berniesanders_hillaryclintonThe stakes are high in the epic battles brewing in NYC, on both sides. The Dems up dey are fighting for 291 delegates, with 247 up for grabs. The Clintons have already secured the support of about 44 ‘super-delegates’. By now the Clinton camp would have thought that their obvious shoo-in for the nomination would have been a fait accompli. But a near octogenarian is attempting to ensure that only one Clinton would ever be able to discharge seminal fuels within the oval office.

On the DNC side, we must agree that Bernie Sanders is the lesser to two great evils. For in this less than perfect world we are told, ad infinitum, that that is the best we can dare to imagine. This is false of course, and there are other more attractive options.

Firstly, we must consider allowing the entire system to collapse. This obvious option is likely, sooner or later, with or without the help from any of the actors involved.

Secondly, if the Clinton people and DLC democrats continue their electoral shenanigans, Bernie must let it be known that he will strike a blow into the very heart of the party. Letting it die on the vine by mounting as a third party candidature. He cannot behave like Jesse Jackson and corral tens of millions of voters into the arms of an untrustworthy Democratic Party apparatus. The Dems have been the graveyard for all progressive movements within the US of A. It is where social movements go………………..to die!

Thirdly, efforts must be catalyzed to force Kaiser Drumpf to behave similarly on the Republican side, throwing their party too into an inevitable breakup. Certainly it does not deserve being considered a national party, based solely on its positions over time.

Some of us have long been weary about much of Bernie’s political tactics, even strategy. His reservations about launching frontal attacks on Clinton have been particularly troubling. We have communicated that message through Cornel West. Since then we have witnessed some aggressive movement in the ‘right’ direction but much more could be done to slay ‘the dragon lady’, politically, of course.

Though he has a history of being one of the few high-profiled ‘White’ men to support Jesse Jackson in both his 1984 and 1988 runs, it remains incongruous that a Clinton could pretend to have a better inside track to ‘Black’ folks and their votes when as a practical matter most of Bernie’s political positions are more aligned to African-Americans collective thinking than Hillary Clinton’s plutocratic, neo-liberal, racist, Zionist, warmongering rhetoric and actions.

Clinton is a known murderer of world leaders, a known genocidaire of the Palestinian peoples; a carpet kisser; she is complicitous in imposing a fake political marriage on the American people; a criminal who caused the death of a diplomat, and others, in Benghazi when her State Department oversaw the stealing of Libya’s weapons for transfer to al-Qaeda and ISIS, for the creation of the present confusion in Syria; the overthrowing of duly elected governments in Honduras, Ukraine, Venezuela and elsewhere. Indeed, the crimes of the Clintons will require forests to properly detail. Save the forest, defeat the Clintons.

Bernie has won 8 of 9 recent contests. Even the one he supposedly lost has revealed evidence of Clintonian rigging. As a non-religious Jew, he has called for evenhandedness in relationship to the Palestinian ongoing genocide. His is a revolutionary position which goes counter to the demands of AIPAC, popular media and all the central narratives emanating from Washington.

This is the first time Hillary Clinton has had a real fight for anything. She walked out of the White House and was given a Senate seat having not ever holding a elective political position of any kind, lower rank, even as dog-catcher. In that political game participants are generally expected to start at the bottom and work their way up, not Hillary!

Based on that largesse, Hillary Clinton then felt deserving of the highest political office in the land. In that process it was fair game for the Clintons to spew racist, dog-whistling slogans, against Obama. How dare that ‘Black’ boy attempt to impede the ‘mighty’ Clinton, DLC machine?

Now the Bern has a chance to prevent unparrelled levels of immorality from winning political power, again. And ‘Black’ people, as relentlessly loyal Dems supporters, consistently in the ninety percentile, have the collective power to slap this wicked woman in her face with a Bernie victory in NYC next week.

Even after that humiliating defeat it will continue to be painful to see people like the mother of Trayvon Martin, the mother of Sandra Bland, finding cause to support the woman who call ‘Black’ men predators, sat in the White House while her husband put ‘Black’ men, in their hundreds of thousands in jail, just to prove to ‘independent’ voters that he was hard on crime. Hillary Clinton just sees ‘Black’ people as chattel who can be brought to do her bidding but she will NEVER talk about taking the constitutional measures to avoid more “Black’ mothers’ suffering.

