It is a well known fact that an elephant that will never forget its transgressors. So too seemingly others. Whatever else could be the explanation for this obnoxious last minute elections calling. This now suicidal incurable can only spell demise for the once up-tempo ‘Dream Team‘(operative word dreaming). Who would imagine that the once loyal Nine, would become the now ‘insignificant other‘, and would have been placed to roast on the rack with the rest, all because of a spite inflicted with preponderant vindictiveness. Tremulous and unnecessary, true, but a promise is a promise and a debt must be paid. Even if it means Peter pays with Paul. Must we be reminded, there is always room for cannibalism in this politics game.

To say that retribution is a bitch maybe apt for the Eleven, but what about the less Eager? Who could forget  that inimical call. Now this mesmerism cast down on the non treacherous who were totally loyal and less peckish. Did they deserve this inequitable hand-down? Most indecipherable to say the least, to be pictured on an imaginable Scale of Justice….like the ones now up White Park. They say a shoemaker is the worst person to make his own shoes.

Definitely a feeling of every man brekking for himherself, has long time gone, as the incubus now delivers the bitter n obvious. Hard working candidates sabotaged from within. But a debt is a debt and a promise a promise. This indecorous re-enactment is most self serving and can only breed negative goodwill for  the party faithful in the future. One would hate to be a fly on the wall in a certain George St. echelons some day after elections. Who knows…maybe again ….“eads gine roll.”
