of produce on those lands. It is a sin to have those lands idle , and covered in grass and bush..

    Budgie,
    It is the arrogance.
Being convicted of a charge is being specific, bot the suspicion. The raceway and the denial of permission are facts, but a conviction registers guilt of the offence, not just the accusation.

Bro I have no sympathy for that man. he was treated just as he deserved. He had paying tenants in his old house, one being a pregnant woman. He knocked down the steps leading to the relatively high entrance, forcing the pregnant mother and others, to use a make shift ladder to gain entry. This story was highlighted in the NATION. He may well be revisited by the TCPD.
Without permission, I am sure, he cut down a large 100 year old mahogany tree,on his property, near to the side walk .
What goes around , comes around. Treat your own with disrespect, and expect the same treatment some day.

  6. @ Charlie
Maloney has displayed his true character for all to see by his childish antics and spoilt-brat actions. It had ALWAYS been people like him that dictated things in Barbados. They were the plantation managers, factory bosses and bank managers who maintained the Bajan apartheid before 1966.
Since independence, Barrow, Crawford and a few others have forced the whites to keep such persons in the background and to send forward the sweet-mouthed fellows such as BU’s ‘John’ (have you heard him lately?), Fields, McConney, King and Money B.

Starting covertly with Arthur, they began to regain their confidence after being encouraged to buy out our national assets (regain their plantations -so to speak) for a song.

When the jackass Froon and his band turned out to be so bribe-prone, things picked up, with massive transfers of assets to these peoples through Ionics, SBRC, Coverley and other housing scams, molasses tanks, and all kinda shiite projects.

We are practically back to the plantation days -as you saw with Maloney parading his niggas on TV last week.

The whites have therefore sent forward the old type personality (Negro driver) to take over in the new plantation environment that our ‘leaders’ have created for us. So while Jerkman is on the Central bank board, COW calls brass tacks to get his way, and Bizzy cries on TV, Baloney is the ‘hit man’.

Maloney is a creature of the black jackasses we have had in parliament now since Sandiford.

  7. “Warning then that his Government was prepared to go as far as to enact laws to ensure they comply, the Prime Minister, who has responsibility for the Chief Town Planner’s office, was adamant that the country’s development must be “ordered” and that the law had to be followed.” Freundel Stuart, June 2016.

Is this the same DLP that erected bill boards contrary to the TCP laws in the 2008 and 2013 election.

  8. Maloney has done what he did, as like the sugar plantations and the many American companies which once ruled the roosts in the slave-labour industrial estates all across Barbados , as they hold an ” If -I-go-out-of-business-thousands -will -loose-their-jobs ” trump cards . Which really should not cut any ice, with a government which has already laid off thousands of workers.

The only thing missing from the picture was a big rough ,barefoot ,loud- mouth Superintendent/ Watchman with a big stick and a large bunch of keys shouting to the labourers to go forward.

    @ Alvin Cummins June 19, 2016 at 11:20 AM

What are you trying to say here, my friend?
When did all of this take place? During which time period? And who is stopping the authorities from doing what the law permits them to do as in the case of the wall that Prodigal Son referred to @ June 19, 2016 at 11:17 AM?

The T&CP function has always been under the purview of the PM going back to the Barrow era (you with your magnificent skill of recall) can correct me if that is not so.
How come the man, currently at the helm, is so afraid of executive responsibility and decision-making that he can it fit to delegate his authority to non-elected official in order to avoid controversial issues?
Prodigal has raised this matter, what do you have to say, Alvin?

Duffus might have concluded that all roads lead to Barrow but, by jingles, the reverse seems to be true where all roads lead away from Fumble the Bajan Houdini of an escapologist when its comes to prime ministerial responsibilities.

  11. Back in the plantation days ,we are. In todays Sunday Sun there is a follow up story to the BL& P kicking incident at the Spring Garden Plant, as expected those who took part in the demonstration , were given Warning Letters, ie they will be on Sarah McDonald’s chopping list next round. But what is most distasteful is that up to now the media has neglected to name the offending Canadian supervisor, Mr N.O Name , who probably under expert advice, went back to Canada for the usual nine days which it takes Barbados to become stricken with amnesia.
Last week, deservedly or not, we saw a driver remanded overnight after knocking down a school girl, and leaving the scene of an accident.
Remind me, was this man remanded after killing his son?

  15. Well Well

What do you expect from a yardfowl who hears no wrong, sees no wrong and believes no wrong when it comes to his deceitful lying party.

Remember that there was nothing wrong with Claire Cowan and Cahill………..we are all doom and gloomers who do not have the country’s interest at heart.

Even when proof was provided that the lying incompetent PM signed the deal while never acknowledging that he even knew of the project, they denied that it was the Fumble’s signature…….eventually came out and said nothing cannot happen unes he says so. Then the clown Lowe finally acknowledged that the project is dead.

Not even then would the ac’s admit the dlp is made up of lying, corrupt, deceitful, incompetent morons who are selling out this country to the minority while the majority are suffering!

“as expected those who took part in the demonstration , were given Warning Letters”

Lesson 10: How to deballs a nation (the word castrate is ).
    1) Identify the few who has more than their share of balls and the target them for retribution.

    2) Punishing them in a public manner will decrease the testosterone level in those who, would look to them as role models.

    3) It is important that the whole island knows that these heroes were flogged (punished) for demonstrating signs of manhood (pride).

Seriously: If Barbadians had demonstrated in their ‘thousands’ and given these men their full support, those responsible for taking names and reporting back to their master would have had a difficult job. The cowardly and docile citizens made these few men stand alone, thus making it possible for those in power to identify and victimize them.

I would advise the few Bajan citizens (men and women) with any remaining balls to self-castrate. When shit happens, you would be able to accept it, docilely.

Prodigal…Alvin pimps for useless politicians shamelessly, and also for those he considers wealthy, even if they robbed bajans to get there,….. he cant do it in Canada, no one would pay attention to him, so he takes full advantage and uses every opportunity in Barbados.

The Gazer….. the name and photo of that Canadian racist at Emera should be all over cyberspace. ..they would have to send his ass back to Canada.

Black people on the island have to stop accepting that treatment, but when the leaders are weak and useless…just look at the Maloney matter…you find that weakness trickles down into the society…it can only get worse from there.

“I would advise the few Bajan citizens (men and women) with any remaining balls to self-castrate. When shit happens, you would be able to accept it, docilely.”

That ‘nipping’ job has already been accomplished.
That is why the likes of Maloney can do as he pleases and issue threats to public servants for doing their job.
That is why the British can echo the Cockney equivalent of the honourable Bajan cussing phrase “carry your mother rabbit” à la Dr. Duguid when it comes to any uprising talk about reparations for descendants of field niggas.
You now see why the goodly dentist had to wash out his mouth in cuss on Pornville Inniss the bold-faced uppity house nigga and prince of doublespeak next in line for the throne of the DLP King Liar?

Reparations talk by the modern-day house niggas is nothing but a load of baloney served at the massa table. They are just whistling in the wind while spitting in the air.
