The Late Colonel Muammar Gaddafi

The imperialist powers under the NATO slogan today continued five hundred years of genocide, murder and thief against the peoples of color of the world. It is particularly horrifying to see the world powers which just a few months ago were begging Muammar Gadhafi to buy their military materiel to better control his population are now having their useful idiots drag his bloodied, naked body through the streets of Sirte. Having been the victim of a NATO strike as he fled battle and having been captured, a mob proceeded to shoot a virtually defenceless man to the head and then concocted a fairy tale about battlefield crossfire. The pallbearers, like vultures were quick to commandeer the corpse. These included the milquetoast war president with the Nobel Peace Prize – Obama, the Zionist Sarkozy, Cameron and Hilary Clinton. They were quick to justify a cruel United Nations Resolution sponsoring a fourth generation humanitarian war supposedly for the protection of the Libyan civilians from a ‘tyrant’ but whose real interest was regime change. Regime change could allow the powers to better exploit the natural resources of Libya in order to sure up the collapsing French and British economies.

We are well aware that the conservative majority within this readership can’t wait to mouth the well known critique of Muammar Gaddafi (and his sons), largely because we expect them to be viewed as the other. Please permit us however to register our own frustrations before we tender some of his admirable qualities. Maummar Gadhafi and his sons ruled too long and too brutally over loving peoples; they squandered much of the wealth of the peoples; lived lifestyles that seemed inconsistent with some tenets of Islam; was said to be the plotter of the Lockerbie bombing; was said to have bombed a discotheque in Frankfurt; was said to have imprisoned, tortured and killed many of his fellow citizens; was a site used by the Americans and the NATO Alliance to torture suspected ‘terrorists’; invited to Libya then disappeared Imam Musa Sadr, the Shite Lebanese holy man and his companions; gave irrational responses to legitimate calls for popular political ‘democracy’ and used the military against unarmed civilians which in itself meets the definition of war crimes and crimes against humanity as defined under the Geneva Conventions of 1948. None of this and more has been properly denied.

As a ‘civilized’ society though, we must consider the utility of having people executed without judicial review and where this barbaric conduct could lead us. And now that Obama, the custodian of human rights, has executed American citizens extra-judicially we must ponder the extent to which his actions set a precedent for other leaders of the so-called ‘free world’? And how is this behavior any different to that of the so-called tin pot Dictators westerners constantly complain about? Should the leaders of the world powers not themselves be cited for war crimes, or could they continue to insist on victors’ justice? Is the International Court of Justice (ICC), with the exception of the Serbian war criminals, meant solely for African Leaders and the other ‘enemies’ of the West?

The imperial hubris of Barack Obama is in this regards much worse than that of Bush, the younger. Bush warehoused his presumptive enemies at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba, Bhagram Air Force Base, Afghanistan and many other secret prisons around the globe under the near absence of standard judicial processes. These actions represent war crimes and crimes against humanity that the ACLU and others have argued for. But Obama is seeking to avoid Bush’s pretense about justice with detention centers and tribunals by breaking all international laws through the extrajudicial killings of Anwar Al-Awlaki, Bin Laden, Abdulraham al-Awlaki, the sixteen year old son, and many others. In addition, for every one suspected terrorist Obama says he kills in the Afghanistan tribal areas and the border regions of Pakistan there are about 141 documented innocent men, women and children who died and which Western media never mention. They are of little importance.

In addition Obama is killing people every day in the famine stricken country of Somalia using drone aircrafts. Yesterday he murdered 26 Somalis using predator drones. In Yemen, the American president feels it is fit and proper to murder civilians even in circumstances where the Yemeni peoples, in their millions, are fighting the oppressive Western-backed, Saudi sponsored, brutal dictator Ali Abdullah Saleh. One can only conclude that Obama’s war doctrine is predicated on the notion that the blood of people of color is less valuable than the blood of white people. Those of us in the peace and justice movement suspected that Gadhafi would soon be eliminated once we saw this ‘prince of peace’ deploying 100 American soldiers to Uganda supposedly to fight rebel there. It was the said Gadhafi who had worked tirelessly to frustrate the American attempts to set up the Africom military apparatus on African soil as consistent with American policy of full spectrum dominance. The African Union, under Gadhafi leadership had decided that Africom should not be provided with military bases on the continent. Further the removal of Gadhafi not only opens up Africa to American militarism but also has implications for the wider geo-political, geo-strategic machinations of the West as they try to counter China’s global rise.

It was Gadhafi who helped to open up Africa to the Chinese. It was Gadhafi who supported global liberation struggles in the sub-continent and elsewhere. Gadhafi funded many projects in Africa. It was Gadhafi who apologized for the Arab role in the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade; Gadhafi thought Libya to be a black African country and deemphasized Arabism; he was the one who set up an African development model to rid countries from the vultures of the IMF and World Bank. He was the significant mover behind the African Union. His country has no national debt. He had long converted much of Libya’s wealth into gold and Libya was a leading country as measured by its relative holdings of reserves. He found water in the desert and piped it for miles to his peoples. It was Maummar Gadhafi who greened large areas of the Libyan Desert. Every Libyan is entitled to education, health care and a house after marriage if one could not be afforded. If medical care was unavailable in Libya citizens were sent abroad. Libyan resources are owned by Libya to the envy of French and British corporations.  It was Obama’s military industrial complex, as the controller of NATO, which provided the assets for the French, British and a coalition of the willing to destroy Gadhafi. We consider however that Libya will not sit quietly and allow Cameron and Sarkozy to feast on its corpse.

Few of us are saddened by the end of the Peoples’ Socialist Libyan Jamahiriya founded through the Al-Fateh Revolution of 42 years ago. It comes at a time when dominos are falling all over North Africa and the Middle East and may soon extend elsewhere. Our reading of the geo-strategic circumstance suggests that several other Western backed fiefdoms and/or dictatorships in the region are likely to follow. These could include Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Yemen. We are not however, unconvinced that the so-called Western democracies or even China will be sheltered for this global revival of the revolutionary spirit of 1968 that is erupting everywhere around the globe. While the US will like to see instability in China and is continuing a strategy to encircle China it is unlikely the USA will want to see the fall of the most autocratic dictatorship of all – Saudi Arabia. However, demonstrations are continuing apace in the eastern provinces. When the House of Saud starts to burn no one in the West will be able to put it out.