The much larger ‘Hispanic’ community has no reason to vote for Clinton either. As Secretary of State she joined with Obama in deporting hundreds of thousands of ‘Latinos’, dividing families, causing the deaths of many driven into the arms of Coyotes and left wandering in western deserts.

‘I am the Bern’ because in this war against the Clintons, Bernie Sanders is the evil of two ‘lessers’. These are the cards given and now we have a chance to play our hand WE MUST DEFEAT HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON in NYC, utterly and completely! I will prefer to be wrong by support Bernie than to be right by supporting the greatest evil on earth.

Agree with you, Cruze is the compromise by the RNC. Will we see a brokered convention then and the emergence of Ryan not Romney?
    +++++++++++
Not Ryan he is running as far away from it as possible in effect saying “take this Chalice away from me as the wine is poisoned it is not my will and I will not be doing yours”.

Romney on the other hand has nothing to lose, but according to Reince Priebus Chairman of the GOP, the nomination will not go to anyone who did not run in the Primaries so Kasich and Rubio still have a chance (you will note that Rubio did not release his delegates or offer his endorsement a la Carson to any other candidate)

  2. Heard Bernie come out swinging against Isreal…Well all shall see how that works! Bernie might ust have to wait and see how much leverage he has when the Christain right comes knocking him down with suphur and brimstone

  3. Sarge,
Trump is correct on his contention that the system is rigged. The Party should be honest and just hold an internal vote among the top fellas like the British style parties do. Why attempt to fool the members in to believing that they have rights to choose, they really dont.

Any party that has highly intelligent Marketers should know that scarce resources ie $$$$, should be spent researching who in the Repubs can WIN the General Election? Why take a chance that someone like Cruz or Trump receives the Nomination? Why insist on exhibiting the dirty linen? Who appears to have the relevant experience Kasich. They should spend $$$ preparing the electorate and Kasich for the General.

Cruz better be aware that the RNC are just using him to create a dead heat for the nomination so that Kasich can come through the middle to win. Trump will be pissed as will the lower members and will probably go independent creating havoc for the Repubs and permitting Hilary to win as happened in 1992 with Billy C versus Bush and Ross Perot.(Perot got 19% of the votes killing off Bush, Trump will get 25-30% easily).

Think the Clintons easy, dem send in Trumpy to mash de Repubs up! AAA strategy Billy, who was under the desk when U was contemplating dis?

@MB, @1:00PM I expect that you are being facetious as you were with the “Trump has been PLANTED by the Dems ”

How can it be that “the system is rigged” when it is the same system that has been in place for all the elections in recent memory – give and take changes that states have made to their processes.

Something is rigged when there are rules not know to participants which then only become known to them when those rules have to be implemented…that is certainly not the case here.

Is it a rigged process when a businessman starts a company and then confounds his employees and the various involved parties and files a bankruptcy when things go awry. Or is he simply employing the options available to him that were know to all concerned.

Nothing on the US electoral process to date seems ‘rigged’ to me but it surely is complex, arcane and fraught with trapdoors.

  5. Trump has been a Democrat until very recently. Many Repubs think Trump is far too Liberal and certainly not Conservative on many issues. Clinton and Trump families are close, Ivanka said she will remain friends with Chelsea, no problem seen.

Trump is a brilliant Clinton plant to absolutely ensure Clinton victory and massive pain among Repubs. Watch it and weep! Caesar , Trotsky, Stalin etc would be proud!

  6. @Dee Word

Perhaps what MB should be pointing out is that the system is stacked (rigged) against an outsider read not of the establishment.

. Another recent decision in this trend was the hiring of Simone Zimmerman, Sanders’ Jewish outreach coordinator who just happens to be a vocal left-wing activist opposed to the Israeli occupation of the West Bank.

The news of Zimmerman’s hiring was met with both raucous enthusiasm from Sanders supporters and liberal Jews as well as outrage from members of the American-Jewish establishment. Although the Sanders campaign reversed itself and suspended Zimmerman Thursday after receiving intense pressure from prominent Jewish leaders.

