4. “The fourth reason I believe Israel has the right to the land is on the grounds of humanitarian concern.”

“You see, there were six million Jews slaughtered in Europe in World War II. The persecution against the Jews had been very strong in Russia since the advent of communism. It was against them even before then under the Czars. These people have a right to their homeland. If we are not going to allow them a homeland in the Middle East, then where? What other nation on Earth is going to cede territory, is going to give up land? They are not asking for a great deal. 5. “The fifth reason Israel ought to have the land is that she is a strategic ally of the United States.”

Israel has kept them from taking complete control of the Middle East. If it were not for Israel, they would overrun the region.”

“Israel is our strategic ally. It is good to know we have a friend in the Middle East on whom we can count. They vote with us in the United Nations more than England, more than Canada, more than France, more than Germany — more than any other country in the world.”

6. “The sixth reason is that Israel is a roadblock to terrorism.”

“The war we are now facing is not against a sovereign nation; it is against a group of terrorists who are very fluid, moving from one country to another. They are almost invisible. That is whom we are fighting against today. We need every ally we can get. If we do not stop terrorism in the Middle East, it will be on our shores.”

“One of the reasons I believe the door was opened for an attack against us is that the policy of our government has been to ask the Israelis — and demand it with pressure — not to retaliate in a significant way against the terrorist strikes that have been launched against them.”

“There were 39 Scud missiles that landed on Israeli soil during the Gulf War. Our president asked Israel not to respond. In order to have the Arab nations on board, we asked Israel not to participate in the war. The Israelis showed tremendous restraint and did not. Now we have asked them to stand back and not do anything over these last several attacks. We have criticized them. We have criticized them in our media. Local people in television and radio often criticize Israel, not knowing the true facts. We need to be informed.”

“Back in December the Israelis went into Gaza with gunships and into the West Bank with F-16s. With the exception of last May, the Israelis had not used F-16s since the 1967 Six-Day War. And I am so proud of them, because we have to stop terrorism. It is not going to go away.”

“If Israel were driven into the sea tomorrow, if every Jew in the Middle East were killed, terrorism would not end. You know that in your heart. Should they be successful in overrunning Israel — which they won’t be — it would not be enough. They will never be satisfied.”

7. “The seventh, and most important, reason why we ought to support Israel is because God said so.”

“Look it up in the book of Genesis. In Genesis 13:14-17, the Bible says: The Lord said to Abram, “Lift up now your eyes, and look from the place where you are northward, and southward, and eastward and westward: for all the land which you see, to you will I give it, and to your seed forever….Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it to thee.”

“This process continued unabated up until last year. At Camp David in the summer of 2000, the then-prime minister of Israel, Ehud Barak, offered the most generous concessions to Arafat that had ever been laid on the table. Did you know that Sharon did not go unannounced and that he contacted the Islamic authorities before he went and secured their permission and had permission to be there?”

“It was no surprise. The response was very carefully calculated. The Palestinians knew the world would not pay attention to the details. They would portray this in the Arab world as an attack upon the holy mosque and use it as an excuse to riot.”

“Over these past eight years of the peace process, when the Israeli public pressured its leaders to give up land for peace because they were tired of fighting, there has been increased terror. In fact, it has been greater in the past eight years than any other time in Israel’s history. Showing restraint and giving in has not produced any kind of peace.”

You have just answered the very question you posed. Should the land be given back to Israel ,which they already have, or should they continue to occupy and keep what is there from the beginning? Should the land in Barbados be given back to the original owners, who ever they are? I am sure the likes of you and other property owners would be up in arms, just like the Palestinians today. You can’t have it both ways. Whichever way you see it, the land belongs to the Jewish people.

Bu the question to you is: On which side would your old god of vengeance and the modern-day god Jesus take in this battle? On which side would Allah, the alleged giver of special protection to his subservient and submissive Islamic people.

A story appeared in Israel’s Haaretz newspaper last month about what happened after nine Palestinian children and one adult were killed in a school bus accident north of Jerusalem..

But worse than ignoring the tragic deaths of the children when an Israeli truck overturned their bus were the nasty, hateful things that Israelis had to say on the internet.

They revealed their names and their Facebook photos, spewing forth nauseating, hate-permeated racism that seemed to exceed anything seen here previously,” wrote Levy.

“Relax, these are Palestinian children,” Benny Dazanashvili wrote on Twitter.

“It seems these are Palestinians … God willing,” posted Tal Biton.

“I hope every day there is a bus like this,” chipped in Itai Viltzig.

“Dozens, if not hundreds, of Internet surfers said a prayer of thanks – for the terrible death by fire of young children on a school field trip – and the responses were featured on the web pages of the prime minister and the Israel Police and the Walla! Web portal,” wrote Levy.

The only light came from Meira Baruch, who wrote: “I’m 63 years old. Only a few times in my life have I been ashamed to be a Jew. Today I am ashamed. How can anyone rejoice over the death of little children?”

A seven-month-old Palestinian baby was recently saved from certain death by doctors in an Israeli hospital.

The baby, Odai Al-Kafarna was brought to Israel from Gaza by his grandmother Haniya in order to undergo open-heart surgery, according to theworld.org.

Simply put, Odai was born with a hole in his heart, causing it to work inefficiently. One side of the organ was approximately a third larger than it should have been, according to doctors, causing it to wear itself out. The surgery closed the hole using a small piece of gortex. Without surgery, Odai would not have lived long.

“In this case we caught it early,” said Godwin Jeffrey, a Tanzanian doctor on a three-year training stint with the Israeli non-profit organization, Save a Child’s Heart. “The patient will improve like any other person and he will have a very normal lifespan.”

Save a Child’s Heart is an Israeli-based group of pediatric heart surgeons who have saved more than 2,600 children with congenital heart defects from 36 countries including Iraq, Jordan, Sudan, and the Palestinian Authority. As well, Israel itself issues permits to more than 10,000 Palestinians from the Gaza Strip every year to enable them to seek medical attention at Israeli hospitals.

No hospital in Gaza has a high-tech by-pass machine, like the one Odai was hooked up to during the surgery.

‘We don’t have problems with each other’
Odai and his grandmother stayed in Israel for three weeks, before leaving the hospital and returning to their home in Beit Hanoun, in the northern Gaza Strip. Haniya, who had previously been to Israel just once, 20 years ago, said that the hospital staff treated her grandson very well.

“People are good,” she said. “Regular people are good everywhere. We don’t have problems with each other.”

Upon returning home, there was a welcome party made up of a couple dozen relatives and neighbors who waited outside, some with fireworks ready, for the arrival of the baby. Odai’s grandfather, Mahmoud Al-Kafarna said, “It’s almost as if Odai has come back from the dead.”

“Hopefully, this is a good sign for peace,” said Al-Kafarna, who expressed his gratitude towards the doctors. He fondly recalled the days before the intifada, when PA Arabs from Gaza interacted with Israelis on a daily basis.

“Maybe a family like ours one day can go visit a sick relative in an Israeli hospital. And maybe, relations between Palestinians and Israelis, eventually, will get back to normal. That’s what we wish for.”
Both Odai’s 21-year-old father, Ali Al-Kafarna and his mother, Taghreed, were thrilled to see their son return home healthy.

“These past three weeks were incredibly difficult,” said Taghreed. “But calling the hospital to hear the baby babble a little over the phone – that helped a lot.”

“I must be the happiest man in the world,” agreed Ali.

The Glory that awaits us, with Him, makes this persecution, but a transient, temporal thing, nothing compared with the unspeakable Joy, Peace, and Eternal Life, bestowed on those WHO, Love, Honor, and Glorify, HIM!