  1. Mr.David, you do accept that according to Mr.CC and Mr.Sarge, we have just wasted time getting a new Chief Justice?

With their cowboy law support, the Police could have cleaned up the drug lords etc forthwith, raiding and beating them, and disposing quickly, after all, they are as much demons as Gaddafi, selling drugs to children and teenagers.

They are just as bad as Gaddafi, so they dont need no trail either.

Let the Police do their job and beat these scum and drag the bodies through the streets.

Thanks for the suggestion THAT THE END JUSTIFIES THE MEANS Mr.Sarge and Mr,CC!!!

  2. @ David..

    ManU 1 ManC 3

    Wonderful start to the day.

Tevez will go eventually but the club will make $$$$ on him.

  4. A bit more on Castro’s Salve Camp, as its the closest, most violent, DICTATORSHIP to our shores, venerated by the likes of Commissiong, and other locally bread LEFTISTS; who can also forget the way Branford Taite, embraced Castro, as this TYRANT landed in B’dos, with others in their blinded folly, looking on at Castro, like a ‘god’ worthy of such verneration!

“The reign of terror against American POWS in Vietnam, was just a reflection of Castro’s treatment of his own PEOPLE. In addition to physical hardships even for those who don’t wind up in prison or labor camp, his police state had denied Cubans any freedom at all. They do not have the right to travel out of their country. They do not have the right of free association or the right to form political parties, independent unions, or religious or cultural organizations. This regime has OUTLAWED free expression; it has consistently censored publications, radio, television, and film. A Committee for the Defense of the Cuban Revolution (CDR) governs EVERY single city block and EVERY argricultural production unit. The CDR’s purpose is to monitor the affairs of EVERY family and report anything suspicious. A Cuban’s ENTIRE LIFE is spent under surveillance of his CDR, which controls everything from food rations to his employment to his use of free time. A vicious RACISM against BLACKS accompanies this repression. In pre-Castro Cuba, blacks enjoyed upward social mobility, and served in many government positions. In Castro’s Cuba, the jail population is 80% BALCK, while the government hierarchy is 100% white.”

So, to those LEFTISTS ideologues, here on BU, like BAF, et al, go and live in your darling Cuba, and help wipe Castro’s rectum rectorum, in your pathologically twisted sickness, instead of thanking God Almighty for the freedoms we enjoy, and take for granted here in Bimshire, that come with our democratic rights.

  5. Another perspective:

Here is why President Zuma is a dog: Mandela told Gaddafi: “My brother leader, my brother leader. How nice to see you.”
Shortly afterwards, he told reporters he remained unimpressed by U.S. opposition to his mission, adding: “Those who say I should not be here are without morals. I am not going to join them in their lack of morality.”
Mandela said he had spent 27 years in jail rather than abandon his principles under pressure and said he felt the same way about his debt to Gaddafi and the Libyan people for their support in the struggle against apartheid.
“This man helped us at a time when we were all alone, when those who say we should not come here were helping the enemy (South Africa’s white government),” Mandela said.

  6. @BAFBFP
I know you love to argue just to exercise your brain a lil BUT you are NOT going to sign away your rights to live in THE WEST especially BIM to go to live under any of these dictators, YOU ARE FAR too CLEVER and practical for dat! You might consider taking over as DICTATOR though!

Life in Cuba is horrible unless u are well connected to the rulers crowd! I have been to 4 completely different sectors of Cuba and met mostly digruntled peeps all the way. TALK IS CHEAP!

    @Chickenlikkel

It may well be unjustified to arrest the Occupy crowd BUT in The Col’s Libya they would be shot or tortured! NO COMPARISON WHATSOEVER!

  7. Libyan Rebels Accused of “Ethnic Cleansing,” Black Genocide

” NATO and U.S.-backed rebel forces in Libya are reportedly engaging in systematic attacks against the black population in what some analysts have called war crimes and even genocide, sparking condemnation worldwide from human-rights groups and officials.

Reports and photographic evidence indicate that numerous atrocities including mass executions have taken place even in recent weeks. Many black victims were found with their hands bound behind their backs and bullets through their skulls.

Horrific internment camps, systematic rape, torture, lynching, and looting of businesses owned by blacks have all been reported as well. And countless sub-Saharan Africans have been forced to flee their homes in Libya to avoid the same fate.

The al-Qaeda-linked rebels’ campaign of racist terror began shortly after the Benghazi uprising in February. More than a few videos surfaced on the internet in the early months of the conflict showing brutal lynchings and beheadings while Western-backed rebels cheered.

But as insurgent forces solidify their grip over most of Libya, the race-based persecution is quickly intensifying. Entire cities and towns formerly occupied by blacks have been ethnically cleansed and destroyed.

“The Brigade for Purging Slaves, black Skin” — apparently a rebel slogan — was found months ago scrawled all along the road to Tawergha. And today, the coastal city of about 10,000 mostly black residents has essentially been wiped off the map.

Rebel forces rounded up remaining inhabitants and reportedly took them to camps, although reporters searching for the former residents have not been able to locate them. Homes, businesses, and schools were then looted before being burned to the ground.

Finally, graffiti reading “slaves,” “negroes,” and “abeed” — a derogatory term for blacks — was painted all over the ruins by NATO’s revolutionaries. The former city is now a “closed military area,” according to rebels guarding a checkpoint interviewed by the McClatchy news service. ”

  8. I am still waiting to see the Castro apologist get in their rinky boats and thread the shark infested waters to live in Cuba instead of shouting across the water .Thousands of Cubans fled Communist Cuba and head for the Usa just for freedom. ..the very rights which we take for granted are those which people are dying for.

  9. Here is a side note:

“BreakingNews Breaking News Libya’s transitional leader says IslamicSharia law will be the ‘basic source’ of all law – AP”

  10. Mr.David, Told you so, that they are surrounding Israel with Shias, I thought initially that it was a mistake, now am seriously wondering if indeed, this is THE PLAN!?