David, at 1:44 PM, oh absolutely. Of that there is no question. And the additional stacking was the gutting of the Campaign Finance Reform Act by the Citizens United Supreme Court ruling which paved the way for the near billion $ fund by the Koch brothers and the big money Super Pacs in the process.

I completely agree there…but it’s eyes wide open for everyone so ‘rigged’ would have to mean a candidate is ‘blind’.

In reality this process says: no ‘poor’ third party candidate need apply…we see clearly how ‘outsiders’ are disadvantaged…it says a lot for the ability to work the system from the INSIDE!

@MB, enjoy your fun-facts like “Trump is a brilliant Clinton plant to absolutely ensure Clinton victory…”. Life generally abhors a conspiracy vacuum and yours has all that sweet soap opera sauce so why not have some fun.

BTW, don’t we have God-children/God parents and close friends for life who are on opposite sides of the political spectrum…so why shouldn’t Ivanka and Chelsea remain friends….you need another factoid for your conspiracy narrative that one doesn’t really have any salacious oomph! LOL.

Personally I prefer the wack story that Trump wanted to use this run to further expand his ‘brand’. Only just a tad less ridiculous than yours.

Why is the Trump “planting” not the case?

Does the disruption caused not bear fruit for the Clintons?

Does it not cause serious trouble in the enemies camp?

Is Trump really so stupid that he thinks it makes sense to piss off women? To make minorities dislike him in an age where they are very statistically significant and he is running for the Repubs who minorities have much doubt about to start with. Even Carson did not receive support from the vast majority of African Americans.

Trump is far too knowlegable about Marketing and Negotiation than to make such basic mistakes as to his Target Market’s absolute size. He should know he is over appealing to 35% approx of the populace and ruining his chances with 65%approx.

@MB you have described yourself here as a scientist, a MD to be exact. So with your science background you often would have looked at a result and diagnosed/developed facts that led to it…you have likely done that often and well.

I am not playing that game with you on Trump’s fact of running or his antecedents that led to that.

Suffice to say that Donald Trump has been described as a confident, brash personality from his days as a high school kid. He associated as a mentee with the attorney who was at the right hand of Sen MaCarthy (of American commies infamy) before he was disgraced for his ‘illegal’ behaviour. After settling in NY and becoming associated with Trump and his father the attorney went on to become Trump’s attack attorney until his death.

My point here is that Trump inculcated (by his own admission) the theories and style of this man who was essential a vicious, no-holds barred attack dog. So the marketing and appeal of which you speak is absolutely deliberate by Trump. He knows exactly what he is doing.

Let’s agree to disagree on your Clinton angle….and tell me this ..do you honestly believe that a man who has treated women over his 70 years as ‘bedroom conquests’ principally and who is quoted as saying you must treat them (women) like sh*t would agree to a pave the path for a woman to the Presidency!

The only woman to whom he would willingly cede control would be his mother..she is long gone.

As I suggested you need to rework your conspiracy theory…but it’s fun though.

  11. Dribs

U cornfusing MB with someone else probably GP. I never said I was an MD!

Are you suggesting that Ivanka and Tiffany are not loved by their father? Trumpy just loves to boast about the ladies mussee have some Bajan blood. lol.
Having an aggressive Lawyer in the US is a necessity. Either Trump knows what he is doing as a plant OR he would appreciate that he is alienating a huge chunk of the voters ie Afros, Hispanics, other minorities and women. What kind of Stats/ Math is he practicing? Surely he has the common sense to appreciate he can not win with like 35%?
Something fishy going on here for sure!

  12. The era of dead Presidents on US currency is over for the time being with the announcement that Harriet Tubman will grace to $20.00 bill. Of course Ben Carson had to chime in that they shouldn’t have replaced Andrew Jackson from the front of the note but put Harriet on the $2.00 note. I have about three US $2.00 bills relics from when I used to collect currency and coins but I will bet that many people have never seen a US $2.00 note as Americans don’t like to use them because they are considered “unlucky”
Once again Dr. Ben doesn’t know when to shut up