The only question left now is, is this intended for deliberate provocation and retailiation against the Islamic belief, or is it really intended for the dedtruction of Israel?

Congrats Mr..Zoe, you have your prophecy.

  11. @Ms.ac. Waiting in vain? Have you even considered what has been posted in respect of a former senior financial advisor and operative to the Nazi regime, that his son became leader of the secret service of the US, then the US President? Do you quite understand the implications?

Then currently the arrest of simple demonstrators in the US for no more than BEING THERE?

(No Mr.Moneybrain, control by various measures still amounts to….you guessed it..control.)

And yet you trust these people implicitly??

    As P.T.Barnum said….

In the west, we have other ways of control too. Like getting your job lost, making it hard for you to live etc….

I certainly have nothing against the US and it has some great qualities in many of its people, but believe that morals and justice should have no bounds, qualification nor blinkers. And all of our governments have agendas beyond understanding, that we must as citizens not take anything they say blindly.

  12. Firing for Media Effect: Setting the “African” Agenda
    by Maximilian Forte

“We left behind our friends from Chad. We left behind their bodies. We had 70 or 80 people from Chad working for our company. They cut them dead with pruning shears and axes, attacking them, saying you’re providing troops for Gadhafi. The Sudanese, the Chadians were massacred. We saw it ourselves.”

  13. ” The lies used to justify the NATO war against Libya have surpassed those created to justify the invasion of Iraq. Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch both had honest observers on the ground for months following the rebellion in eastern Libya and both have repudiated every major charge used to justify the NATO war on Libya.

According to the Amnesty observer, who is fluent in Arabic, there is not one confirmed instance of rape by the pro-Gadaffi fighters, not even a doctor who knew of one. All the Viagra mass rape stories were fabrications.

Amnesty could not verify a single “African mercenary” fighting for Gaddafi story, and the highly charged international satellite television accounts of African mercenaries raping women that were used to panic much of the eastern Libyan population into fleeing their homes were fabrications….”

Libya War Lies Worse Than Iraq

  14. “Man’s heart (desires, intentions, etc) IS* deceitfull above ALL things and desperately WICKED; who can KNOW it?” (Jer.17:9) Only Almighty God KNOWS the heart of all men!

    There is NO such thing as white SIN, or black SIN, or for that matter any other colour of SIN; as SIN* permeates the ENTIRE human RACE, bar none, for;

“ALL (mankind) have SINNED* and come short of the Glory of God.” ( Rom. 3:23)

“The wages of SIN, is DEATH, but the gift of God, is ETERNAL LIFE, through Jesus Christ our LORD.” (Rom. 6:23)

The door to this present, End-Time era, age, is closing rapidly; ALL of the converging factors, worldwide, that the Lord Jesus Christ, summarized in Matthew chapter 24, are literally unfolding before our eyes and lives daily; with Israel, in the Middle East, as the very apex of consummation, of the final aspects of the few remaining prophecies to be fulfilled.

The Gospel imperative given 2,000 ago, remains in tact, ‘Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand.”

The choice still remains the individuals, right, to either ‘accept’ or ‘reject’ God offer of Mercy, Grace, and Love, to ALL men, IN* BY* and through, the Only Saviour and Lord, there IS* Jesus Christ, who bore and PAID IN FULL* the eternal price for our Redemption.

Don’t let, the mass confusion anywhere in the world, prevent us from turning to the One who LOVES us, but will NOT impose Himself on anyone, as He gave us FREE WILL, to choose Him, and LIVE, Eternally, in His Glory, or reject Him, and be SEPARATED from His LIGHT, LOVE, and PEACE, which is everlasting darkness, and misery,

As Darkess is the absence of LIGHT, and cold is the absence of heat, so Hell’s darkness, pain, and suffering, is the total absence of God’s LIGHT, LOVE and warmth!

We cannot have one without the converse OTHER!

  15. Human Rights Watch says it has seen no evidence of mercenaries being used in eastern Libya. This contradicts widespread earlier reports in the international media that African soldiers had been flown in to fight rebels in the region as Muammar Gaddafi sought to keep control.
In an interview with Radio Netherlands Worldwide in Libya, Peter Bouckaert from Human Rights Watch said he had conducted research and found no proof of mercenaries being used. Investigator Bouckaert, who has been in the region for two weeks, told RNW that he had been to Al Bayda after receiving reports that 156 mercenaries had been arrested there.
    Black Libyans
The town is to the east of the city Benghazi and is also in the hands of the anti-Gaddafi protesters.
The rights investigator said that what he found there were, in fact, 156 soldiers from the south of Libya and not from another African country. After talking to them he found out that they were all black Libyans of African descent. The soldiers have since been released by the protesters.

  16. ” Dozens of Chadians have been ‘singled out’ and ‘executed,’ falsely accused of acting as mercenaries for Muammar Gaddafi’s regime, according to Chad.
The African nation of Chad has called on Libya’s Euro-American “humanitarian” overseers to protect Chadian citizens from lynching at the hands of rebels backed by the West. The government in N’Djamena, which certainly has no interest in antagonizing the Euro-American juggernaut that has assumed a “responsibility to protect” whomever it designates as “civilians” in the territory of its northern neighbor, issued a formal request for “international coalition forces involved in Libya and international human rights organizations to stop these abuses against Chadians and other migrant Africa workers.” Dozens of Chadians have been “singled out” and “executed,” falsely accused of acting as mercenaries for Muammar Gaddafi’s regime, according to Chad, 300,000 of whose citizens were among the 1.5 million black African migrant laborers in Libya at the time of the February revolt.

Numerous reports from migrant workers who escaped from rebel-held areas indicate hundreds of black Africans have been lynched, including black Libyan citizens…..”

  17. Yes, many of the reports by both Amnesty International and HRW have been misleading. Some would argue that they have somewhat of a pattern in misinforming the global public. For instance, they had both ealier argued that the Syrian government was killing its people en mass. We now know that the situation in Damascus is very much more complex than those simplictic reports. In fact, there is significant evidence that other state actors are deeply involve in the instigation of the rebellion there. The Syrians themselves and independent media have on many occasions broadcasted images of illicit arm shipments, interviews of captured anti-government combatants, the envolvement of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Israel, certian Lebonese Christian factions and Jordan. They are rightly arguing that NATO and the US are sponsoring a coup to protect Israel. Our reading of the the situation suggest the Assad government might be right given that the given has agreed to have the kind of transformation the opposition is demanding. Secondly, should the Assad regime be toppled the situation in Syria is likely to produce a government that is likely to be more unfriendly to the USA and Israel. In any event Assad seems to control the majority of the public opinion and is less exposed than previoulsy to the extent where the NATO, including Turkey are losing the hope of a victory. History is replete with instaces were the truth is the first victim in war. Remember a PR firm (Hill & Knolton) had the daughter of the Kuwati ambassador testify to Congress that Samdam had torn babies from incubators to develop a causus beli. In any event the political objectives of any war are always best achieved in the minds of the people – fourth generation warfare.

  18. ” Human Rights Investigations has been repeatedly warning about the Libyan rebels and it has become increasingly clear that racism lies at the very heart of the conflict in Libya. It now clear that the rebel forces are NATO (and Qatar and UAE)’s proxy fighters on the ground. Many of these fighters have been recruited and motivated on the basis of psy-ops about African mercenaries, fired up by viagra, mass-raping women and pillaging their cities – discredited stories which have been spread and amplified by rebel commanders, NATO ministers, the media and ICC prosecutor Moreno Ocampo.

The effects of this pernicious propaganda campaign have been seen in Benghazi, Misrata and Tawergha and across the nation and are now being seen on the streets of Tripoli as rebels round up black-skinned Libyans and African guest workers, putting them into football stadiums.

    AP reports:

Virtually all of the detainees say they are innocent migrant workers, and in most cases there is no evidence that they are lying. But that is not stopping the rebels from placing the men in facilities like the Gate of the Sea sports club, where about 200 detainees – all black – clustered on a soccer field this week, bunching against a high wall to avoid the scorching sun.

In the Khallat al-Firjan neighborhood in south Tripoli, Associated Press reporters saw rebel forces punching a dozen black men before determining they were innocent migrant workers and releasing them.

Racism lies at the heart of many of the NATO campaigns, including in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq where innocents are slaughtered in a way that simply would not be accepted if the victims were white.

NATO’s chief weapon in the Libyan conflict has been and continues to be, not Brimstone or Paveway bombs, Tornados, Typhoons or Tomahawk cruise missiles – but racism.”

  19. To appreciate the importance of racism in motivating soldiers please listen to Mike Prysner’s speech made at the 2008 Winter Soldier hearings:
“And I tried hard to be proud of my service but all I could feel was shame and racism could no longer mask the occupation. These were people. These were human beings. I’ve since been plagued by guilt anytime I see an elderly man, like the one who couldn’t walk and we rolled onto a stretcher, told the Iraqi police to take him away. I feel guilt anytime I see a mother with her children like the one who cried hysterically and screamed that we were worse than Saddam as we forced her from her home. I feel guilt anytime I see a young girl like the one I grabbed by the arm and dragged into the street.

”We were told we were fighting terrorists, but the real terrorist was me and the real terrorism is this occupation. Racism within the military has long been an important tool to justify the destruction and occupation of another country. It has long been used to justify the killing, subjugation, and torture of another people. Racism is a vital weapon deployed by this government. It is a more important weapon than a rifle, a tank, a bomber or a battleship. It is more destructive than an artillery shell, or a bunker buster, or a tomahawk missile. While all of those weapons are created and owned by this government, they are harmless without people willing to use them.

”Those who send us to war do not have to pull a trigger or lob a mortar round. They do not have to fight the war. They merely have to sell the war. They need a public who is willing to send their soldiers into harm’s way and they need soldiers who are willing to kill or be killed without question. They can spend millions on a single bomb, but that bomb only becomes a weapon when the ranks in the military are willing to follow orders to use it. They can send every last soldier anywhere on earth, but there will only be a war if soldiers are willing to fight, and the ruling class: the billionaires who profit from human suffering care only about expanding their wealth, controlling the world economy, understand that their power lies only in their ability to convince us that war, oppression, and exploitation is in our interests. They understand that their wealth is dependent on their ability to convince the working class to die to control the market of another country. And convincing us to kill and die is based on their ability to make us think that we are somehow superior. Soldiers, sailors, marines, airmen, have nothing to gain from this occupation.

”The vast majority of people living in the US have nothing to gain from this occupation. In fact, not only do we have nothing to gain, but we suffer more because of it. We lose limbs, endure trauma, and give our lives. Our families have to watch flag draped coffins lowered into the earth. Millions in this country without healthcare, jobs, or access to education must watch this government squander over $450 million a day on this occupation. Poor and working people in this country are sent to kill poor and working people in another country to make the rich richer, and without racism soldiers would realize that they have more in common with the Iraqi people than they do with the billionaires who send us to war

”I threw families onto the street in Iraq only to come home and find families thrown onto the street in this country in this tragic, tragic and unnecessary foreclosure crisis; only to wake up and realize that our real enemies are not in some distant land. But not people whose names we don’t know, and cultures we don’t understand. The enemy is people we know very well and people we can identify. The enemy is a system that wages war when it’s profitable. The enemy is the CEO who lays us off our jobs when it’s profitable; it’s the insurance companies who deny us health care when it’s profitable; it’s the banks who take away our homes when it’s profitable. Our enemies are not 5000 miles away, they are right here at home. If we organize and fight with our sisters and brothers, we can stop this war, we can stop this government, and we can create a better world.”

  20. Establishment Media Re-Brands Racist, Bloodthirsty Rebels as Freedom Fighters

” The fact that the corporate press has gone all out to give Belhadj’s character a facelift, presenting him to the world as a legitimate player in post-Gaddafi Libya, when in reality he directed terrorists who killed U.S. troops, underscores how complicit the media has been in selling the entire humanitarian hoax behind NATO’s war.

However, as the Washington Times story notes, members of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, which according to separate reports has refused to hand over power to the Transitional National Council, are likely to be renouncing their terrorist ties “just for show,” with the aid of the BBC and the NY Times, as a ploy through which to maintain their political legitimacy.

Evidence that the terrorists’ new found love for freedom and democracy is indeed “just for show,” and a camouflage for aggressive plans to turn Libya into an Islamist state, can be seen in their treatment of Libya’s large black population.

As we reported last week, migrant black workers have been subjected to abuse, torture, mass round-ups and executions at the hands of Libya’s new liberators.

Amnesty International workers witnessed the bodies of blacks being dumped by rebels after they were killed at makeshift hospital facility that bore the symbol of the Islamic Crescent.

Incarcerating thousands of blacks in prison camps can hardly be judged the work of freedom fighters, as the BBC, the NY Times and others have attempted to characterize Belhadj’s LIFG.

However, just as the press could be relied upon to recast NATO’s aggressive bombardment of Libya as a humanitarian peace mission, they can also be trusted when it comes to portraying western-backed racist, bloodthirsty rebels as righteous bringers of peace, joy and happiness.”

  21. Black Women Report Rape by Rebel Forces in Libya Refugee Camps:

” The news doesn’t get better for thousands of black Africans trapped in Libya, besieged by racist rebel fighters. In addition to chronic suspicion of being mercenaries for Gadhafi, women in one internal refugee camp say they are dragged off at night and raped by Libyans who fight under the flag of the new authorities.

“They come in firing their guns and taking people,” a Nigerian woman told McClatchy. “They don’t use condoms…”

US Ambassador Gene Cretz doesn’t think the abuses are systematic or intentional on the part of the Transitional National Council, whose forces recently routed dictator Moammar Gadhafi. “It’s something that’s happening at levels below that, which is of considerable concern to us,” he told McClatchy.

A local TNC official dismisses the claims of the women, saying he’s received no reports of abuse.

Thousands of foreign and Libyan blacks have been rounded up, imprisoned, and abused with only their skin color as evidence of their guilt, according to rights groups. The African Union has refused to recognize the NTC partly due to such abuses.”

  22. Terrific… Libyan Rebel Leader Fought With Islamists Against US in Afghanistan

Posted by Jim Hoft on Friday, March 25, 2011.

“A 2007 West Point study showed that the Benghazi-Darnah-Tobruk region in Libya was a world leader in Al Qaeda suicide bomber recruitment. (Mathaba)

The leader of the Libyan rebel forces fought against the US in Afghanistan until he was captured in 2002. He also admitted that his fighters have Al-Qaeda links.
    The Telegraph reported:

Abdel-Hakim al-Hasidi, the Libyan rebel leader, has said jihadists who fought against allied troops in Iraq are on the front lines of the battle against Muammar Gaddafi’s regime.

In an interview with the Italian newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore, Mr al-Hasidi admitted that he had recruited “around 25″ men from the Derna area in eastern Libya to fight against coalition troops in Iraq. Some of them, he said, are “today are on the front lines in Adjabiya”.

Mr al-Hasidi insisted his fighters “are patriots and good Muslims, not terrorists,” but added that the “members of al-Qaeda are also good Muslims and are fighting against the invader”.

His revelations came even as Idriss Deby Itno, Chad’s president, said al-Qaeda had managed to pillage military arsenals in the Libyan rebel zone and acquired arms, “including surface-to-air missiles, which were then smuggled into their sanctuaries”.

Mr al-Hasidi admitted he had earlier fought against “the foreign invasion” in Afghanistan, before being “captured in 2002 in Peshwar, in Pakistan”. He was later handed over to the US, and then held in Libya before being released in 2008.

More… Several of the rebel leaders remain anonymous. We have absolutely no idea who these fighters are that we are assisting.
    Mathaba reported:

Many commentators have voiced anxiety because of the mystery which surrounds the anti-Qaddafi transitional government which emerged at the beginning of March in the city of Benghazi, located in the Cyrenaica district of north-eastern Libya. This government has already been recognized by France and Portugal as the sole legitimate representative of the Libyan people. The rebel council seems to be composed of just over 30 delegates, many of whom are enveloped in obscurity. In addition, the names of more than a dozen members of the rebel council are being kept secret, allegedly to protect them from the vengeance of Qaddafi. But there may be other reasons for the anonymity of these figures…

…Almost one fifth of the foreign fighters entering Iraq across the Syrian border came from Libya, a country of just over 6 million people. A higher proportion of Libyans were interested in fighting in Iraq than any other country contributing mujahedin. Felter and Fishman point out: “Almost 19 percent of the fighters in the Sinjar Records came from Libya alone.”

  23. United Nations Says “No Comment” On Ethnic Cleansing Of Black Libyans

” The Wall Street Journal reports today that Black people have been emptied from the City of Tawergha in Libya, their homes razed, and that the words “slaves” and “negroes” are scribbled on their abandoned buildings in the now ghost town by the NATO-backed rebels.

The chilling account of ethnic-cleansing of Black people in Libya, occurring right before our eyes, appears under the headline “Revenge Feeds Instability in Libya.”

These are the “liberators” that President Barack Obama, President Nicolas Sarkozy and Prime Minister David Cameron helped install in Libya to replace Maummar al-Quathafi? They all rejected an African Union proposal that would have brought a ceasefire and the warring parties to a table to create a constitution and to hold elections.

Meanwhile, the so-called “prime minister” of the “rebels” Mahmoud Jibril, is quoted in the Journal, with respect to the fate of the Black citizens of Tawergha, saying: “Regarding Tawergha my own viewpoint is that nobody has the right to interfere in this matter except the people of Misurata,” who are actually the ones doing the cleansing. Surely Jibril knows that he’s inciting to further ethnic cleansing.

An earlier Wall Street Journal article had reported that the Misurata unit carrying out the deed is called “The Brigade for Purging Slaves, black Skin.” So we are witnessing genocide of Black people in Africa again and doing nothing. Simply because Washington, London, and Paris happen to support the “rebels” who are committing the targeted killings.

“Now, rebels have been torching homes in the abandoned city 25 miles to the south,” of Misurata, reports the Journal. The Journal’s reporter also witnessed the burning of “more than a dozen homes,” and adds, “On the gates of many vandalized homes in the country’s only coastal city dominated by dark-skinned people, light-skinned rebels scrawled the words ‘slaves’ and ‘negroes.’”

The White House has yet to issue a single statement condemning this ethnic cleansing of Black people. Hillary Clinton’s Department of State remains mute. The leaders of organizations that profess to protect the rights of Black people, such as the NAACP’s Ben Jealous and the National Urban League’s Marc Morial, have yet to make statements. Surely, someone must read The Wall Street Journal.

This is the second article detailing the specific campaign to wipe out Black Libyans that The Journal has reported on; the first article was on June 21, 2011.

Other major corporate media, such as The New York Times, CNN, and BBC, all of which to varying degrees surrendered pretense at “objectivity” and openly supported the NATO bombardments are now in a bind. They have yet to report major stories on the ethnic cleansing in Misurata and Tawergha. Rather than concede that the side they supported in the
civil war is carrying out war crimes they would rather suppress the story.

Welcome to the 21st Century; the Newspeak George Orwell feared.

Had it not been for The Wall Street Journal breaking ranks with other corporate media, this genocide might well have been concealed and attributed to a figment of al-Quathafi’s imagination.

Even the United Nations was unable to respond today to the ethnic cleansing reports when contacted by The Black Star News, and after the Journal’s reports were forwarded. A spokesman for Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon was asked whether: the targeted actions qualified as ethnic cleansing; whether they qualified as war crimes, and; whether the United Nations is demanding for an investigation.

The spokesman, Eduardo del Buey, ignored the specific questions and responded with a statement from the UN’s High Commissioner for Human Rights, Navi Pillay, which in part states that “In situations of transition or unrest, restraint must be observed.”

Small comfort to the now depleted citizenry of Tawergha.

“We are not commenting on media reports. The High Commissioner speaks to the issue of human rights, and this is what she has said to date in Libya,” Eduardo del Buey added.

When contacted for reaction, Brenda Jones, a spokesperson for Congressman John Lewis, stressed that Rep. Lewis, the civil rights hero, as a matter of principle, opposes warfare as solutions for resolving disputes even though there might
have been legitimate human rights concerns. “He does not agree with war because of its ramifications, because it leads to these moral compromises,” she said. “It puts you in a difficult position, where you have to commit the same crimes that you are intending to stop.”

More U.S. elected officials and ordinary Americans of all races should read The Wall Street Journal’s accounts and weigh in on the reported crimes being committed by the rebels. They are, after all, in power due in part to American support.

The Journal articles also quotes a Misratan rebel leader, Mohammed Ben Ras Ali, saying, “Tawergha is no more.”

How many times does the world have to keep saying “never again”? ”

  24. ZOE AND T. BLACKETT ARE HAPPY THAT BLACK PEOPLE ARE BEING SLAUGHTERED IN LIBYA. THESE GUYS ARE DOUBLE AGENTS

  25. Racist murders in Libya at the hands of rebel forces
    by Madison Ruppert.

” The mainstream media is already engaging in widespread damage control in an attempt to mitigate the fallout of the reality of the situation in Libya and the withering NATO-sponsored narrative of post-Gaddafi Libya. They are called “Gaddafi loyalists”, “Sub-Saharan mercenaries” and other phrases all pointing to the unfortunate reality that every single black person is now considered by the rebels to be a mercenary hired by Gaddafi. The Libyan rebels and those carrying water for them in the Western media are now attempting to conceal the fact that they are now committing crimes against humanity in the active targeting of innocent black Libyans. Some call the attacks “reprisals” or “revenge” but in reality they are hateful murders carried out by the al Qaeda-affiliated, Western backed and trained rebels. These killings are irrefutably tied to the wildly racist and wholly unfounded claims that Gaddafi hired Sub-Saharan African mercenaries to murder his own people during the uprising.Unfortunately for the painfully ignorant rebels and their Western compatriots, this is simply not true and has never been verified in any way…”

  26. Rare BBC coverage of the racist rebel onslaught
    18/09/2011

“The myth of ‘African mercenaries’ in Libya has been used since the start of the Libyan conflict to explain away and cover up the mass lynching of black Libyans and migrant workers in Libya by racist elements of the rebels. The mainstream media have largely been complicit in this NATO/rebel propaganda and have maintained the NATO narrative of portraying the rebels as ‘democratic freedom fighters’ who seek liberation. This is despite the readily available evidence of racist attacks on black Libyans and migrant workers by rebels.

Many black Libyans and migrant workers fled to Tripoli to escape the ethnic cleansing policy of rebel elements in the East of Libya. Pro-government civilian militias and security forces in Tripoli offered these refugees protection from the racist rebel onslaught. With the NATO/rebel attack on Tripoli, black Libyans and migrant workers have been left exposed to widespread racist attacks.

    Amnesty International crisis researcher Donatella Rovera on the issue of ‘African Mercenaries’;

‘’We examined this issue in depth and found no evidence. The rebels spread these rumours everywhere, which had terrible consequences for African guest workers: there was a systematic hunt for migrants, some were lynched and many arrested. Since then, even the rebels have admitted there were no mercenaries, almost all have been released and have returned to their countries of origin, as the investigations into them revealed nothing.”

Since the start of the conflict the BBC and Al Jazeera (British and Qatari state television) have been at the forefront of peddling the vicious ‘African mercenary’ propaganda despite the likes of Amnesty International repeatedly dismissing these baseless allegations. The BBC have only recently acknowledged and started to cover the racist persecution these people face in Libya despite the crimes being evident throughout the conflict. However the reporting is always deceptively interwoven with the myth of ‘African mercenaries’ in an attempt to justify and give context to the widespread heinous crimes committed by the rebels against black Libyans and migrant workers.

    ………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

The fighters forced their way into the Nigerian family’s home. They beat the couple living there. They stole their possessions and money, abducted the father of the house and turned on his 16-year-old daughter. She told us what happened:

“A group of armed men came to our house. They started knocking, they came in saying ‘murtazaka’. They locked my mother inside a toilet. Six of them raped me. They took our belongings and money. My father tried to stop them but they hit him and carried him away.”

That was nearly three weeks ago and she has not seen or heard of her father since.

Evidence has emerged in a series of interviews that suggests that some engaged in a violent campaign of abuse and intimidation against the black immigrant community in Tripoli.

Hundreds of men have been arrested with little or no evidence, homes have been pillaged and people beaten up. Most victims are too afraid to be identified but they contacted the BBC to air their grievances.

One man showed us around another home that had been ransacked. A thick iron bar in the corner of the dark room had been used to beat the men and the women there as the rebels made off with their money and few possessions.”

FIREPOSSE, Who ever you are, you are a vicious, LIAR and FOE of the Truth of the Gospel of Christ, a virulent stranger to Truth!

  29. To be expected it is being reported Mugabe and Chevez have not recognized the Libya leadership.

  30. Let’s see which among the shameless African leaders actually do

  31. I shudder to think of the response from the Caricom Sec Gen … just another in a long line of puppets …

  32. “Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has bested Hamas’ generosity and is honoring freed terrorists with a $5,000 grant, partially funded by the United States and the European Union. Meanwhile, Hamas urges more kidnappings.
A PA law states that salaries “will be implemented… on the basis of available sources of funding,” reported the Arab daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida last April. Abbas warned earlier this month that Washington’s decision to suspend financial aid to the PA damages the “peace process.”

Abbas, you LYING terrorist, what “peace process” what? You’ve already sworn to uphold the DEADLY agenda of your predecessor, ARAFAT, to WIPE Israel off the earth, and to establish a Palestinian state in the entire land area of Israel. And these IDIOTS in the US Congress, give the PA MILLIONS to pay PA terrorist salaries!
Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) noted at the time that “it is the contributions by the United States and other foreign donors to the PA general budget that facilitates the payment of monthly salaries to the terrorist prisoners.”
Palestinian Authority Prisoners Affairs Minister Issa Qaraqi stated at the end of last week that Abbas would pay the grant to hundreds of the freed terrorists and security prisoners, more than the $2000 grant announced by de facto Gaza Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh of Hamas.
He did not immediately state the amount of the grant, but Israel state radio reports had estimated it at more than the usual amount of double the $860 monthly salaries paid to military personnel.
Abbas has frequently stated that the PA cannot pay monthly salaries without foreign aid.
The grants to terrorists also contradict Abbas’ commitments not to encourage terror.
Meanwhile, Hamas continues to urge more kidnappings of Israeli soldiers as bargaining chips to force the freeing of approximately 5,000 Arab security prisoners and terrorists still in Israeli prisons.”

  33. Has Barbados recognized the new Libya leadership yet?

  34. Reservists’ Group: ‘Don’t Swap Terrorists For Us!’

    by Chana Ya’ar

An IDF reservists’ group called “My Israel” is calling on soldiers to sign a petition not to participate in future terrorist swaps that would free murderers with blood on their hands.

The move comes following the release of 477 terrorists, including many fulfilling exactly such criteria, as part of a prisoner exchange deal to free kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit, held hostage for more than five years by the Hamas terrorist rulers of Gaza. Shalit was freed last week in the first phase of the two-part exchange, which will eventually free 1,027 Palestinian Authority inmates of Israeli prisoners, including many murderers serving multiple life sentences who immediately vowed upon their release to renew their terrorist careers as soon as possible.

The petition, which can be found on the group’s website, urges the government not to ever agree to a prisoner swap that frees terrorists with blood on their hands.

Signatories on the petition agree not to participate in such a swap if they are ever, G-d forbid, captured or kidnapped in future action.

“We demand [the government] not release murderers, also at the price of our own personal lives,” clarified the reservists.

My Israel chairperson Ayelet Shaked and David Tzviel, who initiated the petition, said the campaign is intended to facilitate the efforts of decision makers who might in future be faced with the need to negotiate for the release of Israeli soldiers in captivity.

“When soldiers and reservists say they are ready to bear on their shoulders the burden of [defending the nation], even the terrible suffering [if] captured by the enemy, to save Israel from the terrible danger posed to the country due to the release of terrorists — the State of Israel can’t avoid expressing a firm, resolute and clear stance against the terrorist organizations in this matter,” said the two.

Netanyahu, at the recently concluded UN General Assembly, said, ‘Bad press, is better than a good ulogy.”

How many really understand what the Israeli PM was intimating?! Releasing so many terrorist, murderers, in exchange for one Israeli soldier…what does the PM have up his sleave!!!

  35. This Libya thing is a COMPLETE DISASTER..

Sorry, but It is really looking to me like a serious plan to create a major Middle East conflict, resulting in Israel fighting for its life.

    WHO is behind this???

    THAT is your question.

Better stock up on the iodine, we may need it for the fallout.

And if you think I am over-reacting, check the latest on the Libya already been declared a Sharia state.

By the way ac, you may very well be better off in Mr.BAFBFP’s Cuba that you mock, in the ‘new’ Libya you wont have a vote nor say, not as a woman.

    What a mess.

  36. ”what does the PM have up his sleave!!”

Mr.Zoe, go buy your iodine before the stocks run out. Nato has demonstrated that the big stick is all that matters now.

And no one has a bigger stick than Israel. Unfortunately, some idiot seems intent on making Israel use it. And I am wondering who has infiltrated where, or whether the agenda that caused WWII really went away, or was merely well hidden.

  37. When you come right down to it,during the last 4 decades,Libya has had a single dictator thrust upon her, while at the same time we here in Barbados, for most of that time were happy to go to the polls and elect our very own dictators.

  38. PRETTY BLUE EYES Avatar

@ Zoe @ PhD 7 BOY BOUE, if Libya have you ever asked yourself, why wouldn’t NATO go and help those poor suffering Sudanese people of course not, they are not Oil rich, if not for the oil in Libya, America France or Britain would not care for the Libyans and that is the plain truth and please stop quoting the bible to suit your sickening purpose.Jesus said to forgive, turn the other cheek or you don’t know that part of the bible.Everyone has a soul, what they did to the man was wrong. Libya had a dictator for 42 years, we were happy going to the polls for 46 years, they had a dictator thrust upon them, that made their standard of living the richest in the African continent, we happily voted for either of 2 parties, that have done so much for us and no more, our politicians refuse to walk the streets and help those who really need it.Tell me boy blue who is better of. As I said before if not for the oil in Libya the rest of the world would not care about them

  39. What these idiots do not understand or care to understand is that before the Dictator there was a King very much in Saudi Arabia. Now is a King not a dictator? There is a place in Europe with a king as well that has the last say on key appointments and decisions … it is called Luxemburg and like the past leaders of Libya and Iraq he is running one of the best (by far) economies in the region. Maybe NATO should bomb this European country back into the middle ages as well. There are good dictators and bad. Judge them by their measurable performance. When idiot people from the West speak about human rights they are not referring to the women being forced into submission, but to weather or not “men” are allowed to vote to change a regime. There are good democracies and bad. Barbados like the overwhelming majority of Democracies in the world is a prime example of the bad …!

  40. With a new Libya all you supporters and apologist for Gadaffi can go their and live headed by a BAF cartel. and while you are at it you have the opportunity to formed an opposing government! How about that after 40 years.

  41. @ fireposse | October 23, 2011 at 4:23 PM |
“ZOE AND T. BLACKETT ARE HAPPY THAT BLACK PEOPLE ARE BEING SLAUGHTERED IN LIBYA. THESE GUYS ARE DOUBLE AGENTS…”

Brother, you are watching too much TV*…it may be time to shake yourself loose from the subliminal mind indoctrination caused by overexposure to unnecessary amounts of electromagnetic radiation – and get your head in the GOOD BOOK* to help clear the mental fog!!!

I was reluctantly watching this debate from the sidelines (minding my business affairs – while refusing to get roped into a possible quagmire) but having read PACHAMAMA’s slant on how he perceptibly sees the emerging paradigms unfold in the northern African peninsula – and “FIREPOSSE’s shot across the starboard bow at ZOE* (who does not have a color-prejudice bone in his body), a claim that one could probably attribute to me given my “ire” and philosophical perturbations in the past”…

Needlessly to say, I have been delivered!!! LOL…

But for the record “FIREPOSSE” – I am not a double-AGENT* and even if I did work for the Security Services, there is still plausible deniability which is part of secret agency protocol…

Regarding the piece of Muammar –

Some “truth” in a cocktail mixture of subtle “error” shaken and “stirred” for maximum inebriation impact…

But on a more sombre note:

Like much of AFRICA* – most writers and commentators refuse to look at how “TRIBALISM” plays a crucial part in the politicogenesis of these decadent, ancient nation-states like Libya who have not been able to shake themselves loose from the 7th century religiously militant debacle of JIHAD* FISABILILAH* and the resultant scars of BERBIAN* ISLAM** which plagues many good, well-meaning souls who are frankly lost in a vortex of religio-politico self delusion …

  42. @Chris H….Obviously sent u the wrong code!

@Moneybrain……Does 90% of the Libyan pop. come across as a minority to you? That’s the %age of the pop. that supported Ghadaffi. Do you think that the mind-controlling agents like the BBC, CNN,FOX et al would ever show the world what is really going on around us?

@Mr. Zoeeeee. It would do you a whole heap of good if you’d put down that ‘good book’ and all the anti-islam propaganda for a while and get yaself a good copy of the “Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion.” In these protocols everything is EXPLICIT. Their whole dirty rotten plan about how they are gonna take down the world as we know it, eliminate about 2/3rds of the population, poison us with diseases via VACCINES and on and on. The whole financial collapse is a part of their plan where they go in and own hard assets, like LIBYA & AFRICA. The take down of Ghadaffi and Assad is a part of their plan and they won’t stop there, they’re going after Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Pakistan BUT the BIG FISH is CHINA! They have countries like Barbados under their thumbs…so no need to worry ya pretty head. As a ‘christ-like’ man it would do you good to stop hating on Muslims and open your mind because these muslims are the same ones who will save your arse from this ‘jewish-satanic-plot,’ they are the only ones along with some African brothers who are destroying their sinister plot for humanity.

The enemy is the money-changers whom your ‘Jesus’ threw out of the temple. The same people who were behind Pilate and who riled the crowd up to crucify your ‘Christ’ the same way they have riled us those asses both in Libya and some right here on this blog to regurgitate the ‘shit’ they hear & see on TV, and kill and murder on their behalf.

Their plan is in action right before our eyes.

  43. This month of (OCTOBER) sees the world population spike towards the magically, record number of [7] BILLION* souls…

Of that conservative estimates put the number at 1.5 billion who are MUSLIMS*…

It is interesting that an ancient Arab maxim cites that – “Religion is a convenient falcon with which to hunt…”

Many Christian apologists are not happy with the statements I am about to make on ISLAM* but my firm belief is that GOD* used Muhammad and surviving ISLAM* to punish the warring factions of HIS* people (CHRISTIANS) for centuries due to strife, war, bigotry and death – all in the name of CHRIST…

Let me explain the foundation of my thesis:

Northern Africa had been the battleground from where “ASIAN” Christians had been in military conflict with “ARIAN” Christians and vica versa since the march of ROMAN CATHOLICISM…

Before the emergence of Muhammad – Greek Emperor Justinian attempted to “forcibly unite all people, whether Jews, Gentiles, or Christians to profess the Catholic faith. His edict of A.D. 532 forced sanctions against those not united with Rome and “declared [non-Catholics] infamous [despicable], and as such excluded from all employments both civil and military; rendered incapable of leaving anything by will; and all their estates confiscated, whether real or personal” (History of the Popes, Boniface 2nd, Page 199)…

Those restrictions were not sufficient, so the next year he again declared the Roman Church supreme and in June of 533 AD began violent crusades against what was deemed false-Christianity. Justinian’s liberator of Rome, General Belisarius, initiated his African campaign after Justinian was told he was compelled by God to attack “HERETICS”. Belisarius launched 600 war ships, 35,000 troops and sailors, and 500 horses against Christians with differing beliefs (Gibbon, Decline and Fall…, Chap.12, p.203).

By the time of the advent of Muhammad – the jihad fisabililah* spoken of earlier had been an Islamic scourge upon Christian nations as a “wakeup call” to repent and turn from their sins…

The prophecy of Rev. 9 speaks of the rise of Islam as emerging like smoke out of the Bottomless Pit and its subsequent domination of the earth and then its sudden, Armageddon apocalyptic demise…
